OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of "Zhibian" (BL54)-toward-"Shuidao" (ST28) needling technique on the relative protein expression of the signaling pathway of nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-containing protein 1 (NOD1)/ receptor-interacting protein 2 (RIP2)/nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB) and the expression of proinflammatory cytokines in the rats with primary dysmenorrhea (PD), so as to explore the underlying mechanism of this acupuncture technique for pain alleviation in PD. METHODS: Thirty female SD rats of SPF grade with normal estrous cycle were randomized into a blank group, a model group and an acupuncture group, 10 rats in each one. Using the intraperitoneal injection with estradiol benzoate combined with oxytocin, PD model was prepared in the model group and the acupuncture group. In the acupuncture group, during model preparation, the intervention with "Zhibian" (BL54)-toward-"Shuidao" (ST28) needling technique was delivered simultaneously, 20 min each time, once daily for consecutive 10 days. On day 11, within 30 min after the intraperitoneal injection with oxytocin, the writhing reaction (latency, frequency and score) was recorded; the morphology of uterine tissue was observed with HE staining, the contents of prostaglandin E₂ (PGE₂), prostaglandin F_2α (PGF_2α), interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-18, cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in the serum were detected using ELISA method; the relative protein expression of NOD1, RIP2, NF-κB p65, phosphorylation-NF-κB p65 (p-NF-κB p65) was detected in the uterine tissue using Western blot method; and the mRNA expression of NOD1, RIP2 and NF-κB p65 was detected with the quantitative real-time PCR employed. RESULTS: Compared with the blank group, in the model group, the writhing latency was prolonged (P<0.01), the writhing frequency and score increased (P<0.01) in the rats; the endometrial epithelial cells showed massive degeneration and necrosis, with severe endometrial edema and widespread shedding, combined with neutrophil infiltration; the serum PGE₂ content was dropped (P<0.01), while those of PGF_2α, IL-1β, IL-18, COX-2, and TNF-α elevated (P<0.01); the protein expression of NOD1, RIP2, NF-κB p65 and p-NF-κB p65, and the mRNA expression of NOD1, RIP2 and NF-κB p65 in uterine tissue increased (P<0.01). In comparison with the model group, in the acupuncture group, the writhing latency was prolonged (P<0.01), the writhing frequency and score were reduced (P<0.01) in the rats; there was less degeneration and necrosis of endometrial epithelial cells, with mild endometrial edema and very little neutrophil infiltration; the serum PGE₂ content increased (P<0.01), while those of PGF_2α, IL-1β, IL-18, COX-2, and TNF-α decreased (P<0.01); the protein expression of NOD1, RIP2, NF-κB p65 and p-NF-κB p65 and the mRNA expression of NOD1, RIP2 and NF-κB p65 in uterine tissue were dropped (P<0.05, P<0.01). CONCLUSION "Zhibian" (BL54)-toward-"Shuidao" (ST28) needling technique can alleviate the pain symptom of PD rats, and its action mechanism may be related to inhibiting the active expression of NOD1/RIP2/NF-κB signaling pathway in the uterine tissue, thereby reducing the inflammatory response.

OBJECTIVE: To screen the population for acupuncture treatment of neck pain, using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) technology and based on machine learning algorithms. METHODS: Eighty patients with neck pain were recruited. Using FPX25 handheld pressure algometer, the tender points were detected in the areas with high-frequent onset of neck pain and high degree of acupoint sensitization. Acupuncture was delivered at 4 tender points with the lowest pain threshold, once every two days; and the treatment was given 3 times a week and for 2 consecutive weeks. The amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) of the brain before treatment was taken as a predictive feature to construct support vector machine (SVM), logistic regression (LR), and K-nearest neighbors (KNN) models to predict the responses of neck pain patients to acupuncture treatment. A longitudinal analysis of the ALFF features was performed before and after treatment to reveal the potential biological markers of the reactivity to the acupuncture therapy. RESULTS: The SVM model could successfully distinguish high responders (48 cases) and low responders (32 cases) to acupuncture treatment, and its accuracy rate reached 82.5%. Based on the SVM model, the ALFF values of 4 brain regions were identified as the consistent predictive features, including the right middle temporal gyrus, the right superior occipital gyrus, and the bilateral posterior cingulate gyrus. In the patients with high acupuncture response, the ALFF value in the left posterior cingulate gyrus decreased after treatment (P<0.05), whereas in the patients with low acupuncture response, the ALFF value in the right superior occipital gyrus increased after treatment (P<0.01). The longitudinal functional connectivity (FC) analysis found that compared with those before treatment, the high responders showed the enhanced FC after treatment between the left posterior cingulate gyrus and various regions, including the bilateral Crus1 of the cerebellum, the right insula, the bilateral angular gyrus, the left medial superior frontal gyrus, and the left middle cingulate gyrus (GRF: corrected, voxel level: P<0.05, mass level: P<0.05). In contrast, the low responders exhibited the enhanced FC between the left posterior cingulate gyrus and the left Crus2 of the cerebellum, the left middle temporal gyrus, the right posterior cingulate gyrus, and the left angular gyrus; besides, FC was reduced in low responders between the left posterior cingulate gyrus and the right supramarginal gyrus (GRF: corrected, voxel level: P<0.05, mass level: P<0.05). CONCLUSION This study validates the practicality of pre-treatment ALFF feature prediction for acupuncture efficacy on neck pain. The therapeutic effect of acupuncture on neck pain is potentially associated with its impact on the default mode network, and then, alter the pain perception and emotional regulation.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of electroacupuncture (EA) at changbing fang (prescription for intestinal disease) on autophagy of colonic cells and gut microbiota in rats with ulcerative colitis (UC), and to explore the mechanism of EA in the treatment of UC. METHODS: Thirty-two SD male rats were randomly divided into a control group, a model group, an EA group and a sham-EA group, with 8 rats in each group. Except the control group, the UC rat model was established by free drinking of 5% dextran sulfate sodium solution for 7 days in the other groups. In the EA group, changbing fang was adopted, in which, EA was applied at "Tianshu" (ST25) and "Shangjuxu" (ST37), at disperse-dense wave and frequency of 10 Hz/50 Hz, for 20 min in each intervention. In the sham-EA group, shallow transcutaneous puncture was performed at the sites, 5 mm away from the points as the EA group, with the same parameters as the EA group. The intervention was delivered once daily for 3 consecutive days. The body weight was measured daily and the disease activity index (DAI) score was calculated before and after intervention. After intervention completion, the colon length was measured. Using HE staining, the colon morphology was observed and the score of colonic pathology was assessed. With ELISA adopted, the contents of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-2 and IL-10 in the serum of the rats were detected. The ultrastructure of the colon tissue was observed under electron microscopy. Using Western blotting, the protein expression was detected for microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 (LC3)Ⅱ, LC3Ⅰ, autophagy-related genes (ATG) 5, ATG12, sequestosome 1 (p62), phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K), phosphorylated protein kinase B (p-AKT), protein kinase B (AKT), and phosphorylated mammalian target of rapamycin (p-mTOR), mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) in the colon tissue. The mRNA expression of PI3K, AKT and m-TOR in the colon tissue was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. The 16S rRNA gene sequencing was used to analyze the structure of gut flora in the feces of rats. RESULTS: From day 1 to day 7, compared with the control group, the body weight decreased in the model group, EA group, and SEA group (P<0.05, P<0.01). From day 9 to day 10, the EA group showed an increase in body weight compared with the model group and SEA group (P<0.05, P<0.01). Before intervention, the DAI score in the model group, EA group, and SEA group was higher than the score of the control group, respectively (P<0.01). After intervention, the DAI score in the EA group was reduced compared with the model group and SEA group (P<0.01). Compared with the control group, in the model group, the colon length of rats was shorter (P<0.01); it showed the distorted crypts, thinner mucosal layer, reduced goblet cells, inflammatory cell infiltration and the disarranged histological structure; and the pathological score of the colon tissue increased (P<0.01); the serum contents of TNF-α and IL-1β increased (P<0.01), and those of IL-2 and IL-10 decreased (P<0.01). The structure of colon epithelial cells was disarranged, with cilia pelt off, and a large number of vacuoles in the cytoplasm; the mitochondria were swollen, with unclear structure and cristae partially disappeared; and few autophagosomes were observed. The value of LC3Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰand the protein expression of ATG5 and ATG12 in the colon tissues were reduced (P<0.01), the protein expression of p62 and PI3K, and the values of p-AKT/AKT, and p-mTOR/mTOR increased (P<0.01), and mRNA expression of PI3K, AKT and mTOR was elevated (P<0.01). The indexes of Chao1, Ace and Shannon decreased (P<0.01). At the phylum level, the relative abundance of Firmicutes decreased (P<0.05), that of Bacteroidetes and Proteobacteria increased (P<0.05, P<0.01). At the genus level, the relevant abundance of Lactobacillus decreased (P<0.05), while that of Lachnospiraceae_NK4A136_group and Phascolarctobacterium increased (P<0.01, P<0.05 ). Compared with the model group and SEA group, in the EA group, the colon length increased (P<0.01), the infiltration of inflammatory cells was reduced, the arrangement of intestinal epithelial cells was arranged regularly, with a small amount of shedding, and the pathological score of the colon tissue decreased (P<0.01). The serum contents of TNF-α and IL-1β decreased (P<0.01), and those of IL-2 and IL-10 increased (P<0.01). The colonic epithelial cells were arranged relatively, the morphology of organelles was basically normal, and autophagosomes were visible. The value of LC3Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰand the protein expression of ATG5 and ATG12 in colon tissue increased (P<0.01, P<0.05), the protein expression of p62 and PI3K, and the values of p-AKT/AKT, and p-mTOR/mTOR decreased (P<0.01); and mRNA expression of PI3K, AKT, m-TOR was reduced (P<0.01). The indexes of Chao1, Ace and Shannon increased (P<0.01). At the phylum level, the relative abundance of Firmicutes increased (P<0.01), while that of Bacteroidetes decreased (P<0.01). OBJECTIVE: To explore the possible mechanism by which the "Zhibian" (BL54) toward "Shuidao" (ST28) acupuncture improves ovarian function in mice with poor ovarian response (POR) by observing its effect on gut microbiota. METHODS: A total of 35 SPF-grade C57BL/6 female mice were screened for normal estrous cycles using vaginal smears, and 30 mice were selected. Ten mice were assigned to the blank group, while the remaining mice were used to establish the POR model by intragastric administration of tripterygium wilfordii suspension. The successfully modeled mice were randomly divided into a model group and an acupuncture group, with 10 mice in each group. After modeling, the acupuncture group received the "Zhibian" (BL54) toward "Shuidao" (ST28) acupuncture method once daily for 20 minutes per session. Ovulation induction began the day after the intervention, and samples were collected after ovulation induction. Vaginal cytology was used to observe estrous cycle changes, and the number of oocytes obtained, ovarian wet weight, and ovarian index were recorded. Serum levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), estradiol (E2), and anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) were detected using ELISA. HE staining was used to observe ovarian histology. Gut microbiota was analyzed using 16S rRNA gene sequencing technology. Western blot was used to detect the relative protein expression levels of Occludin and zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1) in colonic tissue. Correlation analysis was conducted among serum hormone indexes, the number of oocytes obtained, ovarian index and gut microbiota. RESULTS: Compared with the blank group, the model group showed a higher estrous cycle disorder rate (P<0.01), increased serum FSH and LH levels, and a higher LH/FSH ratio (P<0.01), while the number of oocytes obtained, ovarian wet weight, ovarian index, and serum E2 and AMH levels were significantly reduced (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the acupuncture group showed a lower estrous cycle disorder rate (P<0.01), decreased serum FSH and LH levels, and a lower LH/FSH ratio (P<0.01), along with an increased number of oocytes obtained, higher ovarian wet weight, ovarian index, and elevated serum AMH and E2 levels (P<0.01, P<0.05). The blank group had a large number of well-developed primordial follicles, with abundant and closely arranged follicles at various stages. In the model group, there was a significant increase in the number of atretic follicles, a reduction in the number of follicles at various stages, and loosely arranged ovarian tissue. Compared with the blank group, the model group showed a significant decrease in the number of normal follicles (P<0.01) and an increase in the number of atretic follicles (P<0.01). The acupuncture group showed a reduction in atretic follicles and an increase in the number of follicles at various stages compared with the model group, with a significant increase in normal follicles (P<0.01) and a decrease in atretic follicles (P<0.01). Compared with the blank group, the model group exhibited reduced gut microbiota diversity and richness, with significantly lower Chao1 and Shannon indices (P<0.01), and a greater clustering distance from the blank group. The model group also showed an increase in the relative abundance of Firmicutes_D, Verrucomicrobiota, Paramuribaculum, Dubosiella, and Muribaculum (P<0.01, P<0.05), while the relative abundance of Firmicutes_A and the relative protein expression of Occludin and ZO-1 in colonic tissue were decreased (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the acupuncture group showed improved gut microbiota diversity and richness, with increased Chao1 and Shannon indices (P<0.05), and a clustering distance closer to the blank group. The acupuncture group exhibited reduced relative abundance of Firmicutes_D, Verrucomicrobiota, and Muribaculum (P<0.05, P<0.01), while the relative abundance of Firmicutes_A and the relative protein expression of Occludin and ZO-1 were significantly increased (P<0.01, P<0.05). Correlation analysis indicated a relationship between gut microbiota and serum hormone indicators, as well as the ovarian index. Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis showed that the metabolic pathways of the intersecting species were related to amino acid biosynthesis and nucleotide metabolism. CONCLUSION The "Zhibian" (BL54) toward "Shuidao" (ST28) acupuncture method improves ovarian function in POR mice, and its mechanism may be related to regulating gut microbiota structure and maintaining intestinal barrier homeostasis.

ObjectiveTo unveil the mechanism of Jianpi Huogu prescription （JPHGP） in ameliorating the dyslipidemia of steroid-induced osteonecrosis of the femur head （SONFH） by oxylipidomics combined with transcriptomics. MethodsSixty SD rats were assigned into normal， model， low-， medium-， and high-dose （2.5， 5， 10 g·kg^-1， respectively） JPHGP， and Jiangushengwan （1.53 g·kg^-1） groups. Lipopolysaccharide was injected into the tail vein at a dose of 20 μg·kg^-1 on days 1 and 2， and methylprednisolone sodium succinate was injected at a dose of 40 mg·kg^-1 into the buttock muscle on days 3 to 5. The normal group received an equal volume of normal saline. Drug administration by gavage began 4 weeks after the last injection， and samples were taken after administration for 8 weeks. Hematoxylin-eosin staining was conducted to reveal the histopathological changes of the femoral head， and the number of adipocytes， the rate of empty bone lacunae， and the trabecular area were calculated. Micro-computed tomography was used for revealing the histological and histomorphometrical changes of the femoral head. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was employed to measure the serum levels of triglyceride （TG）， total cholesterol （TC）， low-density lipoprotein （LDL）， high-density lipoprotein （HDL）， apolipoprotein A1 （ApoA1）， and apolipoprotein B （ApoB）. At the same time， the femoral head was collected for oxylipidomic and transcriptomic detection. The differential metabolites and differential genes were enriched and analyzed， and the target genes regulating lipid metabolism were predicted. The predicted target proteins were further verified by molecular docking， immunohistochemistry， and Western blot. ResultsCompared with the normal group， the model group showcased thinning of the femoral head， trabecular fracture， karyopyknosis， subchondral cystic degeneration， increases in the number of adipocytes and the rate of empty bone lacunae （P<0.01）， a reduction in the trabecular area （P<0.01）， decreases in BMD， Tb.Th， Tb.N， and BV/TV， and increases in Tb.Sp and BS/BV （P<0.01）. Compared with the model group， the JPHGP groups showed no obvious thinning of the femoral head or subchondroidal cystic degeneration. The high- and medium-dose JPHGP groups presented declines in the number of adipocytes and the rate of empty bone lacunae， an increase in the trabecular area （P<0.05， P<0.01）， rises in BMD， Tb.Th， Tb.N， and BV/TV， and decreases in Tb.Sp and BS/BV （P<0.05， P<0.01）. Compared with the normal group， the model group showcased raised serum levels of TG， TC， LDL， and ApoB and lowered serum levels of HDL and ApoA1 （P<0.01）. Compared with the model group， the JPHGP groups had lowered serum levels of TG， TC， LDL， and ApoB （P<0.05， P<0.01） and a risen serum level of ApoA1 （P<0.05， P<0.01）. Moreover， the serum level of HDL in the high-dose JPHGP group increased （P<0.01）. A total of 19 different metabolites of disease set and drug set were screened out by oxylipidomics of the femoral head， and 119 core genes with restored expression were detected by transcriptomics. The enriched pathways were mainly concentrated in inflammation， lipids， apoptosis， and osteoclast differentiation. Molecular docking， immunohistochemistry， and Western blot results showed that compared with the normal group， the model group displayed increased content of 5-lipoxygenase （5-LO） and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ （PPARγ） in the femoral head （P<0.01）. Compared with the model group， medium- and high-dose JPHGP reduced the content of 5-LO and PPARγ （P<0.05， P<0.01）. ConclusionJPHGP can restore the levels of oxidized lipid metabolites by regulating the 5-LO-PPARγ axis to treat SONFH in rats. Relevant studies provide experimental evidence for the efficacy mechanism of JPHGP in the treatment of SONFH.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)is a malignant lesion originating from the oral mucosal squamous epithelium,account-ing for over 80％of oral and maxillofacial malignancies.Key etiological factors include tobacco,alcohol abuse,and betel quid chewing.In China,its incidence has shown an overall upward trend,posing a significant threat to public health.OSCC exhibits high local invasive-ness,making early diagnosis critical for improving prognosis.Its clinical management requires close multidisciplinary collaboration among oral and maxillofacial surgery,head and neck surgery,radiation oncology,medical oncology,reconstructive surgery,radiology,patholo-gy,and nutritional support teams.Given the increasing disease burden of OSCC and rapid development of multidisciplinary collaborative models,an expert panel has formulated this integrated management consensus based on evidence-based medicine and extensive deliber-ation.Centered on the'Prevention-Screening-Diagnosis-Treatment-Rehabilitation'framework,the consensus provides comprehensive guidance for the entire disease course of OSCC patients,aiming to standardize clinical practice.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of remimazolam-based anesthesia in daytime laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Methods:In this multicenter, non-inferiority, randomized controlled trial, 300 American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status classification Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients of either sex, aged 18-60 yr, with body mass index of 18-28 kg/m 2, who underwent daytime laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anesthesia with tracheal intubation at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine, the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Jinhua Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Hangzhou First People′s Hospital Affiliated to Westlake University School of Medicine, Ningbo No. 2 Hospital, and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from August 2021 to August 2023, were selected and divided into 2 groups ( n=150 each) using a random number table method: remimazolam group (R group) and propofol group (P group). Anesthesia was induced as follows: Sufentanil was intravenously injected at a rate of 0.5 μg/kg, remimazolam was intravenously injected at a rate of 0.3 mg/kg in group R, propofol was intravenously injected at a rate of 2.0-2.5 mg/kg in group P, and cisatracurium besilate was intravenously injected at a rate of 0.2 mg/kg after loss of consciousness in two groups. The patients were mechanically ventilated after tracheal intubation. Anesthesia was maintained as follows: Remimazolam was intravenously injected at a rate of 0.5-1.0 mg·kg -1·h -1 in group R, propofol was intravenously injected at a rate of 4-10 mg·kg -1·h -1 in group P, and remifentanil was intravenously infused at a rate of 0.25-2.00 μg·kg -1·min -1, maintaining intraoperative bispectral index value of 40-60. The success rate of sedation was recorded, and non-inferiority tests were conducted. The time to loss of consciousness, emergence time, extubation time, recovery time of orientation, time of stay in post-anesthesia care unit and occurrence of delayed emergence were recorded. Liver function and renal function were measured before operation and within 24 h after operation. The occurrence of abnormal alanine transaminase, abnormal aspartate transaminase, abnormal creatinine and abnormal urea was recorded. The occurrence of adverse reactions during and after operation was recorded. Results:The success rates of sedation were 98.6% and 99.3% in group R and group P, respectively, there was no statistically significant difference in the success rate of sedation between the two groups ( P>0.05), and the difference in the success rates of sedation between the two groups was -0.007 (95% confidence interval-0.0301-0.0161), which met the pre-set non-inferiority criteria(95% confidence interval >-0.055). Compared with group P, the time to loss of consciousness and recovery time of orientation were significantly prolonged, and the incidence of delayed emergence was increased ( P<0.05), and no statistically significant changes were found in the emergence time, extubation time, time of stay in post-anesthesia care unit and severity of postoperative nausea and vomiting in group R ( P>0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the abnormal rates of alanine transaminase, aspartate transaminase, creatinine and urea before and after operation between the two groups ( P>0.05). Conclusions:The efficacy of remimazolam-based anesthesia in daytime laparoscopic cholecystectomy is not inferior to that of propofol-based anesthesia.

Hypertension is a major factor leading to cardiovascular events and death, and accurate blood pressure measurement is a fundamental means of evaluating blood pressure levels, achieving hypertension diagnosis, and observing antihypertensive efficacy. Compared to traditional brachial pressure, central aortic pressure (CAP) exhibits a stronger correlation with cardiovascular events. However, its non-invasive detection technology has not yet been widely adopted in clinical practice. In order to promote the clinical application of CAP and optimize blood pressure management, this article systematically summarizes the research progress of CAP estimation algorithms. These algorithms were categorized into three types: direct substitution methods, generalized model-based methods and personalized estimation methods. The characteristics and clinical adaptability of each algorithm were analyzed. The findings highlight that CAP estimation algorithms are moving towards personalization and non-linearity.

The activation of the sirtuin1 (SIRT1)/nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2)/heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1) pathway has been shown to mitigate oxidative stress-induced apoptosis and mitochondrial damage by reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. Clinical trials have demonstrated that Zhongfeng Xingnao Liquid (ZFXN) ameliorates post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI). However, the underlying mechanism, particularly whether it involves protecting mitochondria and inhibiting apoptosis through the SIRT1/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway, remains unclear. This study employed an oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD) cell model using SH-SY5Y cells and induced PSCI in rats through modified bilateral carotid artery ligation (2VO). The effects of ZFXN on learning and memory, neuroprotective activity, mitochondrial function, oxidative stress, and the SIRT1/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway were evaluated both in vivo and in vitro. Results indicated that ZFXN significantly increased the B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl2)/Bcl2-associated X (Bax) ratio, reduced terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end-labeling (TUNEL)⁺ cells, and markedly improved cognition, synaptic plasticity, and neuronal function in the hippocampus and cortex. Furthermore, ZFXN exhibited potent antioxidant activity, evidenced by decreased ROS and malondialdehyde (MDA) content and increased superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione (GSH) levels. ZFXN also demonstrated considerable enhancement of mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), Tom20 fluorescence intensity, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and energy charge (EC) levels, and mitochondrial complex I and III activity, thereby inhibiting mitochondrial damage. Additionally, ZFXN significantly increased SIRT1 activity and elevated SIRT1, nuclear Nrf2, and HO-1 levels. Notably, these effects were substantially counteracted when SIRT1 was suppressed by the inhibitor EX-527 in vitro. In conclusion, ZFXN alleviates PSCI by activating the SIRT1/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway and preventing mitochondrial damage.
