OBJECTIVE:
To detect the serum level of chemokine CXC motif chemokine 10 (CXCL-10) and Krebs von den lungen-6 (KL-6) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD), and to analyze their correlation with RA-ILD, as well as the significance in RA-ILD.
METHODS:
A total of 169 RA patients were enrolled in the study. According to imaging findings of with and without ILD in high-resolution computed tomography scans of chest, the subjects were divided into RA-ILD group and RA-non-ILD group. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 80 patients in each of the two groups were finally selected. Two groups were matched according to the 1 ∶ 1 ratio using propensity score matching (PSM). The serum CXCL-10 and KL-6 levels were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The clinical features, laboratory data and medications between the two groups were compared after PSM and the correlation between serum levels and clinical parameters were analyzed. Binary Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of ILD in the RA patients, and the predictive value of CXCL-10 and KL-6 in RA-ILD was evaluated.
RESULTS:
In this study, 49 patients with RA-ILD and 49 patients with RA-non-ILD were selected by PSM. The levels of CXCL-10 and KL-6 in the RA-ILD group [64.36 (34.01, 110.18) ng/L, 360.70 (236.35, 715.05) U/mL] were significantly higher than those in the RA-non-ILD group [29.80 (16.89, 40.55) ng/L, 210.69 (159.98, 255.50) U/mL] (all P < 0.001). The results of correlation analysis showed that the level of serum CXCL-10 was positively correlated with the Warrick score on chest CT (r=0.378, P=0.007) and negatively correlated with the percentage of forced vital capacity to the predicted value (FVC%, r=-0.338, P=0.018). And the level of KL-6 was positively correlated with rheumatoid factor (RF, r=0.296, P=0.039) and negatively correlated with FVC% (r=-0.436, P=0.002) and the percentage of diffusion capacity for carbon monoxide to the predicted value (DLCO%, r=-0.426, P=0.002). Both univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that CXCL-10 and KL-6 were positively correlated with ILD, the values of OR were 1.035 and 1.023 in CXCL-10 and those were 1.004 and 1.005 in KL-6 respectively (P < 0.05). The ROC curves were plotted with CXCL-10 and KL-6. The area under the curve (AUC) was 0.770 and 0.752 respectively. The AUC of combined detection increased to 0.800.
CONCLUSION
Serum levels of CXCL-10 and KL-6 are significantly elevated in patients with RA-ILD and correlated with the severity of ILD. The combined estimate of them helps to improve the effectiveness of diagnosis.

Metabolic reprogramming is a hallmark of cancer, including lung cancer. However, the exact underlying mechanism and therapeutic potential are largely unknown. Here we report that protein arginine methyltransferase 6 (PRMT6) is highly expressed in lung cancer and is required for cell metabolism, tumorigenicity, and cisplatin response of lung cancer. PRMT6 regulated the oxidative pentose phosphate pathway (PPP) flux and glycolysis pathway in human lung cancer by increasing the activity of 6-phospho-gluconate dehydrogenase (6PGD) and α-enolase (ENO1). Furthermore, PRMT6 methylated R324 of 6PGD to enhancing its activity; while methylation at R9 and R372 of ENO1 promotes formation of active ENO1 dimers and 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PG) binding to ENO1, respectively. Lastly, targeting PRMT6 blocked the oxidative PPP flux, glycolysis pathway, and tumor growth, as well as enhanced the anti-tumor effects of cisplatin in lung cancer. Together, this study demonstrates that PRMT6 acts as a post-translational modification (PTM) regulator of glucose metabolism, which leads to the pathogenesis of lung cancer. It was proven that the PRMT6-6PGD/ENO1 regulatory axis is an important determinant of carcinogenesis and may become a promising cancer therapeutic strategy.

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of work-amusement activities combined with daytime rehabilitation technology for schizophrenia in remission. Methods:A total of 218 patients with schizophrenia in remission who received treatment in Shaoxing 7 th People's Hospital from September 2018 to April 2020 were prospectively included in this study. They were randomly divided into an observation group ( n = 109) and a control group ( n = 109). Both groups were treated with routine drugs. Based on this, the control group was treated with daytime rehabilitation technology, and the observation group was treated with daytime rehabilitation technology combined with work-amusement activities. After 12 weeks of treatment, curative effect, Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (PANSS) and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores were compared between the two groups. Results:After 12 weeks of treatment, total response rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (91.74% vs. 77.06%, χ2 = 8.92, P < 0.05). After treatment, PANSS score in the observation group was significantly decreased compared with that before treatment [(33.12 ± 4.19) points vs. (40.54 ± 5.32) points, t = 11.44, P < 0.05). After treatment, PANSS score in the control group was significantly decreased compared with that before treatment [(35.02 ± 4.33) points vs. (40.54 ± 5.32) points, t = 8.55, P < 0.05). After treatment, PANSS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group ( t = 3.29, P < 0.05). After treatment, MoCA score in the observation group was significantly increased compared with that before treatment [(27.14 ± 2.89) points vs. (23.39 ± 2.48) points, t = 10.28, P < 0.05]. After treatment, MoCA score in the control group was significantly increased compared with that before treatment [(26.02 ± 2.73) points vs. (23.41 ± 2.56) points, t = 7.28, P < 0.05]. After treatment, MoCA score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( t = 2.94, P < 0.05). Conclusion:The efficacy of work-amusement activities combined with daytime rehabilitation technology is marked on schizophrenia in remission, which can markedly improve mental symptoms and cognitive function.

OBJECTIVETo analyze two fetuses with multiple malformations revealed by ultrasonography using single nucleotide polymorphism array (SNP array), and to explore the strategy for the prenatal diagnosis of 1p36 deletion syndrome.
METHODSAmniocentesis was performed on the two pregnant women. Amnion fluid cells were cultured, and karyotypes of the fetuses were determined through G-banding analysis. Whole genome SNP array was used to detect genomic anomalies of the two fetuses. The karyotypes of their parents were determined through G-banding analysis of peripheral venous blood samples.
RESULTSG-banding analysis showed a 46,XY,add(1p36)? and a 46,XX,add(1p36)? karyotype for fetuses 1 and 2, respectively. SNP array analysis showed that the fetus 1 had arr[19]1p36.33p36.32 (752 566 - 3 393 462)×1 and 7q35q36.3 (144 480 549 - 159 119 486)×3, and fetus 2 had arr[19]1p36.33p36.23 (752 566 - 8 362 754)×1, 6p25.3p22.3 (204 909 - 20 182 185)×3. The mother of fetus 1 had a 46,XX,t(1;7)(p36;q35) karyotype, and the mother of fetus 2 had a 46,XX,t(1;6)(p36;p22) karyotype. The karyotypes of both fathers appeared to be normal.
CONCLUSIONSNP array has the advantages such as high sensitivity and high accuracy for prenatal diagnosis, and can provide more detailed information for genetic counseling of 1p36 deletion syndrome.
