Objective To investigate the occurrence status quo and influencing factors of low muscle mass(LMM)among young and middle-aged health examination population. Methods The young and middle-aged people undergoing the body composition analysis in this hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. The general data, body composition indices and biochemical indicators were col-lected.The body composition analysis was performed by the bioelectrical impedance analysis(BIA).LMM was diagnosed based on the skeletal muscle index. The univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of LMN occurrence in the young and middle-aged health examination population. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and the area under the curve(AUC)were em-ployed to evaluate the predictive value of each indicator. Results A total of 2 351 people undergoing the phys-ical examination were included, aged 18-49 years old,366(15.57%)cases of LMM were detected out.The skeletal muscle index, sex, age, age group distribution, body mass index(BMI),body fat percentage(BFP),body fat percentage grade, visceral fat area(VFA),AST/ALT,Hb,serum creatinine, blood uric acid,HbA1c,fasting blood glucose,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,TG and triglyceride-glucose index(TyG)had statistical differences between the LMM group and normal group(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression revealed that the sex(OR=2.606,95%CI:1.755-3.870),BMI(OR=0.579,95%CI:0.538-0.623),BFP(OR=5.885,95%CI:4.176-8.292)and VFA(OR=0.955,95%CI:0.944-0.967)were the influencing factors for the LMM oc-currence in the young and middle-aged people undergoing the physical examination(P<0.001).The ROC a-nalysis showed the AUC values of the sex,BMI,BFP and VFA for predicting LMM were 0.580,0.821,0.636 and 0.715 respectively,in which the predictive value of BMI was highest. Conclusion The population of fe-male,low BMI,high BFP and low VFA maybe the high-risk groups for LMM.The health management for the above-mentioned groups needs to be strengthened.

3.Air pollution and elementary school students’ absenteeism caused by respiratory symptoms and diseases among primary school students
Chinese Journal of School Health 2019;40(3):415-418
Objective:
To investigate the health effects of air pollution on elementary school students with the indicator of absenteeism caused by respiratory symptoms and diseases, and to provide a reference for improving their physical health.
Methods:
Absenteeism, air pollutants, and meteorological data during Sep. 2015 to Jun. 2017 in Pudong, Shanghai were collected. Generalized additive model was used to estimate the effects of air pollution on students’ absenteeism caused by respiratory symptom and diseases, time trends, day of week and meteorological factors were controlled.
Results:
Totally 47 723 person-days of elementary school students’ absenteeism caused by respiratory symptoms and diseases were recorded during Sep.2015 to Jun. 2016 in Pudong, Shanghai, and the absenteeism rate was 0.07%. The PM2.5 concentration on lag0 and SO2 concentration on lag2 showed the most significant effects, the elementary school students’ absenteeism raised for 1.43% (95%CI=0.25%~2.62%)and 6.79% (95%CI=0.25%~13.32%) respectively with every 10 μg/m3 increment of PM2.5 and SO2.
Conclusion
Air pollution in Pudong new area have made a influence on the elementary school student’s respiratory symptoms and absenteeism, and the prevention work of air pollution should be strenghthened.

Objective To explore the influence of fixed in advance on the positive rate and integral of neutrophilic alkaline phosphatase (NAP) dyeing. Methods Totally 182 cases of fresh venous blood from inpatients in the top three hospital department of hematology were randomly selected and anticoagulated in the EDTA-K2 vacuum tube.Three blood smears from which were prepared as follows:the first blood smear(Named A) NAP dyeing completed within an hour;the second one (Named B) were fixed in advanceand NAP dyeing after one day;the third one (Named C) didn′t do any processing and NAP dyeing after one day.At the same time, the blood samples were taken from the fresh blood, and the blood smears were prepared and stained with NAP in an hour.NAP dyeing were performed by NAP dyeing for the blood smears, and 100 neutral rods, nucleus granulocyte were observed under microscope in the oil mirror vision, the test results record by positive rate and integral. Results No significant difference of NAP positive rate and integral was found in EDTA-K2 anticoagulation venous blood smear A when compared with fresh peripheral blood(P>0.05).The NAP positive rate and integral of EDTA-K2 anticoagulation venous blood smear B was slightly lower than that from fresh peripheral blood, but no significant difference was found(P>0.05).However,the NAP positive rate and integral in EDTA-K2 anticoagulant venous blood smear C has a significant difference from fresh peripheral blood(P<0.05).Conclusion The NAP dyeing results of EDTA-K2 anticoagulation venous blood smear fixed and placed one days are still reliable, while the NAP dyeing results was significantly reduced in the unfixed EDTA-K2 anticoagulation venous blood smear placed after one day.

【Objective】To compare different approaches and their effectiveness on the treatment of the femoral neck fracture in children,in order to provide a reliable and effective way for the treatment of the disease.【Methods】Clinical data of 21 cases with femoral neck fracture from 1983 to 1993 were analyzed retrospectively.【Results】21 cases were divided into three groups:① group Ⅰ:14 cases underwent closed reduction and internal fixation with multiple Kirscher′s pins or cannulate compression screws under C-arm X-ray monitor.Of the 14 cases,11 cases were healed,3 cases developed ischemic necrosis of femoral head;② group Ⅱ:4 cases was treated with skin traction and hip spica cast plaster fixation,3 cases was healed,1 case developed ischemic necrosis of femoral head;③ group Ⅲ:3 cases underwent opened reduction and internal fixation with multiple pins or cannulate compression screws,1 case was healed,2 cases developed ischemic necrosis of femoral head.【Conclusion】Closed reduction and multiple pins internal fixation under C-arm X-ray monitor may be the best choice of treatment of femoral neck fracture in children.
