BackgroundDepression is a prevalent emotional problem in adolescents， and parental psychological control is an important predictor of adolescent depression. However， existing research on the acting mechanism between the two is not adequate. ObjectiveTo explore the pathway of negative perfectionism and academic stress between parental psychological control and depressive symptoms among secondary school students， so as to provide references for reducing the incidence risk of depression in such population. MethodsFrom February to April 2023， 1 100 students across 2 middle schools and 2 high schools in Zhongshan city were selected as subjects. The survey was conducted adopting Parental Psychological Control Questionnaire， Chinese Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale （CFMPS）， sense of academic stress subscale in Mental Health Inventory of Middle School Student （MMHI-60） and Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression Scale （CES-D）. Spearman correlation analysis was adopted to examine the correlation between scores of all scales above， and Amos 24.0 was used to test the mediating path of negative perfectionism and academic stress between parental psychological control and depressive symptoms among secondary school students. ResultsAmong the 1 009 valid questionnaires withdrew （91.73% of the total）， 261 students were detected to have depressive symptoms （25.87%）. As the results of Spearman correlation analysis showed， the scores of the Parental Psychological Control Questionnaire， score of negative perfectionism dimension in CFMPS， score of sense of academic stress subscale in MMHI-60 and CES-D score were positively correlated with each other （r=0.323~0.644， P<0.05 or 0.01）. The direct effect value of parental psychological control on depressive symptoms in secondary school students was 0.128 （95% CI： 0.061~0.201）， accounting for 31.37% of the total effect. Negative perfectionism and academic stress played independently as intermediatory roles between parental psychological control and depressive symptoms in secondary school students， and the indirect effect values were 0.099 （95% CI： 0.068~0.133） and 0.100 （95% CI： 0.060~0.143）， accounting for 24.27% and 24.51% of the total effect， respectively. Negative perfectionism and academic stress acted combinedly as the chain effect pathway between parental psychological control and depressve symptoms in secondary school students， with the indirect effect value of 0.081 （95% CI： 0.060~0.106） accounting for 19.85% of the total effect. ConclusionParental psychological control can affect the depressive symptoms among secondary school students directly， and through independent or chain paths of negative perfectionism and academic stress indirectly. ［Funded by Zhongshan Social Welfare Technology Research Project （number， 2022B1060）］

ObjectiveTo explore the clinical safety of Feilike Mixture （FLK） in the real world. MethodsThe safety of all children who received FLK from 29 institutions in 12 provinces between January 21，2021 and December 25，2021 was evaluated through prospective centralized surveillance and a nested case control study. ResultsA total of 3 035 juveniles were included. There were 29 research centers involved，which are distributed across 12 provinces，including one traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） hospital and 28 general hospitals. The average age among the juveniles was （4.77±3.56） years old，and the average weight was （21.81±12.97） kg. Among them，119 cases （3.92%） of juveniles had a history of allergies. Acute bronchitis was the main diagnosis for juveniles，with 1 656 cases （54.46%）. FLK was first used in 2 016 cases （66.43%），and 142 juvenile patients had special dosages，accounting for 4.68%. Among them，92 adverse drug reactions （ADRs） occurred，including 73 cases of gastrointestinal system disorders，10 cases of metabolic and nutritional disorders，eight cases of skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases，two cases of vascular and lymphatic disorders，and one case of systemic diseases and various reactions at the administration site. The manifestations of ADRs were mainly diarrhea，stool discoloration，and vomiting，and no serious ADRs occurred. The results of multi-factor analysis indicated that special dosages （the use of FLK）［odds ratio （OR） of 2.642， 95% confidence interval （CI） of 1.105-6.323］，combined administration： spleen aminopeptide （OR of 4.978， 95%CI of 1.200-20.655），and reason for combined administration： anti-infection （OR of 1.814， 95%CI of 1.071-3.075） were the risk factors for ADRs caused by FLK. Conclusion92 ADRs occurred among 3 035 juveniles using FLK. The incidence of ADRs caused by FLK was 3.03%，and the severity was mainly mild or moderate. Generally，the prognosis was favorable after symptomatic treatment such as drug withdrawal or dosage reduction，suggesting that FLK has good clinical safety.

BACKGROUND: Currently, lung cancer is one of the malignant tumors with a high morbidity and mortality all over the world. However, the exact mechanisms underlying lung cancer progression remain unclear. The tumor necrosis factor receptor associated factor (TRAF) family members are cytoplasmic adaptor proteins, which function as both adaptor proteins and ubiquitin ligases to regulate diverse receptor signalings, leading to the activation of nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB), mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and interferon regulatory factor (IRF) signaling. The aim of this study was to investigate the expression of TRAFs in different tissues and cancer types, as well as its mRNA expression, protein expression, prognostic significance and functional enrichment analysis in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), in order to provide new strategies for the diagnosis and treatment of NSCLC. METHODS: RNA sequencing data from the The Genotype-Tissue Expression database was used to analyze the expression patterns of TRAF family members in different human tissues. RNA sequencing data from the Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia database was used to analyze the expression patterns of TRAF family members in different types of cancer cell lines. RNA sequencing data from the The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database was used to analyze the mRNA levels of TRAF family members across different types of human cancers. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyses from HPA database were used to analyze the TRAF protein levels in NSCLC [lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and lung squamous carcinoma (LUSC)]. Overall survival analysis was performed by Log-rank test using original data from Kaplan-Meier Plotter database to evaluate the correlation between TRAF expressions and prognosis. Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analyses were performed on the TRAF family-related genes using RNA sequencing data from the TCGA database for NSCLC. The correlation between the expression levels of TRAF family members and the tumor immune microenvironment was analyzed using the ESTIMATE algorithm based on RNA sequencing data from the TCGA database. RESULTS: The TRAF family members exhibited significant tissue-specific expression heterogeneity. TRAF2, TRAF3, TRAF6 and TRAF7 were widely expressed in most tissues, while the expressions of TRAF1, TRAF4 and TRAF5 were restricted to specific tissues. The expressions of TRAF family members were highly specific among different types of cancer cell lines. In mRNA database of LUAD and LUSC, the expressions of TRAF2, TRAF4, TRAF5 and TRAF7 were significantly upregulated; while TRAF6 did the opposite; moveover, TRAF1 and TRAF3 only displayed a significant upregulation in LUAD and LUSC, respectively. Except for TRAF3, TRAF4 and TRAF7, other TRAF proteins displayed an obviously deeper IHC staining in LUAD and LUSC tissues compared with normal tissues. Additionally, patients with higher expression levels of TRAF2, TRAF4 and TRAF7 had shorter overall survival; while patients with higher expression levels of TRAF3, TRAF5 and TRAF6 had significantly longer overall survival; however, no significant difference had been observed between TRAF1 expression and the overall survival. TRAF family members differentially regulated multiple pathways, including NF-κB, immune response, cell adhesion and RNA splicing. The expression levels of TRAF family members were closely associated with immune cell infiltration and stromal cell content in the tumor immune microenvironment, with varying positive and negative correlations among different members. CONCLUSIONS TRAF family members exhibit highly specific expression differences across different tissues and cancer types. Most TRAF proteins exhibit upregulation at both mRNA and protein levels in NSCLC, whereas, only upregulated expressions of TRAF2, TRAF4 and TRAF7 predict worse prognosis. The TRAF family members regulate processes such as inflammation, immunity, adhesion and splicing, and influence the tumor immune microenvironment.

Objective:To analyze the relationship between the optimal surgical margin value and clinical prognosis of transoral robotic surgery（TORS） in treating human papillomavirus（HPV） -positive oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma. Methods:A single-center, prospective, observational cohort study was conducted, enrolling patients with early and moderated stage（≤T3 stage） oropharyngeal carcinoma undergoing TORS between July 2020 and April 2024. The proposed optimal surgical margin cutoff value for TORS was set as 2 mm. The primary objectives were to evaluate the optimal clear margin for TORS and its association with overall survival（OS） and progression-free survival（PFS）. Logistic regression was used to analyze correlations between surgical margins and clinical variables, while Cox regression models assessed the impact of surgical margins on OS and PFS. Results:A total of 90 patients（60 males, 66.7%） were included, all had squamous cell carcinoma, with a mean age of 58.0±9.0 years（range: 39-84 years） old. The 1, 2 and 3-year OS rates were 92.3%, 89.9% and 85.0%, respectively, while the 1, 2 and 3-year PFS rates were all 90.1%. For surgical margins ≤2 mm, the 1, 2 and 3-year OS rates were 80.8%, 69.3% and 69.3%, respectively, and PFS rates were 77.9% across three time points. For surgical margins>2 mm, the 1, 2 and 3-year OS rates were 96.5%, 96.5% and 90.6%, respectively, with PFS rates of 94.6%. Logistic regression showed no correlation between surgical margins and tumor type, T/N stage, smoking, alcohol use, or gender（P>0.05）. Cox analysis identified surgical margins>2 mm as a significant factor improving PFS（HR=0.14, 95%CI 0.02-0.90, P=0.038）. Conclusion:This systematic analysis suggests setting a 2 mm and longer as clear surgical margin for TORS. Margins>2 mm are associated with superior postoperative PFS rate and prolonged PFS time in HPV-positive oropharyngeal carcinoma patients.

T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) is a highly aggressive hematologic malignancy with a poor prognosis, despite advancements in treatment. Many patients struggle with relapse or refractory disease. Investigating the role of the super-enhancer (SE) regulated gene ubiquitin-specific protease 20 (USP20) in T-ALL could enhance targeted therapies and improve clinical outcomes. Analysis of histone H3 lysine 27 acetylation (H3K27ac) chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq) data from six T-ALL cell lines and seven pediatric samples identified USP20 as an SE-regulated driver gene. Utilizing the Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia (CCLE) and BloodSpot databases, it was found that USP20 is specifically highly expressed in T-ALL. Knocking down USP20 with short hairpin RNA (shRNA) increased apoptosis and inhibited proliferation in T-ALL cells. In vivo studies showed that USP20 knockdown reduced tumor growth and improved survival. The USP20 inhibitor GSK2643943A demonstrated similar anti-tumor effects. Mass spectrometry, RNA-Seq, and immunoprecipitation revealed that USP20 interacted with hypoxia-inducible factor 1 subunit alpha (HIF1A) and stabilized it by deubiquitination. Cleavage under targets and tagmentation (CUT&Tag) results indicated that USP20 co-localized with HIF1A, jointly modulating target genes in T-ALL. This study identifies USP20 as a therapeutic target in T-ALL and suggests GSK2643943A as a potential treatment strategy.

OBJECTIVE: To develop a digital intelligent multimodal shift handover system for the intensive care unit (ICU) and evaluate its application effect in ICU shift handovers. METHODS: A research and development team was established, consisting of 1 department director, 1 head nurse, 3 information technology engineers, 3 nurses, and 2 doctors. Team members were assigned responsibilities including overall coordination and planning, platform design and maintenance, pre-application training, collection and organization of clinical feedback, and research investigation respectively. A digital intelligent multimodal shift handover system was developed for ICU based on the Shannon-Weaver linear transmission model. This innovative system integrated automated data collection, intelligent dynamic monitoring, multidimensional condition analysis and visual reporting functions. A cloud platform was used to gather data from multi-parameter vital signs monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators and other devices. Artificial intelligence algorithms were employed to standardize and analyze the data, providing personalized recommendations for healthcare professionals. A self-controlled before-after method was adopted. Before the application of the ICU digital intelligent multimodal shift handover system (from December 2023 to March 2024), the traditional verbal bedside handover was used; from June 2024 to March 2025, the ICU digital intelligent multimodal shift handover system was applied for shift handovers. Questionnaires before the application of the shift handover system were collected in April 2024, and those after the application were collected in April 2025. The shift handover time, handover quality (scored by the nursing handover evaluation scale), satisfaction with doctor-nurse communication (scored by the ICU doctor-nurse scale) before and after the application of the handover system were compared, and nurses' satisfaction with the shift handover system (scored by the clinical nursing information system effectiveness evaluation scale) was investigated. RESULTS: After the application of the ICU digital intelligent multimodal shift handover system, the shift handover time was significantly shorter than that before the application [minutes: 20 (15, 25) vs. 30 (22, 40)], the handover quality was significantly higher than that before the application [score: 84.0 (78.0, 88.5) vs. 71.0 (55.0, 79.0)], and the satisfaction with doctor-nurse communication was also significantly higher than that before the application (score: 84.58±6.79 vs. 74.50±11.30). All differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). In addition, the nurses' system effectiveness evaluation scale score was 102.30±10.56, which indicated that nurses had a very high level of satisfaction with the ICU digital intelligent multimodal shift handover system. CONCLUSIONS The application of the ICU digital intelligent multimodal shift handover system can shorten the shift handover time, improve the handover quality, and enhance the satisfaction with doctor-nurse communication. Nurses have a high level of satisfaction with this system.

OBJECTIVE To explore the mechanism of action of Fushao Diqin Decoction in the treatment of colorectal cancer.METHODS In vitro cell experiments were conducted using Fushao Diqin Decoction to treat colorectal cancer CT-26 cells,and the cell proliferation and migration abilities were detected.Flow cytometry was used to detect the levels of reactive oxygen species(ROS)in colorectal cancer CT-26 cells,as well as the levels of iron ions(Fe2+),malondialdehyde(MDA),and the activity of su-peroxide dismutase(SOD).PCR Array and Western blot methods were used to analyze and verify the differential gene expression of ferroptosis.Balb/c mice were randomly divided into a blank control group,a model group,an oxaliplatin group(1.5 mg·kg-1·d-1),a low-dose group of Fushao Diqin Decoction(4.49 g·kg-1·d-1),a medium dose group of Fushao Diqin Decoction(8.97 g·kg-1·d-1),and a high-dose group of Fushao Diqin Decoction(17.94 g·kg-1·d-1)for in vivo animal experi-ments.The effects of Fushao Diqin Decoction on Fe2+,ROS,MDA levels,SOD activity,and Nrf2,Keap1,SLC7A11 and GPX4 ex-pression levels in mouse tumor tissues were tested.RESULTS In vitro cell experiments showed that compared with the blank control group,Fushao Diqin Decoction significantly inhibited the proliferation and migration of colorectal cancer CT-26 cells in a dose-de-pendent manner.Fushao Diqin Decoction could increase the Fe2+content(P＜0.05)and ROS level(P＜0.01)in colorectal cancer CT-26 cells,increase the MDA level in CT-26 cells of colorectal cancer(P＜0.01)and significantly reduce SOD activity(P＜0.01).Iron death PCR array analysis found that compared with the blank control group,after intervention with Fushao Diqin Decoc-tion,the expression of genes GPX4 and SLC7A11 was significantly downregulated,while the expression of GSTA1,HMOX1,Ca9,Chac1,Keap1,Sqstm1,NOX1,FTH1,Tfr1,SAT2,Pparg,and Hamp was significantly upregulated.Western blot analysis revealed that after intervention with Fushao Diqin Decoction,the expression of Keap1 protein was upregulated(P＜0.01),while the expression of Nrf2,SLC7A11,and GPX4 proteins was downregulated(P＜0.01)in colorectal cancer CT-26 cells.The results of in vivo animal experiments showed that Fushao Diqin Decoction significantly inhibited the growth of subcutaneous transplanted tumors in mice(P＜0.05),increased the degree of tumor tissue necrosis,and levels of Fe2+,ROS,and MDA(P＜0.05,P＜0.01),decreased SOD ac-tivity(P＜0.01)and upregulated Keap1 protein expression(P＜0.01),while downregulated Nrf2,SLC7A11,and GPX4 protein ex-pression(P＜0.01).CONCLUSION Fushao Diqin Decoction has an anti-colorectal cancer effect and may promote ferroptosis in colorectal cancer cells by inhibiting the Nrf2/SLC7A11/GPX4 signaling pathway to exert its anti-colorectal cancer effect.

Based on the compound pathogenesis theory of malignant tumor,this article combines the theories of positive-evil,yin-yang,and central qi theories with the theory of cancer toxin,pointing out that the deficiency of positive and excess of evil are the basis for the onset of tumors.The pathogenesis characteristics of tumors are the loss of both yin and yang,stagnation of qi,and cancer toxin deeply lurking.The paper believes that the loss of both yin and yang often originates from the spleen and kidney,stagnation of qi is first blamed on the spleen and stomach,and cancer toxin deeply lurking often accompanies multiple evil qi.Based on this,the detoxi-cation method of warming and nourishing is proposed to treat malignant tumors.It is the combination or sequential application of the three methods of warming,nourishing,and detoxification,which play the role of warming and nourishing together,harmonizing yin and yang;promoting the circulation of qi,relieving depression,and regulating emotions;eliminating cancer and toxin,and breaking the combined evil.

Objective:To evaluate the objective response rate (ORR) of induction chemoimmunotherapy with camrelizumab plus TPF (docetaxel, cisplatin, and capecitabine) for locally advanced hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LA HSCC) and potential predictive factors for ORR.Methods:A single-center, prospective, phase 2 and single-arm trial was conducted for evaluating antitumor activity of camrelizumab+TPF(docetaxel+cisplatin+capecitabine) for LA HSCC between May 21, 2021 and April 15, 2023, patients admitted to the Eye & ENT Hospital affiliated with Fudan University. The primary endpoint was ORR, and enrolled patients with LA HSCC at T3-4N0-3M0 received induction chemoimmunotherapy for three cycles: camrelizumab 200 mg day 1, docetaxel 75 mg/m 2 day 1, cisplatin 25 mg/m 2 days 1-3, and capecitabine 800 mg/m 2 days 1-14. Patients were assigned to radioimmunotherapy when they had complete response or partial response (PR)>70% (Group A), or assigned to surgery plus adjuvant radiotherapy/chemoradiotherapy when they had PR≤70% (Group B), and the responses were defined by using tumor volume evaluation system. Tumor diameter was also used to assess the treatment responses by Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) version 1.1. Use SPSS 23.0 software was used to analyze the data. Results:A total of 51 patients were enrolled who underwent the induced chemoimmunotherapy for three cycles, and all were males, aged 35-69 years old. After three cycles of induction immunochemotherapy, 42 (82.4%) patients existed in Group A (complete response or PR>70%) and 9 patients (17.6%) in Group B (PR≤70%), the ORR was 82.4%. The primary endpoint achieved expected main research objectives. Compared to the patients of Group A, the patients of Group B showed the higher T stage and the larger volume of primary tumor before induced immunochemotherapy, and also had the less regression of tumor volume after induced immunochemotherapy (all P<0.05). The optimal cutoff value of pre-treatment tumor volume for predicting ORR was 39 cm 3. The T stage ( OR=12.71, 95% CI: 1.4-112.5, P=0.022) and the volume ( OR=7.1, 95% CI: 1.4-36.8, P=0.018) of primary tumor were the two main factors affecting ORR rate of induction chemoimmunotherapy. Conclusion:The induction chemoimmunotherapy with camrelizumab plus TPF shows an encouraging antitumor efficacy in LA HSCC.

Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) is a serious disease commonly encountered in the emergency department and can precipitate systemic inflammatory response syndrome and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome with high morbidity and mortality. However, its etiology and pathogenesis are complex and have not been fully elucidated. Clinical studies can provide some data on the etiology, pathophysiology, and outcome associated with the disease. However, research on SAP cannot be carried out in humans directly for ethical considerations. It is very important to establish an appropriate animal model of SAP to elucidate its pathogenesis and seek innovative therapeutic methods. In this paper, we reviewed the latest research progress at home and abroad in animal models of SAP over the past several years.
