Objective To investigate the changes of residual radioactivity at different time points after 131I treatment in the patients with differentiated thyroid cancer(DTC)and influencing factors.Methods A to-tal of 235 patients with DTC receiving 131I treatment in this hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were se-lected as the study subjects and divided into the high dose group(＞5.55 GBp,n=56)and low dose group(≤5.55 GBp,n=179)according to the treatment dose.The clinical data of the two groups were collected and the changes of residual radioactivity after 131I treatment were compared between the two groups.The binary re-gression was used to analyze its influencing factors.Results The sex,age,BMI,basic metabolic rate(BMR)and serum thyroglobulin antibody(TgAb)had no statistical differences between the two groups(P＞0.05).The proportions of serum thyroglobulin(TG)＜1 ng/mL,131I first time treatment and residual thyroid ratio prompted by the whole body 131I scan after treatment in the low dose group were significantly higher than those in the high dose group(P＜0.05).The residual radioactivity in the two groups was significantly de-creased with time extension.The residual radioactivity at 24,48,72 h after treatment in the low dose group was significantly lower than that in the high dose group(P＜0.05).The binary logistic regression analysis re-sults showed that the T stage and treatment dose were the influencing factors of residual radioactivity after 131I treatment.Conclusion The residual radioactivity after 131I treatment in the patients with DTC shows the significant decreasing trend with time extension,this change trend has an active significance for further opti-mizing and perfecting the isolation and protection scheme.For the patients with high T stage and big treat-ment dose,the isolation time should exceed 72 h.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Huangqi Danggui Compound Decoction(mainly composed of Astragali Radix,Angelicae Sinensis Radix,etc.)combined with Shi's Acupuncture Therapy in the treatment of postpartum low back pain due of qi and blood depletion type.Methods A total of 138 patients diagnosed with postpartum low back pain from March 2021 to February 2024 in the outpatient and inpatient departments of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University of Chinese Medicine were selected as the study subjects.The patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table,with 69 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Ibuprofen Sustained-Release Capsules combined with Shi's Acupuncture Therapy,while the observation group was additionally treated with Astragalus and Angelica Compound Decoction on the basis of the control group's treatment.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.After treatment,the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated.The changes in Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores before and after treatment,as well as the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale scores,were observed.The changes in follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),and estradiol(E2)levels were compared before and after treatment,and the safety and incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were evaluated.Results(1)The total effective rate in the observation group was 92.75%(64/69),while it was 79.71%(55/69)in the control group.The efficacy of the observation group was superior to that of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).(2)After treatment,the ODI and VAS scores of both groups were significantly improved(P＜0.05),and the observation group showed significantly better improvement in ODI and VAS scores compared to the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).(3)After treatment,the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale scores of both groups improved significantly(P＜0.05),and the observation group showed significantly better improvement in SF-36 scores compared to the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).(4)After treatment,the FSH,LH,and E2 levels in the observation group were significantly improved(P＜0.05),and the observation group showed significantly better improvement in FSH,LH,and E2 levels compared to the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).In the control group,the FSH,LH,and E2 levels improved slightly,but there was no statistically significant difference compared to before treatment(P＞0.05).(5)There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P＞0.05).Conclusion Huangqi Danggui Compound Decoction combined with Shi's Acupuncture Therapy in the treatment of postpartum low back pain due to qi and blood depletion can significantly alleviate pain symptoms,improve lumbar function,regulate sex hormone levels,and enhance the quality of life of patients,with significant efficacy and good safety.

Objective To discuss the factors influencing the occurrence of frailty in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)after receiving interventional treatment,and to construct a prediction model,to draw a nomogram,and to make the validation of the model.Methods Using convenient sampling method,a total of 462 patients with AMI,who were admitted to the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of three Grade Ⅲ-A hospitals in Shandong Province of China from July 2023 to January 2024,were selected as the study subjects.Among them,324 AMI patients encountered from July 2023 to November 2023 were selected as modeling group,and logistic regression was used to construct a risk prediction model and draw a nomogram to visualize the model.The remaining 138 AMI patients encountered from December 2023 to January 2024 were used as the validation group.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and Hosmer-Lemeshow testing were adopted to verify the predictive effect of the model.Results Of 324 patients in the modeling group,170(52.47％)developed frailty.Univariate analysis showed that significant differences in age,education level,body mass index(BMI),Charlson comorbidity index,grip strength,walking speed,brain natriuretic peptide precursor level,physical exercise,multiple medication,and kinesophobia existed between the two groups(all P＜0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that age,BMI,Charlson comorbidity index,grip strength,walking speed,NT-ProBNP precursor level,physical exercise,multiple medication,and kinesophobia were the influencing factors of frailty in patients with AMI after receiving interventional treatment,with an OR value of 1.061,0.630,1.529,0.931,0.005,0.358,1.783,2.929,and 0.497 respectively.The above nine factors were used as independent variables to draw the nomogram,the area under ROC curve of the model was 0.851(95％CI:0.809-0.892),the optimal critical value was 0.562,the sensitivity was 84.1％,and the specificity was 72.1％.Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness of fit testing showed that the model had anx2=12.957 and P=0.113.Conclusion The frailty condition of AMI patients after receiving interventional treatment is at a low to medium levels.The frailty risk prediction model constructed in this study has good prediction effect,which can provide guidance for clinical nurses to timely identify high-risk patients and to promptly adopt interventional measures.

Background Some occupational asthma patients have a high risk of poor prognosis, and early assessment and screening of the high-risk groups with poor prognosis are crucial. Objective To evaluate the prognostic value of serum histone deacetylase 2 (HDAC2) and soluble suppression of tumorigenicity 2 (sST2) in occupational asthma patients. Methods An occupational asthma group containing 100 occupational asthma patients admitted to Baodi District People's Hospital of Tianjin between March 2020 and March 2023 were divided into a mild group of 38 cases, a moderate group of 40 cases, and a severe group of 22 cases, and re-divided into a good prognosis group of 66 cases and a poor prognosis group of 34 cases. During the same period, 98 ordinary asthma patients were recruited as the ordinary asthma group and 98 healthy individuals as the healthy control group. A multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to investigate the relationships of prognosis with HDAC2, sST2, patients separated from allergen after diagnosis, age, body mass index (BMI), gender, smoking history, years of work, family history of asthma, allergy history, good medication adherence, regular follow-up visits. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate potential predictive value of serum HDAC2 and sST2, and Z-test was used to compare the area under the curve (AUC). Results The serum HDAC2 concentration [(11.13±2.26) ng·L⁻¹] in the occupational asthma group was lower than that in the ordinary asthma group and the healthy control group [(16.72±3.15), (22.75±4.92) ng·L⁻¹], while the sST2 concentration [(16.64±3.47) ng·L⁻¹] in the occupational asthma group was lower than that in the ordinary asthma group and the healthy control group [(12.49±2.31), (9.04±1.98) ng·L⁻¹] (F=256.623, 201.091; P<0.05). The serum HDAC2 concentration [(7.60±1.67) ng·L⁻¹] in the severe group was lower than that in the moderate and the mild groups [(10.02±2.35), (14.34±3.88) ng·L⁻¹], while the sST2 concentration [(24.65±6.31) ng·L⁻¹] in the severe group was lower than that in the moderate and the mild groups [(16.88±3.50), (11.75±3.09) ng·L⁻¹](F=41.731, 67.564; P<0.05). The serum HDAC2 and the proportion of patients separated from allergen after diagnosis in the poor prognosis group were lower than those in the good prognosis group [(8.19±1.94) vs (12.64±3.29) ng·L⁻¹, 64.71% vs 93.94%], and the serum sST2 in the poor prognosis group was higher than that in the good prognosis group [(21.67±5.86) vs (14.05±3.62) ng·L⁻¹] (t/χ²=7.253, 12.177, 8.020; P<0.05). HDAC2 and sST2 were associated with poor 6-month prognosis in the occupational asthma patients (P<0.05). The AUCs for predicting poor prognosis in the occupational asthma patients by serum HDAC2 and sST2 concentrations alone and in combination were 0.826, 0.838, and 0.902, respectively. Conclusion The serum HDAC2 concentration decreases and the sST2 concentration increases in patients with occupational asthma, and these two indicators may have important predictive value for poor disease prognosis.

Following the principles of evidence-based medicine,in accordance with the structure and drafting rules of standardized documents,based on literature research,according to the characteristics of chronic cough in children and issues that need to form a consensus,the TCM Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Cough in Children was formulated based on the Delphi method,expert discussion meetings,and public solicitation of opinions.The guideline includes scope of application,terms and definitions,eti-ology and diagnosis,auxiliary examination,treatment,prevention and care.The aim is to clarify the optimal treatment plan of Chinese medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease,and to provide guidance for improving the clinical diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough in children with Chinese medicine.

Objective:To explore the effects of early debridement and conservative eschar removal followed by wound coverage with acellular dermal matrix (ADM), i.e., early surgery, in the treatment of children with deep burns.Methods:This study was a retrospective cohort study. From January 2017 to December 2022, 278 deep burned hospitalized children aged 1-7 years who met the inclusion criteria were admitted to Central Hospital Affiliated to Shandong First Medical University. According to the differences in treatment processes, 134 children who underwent early surgery+routine dressing change were enrolled in eschar removal+dressing change group (77 males and 57 females, aged 1 (1, 2) years), and 144 children who underwent only routine dressing change were enrolled in dressing change alone group (90 males and 54 females, aged 1 (1, 2) years). Fifty-one children without full-thickness burns in eschar removal+dressing change group were enrolled in eschar removal+dressing change group 1 (26 males and 25 females, aged 1 (1, 2) years), and 57 cases of the 83 children with full-thickness burns who did not undergo autologous skin grafting at the same time of early surgery (namely early skin grafting) in eschar removal+dressing change group were included in eschar removal+dressing change group 2 (37 males and 20 females, aged 1 (1, 2) years). Seventy-six children without full-thickness burns in dressing change alone group were included in dressing change alone group 1 (51 males and 25 females, aged 1 (1, 3) years), and 68 children with full-thickness burns in dressing change alone group were included in dressing change alone group 2 (39 males and 29 females, aged 1 (1, 2) years). For deep partial-thickness burn wounds and small full-thickness burn wounds in eschar removal+dressing change group, the eschar removal was performed on the basis of retaining a thin layer of denatured dermis so as to preserve the healthy tissue of the wound base, and ADM was applied to all wounds externally after eschar removal. For larger full-thickness burn wounds in this group, especially those located in the functional part of joints, eschar removal to the plane layer of viable tissue and early autologous skin grafting was needed. When the superficial wounds of children healed or tended to heal, the residual wounds were evaluated, and elective autologous skin grafting was performed if it was difficult to heal within 14 days. The healing time, intervention healing time, times of operation/dressing change, and times of intervention operation/dressing change in children with deep partial-thickness burn wounds of children in eschar removal+dressing change group, dressing change alone group, eschar removal+dressing change group 1, and dressing change alone group 1 were recorded. At the last follow-up (follow-up period was set to 7-12 months), the modified Vancouver scar scale (mVSS) scores of the most severe area of scar hyperplasia of healed deep partial-thickness burn wounds of 54 children in eschar removal+dressing change group and 48 children in dressing change alone group were recorded. The healing time and times of operation/dressing change of all burn wounds of children in eschar removal+dressing change group and dressing change alone group, and the healing time and times of operation/dressing change of full-thickness burn wounds of children in eschar removal+dressing change group 2 and dressing change alone group 2 were recorded. The incidences of wound infection, sepsis, fever, and fever after 5 days of burns in children of eschar removal+dressing change group and dressing change alone group during wound healing.Results:Compared with those in dressing change alone group, the healing time and intervention healing time were significantly shortened, and the times of operation/dressing change and times of intervention operation/dressing change were significantly reduced in children with deep partial-thickness burn wounds in eschar removal+dressing change group (with Z values of -11.00, -11.33, -12.64, and -11.65, respectively, P<0.05). Compared with those in dressing change alone group 1, the healing time and intervention healing time were significantly shortened, and the times of operation/dressing change and times of intervention operation/dressing change were significantly reduced in children with deep partial-thickness burn wounds in eschar removal+dressing change group 1 (with Z values of 6.57, 6.46, 8.04, and 6.57, respectively, P<0.05). At the last follow-up, the mVSS score of the most severe scar hyperplasia area of healed deep partial-thickness burn wounds of 54 children in eschar removal+dressing change group was 4.00 (3.00,5.00), which was significantly lower than 6.50 (5.00,7.00) of 48 children in dressing change alone group ( Z =-4.67, P<0.05).Compared with those in dressing change alone group, the healing time was significantly shortened, and times of operation/dressing change was significantly reduced in all burn wounds in eschar removal+dressing change group (with Z values of -5.20 and -6.34, respectively, P<0.05). Compared with those in dressing change alone group 2, the healing time was significantly shortened, and times of operation/dressing change was significantly reduced in full-thickness burn wounds in eschar removal+dressing change group 2 (with Z values of -5.22 and -5.73, respectively, P<0.05). During wound healing, the probabilities of fever and fever after 5 days of burns in children of eschar removal+dressing change group were significantly lower than those in dressing change alone group (with χ2 values of 4.13 and 3.91, respectively, P<0.05); only 1 child in dressing change alone group developed sepsis, and there was no statistically significant difference in the wound infection rate of children in the two groups ( P>0.05). Conclusions:For children with deep burns, early surgery, and early skin grafting or elective autologous skin grafting as needed, have better short-term and long-term effects than those without early surgery.

Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics of 130 children with severe SARS-CoV-2 infection in Yunnan province after the relaxation of non-pharmaceutical interventions, and analyze the risk factors for mortality.Methods:This study is a retrospective case summary that analyzed the demographic data, underlying diseases, clinical diagnoses, disease outcomes, and laboratory results of 130 children with severe COVID-19 infections admitted to nine top-tier hospitals in Yunnan Province from December 2022 to March 2023. According to the prognosis, the patients were divided into survival group and death group. The clinical and laboratory data between the two groups were compared, and the risk factors of death were evaluated. The χ2 test and Mann-Whitney U test were employed to compare between groups, while Spearman correlation test and multiple Logistic regression were used to analyze the risk factors for death. The predictive value of independent risk factors was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic curve. Results:The 130 severe patients included 80 males and 50 females with an onset age of 28.0 (4.5, 79.5) months. There were 97 cases in the survival group and 33 cases in the death group with no significant differences in gender and age between the two groups ( P>0.05). Twenty-five cases (19.2%) out of the 130 patients had underlying diseases, and the number with underlying diseases was significantly higher in death group than in survival group (36.4% (12/33) vs. 13.4%(13/97), χ2=8.36, P=0.004). The vaccination rate in the survival group was significantly higher than that in the death group (86.1% (31/36) vs. 7/17, χ2=9.38, P=0.002). A total of 42 cases (32.3%) of the 130 patients were detected to be infected with other pathogens, but there was no significant difference in the incidence of co-infection between the death group and the survival group (39.3%(13/33) vs. 29.9% (29/97), χ2=1.02, P>0.05). Among the 130 cases, severe respiratory cases were the most common 66 cases (50.8%), followed by neurological severe illnesses 34 cases (26.2%) and circulatory severe 13 cases (10%). Compared to the survival group, patients in the death group had a significantly higher levels of neutrophil, ferritin, procalcitonin, alanine aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase, creatine kinase isoenzyme, B-type natriuretic peptide, interleukin-6 and 10 (6.7 (4.0, 14.0) vs. 3.0 (1.6, 7.0)×10 9/L, 479 (298, 594) vs. 268 (124, 424) μg/L, 4.8 (1.7, 10.6) vs. 2.0 (1.1, 3.1) μg/L, 66 (20, 258) vs. 23 (15, 49) U/L, 464 (311, 815) vs. 304 (252, 388) g/L, 71(52, 110) vs. 24(15, 48) U/L, 484 (160, 804) vs. 154 (26, 440) ng/L, 43 (23, 102) vs. 19 (13, 27) ng/L, 216 (114, 318) vs. 86 (45, 128) ng/L, Z=-4.21, -3.67, -3.76, -3.31, -3.75, -5.74, -3.55, -4.65, -5.86, all P<0.05). The correlated indexes were performed by multivariate Logistic regression and the results showed that vaccination was a protective factor from death in severe cases ( OR=0.01, 95% CI 0-0.97, P=0.049) while pediatric sequential organ failure assessment (PSOFA) ( OR=3.31, 95% CI 1.47-7.47, P=0.004), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) ( OR=1.56, 95% CI 1.05-2.32, P=0.029) and D dimer ( OR=1.49, 95% CI 1.00-1.02, P=0.033) were independent risk factors for death (all P<0.05). The area under the curve of the three independent risk factors for predicting death were 0.86 (95% CI 0.79-0.94), 0.89 (95% CI 0.84-0.95) and 0.87 (95% CI 0.80-0.94), all P<0.001, and the cut-off values were 4.50, 3.66 and 4.69 mg/L, respectively. Conclusions:Severe SARS-CoV-2 infection can occur in children of all ages, primarily affecting the respiratory system, but can also infect the nervous system, circulatory system or other systems. Children who died had more severe inflammation, tissue damage and coagulation disorders. The elevations of PSOFA, NLR and D dimer were independent risk factors for death in severe children.

Objective:To analyze the influence factors on the efficacy of immunosuppression therapy (IST) combined with eltrombopag and IST alone in the treatment of childhood severe aplastic anemia (SAA).Methods:A retrospective cohort study. A total of 124 children with SAA who were initially treated with IST at Beijing Children′s Hospital from March 2017 to May 2020 were enrolled. Clinical characteristics, laboratory examination and prognosis data were collected at the time of enrollment. According to the treatment plan, the children were divided into the eltrombopag combined with IST group (eltrombopag group) and the IST group. Binary Logistic regression model was used to analyze the factors affecting the efficacy of the two groups at 6 months of treatment, and the factors affecting the efficacy of the eltrombopag group at the end of follow-up.Results:There were 75 cases (45 males and 30 females) in the eltrombopag group. The age of diagnosis was 5.9 (3.5, 8.5) years. There were 49 patients in the IST group, including 23 males and 26 females, whose age at diagnosis was 6.2 (4.4, 8.8) years. The absolute lymphocyte count before treatment in the eltrombopag group was significantly lower than that in the IST group (1.1 (0.4, 1.6)×10 9vs. 2.1 (1.4, 2.8)×10 9/L). Absolute reticulocyte count in the eltrombopag group was significantly higher than that of IST group (26.9 (8.7, 54.2)×10 9vs. 9.5 (4.0, 19.0)×10 9/L) (both P<0.05). Influencing factors of 6-month response: a comparison between response and un-response groups in the eltrombopag treated patients showed that, before treatment, hemoglobin (69 (61, 78) vs. 64 (59, 68) g/L), platelet (10 (6, 16)×10 9vs. 6 (3, 8)×10 9/L), absolute reticulocyte count (ARC) (34.0 (15.8, 57.3)×10 9vs. 6.5 (4.6, 16.8)×10 9/L) and the response rate to granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) after treatment (82.4% (47/57) vs. 9/18) were significantly different (all P<0.05). Logistic regression model analysis showed that ARC ( OR=1.09, 95% CI 1.02-1.18) and absolute neutrophil count were independent influencing factors of 6-month response rate in the eltrombopag group ( OR=0.00, 95% CI 0.00-0.89). ARC was also the independent influencing factors of the end of follow-up response rate in the eltrombopag group ( OR=1.04, 95% CI 1.01-1.07). Conclusions:Pre-treatment blood count and response to G-CSF were predictors of overall response to eltrombopag combined with IST. The higher the ARC before treatment, the higher the total response rate and complete response.

Purpose To explore the influence of different spin-locking frequencies on T1ρ values based on a 3.0T MR system.Materials and Methods Thirty-eight healthy adult volunteers underwent cardiac magnetic resonance imaging at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from July to September 2023.T1ρ mapping and short-axis cine imaging with steady-state free precession sequences were performed with 3.0T MR system.T1ρ mapping sequence in three short-axis slices with three spin-lock frequencies at the amplitude of 5 Hz,300 Hz,400 Hz,and 500 Hz was scanned,respectively.T1ρ relaxation times and myocardial fibrosis index were quantified for each slice and each myocardial segment,the difference in T1ρ of different spin-locking frequencies and myocardial fibrosis index was analyzed using one-way repeated-measures analysis of variance method.Results T1ρ of 5 Hz,300 Hz,400 Hz,and 500 Hz were(33.9±2.8)ms,(43.4±2.1)ms,(45.4±2.6)ms and(46.5±2.4)ms,respectively;and T1ρ values showed a significant progressive increase from the low spin-lock frequency to the high spin-lock frequency of the heart(300 Hz vs.400 Hz:P<0.001;300 Hz vs.500 Hz:P<0.001;400 Hz vs.500 Hz:P=0.043).In addition,the measured myocardial fibrosis index at 300 Hz,400 Hz and 500 Hz were(9.4±2.2)ms,(11.3±2.9)ms and(12.6±2.7)ms,respectively.Statistical analysis underscored significant variations among these measurements(300 Hz vs.400 Hz:P<0.001;300 Hz vs.500 Hz:P<0.001;400 Hz vs.500 Hz:P=0.033).Conclusion In this prospective study,myocardial T1ρ values for the specific cardiac magnetic resonance setting are provided,and we found that spin-lock frequency can affect the T1ρ values.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and underlying mechanism of Qishishenshu Capsule on renal fibrosis in mice with early diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods A DN mouse model was established by multiple injections of streptozotocin.The mice were randomly divided into a normal group(NC),model group(DN),and Qishi group(QS)(0.9 g/(kg·d)),with eight mice in each group.Mice were gavaged continuously for 4 weeks,and fasting blood glucose(FBG)was measured weekly.Four weeks later,urinary albumin/creatinine(UACR),serum creatinine,and blood urea nitrogen were measured.Hematoxylin-eosin,periodicacid-Schiff,and Sirius red staining were used to analyze renal pathological changes.Real-time fluorescence quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the mRNA levels of fibronectin(FN),collagen type Ⅰ alpha 1(Col1a1),and α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA).Immunohistochemistry and Western blot were performed to detect FN,collagen type Ⅰ(Collagen Ⅰ),collagen typeⅢ(Collagen Ⅲ),α-SMA,Podocin,Nephrin,and transforming growth factor-β1/SMAD family member2/3(TGF-β1/Smad2/3)pathway-related proteins.Results Compared with mice in the NC group,those in the DN group showed significantly higher levels of FBG and UACR(P＜0.001),and mesangial hyperplasia,basement membrane thickening,and collagen deposition in the renal tissue.The mRNA levels of FN,Col1a1,and α-SMA were increased(P＜0.05).Protein levels of Podocin and Nephrin were decreased(P＜0.05).The levels of FN,Collagen I,Collagen Ⅲ,α-SMA,and TGF-β1/Smad2/3 pathway proteins were increased(P＜0.05).Compared with the DN group,the QS group's level of UACR was decreased(P＜0.05),their renal pathological injury was alleviated,and mRNA levels of FN,Collagen Ⅰ,andα-SMA were attenuated(P＜0.05);whereas their protein levels of Podocin and Nephrin were elevated(P＜0.05).The levels of FN,Collagen Ⅰ,Collagen Ⅲ,α-SMA,and TGF-β1/Smad2/3 pathway proteins were also decreased(P＜0.05).Conclusions Qishishenshu Capsule improved renal fibrosis in DN mice,probably through the inhibition of the TGF-β1/Smad2/3 signaling pathway.
