ObjectiveTo describe the disposal process of the first imported case of Zika virus disease in Shanghai, and to provide a reference for the prevention and control of imported infectious diseases in the future. MethodsA retrospective review was conducted of the process by which epidemiological investigation, etiological testing, and case management were performed by the Shanghai municipal-and district-level Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) after one imported case of Zika virus disease was identified by Shanghai Customs. ResultsOn April 8th, 2025, customs authority at a certain airport in Shanghai identified a febrile inbound case (case A, female, 40 years old). An antecubital venous blood specimen was obtained and analyzed by nucleic acid testing for various vector-borne pathogens, by which Zika virus nucleic acid was found to be positive. On 9 April, the district CDC collected antecubital venous blood specimens again from Case A and her three accompanying travelers (B, C, and D), and nucleic acid testing was conducted for multiple mosquito-borne infectious diseases. Case A again tested positive for Zika virus nucleic acid, while Traveler D (male, aged 6 years) tested positive for dengue virus nucleic acid. The other two travelers tested negative. Case A and Traveler D were subsequently transferred to a designated district hospital for isolation and treatment. After discharge, both cases left China and returned to their overseas residence. ConclusionCase A was the first imported case of Zika virus disease in Shanghai. For cases with a history of living in endemic areas of multiple infectious diseases such as dengue virus, Zika virus and chikungunya virus, it is necessary to carry out rapid testing of multiple pathogens simultaneously to prevent missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis.

Central nervous system(CNS)degenerative disorders refer to a spectrum of pathological alterations triggered by struc-tural damage to cerebral neural tissues, clinically manifested as diverse neurological dysfunction syndromes, including multiple sclerosis(MS),neurodegenerative diseases(NDs),and ische-mic stroke. The hallmark pathological features of these disorders involve irreversible neuronal damage and decompensation of functional neural networks, ultimately leading to progressive neurological deficits.Notably, with the accelerating global popu-lation aging, the incidence of these diseases has surged signifi-cantly.According to WHO statistics, they now rank among the top three global causes of disability and mortality.Current re-search has confirmed that the pathogenesis of CNS degenerative disorders exhibits high heterogeneity, encompassing multifaceted pathophysiological processes such as genetic predisposition,oxi-dative stress, protein misfolding, and metabolic dysregulation. This intricate pathogenic network not only complicates clinical differential diagnosis but also poses substantial challenges to the development of precision therapeutic strategies.Importantly,re-cent studies have revealed that mitochondrial homeostasis disrup-tion-induced inflammatory cascades(termed mitochondrial in-flammation)play a pivotal regulatory role in neurodegenerative progression.Key molecular mechanisms include impaired mito-phagy,aberrant mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)release and NL-RP3 inflammasome activation. This review systematically deci-phers the molecular regulatory network of mitochondrial inflam-mation,with a focus on its biological effects in critical pathologi-cal events such as blood-brain barrier disruption, microglial hy-peractivation and neuronal apoptosis. The overarching aim is to provide a theoretical foundation for developing innovative thera-peutic strategies targeting mitochondrial homeostasis restoration.

Objective:To investigate the effect of FOXQ1 expression on chemoresistance in colorectal cancer and analyze its regulatory role in SIRT1 expression and p53 deacetylation under DNA damage response(DDR)condi-tions.Methods:qRT-PCR was used to detect FOXQ1 mRNA expression levels in SW620 cells and SW620 cells stimulated with cisplatin(CDDP).Lentiviral vectors were constructed for FOXQ1 overexpression and RNA interference. The cells were divided into three groups:FOXQ1 overexpression group(oe-FOXQ1),FOXQ1 RNA interference group(sh-FOXQ1),and a control group transfected with an empty vector(NC).The half-maximal inhibitory concentration(IC50)of CDDP in each group was determined using the CCK-8 assay.Apoptosis level and cell viability were assessed using the Annexin V-APC/7-ADD apoptosis detection kit and Calcein/PI staining.Western blot analysis was performed to evaluate the effect of FOXQ1 on SIRT1 expression and acetylated p53 levels. The SIRT1 pathway inhibitor(S)-Selisi-stat was introduced to observe changes in p53 acetylation levels. Results:Compared to normal colon tissues,FOXQ1 expression was significantly upregulated in SW620 cells(P<0.05),and low-dose CDDP stimulation further en-hanced its expression(P<0.05).After 24 hours of CDDP treatment, the IC50 values for the oe-FOXQ1,sh-FOXQ1,and NC groups were 58.3 μmol/L,36.4 μmol/L,and 43.7 μmol/L,respectively,with statistically significant differences among the groups(P<0.05).Compared to the NC group, the oe-FOXQ1 group showed a decrease in late apoptotic cell count(P<0.05),while the sh-FOXQ1 group exhibited an increase(P<0.05).Cytotoxic fluorescence staining re-vealed that the proportion of cell death was lower in the oe-FOXQ1 group and higher in the sh-FOXQ1 group com-pared to the NC group(P<0.05).Protein expression analysis showed that FOXQ1 and SIRT1 levels were higher in the oe-FOXQ1 group and lower in the sh-FOXQ1 group compared to the NC group(P<0.05).FOXQ1 overexpression pro-moted p53 deacetylation, while the addition of the SIRT1 pathway inhibitor(S)-Selisistat restored p53 acetylation levels(P<0.05).Conclusion:FOXQ1 promotes p53 deacetylation by upregulating SIRT1 expression, thereby inhibiting DDR-induced apoptosis.

Stent entrapment is a rare complication of percutaneous coronary intervention. In recent years, with the development of distal radial artery puncture technology, the rare complications related to distal radial artery have been gradually understood. This article describes a patient who underwent coronary intervention through a distal radial approach, and the stent was dislodged and trapped in the far radial artery. The patient came to our hospital for stent implantation because of acute extensive anterolateral myocardial infarction.During the intervention, the balloon could not be filled when the stent was released from the left anterior descending artery, and the retracting stent could not be used to remove the guide catheter. The stent was dislodged and embedded in the distal vessel. The sheath was inserted through the proximal radial reverse puncture, and the stent was captured with a snare and removed.
