Objective To analyze and summarize the clinical manifestations, ultrasound images, and pathological features of the rare disease fibro-adipose vascular anomaly(FAVA),in order to improve under-standing of the disease and reduce misdiagnosis rates. Methods The clinical manifestations, lesion locations, ultrasound images, and pathological findings of 37 patients diagnosed with FAVA in this hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were analyzed. Results FAVA predominantly occurred in children and young and middle-aged women, mainly presenting as hard masses in the calves, progressive pain, with some cases ac-companied by movement disorders. It was rarely seen in the thighs, forearms, upper arms, and elbow joints. The disease primarily affected muscles and rarely affected nerves. When muscles and nerves were involved,it exhibited characteristic ultrasonographic features and unique imaging manifestations on magnetic resonance imaging. In immunohistochemistry, besides vascular and lymphatic markers such as CD31(vascular+),CD34(vascular+),D2-40(lymphatic+),and ERG(vascular endothelial cells+),some lesions also showed molecu-lar markers including Factor Ⅷ(+),Ki-67(<1%+),Vimentin(+),β-catenin(partial+),and SMA(partial+).Conclusion Awareness of the ultrasonographic and pathological characteristics of FAVA should be increased to reduce the misdiagnosis rate.

Objective To observe the effect of total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) on intrapulmonary shunt fraction and arterial oxygenation during one-lung ventilation (OLV) for thoracoscope surgery. Methods Forty patients scheduled for thoracoscope surgery were randomly assigned to two groups ( n =20),group of TIVA (A) and group of intravenous anesthesia combined with inhalational anesthesia(B).After inducing and intubating, patients were assigned to maintenance of anesthesia with propofol ( group A)or with sevoflurane ( group B) in order to maintain a BIS between 40 and 60.Mean arterial pressure (MAP),heart rate (HR),SpO2 and Paw were measured in four phases, always in the lateral position,10min after beginning two-lung ventilation (TLV),15 min after beginning OLV (OLV + 15 ),30 rain after beginning OLV ( OLV + 30) and 60 min after beginning OLV ( OLV + 60).Blood samples were drawn simultaneously and analyzed within 5 min.The Qs/Qt at each phase was calculated.Adverse events including hypotension, bradycardia, hypoxemia, delayed emergence and restlessness in recovery period were recorded. Results In all patients,a decrease in PaO2 and an increase in the Qs/Qt occurred during OLV were observed. But PaO2 values in group A were significantly higher than those in group B ( 177 ±88 vs 125 ±63;150 ±65 vs 110 ±67;188 ±69 vs 128 ±52) ( P <0.05).The Qs/Qt in group B was significantly higher than those in group A (34.2 ±5 vs 28.8 ±2;38.4 ±8 vs 32.1 ±6;37.1 ±2 vs 29.5 ±2,P <0.05).MAP values in group A were significantly lower than those in group B at the phase:OLV + 15 and OLV +30(72 ± 10 vs 88 ± 14;74 ± 12 vs 89 ± 10) ( P < 0.05 ).The incidence of hypotension and delayed emergence in group A was higher than those in group B ( 10 case vs 4 case;9 case vs 2 case). The incidence of restlessness in recovery period in group B was more than those in group A (9 case vs 3 case). The differences between two groups were significant ( P < 0.05).Conclusions Compared with sevoflurane-sufentanyl combined anesthesia,TIVA with propofol can efficiently decrease intrapulmonary shunt fraction and improve arterial oxygenation during OLV for thoracoscope surgery, which is good for the prevention of hypoxemia.

The electric properties of biotic tissues are of importance to our understanding biotic substances even life. But the measurement taken in this aspect is different from the measurement of ordinary materials, we need a special testing instrument for living substances. In order to understand the alternating frequency properties of body fluid and tissues in detail, we have developed an electricity characteristic testing system, which is more proper for testing living substances. This system adopts advanced measuring method and expert circuit. As the measure and the control core, the single chip processor is used. This system has wide frequency range and wide impedance testing range, much more adapted objects, and it is dependable, more precise and intelligent. The application of this system in practical testing has obtained optimal results.

This research aims at the process of three-dimensional(3D) reconstruction from medical body data using VRML and VC++, JavaScript language and focuses on the application of VRML for 3D reconstruction of medical digital images. The 2D medical digital images firstly are modified in VC++ language. Then, the images are manipulated by mould built in VRML and modified in JavaScript language. Finally, the 3D reconstruction of body internal organs can be formed in high quality near to those got in traditional methods. Furthermore, VRML browser can offer better windows of man-computer interaction in real time environment. As a new method and tool quite different from traditional ways of 3D reconstruction, VRML is useful for the visualization of medical 3D reconstruction based on 2D images and has a promising prospect in the field of medical image.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(05):-
Objective:To study the differences of gene expression between Tca8113 and Tca8113/CBP tissues in nude mice. Methods:Tca8113 cells were injected subcutaneously in both sides of armpits of nude mice at the concentration of 5?106 cells/0.1 ml. Two weeks after injection, Carboplatin was used subcutaneously around the tumor 0.01 mg/g (weight) each day in Tca8113/CBP group while Tca8113 group was injected with physiologic saline as control. Mice were sacrificed 10 weeks after drug injection. The two kinds of tissues were investigated by human 16k cDNA v2.1 SBC-R-HC-100-21 gene chip. Results:Among the 16 000 target genes, there were 719 genes whose expression levels showed differences between the two kinds of tumor tissues. Conclusion:Microarray technique can simultaneously screen different genes from above-mentioned two kinds of tissues. Further analysis of the obtained genes will be helpful to understand the molecular mechanism of multidrug resistance.
