Objective To investigate the incidence of colorectal serrated lesions(SL)combined with advanced neoplasia(AN)and to analyze the risk factors for SL combined AN.Methods A total of 297 patients with colorectal polyps detected by endoscopy and pathologically suggestive of SL from 1st October 2021 to 30th September 2023 in the First People's Hospital of Huzhou.They were divided into combined group(n=33)and uncomplicated group(n=264)according to whether they were combined with AN or not,and the clinicopathologic differences between two groups were compared and the coexisting risk factors were analyzed.Results Age ≥ 50 years,male,history of polyps,polyp size and different SL subtypes were all risk factors for SL combined with AN,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Logistic regression analysis revealed that age,male,history of polypos,and SL size were independent risk factors for SL combined with AN.Conclusion Males,older age,previous history of polyps,and larger SL lesions were more likely to have combined AN.

Objective To investigate the impact of linked color imaging(LCI)combined with a transparent cap on the detection rate of colorectal sessile serrated lesion(SSL).Methods A total of 492 patients who underwent colonoscopy the First People's Hospital of Huzhou from February 2024 to January 2025 were randomly assigned to three groups:White light imaging(WLI)group,LCI group,and LCI combined with transparent cap group,with 164 cases in each group.The general clinical data,cecal intubation time(CIT),withdrawal time,SSL detection rate,small(≤5mm)SSL detection rate,and proximal colon SSL detection rate were analyzed and compared among three groups.Results There were no significant differences in general clinical data,CIT,or withdrawal time among three groups(P>0.05).Statistical analysis revealed that the SSL detection rates for WLI group,LCI group,and LCI combined with transparent cap group were 6.10％,12.20％,and 18.90％,respectively;In the proximal colon,the SSL detection rates for WLI group,LCI group,and LCI combined with transparent cap group were 3.66％,9.15％,and 16.46％,respectively;For small(≤5mm)SSL,the detection rates were 1.22％,2.44％,and 7.32％in WLI group,LCI group,and LCI combined with transparent cap group,respectively also showing statistically significant differences(P<0.001).Conclusion Colonoscopy using LCI combined with a transparent cap significantly improves the detection rate of SSL,particularly for small SSL.

Black triangles can be formed due to the defect or absence of the gingival papilla, which increases the risks of food impaction, caries, and periodontal disease, and affects the esthetics of anterior teeth. The incidence of black triangles after orthodontic treatment is from 38% to 58%. The formation of black triangles is influenced by patient-related factors and factors related to orthodontic treatment. This article discusses the factors related to orthodontic treatment and the formation of interdental black triangles and provides reference for preventing the formation of this problem.

We aimed to obtain the recombinant aminopeptidase encoded by Listeria monocytogenes (L. monocytogenes) gene lmo1711, and characterized the enzyme. First, the amino acid sequences of Lmo1711 from L. monocytogenes EGD-e and its homologues in other microbial species were aligned and the putative active sites were analyzed. The putative model of Lmo1711 was constructed through the SWISS-MODEL Workspace. Then, the plasmid pET30a-Lmo1711 was constructed and transformed into E. coli for expression of the recombinant Lmo1711. The his-tagged soluble protein was purified using the nickel-chelated affinity column chromatography. With the amino acid-p-nitroaniline as the substrate, Lmo1711 hydrolyzed the substrate to free p-nitroaniline monomers, whose absorbance measured at 405 nm reflected the aminopeptidase activity. The specificity of Lmo1711 to substrates was then examined by changing various substrates, and the effect of metal ions on the catalytic efficiency of this enzyme was further determined. Based on the bioinformatics data, Lmo1711 is a member of the M29 family aminopeptidases, containing a highly conserved catalytic motif (Glu-Glu-His-Tyr-His-Asp) with typical structure arrangements of the peptidase family. The recombinant Lmo1711 with a size of about 49.3 kDa exhibited aminopeptidase activity and had a selectivity to the substrates, with the highest degree of affinity for leucine-p-nitroaniline. Interestingly, the enzymatic activity of Lmo1711 can be activated by Cd²⁺, Zn²⁺, and is strongly stimulated by Co²⁺. We here, for the first time demonstrate that L. monocytogenes lmo1711 encodes a cobalt-activated aminopeptidase of M29 family.

Objective To investigate hemodynamie change in uremia complicating heart failure of elderly patients. Methods Totally 241 cases with uremia complicating heart failure received measurement of circulation dynamic detection(CD).The volume load,myocardial contractility and blood pressure were analyzed in the elderly group aged(71±6)years (n=116) and young and middleaged group aged(38± 10)years(n =125). Objective To investigate the relationship between metabolism syndrome (MS) and fatty liver. Methods Plasma lipids, plasma glucose, liver function, blood pressure, body height and body weight were determined in 666 leaders receiving physical examination. Their livers were also examined by ultrasound. Whit analysis of variance and chi-square test, the effect of plasma lipids, plasma glucose, blood pressure, and weight index on fatty liver, and the relation between MS and fatty liver were analyzed. Results The weight index, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and the levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, apolipoprotein B and plasma glucose in the patients with fatty liver were higher than those in healthy subjects. The levels of high-density lipoprotein and apolipoprotein A were lower in patients with fatty liver than those in healthy subjects. The morbidity of fatty liver in the patients with MS was higher than that in healthy subjects. Conclusion There was a close relation between MS and fatty liver. It was necessary to early treat MS.
