Objective:To analyze the trend and group characteristics of blood lipid metabolism indexes of a batch of military medical staff in a hospital and the interactions among those indexes and other related metabolism indexes,so as to provide reference for systematic health management of blood lipid for military medical personnel. Methods:A total of 236 records of blood lipid metabolism indexes of naval medical personnel who consecutively received physical examinations from 2012 to 2018(except 2013)were collected and analyzed by SPSS 21.0 software. Results:Different gender groups had different trends in blood lipid metabolism. Among male military medical staff, the total cholesterol(TC)in 2015 reached 40.00%;the abnormal rate of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)rose from 16.49% in 2012 to 22.22% in 2018;and the abnormal rate of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)rose from 43.30% in 2012 to 58.89% in 2018. Among female military medical staff, the abnormal rates of blood lipid levels increased year by year,in 2018,the abnormal rates of TC,triacylglycerol(TG),and LDL-C were 18.89%,5.56%,and 30.00%,respectively. The abnormal rates of blood lipid levels in female military medical personnel were significantly lower than those of their male counterparts. Different age groups had different lipid metabolism characteristics. The military medical personnel aged under 40(group < 40)had relatively high TC in 2014,2015,and 2017. Their TG abnormal rate in 2015 was at the peak value of 56.36%;the highest abnormal rate of their HDL-C was 21.43% in 2018;the highest abnormal rate of their LDL-C was 68.57% in 2018. The military medical personnel aged 40–50(group 40–50)in 2018 had a TC abnormal rate of 36.59%. Their LDL-C abnormal rate of 75.61%,and their abnormal rate of HDL-C were declining. The military medical personnel aged above 50(group > 50)showed an increasing trend in abnormal rates of TC,TG,and LDL-C,reaching 43.75%,37.5%,and 68.75%,respectively,in 2018. In 2012,the abnormal rates of blood lipid metabolism indexes in the group > 50 was lower than those of the other two groups, while in 2018,the abnormal rate of TG in the group > 50 was significantly higher than those of the other two groups, and the abnormal rate of HDL-C in the group < 40 was significantly higher than those of the other two groups. Comparing the mean values of blood lipid metabolism indexes of different age groups in different years, the mean values of TC in the group 40–50 and the group > 50 fluctuated significantly, and there were two high mean values of TC in 2015 and 2017. The mean value of HDL-C in 2012 was significantly lower than those in other years( F=6.312, P<0.001). Comparing the mean values of blood lipid metabolism indexes between different age groups in the same year, the mean values of TC in 2012 and 2015 of different age groups were significantly different, among which the mean value of TC in the group > 50 group was significantly higher than that of the group < 40( F=3.597, P=0.026; F=4.253, P=0.007);the mean value of LDL-C of the group > 50 in 2012 was significantly higher than that of the group < 40 in 2012( F=8.660, P<0.001). The cumulative changes of fasting blood glucose and serum uric acid were positively correlated with the cumulative changes of TC and TG. Conclusion:The blood lipid metabolism of military medical personnel has significant group characteristics,so it is necessary to provide targeted long-term health support programs according to such characteristics,so as to maintain the long-term stability of blood lipid metabolism in different groups.
