Objective: To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of category C intestinal infectious diseases among children and adolescents in Shenzhen from 2012 to 2024 and the association with meteorological factors, so as to provide a scientific basis for the targeted prevention and control of infectious diseases for children and adolescents. Methods: Using data from the "Infectious Disease Reporting Information Management System" of the "China Disease Prevention and Control Information System" covering the period from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2024, the study analyzed clinical and confirmed cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease, other infectious diarrhea, and acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis among individuals aged 6-19 years old to describe demographic and temporal characteristics. It used Joinpoint regression to calculate the average annual percent change (AAPC) and annual percent change (APC) to analyze incidence trends, and Spearman s correlation was combined to generalize linear models so as to assess the association between category C intestinal infectious diseases and meteorological factors. Results: From 2012 to 2024, a cumulative total of 61 019 cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease among children and adolescents, 58 498 cases of other infectious diarrhea, and 6 377 cases of acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis were reported. The AAPC in the incidence rates of these three diseases was 19.19%, 31.03% and 31.48 %, respectively(all P <0.05). Notably, the incidence of hand, foot, and mouth disease increased significantly after 2022 (APC= 133.66 %, P <0.01). The temporal distribution showed that hand,foot,and mouth disease was most prevalent in May,June and July (seasonal index of 2.39,3.64,1.97), other infectious diarrhea was most prevalent in February,March and December (seasonal index of 1.22,1.25,1.47), and acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis peaked in September and October (seasonal index of 4.22,2.16). Monthly average temperature could increase the risk of hand,foot,and mouth disease( β = 0.18 ,95% CI =0.11-0.25); as monthly average wind speed increased, the incidence of other infectious diarrhea ( β =-0.86, 95% CI = -1.50 to -0.22) and acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis ( β =-1.32, 95% CI =-2.60 to -0.05) both decreased (all P < 0.05 ). Conclusions Among children and adolescents in Shenzhen, category C intestinal infectious diseases remain prevalent throughout the year；the number of reported hand, foot, and mouth disease cases has shown an upward trend in recent years.Temperature and wind speed significantly affect the number of reported cases of three types with category C intestinal infectious diseases.

BACKGROUND:Many recent studies have shown a close relationship between inflammatory cytokines and osteoporosis and bone mineral density(BMD).However,the causal relationship between inflammatory cytokines and BMD has not been fully revealed. OBJECTIVE:To explore the potential causal relationship between inflammatory cytokines and BMD using a two-sample Mendelian randomization analysis. METHODS:The single nucleotide polymorphisms associated with 41 circulating inflammatory cytokines were selected from the open database of genome-wide association studies(GWAS)as instrumental variables.The GWAS data about BMD were from the Genetic Factors for Osteoporosis Consortium,involving a total of 32 735 individuals of European ancestry.Inverse variance weighting was used as the primary analysis to evaluate the causal effect.Weighted median,MR Egger regression,simple mode,and weighted mode methods were used to supplement the explanation.We used the MR-Egger intercept and MR-PRESSO method to conduct a pleiotropy test,the Cochran's Q test was used to determine whether there was heterogeneity in the results,and the leave-one-out method was used to evaluate the stability of the results.In addition,to more accurately assess the causality,the Bonferroni-corrected test was used to identify inflammatory cytokines that have a strong causal relationship with BMD. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)According to the results of the inverse variance weighting method,we found a positive causal relationship between interleukin-8 and lumbar spine BMD[β=0.075,95%confidence interval(CI):0.033-0.117,P=0.000 5),while a negative causal relationship between interleukin-17 and lumbar spine BMD(β=-0.083,95%CI:-0.152 to-0.014,P=0.018).There might be a negative causal relationship between tumor necrosis factor b and femoral neck BMD(β=-0.053,95%CI:-0.088 to-0.018,P=0.003),while a positive causal relationship between basic fibroblast growth factor and femoral neck BMD(β=0.085,95%CI:0.016-0.154,P=0.015).There might be a negative causal relationship between macrophage inflammatory protein-1a and total body BMD(β=-0.056,95%CI:-0.105 to-0.007,P=0.025).There was a negative causal relationship between interleukin-5(β=-0.019,95%CI:-0.031 to-0.006,P=0.004),stromal cell-derived factor-1a(β=-0.022,95%CI:-0.038 to-0.005,P=0.010),hepatocyte growth factor(β=-0.021,95%CI:-0.041 to-0.002,P=0.030),interleukin-4(β=-0.016,95%CI:-0.032 to-0.001,P=0.034)and heel BMD,while a positive causal relationship between nerve growth factor(β=0.019,95%CI:0.002-0.036,P=0.033),granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(β=0.011,95%CI:0.000-0.022,P=0.050),and heel BMD.Meanwhile,after the Bonferroni-corrected test,there was a strong positive causal effect between interleukin-8 and lumbar spine BMD(P=0.000 5).And consistent directional effects for all analyses were observed in MR Egger,weighted median,simple mode,and weighted mode methods.(2)Sensitivity analyses revealed no heterogeneity,pleiotropy,or outliers for the causal effect of circulating inflammatory cytokines on BMD.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of serum microRNA-326(miR-326)and microRNA-623(miR-623)in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients and their clinical pathological characteristics and prognosis.Methods A total of 114 NSCLC patients diagnosed in our hospital from March 2019 to June 2020 were collected as study subjects as case group,123 healthy individuals who underwent physical examination were as the control group.According to the 3-year prognosis,patients were separated into a survival group of 71 cases and a death group of 43 cases.Patient related clinical data were collected,real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR method was applied to detect the expression levels of miR-326 and miR-623 in various serum samples;Kaplan-Meier method was applied to analyze the relationship between the expression levels of serum miR-326 and miR-623 in NSCLC patients and their 3-year prognosis;Cox proportional risk regression model was applied to analyze the influencing factors of 3-year prognosis in NSCLC patients.Results The expression levels of serum miR-326 in the case group and control group were 0.64±0.15 and 1.02±0.23,respectively,and the expression levels of miR-623 were 0.56±0.10 and 0.98±0.15,respectively.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The proportions of patients with low expression of miR-326 and miR-623 in low differentiation,TNM stage Ⅲ+Ⅳ,and lymph node metastasis were higher than those in high differentiation,TNM stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ,and no lymph node metastasis(P＜0.05).The 3-year survival rates of patients with low expression of miR-326(20/55,36.36％)and miR-623(27/61,44.26％)in the serum of NSCLC patients were lower than those of patients with high expression of miR-326(51/59,86.44％)and miR-623(44/53,83.02％)(Log Rank x2=32.060,22.812,P＜0.05).Serum miR-326[(0.55±0.09)vs.(0.69±0.11)]and miR-623 levels[(0.48±0.08)vs.(0.61±0.10)]of patients in the death group were significantly lower than those in the survival group(P＜0.05).The area under the curve(AUC)for poor prognosis of serum miR-326 and miR-623 alone and in combination in patients diagnosed with NSCLC were 0.828(95％CI:0.754 to 0.901),0.763(95％CI:0.671 to 0.855),and 0.903(95％CI:0.849 to 0.958),respectively.The proportions of patients with TNM stage Ⅲ+Ⅳ,lymph node metastasis,low expression of miR-326 and low expression of miR-623in the death group were higher than those in the survival group(P＜0.05).MiR-326 and miR-623 were protective factors affecting 3-year mortality in NSCLC patients,while TNM staging and lymph node metastasis were independent risk factors affecting 3-year mortality in NSCLC patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion The low expression of miR-326 and miR-623 may be involved in the occurrence and development of lung cancer,which is closely related to the clinical pathological characteristics and poor prognosis of patients.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate effectiveness and safety of rh-endostatin in the treatment of keloid.METHODS:Sixty-four keloid patients in Nanchong Central Hospital during Jan.2015-Jan:2016 were divided into observation group and control group by random number table,with 32 cases in each group.Both group received fractional CO2 laser treatment.After surgery,control group was given antioxidant drug and antibiotics routinely.Observation group was additionally given Rh-endostatin injection 0.1-0.2 mg/cm2 via keloid body,once a month,for twice,on the basis of control group.Clinical efficacy,symptom score after laser treatment and 2 months after laser treatment,wound healing time,wound pigmentation area and keloid area before and after treatment,the occurrence of ADR were compared between 2 groups.RESULTS:There was no statistical significance in total re sponse rate (93.75％ vs.87.50％) and the incidence of ADR (15.63％ vs.12.50％) between observation group and control group (P＞0.05).There was no statistical significance in symptom score of control group between after laser treatment and after 2 months of treatment (P＞0.05).The erythema,edema and pigmentation scores of observation group were significantly lower than before treatment and control group,with statistical significance (P＜0.05);there was no statistical significance in skin itching and burning sensation score between 2 groups (P＞0.05).The wound incrustation time,decrustation time and wound healing time of observation group were significantly shorter than those of control group,with statistical significance (P＜0.05).Pigmentation area and keloid area of 2 groups were significantly smaller than before,and the observation group was significantly smaller than the control group,with statistical significance (P＜0.05).CONCLUSIONS:Rh-endostatin can alleviate erythema,edema,pigmenta tion and other symptoms effectively,shorten healing time,and inhibit pigmentation and keloid regeneration effectively with good safety.

Objective To explore the association between PI3K polymorphisms in insulin signal transduction pathway and Alzheimer's disease (AD)risk.Methods There were three groups,including 112 cases for AD +T2D group,231 cases for only AD group,and 231 cases for healthy controls group.The polymorphisms in PI3K gene was sequenced by PCR and the concentration of PI3K in serum was tested by enzyme -linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results Overall,there was significantly statistical difference in PI3K rs3730087 polymorphism among three groups (χ2 =20.99,P =0.000 3).The CC frequency of PI3K rs3730087 polymorphism in AD with T2D group and AD control group was significantly higher than that in the healthy control group.The PI3K protein level of differ-ent genotype was statistically significant (F =27.450,P <0.000 1).As for CC genotypes of PI3K rs3730087 poly-morphism,the PI3K protein level was statistically different among these three groups (F =8.096,P =0.000 6).Moreover,the PI3K protein level of the three groups was different (F =9.034,P =0.000 1),which in both AD group was lower as compared with healthy control group.Conclusion The study suggested that CC genotype of PI3K rs3730087 polymorphism in insulin signaling transduction pathway might be a risk factor for AD with T2D and it also affects the expression level of PI3K protein.However,the polymorphism is not shown to be exclusive in AD patients with T2D.

Objective To propose an improved discrete wavelet transform (DWT ) and to apply it in multimodal medical im‐age fusion .Methods Firstly ,the source medical images were initially transformed into the high frequency and low frequency images by DWT ;then the high frequency part adopted the big direction absolute values ,which effectively preserved the detailed informa‐tion of image ,while the low frequency part used the fusion rule of local energy ratio for preserving the most of image information ;finally ,the discrete wavelet reverse transform was used for reconstructing the fusion sub‐images into fusion image .Results By comparing the fusion images by 3 groups of medical images ,this proposed algorithm was superior to other existing algorithms in the aspects of subjective visual effect and objective evaluation indicators .Conclusion The proposed algorithm of medical image fusion is rapid and accurate ,has excellent performance in the noise environment and clinical examples ,can obtain the high quality fusion im‐age and has higher clinical application value .

Objective To present our initial experience of using transumbilical multi-stab laparoscopic pyeloplasty(TMLP) as a treatment for the infants younger than 3 months with severe hydronephrosis caused by ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO).Methods Seventy-two infants younger than 3 months with severe hydronephrosis caused by UPJO underwent TMLP from June 2010 to March 2013 in our center.The average age received operation was 34 days (7-87 days).The operative indications included:① prenatal diagnosis of Society of Fetal Urology Grade 4 hydronephrosis; ②ipsilateral differential renal function being less than 40％.Patients were followed up with physical examinations,ultrasound and radionuclide scans.Results The operations were successfully performed in all the 72 patients.Neither conversion nor additional trocars placement was required and there was no intraoperative complication.The average operative time was 75 min (range,53-118 min).The patients were followed up for 6-36 months (mean,12 months).The renal pelvic anteroposterior diameters were reduced and the renal functions were improved (P＜ 0.05).The anastomoses were proved to be patent and the renal parenchymal thickeness increased.In addition,the scars were barely noticeable.Conclusions TMLP for the infants younger than 3 months with severe hydronephrosis caused by UPJO is feasible,safe and less invasive.The cosmetic results are excellent.But the surgery must be operated by rich experienced surgeon.

Objective To explore the related risk factors and control measures for senium patients with type 2 diabetes and to provide basis for making control and prevention measures.Methods A retrospective case-control study was conducted.548 cases of type 2 diabetes patients in our hospital were selected as case group and other 640 cases of normal people who accepted physical examination in our hospital were selected as control group.Results Exposure rates of smoking,drinking,obesity,hypertension,hypedipidemia and family history in case group were obviously higher than those of control group(P ＜0.05).Conclusion Smoking,drinking,obesity,hypertension,hyperlipidemia and family history were risk factors of type 2 diabetes.Comprehensive intervention measures related to the risk factors,such as maintaining a good way life,were importantto prevent and control type 2 diabetes.

METHODSPatients underwent both CTCA in Double Flash mode and conventional coronary angiography (CAG) and were divided into two groups according to heart rate (HR), namely group A with HR <65/min (62 cases) and group B with HR between 65 and 80/min (52 cases). All the coronary segments were evaluated by two blinded and independent observers for image quality on a four-point scale and for the presence of significant coronary stenoses (defined as a diameter narrowing exceeding 50%). CAG served as the reference standard for analyzing the diagnostic accuracy of Double Flash mode images on the level of both patients and vessels. Radiation dose values were calculated using the dose-length product.

RESULTSA total of 114 patients were enrolled and 1725 vessel segments were displayed. In terms of image quality, the diagnosable segments accounted for 98.5% (919/933) in group A and 97.3% (770/792) in group B. In the per-patient analysis, the diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy were 100%, 90.5%, 88.2%, 100% and 96.7% in group A and were 100%, 88.5%, 94.5%, 100% and 96.2% in group B, respectively. The mean effective radiation dose was 1.63∓0.52 mSv.

CONCLUSIONDouble Flash spiral protocol of dual-source CTCA can acquire good image quality and yield high diagnostic accuracy for assessment of coronary artery stenoses at a low radiation dose in patients with HR between 65 and 80/min.
