Objective:To explore the effect of EAERI (E: environment; A: accompany; E: emotion; R: respect; I: information) support strategies in the application of nurse second victims in restoring the passage of a patient safety incident, and to provide support to nurse second victims experiencing a safety incident in restoring the incident and mitigating secondary victimization from the incident. Methods:The method of historical comparison was adopted. A convenience sampling method was used to select nurses who experienced patient safety events in Shanxi Bethune Hospital (Shanxi Academy of Medical Sciences) from January 2023 to February 2024 as the study subjects, which were divided into observation group and control group by the historical control grouping method. The observation group used the EAERI support strategy for patient safety incident reduction, and the control group used the conventional reduction method. The second victims of the nurses in both groups were assessed for their level of harm and support in the patient safety incident using the Second Victim Experience and Support Tool before and after the event reduction, respectively. Results:A total of 124 second victims completed the study. There were 63 cases in the control group, including 13 males and 50 females, with an age of (30.24 ± 4.91) years old. There were 20 males and 41 females in the observation group, with an age of (30.85 ± 5.50) years old. Before the restoration event, there was no significant differences in the total scores of victim experience and support, the degree of injury and the degree of support between the two groups (all P>0.05). The total scores of victim experience and support, the degree of injury and the degree of support were (89.35 ± 10.69), (44.57 ± 6.19), (44.78 ± 9.40) points in the control group, and (64.13 ± 9.36), (33.56 ± 8.84), (30.56 ± 3.17) points in the observation group. The differences were significant between the two groups ( t=14.02, 8.07, 11.29, all P<0.01). Conclusions:The EAERI support strategy is feasible and effective. The implementation of the EAERI support strategy can reduce the degree of injury when the second victim of the nurse restores the safety incident and improve the degree of support.

ObjectiveTo understand the serotype distribution and drug resistance of salmonella contaminated in commercially available food. MethodsSalmonella detection, including the serotypes, was conducted in food products sold in Pudong New Area from 2020 to 2022. The antimicrobial susceptibility test of 15 antibiotics was conducted by the broth microassay. ResultsA total of 118 salmonella strains were detected in 2 497 pieces of food, with a total detection rate of 4.7%. The dominant detection categories were poultry meat, livestock meat and aquatic products. The 118 salmonella strains could be divided into 24 serotypes, Salmonella enteritidis (26.4%), Salmonella Typhimurium (16.2%) and Salmonella delpy (14.4%) were the main dominant types. Salmonella had the highest resistance rate to ampicillin (63.6%), followed by tetracycline, chloramphenicol, cotrimoxazole and nalidixic acid. Among the three dominant serotypes, the multidrug resistance rate of Salmonella typhimurium was the highest (89.5%), followed by Salmonella delpy (70.6%) and Salmonella enteritidis (61.3%). ConclusionLivestock, poultry meat, and aquatic products are seriously contaminated by salmonella with diverse serotypes. The livestock meat is mainly contaminated by Salmonella typhimurium and Salmonella delpy, and the poultry meat is mainly contaminated by Salmonella enteritidis. The drug resistance spectrum is wide and the multi-drug resistance rate is high. Different from the livestock and aquatic isolates, poultry meat-derived strains have high tolerance to ampicillin, nalidixic acid and polymyxin, and carry certain potential food safety risks.

Objective To analyze the incidence and epidemic characteristics of Class A and B infectious diseases in Jiading District of Shanghai from 2014 to 2019,understand the prevention and control effects of infectious diseases in recent years, and provide a reference for the formulation of future prevention and control strategies and measures for infectious diseases. Methods According to the " China Disease Prevention and Control Information System",statistical analysis was conducted on the data of Class A and B infectious diseases in Jiading District of Shanghai from 2014 to 2019. Results A total of 11 862 cases of Class A and B infectious diseases were reported in Jiading District of Shanghai from 2014 to 2019,with an average annual incidence rate of 127.34/100000. The overall reported incidence rate showed a downward trend (χ2=36.354,P =0.000<0.05) .The top five infectious diseases with an average annual incidence were syphilis, gonorrhea, tuberculosis, scarlet fever, and hepatitis B.The incidence rate in the central area of Jiading District was high over the years, and the incidence rate in the north and south was low.The incidence of males was higher than that of females, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=818.269,P=0.000<0.05) .The high incidence age was 5- years old, followed by 20- years old. The top three occupations in terms of morbidity were workers, housework, unemployed, and retired. In terms of onset time,December and May-June were the two peak periods; February was the trough. Conclusion Class A and B infectious diseases in Jiading District of Shanghai showed a downward trend from 2014to 2019. Blood-borne and sexually transmitted infections and respiratory infectious diseases are still infectious diseases that need to be focused on prevention and control, mainly syphilis, gonorrhea and tuberculosis. Targeted prevention measures should be formulated in conjunction with peak onset times and key populations to further reduce the incidence of Class A and B infectious diseases.

Objective: To study the relationship between insulin resistance (IR) and coronary collateral circulation in patients with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT). Methods: A total of 227 patients with coronary angiography (CAG) were studied. There were 131 patients with male gender and the average patient’s age was (53.2 ± 11.0) years. IR (HOMA2-IR) index was measured by HOMA2 method, the severity level of coronary stenosis was assessed by Gensini scoring system, collateral circulation condition was determined by Rentrop classiifcation. 187 IGT patients were divided into 4 groups: Rentrop 0 group,n=55, Rentrop 1 group,n=42, Rentrop 2 group,n=39 and Rentrop 3 group,n=51; in addition, Control group,n=40 patients with normal glucose tolerance and coronary stenosis<50%. Results: Compared with Control group, all patients in 4 Rentrop groups had increased 2h-PBG, HbA1c, HOMA2-IR and Gensini score, while decreased fasting insulin (FINS), allP<0.05. Compared with Rentrop 3 group and Rentrop 2 group, the patients in Rentrop 1 group and Rentrop 0 group had elevated 2h-PBG, HbA1c, HOMA2-IR and Gensini score, while Rentrop 0 group had reduced FINS, allP<0.05. Multivariable regression analysis showed that HOMA2-IR index (R=0.518,P<0.05), HbA1c (R=1.916, P<0.05), 2h-PBG (R=2.130,P<0.05) and FINS (R=1.547,P<0.05) might be related to the severity of coronary stenosis. Binary regression analysis indicated that poor collateral circulation (the patients in Rentrop 0 group and Rentrop 1 group) was related to HOMA2-IR index (OR=1.679, 95% CI 1.101-2.558,P=0.016). Conclusion: HOMA2-IR index could be signiifcantly higher in patients with IGT combining chronic coronary occlusion. IR was the independent risk factor for the severity of coronary stenosis and coronary collateral formation.

This paper is to evaluate the biocompatibility and cytotoxicity of a new Ni-free Zr-based bulk metallic glass (BMG), Zr60.14 Cu22.31 Fe4.85 Al9.7 Ag3, by comparing it with conventional Ti6Al4V alloy. According to ISO 10993-5: 1999 and GB/T 16886.5-1997 standards, Zr60.14 Cu22.31 Fe4.85 Al9.7 Ag3, pure Zr and Ti6Al4V materials were extracted with surface area of sample/volume of medium ratio being 1 cm2/mL and 0.5 cm2/mL, respectively. The viabilities of MG-63 cells (Human osteosarcoma cell line) cultured in the BMG medium extracts for 1, 3 and 5 days were determined by CCK-8 assay. The cellular morphology of MG-63 cells cultured on the surface of samples for 3 days was tested through laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The relative growth rate (RGR) of MG-63 cells cultured in Zr60.14 Cu22.31 Fe4.85 Al9.7 Ag3 and pure Zr were both more than 85%, indicating that the cytotoxicity of BMG was relatively low and met the national biomedical material eligibility standard. There was insignificant difference in the morphology of MG-63 cells cultured in the BMG medium extracts and the control group through LSCM and SEM, which showed the BMG had excellent biological compatibility. The Zr-based bulk metallic glass Zr60.14 Cu22.31 Fe4.85 Al9.7 Ag3 and the conventional Ti6Al4V alloy both had no obvious cytotoxicity to MG-63 cells. These results provided evidence that the new Zr-based bulk metallic glass could be potential replacement material for the orthopedic surgical implant.
