ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of early intradermal needle therapy in preventing retained products of conception （RPOC） following induced abortion. MethodsA randomized， single-blind， placebo-controlled trial design was applied. Eighty-eight patients scheduled for early induced abortion were randomly assigned to either an intradermal needle group （44 cases） or a sham control group （44 cases）. Both groups underwent ultrasound-guided vacuum aspiration under general anesthesia and received standard postoperative pharmacological care. Immediately following the operation， the intradermal needle group received active intradermal needle therapy at bilateral Sanyinjiao （SP 6）， Hegu （LI 4） and Zhiyin （BL 67）， with needles retaining for 3 days， acupoint pressing three times daily for 5 minutes per acupoint， followed by 5 minutes of walking after each pressing session； while the sham control group received a visually identical， blunt-tipped sham needle intervention. The primary outcome was endometrial thickness measured by Doppler ultrasound at week 2 post-procedure. Secondary outcomes included the incidence of RPOC， visual analog scale （VAS） score and PTSD Checklist-Civilian Version （PCL-C） score at 2 hours post-procedure， volume and duration of vaginal bleeding， uterine volume， Pictorial Blood Loss Assessment Chart （PBAC） scores at weeks 5 and 12， menstrual cycle characteristics， and adverse events should be recorded. ResultsAt week 2 post-procedure， endometrial thickness was significantly lower in the intradermal needle group compared to the sham control group （P＜0.05）. Transvaginal ultrasonography at postoperative week 2 showed thinner endometrium in the intradermal needle group than in the sham group （P＜0.05）. RPOC occurred 1 case （2.27%） in the intradermal needle group versus 9 cases （20.45%） in the sham control group， yielding a significantly higher RPOC incidence in the sham control group （P＜0.05）. Patients in the intradermal needle group had less postoperative vaginal bleeding volume and shorter bleeding duration than those in the sham control group （P＜0.05）. No statistically significant difference was found in 2-hour postoperative VAS pain score， uterine volume at postoperative week 2 and week 5， PBAC score at postoperative week 5 and week 12， or menstrual cycle at postoperative week 12 between groups（all P＞0.05）. No obvious adverse reactions were observed in either group. ConclusionImmediate intradermal needle intervention after early induced abortion can significantly reduce the incidence of postoperative RPOC， exert beneficial effects on reducing the volume and duration of postoperative vaginal bleeding as well as alleviating post-traumatic stress symptoms， with good safety.

Precancerous lesions of gastric cancer （PLGC） are a group of pathological changes caused by abnormalities in the structure， morphology， and differentiation of gastric mucosal epithelial cells. Since the early symptoms are hidden and non-specific， PLGC is not easy to be diagnosed and it has often developed into intermediate or advanced gastric cancer once being diagnosed and missed the best time for treatment. Accordingly， the incidence of this disease is increasing year by year， which lifts a heavy burden on the patients. The pathogenesis of PLGC is complex， involving inflammatory microenvironment， bile reflux， glycolysis， autophagy， and apoptosis. Currently， PLGC is mainly treated with anti-inflammatory and endoscopic therapies， which are difficult to curb the development of PLGC. Therefore， seeking a safe and effective therapy is an important topic of modern research. Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）， characterized by treatment based on syndrome differentiation and a holistic view， exerts effects via multiple pathways， mechanisms， and targets. Recent studies have confirmed that TCM can regulate the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin （PI3K/Akt/mTOR）， Wnt/β-catenin， Sonic Hedgehog， nuclear factor-κB （NF-κB）， Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription （JAK/STAT）， hypoxia-inducible factor-1α （HIF-1α）， neurogenic locus notch homolog protein （Notch）， nuclear factor E₂-related factor 2 （Nrf2） and other signaling pathways. By targeting these pathways， TCM can inhibit aerobic glycolysis， reduce oxidative stress， repair the inflammatory microenvironment， regulate cellular autophagy， and promote vascular normalization， thereby delaying or reversing PLGC. However， few researchers have systematically summarized the TCM regulation of PLGC-associated pathways. By reviewing the relevant articles at home and abroad， this paper summarized the roles of the above signaling pathways in the development of PLGC and the research progress in the regulation of signaling pathways by TCM in the treatment of PLGC， with a view to providing a new theoretical basis for the clinical research on PLGC and the drug development for this disease.

Objective To study the effect of auditory and speech development after cochlear implant(CI)in children with bilateral cochlear nerve deficiency(CND)and its influencing factors.Methods A total of 20 children with bilateral CND were included in the study,of which 5 were implanted bilaterally and 15 unilaterally.CT of the temporal bone showed stenosis of the cochlear aperture in 14 cases and atresia of the cochlear aperture in 6 cases.There were 8 cases accompanied by other inner ear malformations,and 12 cases with no accompanying inner ear mal-formations.MRI of the internal auditory canal showed 1 nerve in 5 cases,2 nerves in 6 cases,3 nerves in 8 cases,and 4 nerves in 1 case.There were 6 cases in which the EABR was not elicited and 14 cases in which it was elicited.The postoperative auditory and speech abilities of the subjects were evaluated using categories of auditory perform-ance(CAP)and speech intelligibility rating(SIR).Results ① The CAP(P＜0.001)and SIR(P＜0.001)scores of the children with stenosis of the cochlea nerve canal were higher than those of the patients with atresia of the cochlea nerve canal.② The more nerve roots in the internal auditory canal,the higher the score of CAP(P=0.003)and SIR(P=0.008).③ CAP score of the children with EABR elicited was higher than that of the children without EABR elicited(P=0.030).The difference in SIR scores was not statistically significant(P=0.14).④The differences in CAP and SIR between those with bilateral CI and unilateral CI,as well as between those with and without other inner ear malformations,were not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion Children with bi-lateral CND had significant postoperative improvement in auditory function but poor speech development after CI.Postoperative auditory speech ability was related to the condition of the cochlear foramen,the number of nerve roots in the internal auditory canal,and whether or not the EABR was elicited intraoperatively.

AIM:To explore the correlation be-tween trimethylamine N-oxide(TMAO)and Hashi-moto's thyroiditis(HT)and to provide new ideas for early clinical diagnosis of HT.METHODS:A total of 102 patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis(HT group)and 204 healthy individuals(control group)were included in the study and clinical data were collected.Serum TMAO levels was determined by stable isotope dilution high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS).SPSS 26.0 was used for statistical analysis.RESULTS:Analysis of the baseline data revealed that there was a statistically significant difference between the TMAO levels and gender between the HT group and the control group(P<0.05).In the high-level TMAO group,the proportion of HT(63.7%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(18.6%),the regression analysis showed that high levels of TMAO were correlated with HT and positively correlated with the levels of thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPOAb),thyroglobulin antibody(TgAb),Logistic regression analysis further revealed that serum TMAO was a risk factor for the development of HT.CONCLUSION:In the TMAO>6.80 μmol/L group,the level of TMAO was correlat-ed with HT,and the high level of TMAO was posi-tively correlated with TPOAb and TgAb,which were risk factors for the occurrence of HT.It is suggested that TMAO can predict the risk of HT and has cer-tain clinical value.

Objective To establish the judgment basis of ventilation pipe status by 0 daPa wideband acoustic immittance(WAI-0 daPa),and to assist doctors to determine the status of ventilation tube and determine the timing of extubation.Methods A total of 43 children with 62 ears aged 3-6 years old were tested by 0 daPa broadband acoustic reactance test.The normal middle ear function group were ten children with 20 ears.Children with secreto-ry otitis media more than 12 months after tympanic tube catheterization were divided into 11 cases 19 ears of clear ventilation tube group,and 23 ears in 22 cases of ventilation tube blockage group.A total of 107 frequencies of WAI-0 daPa were obtained.The Kruskal-Wallis H and Nemenyi were used to analyze the influence of ventilation tube status on WAI-0 daPa.Results The WAI-0 daPa at 226-667 Hz was significantly higher in the clear ventila-tion tubegroupthan in the normal middle ear group.The WAI-0 daPa at 226-500 Hz was significantly lower in the blocked ventilation tube group than in the clear ventilation tube group.The WAI-0 daPa at 2 000-3 364 Hz and 6 727 Hz in the normal middle ear function group were significantly higher than those in the blocked ventilation tube group.The WAI-0 daPa in low frequencies was less than 20％,the possibility of blackage of eardrum tube was greater.Conclusion The absorptivity in low frequency region of WAI-0 daPa can be used to determine the status of tympanic catheter ventilation tube and assist doctors to determine the timing of extubation.

Objective To investigate the feasibility of estimating the real-ear-to-coupler difference(RECD)in children with head circumference,so as to further optimize the personalized and accurate matching scheme of hearing aid fitting for children.Methods A total of 106 children(197 ears)were enrolled in this study.Head circumference was measured using a soft ruler and RECD was measured using OmetroricsAuricalTM.SPSS software was used to analyze the correlation between the head circumference,month age and RECD values at each frequency of children.Results ① The head circumference of boys was slightly larger than that of girls,but there was no significant differ-ence between them(P＞0.05).② Unitary linear correlation analysis showed that RECD values at 750-6 000 Hz were negatively correlated with the head circumference,and a regression equation was established between RECD values at 1 000-6 000 Hz and the head circumference.③ RECD values calculated by regression formula based on the head circumference showed no significant difference between 1 000-3 000 Hz and 6 000 Hz and children's actu-al RECD values.Conclusion The individual RECD values of 0-6 years old children were correlated with the head circumference,and with the increase of the head circumference,RECD values at middle and high frequencies de-creased gradually.For children whose physical developments were not consistent with biological age,the RECD data at middle and high frequencies could be estimated based on the head circumference.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the operation effect of the drug complaints and reporting system in China， and put forward the suggestions for improving the drug supervision system and enhancing the national drug scientific supervision capacity. METHODS The statistical data of drug supervision from 2012 to 2023 and the complaint data of various provinces and 7 third- party platforms of drug online sales from National 12315 Consumer Complaint Information Disclosure Platform from 2023 to 2024 were collected. The operation effect of drug complaints and reporting system was analyzed from the dimensions of public participation， public satisfaction， case handling efficiency and quality， social effect and risk early warning ability. RESULTS From 2012 to 2019， the acceptance of drug complaints and reporting fluctuated greatly， and the number of drug complaints and reporting cases showed a downward trend as a whole， but the public satisfaction was high and the closure rate continued to increase. From 2023 to 2024， the top five provinces in terms of the number of drug complaints were Guangdong， Henan， Zhejiang， Shandong and Shanghai. Drug complaints in the online platform mainly involved Chinese and Western medicines， traditional Chinese medicines and Chinese herbal medicines sold on the network platforms of Pinduoduo， Jingdong and Taobao. The complaints focused on quality and after-sales service， and there were significant differences in the proportion of mediation agreements in drug complaint cases. From 2021 to 2024， the drug regulatory authorities investigated and dealt with 11 typical cases of online sales violations through complaint and reporting clues. CONCLUSIONS The drug complaints and reporting system in China runs smoothly. It is suggested to further use the data of National 12315 Consumer Complaint Information Disclosure Platform to strengthen the monitoring of key areas and network platforms， and urge enterprises to implement the main responsibility， so as to improve the quality and safety of drugs and ensure the safety of public medication.
