Oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma(OPSCC)is a malignant tumor originating from the squamous epithelium of the oro-pharyngeal mucosa,accounting for more than 90％of oropharyngeal malignancies.In recent years,human papillomavirus(HPV)infec-tion has become one of the primary etiological factors of oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma.The incidence of HPV-associated oropharyn-geal squamous carcinoma has been rising annually,with a noticeable trend toward younger populations,posing a significant threat to hu-man health.Due to the distinct biological behavior and clinical characteristics of HPV-associated oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma com-pared to its non-HPV-related counterpart,the diagnostic and treatment strategies for oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma have undergone substantial changes.Prevention and screening for oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma are of critical importance.The diagnostic and treat-ment process involves multi-disciplinary collaboration,including oral and maxillofacial surgery,otolaryngology,head and neck surgery,oncology,radiology and pathology.Based on evidence from clinical practice,a comprehensive,integrated diagnostic and therapeutic ap-proach has been established,centered around the concept of"prevention,screening,diagnosis,treatment,and rehabilitation",covering the entire patient lifecycle and providing a valuable reference for clinical practice.

Objective:To investigatetheclinicalefficacy and satetyoflaparoscopic abdominoperineal resection with pelvicperitoneum colsure for low rectal cancer.Methods:A comprehesive search was conducted across multiple da-tabases,including the Cochrane Library、PubMed、Embase、CBM、VIP、CNKI、and WanFang Data,focusing on studies re-lated to pelvic peritoneum colsure(PPC)-oriented laparoscopic abdominoperineal resection from database inception to July,2024.Then,meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3 software.Results:A total of 12 studies involving 999 patients were included.The results showed that there was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss.The laparoscopic pelvicperitoneum colsure takes a longer time,with a statistically significant difference(WMD=12.37,95%CI=2.27～22.46,P=0.02),but the postoperative exhaust time and hospitalization time are shorter,with a statistically significant difference(WMD=0.40,95%CI=0.07～0.72,P=0.02;WMD=-2.36,95%CI=-3.33～-1.38,P＜0.00001).In terms of postoperative complications,the overall complication rate was higher in the group that did not undergo pelvic-peritoneum colsure,with a statistically significant difference(OR=0.12,95%CI=0.08～0.18,P＜0.00001).The incidence of postoperative intestinal obstruction,perineal incisional hernia,pelvic effusion infection,and radiation enteritis was higher,and the differences were statistically significant(OR=0.24,95%CI=0.13～0.45,P＜0.00001,OR=0.23,95%CI=0.11～0.49,P=0.0001,OR=0.27,95%CI=0.14～0.51,P＜0.0001,OR=0.24,95%CI:0.07～0.81,P=0.03).Conclusion:In lapa-roscopic abdominoperineal resection,closing the pelvicperitoneum has lower postoperative complications,shorter post-operative exhaust time and hospitalization time,and longer operation time,which has better clinical efficacy and safety.

Objective To explore the expression levels of cholinesterase (CHE) and haptoglobin (HPT) in serum of children with recurrent respiratory tract infections (RRTI) and their value in evaluation of prognosis. Methods A total of 112 children with RRTI were selected and included in the RRTI group, and 95 normal children who underwent physical examination during the same period were randomly selected and included in control group. According to the severity of the disease, patients in the RRTI group were divided into mild group of 38 cases, moderate group of 40 cases, and severe group of 34 cases. The levels of serum CHE, HPT, interleukin-1 (IL-1), interleukin-6 (IL-6), immunoglobulin A (IgA), immunoglobulin M (IgM), as well as CD3⁺ and CD3⁺CD4⁺ were detected. The correlation between CHE and HPT in RRTI children was analyzed. The predictive value of serum CHE and HPT expression levels on the prognosis of RRTI children was analyzed. Results The CHE expression level in the RRTI group was significantly lower than that in the control group, while the HPT level was significantly higher (P < 0.05). The CHE level in severe RRTI patients was significantly lower than that in the moderate and mild groups, and the moderate group was significantly lower than the mild group; the HPT level in severe RRTI children was significantly higher than that in the moderate and mild groups, and the moderate group was significantly higher than the mild group (P < 0.05). The CHE expression level in RRTI children was negatively correlated with the HPT expression level (r=-0.637, P < 0.001). The levels of IL-1, IgA, IgM, CD3⁺ and CD3⁺CD4⁺, in the RRTI group were significantly lower than those in the control group, while the IL-6 level was significantly higher (P < 0.05). The CHE expression level in RRTI children was positively correlated with IL-1, IgA, IgM, CD3⁺and CD3⁺CD4⁺, and negatively correlated with IL-6; the HPT expression level was negatively correlated with IL-1, IgA, IgM, CD3⁺ and CD3⁺CD4⁺, and positively correlated with IL-6 (P < 0.05). The serum CHE expression level in RRTI children with good prognosis was significantly higher than that in RRTI children with poor prognosis, while the HPT level was significantly lower (P < 0.05). The area under the curve (AUC) of the combined prediction of CHE and HPT for the prognosis of RRTI children was higher than that of their individual predictions, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion In the serum of RRTI children, CHE is lowly expressed, while HPT is highly expressed. The combined evaluation of CHE and HPT has high prognostic value for RRTI patients.

Objective:To investigate the effect of sertraline hydrochloride combined with compound chamomile lidocaine gel in the treatment of premature ejaculation(PE).Methods:We selected 80 cases of PE treated in our hospital from June 2021 to May 2023 and equally randomized them into a control and an observation group,the former medicated with compound chamomile lidocaine gel while the latter with sertraline hydrochloride in addition,both for 6 weeks.We recorded and compared the intravaginal ejaculation latency time(IELT),the number of successful sexual intercourses per week,the Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool(PEDT)scores,and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of patients.Results:After the treatment,the IELT was signif-icantly longer([5.39±1.17]vs[2.49±0.73]min,P＜0.05),the weekly number of successful sexual intercourses remarkably higher(1.82±0.45 vs 0.93±0.19,P＜0.05)and the PEDT scores markedly lower(7.42±2.04 vs 9.85±2.36,P＜0.05)in the observation than in the control group,but no statistically significant differences were observed in the baseline PEDT scores or the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Sertraline hydrochloride combined with com-pound chamomile lidocaine gel is definitely effective in the treatment of PE,which can significantly improve the patients'quality of sexual life,with a high safety and low incidence of adverse reactions.
