Objectives:This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of bendamustine in combination with rituximab (BR regimen) for the treatment of newly diagnosed indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (B-iNHL) and elderly mantle cell lymphoma (eMCL) .Methods:From December 1, 2020 to September 10, 2022, a multi-center prospective study was conducted across ten Grade A tertiary hospitals in Shandong Province, China. The BR regimen was administered to evaluate its efficacy and safety in newly diagnosed B-iNHL and eMCL patients, and all completed at least four cycles of induction therapy.Results:The 72 enrolled patients with B-iNHL or MCL were aged 24-74 years, with a median age of 55 years. Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status scores of 0-1 were observed in 76.4% of patients, while 23.6% had scores of 2. Disease distribution included follicular lymphoma (FL) (51.4% ), marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) (33.3% ), eMCL (11.1% ), and the unknown subtype (4.2% ). According to the Ann Arbor staging system, 16.7% and 65.3% of patients were diagnosed with stage Ⅲ and stage Ⅳ lymphomas, respectively. Following four cycles of BR induction therapy, the overall response rate was 98.6%, with a complete response (CR) rate of 83.3% and a partial response (PR) rate of 15.3%. Only one eMCL patient experienced disease progression during treatment, and only one FL patient experienced a relapse. Even when evaluated using CT alone, the CR rate was 63.9%, considering the differences between PET/CT and CT assessments. The median follow-up duration was 11 months (range: 4-22), with a PFS rate of 96.8% and an OS rate of 100.0%. The main hematologic adverse reactions included grade 3-4 leukopenia (27.8%, with febrile neutropenia observed in 8.3% of patients), grade 3-4 lymphopenia (23.6% ), grade 3-4 anemia (5.6% ), and grade 3-4 thrombocytopenia (4.2% ). The main non-hematologic adverse reactions such as fatigue, nausea/vomiting, rash, and infections occurred in less than 20.0% of patients.Conclusion:Within the scope of this clinical trial conducted in China, the BR regimen demonstrated efficacy and safety in treating newly diagnosed B-iNHL and eMCL patients.

Objective:To identify the risk factors of cognitive dysfunction in patients with atrial fibrillation and to establish a risk prediction model.Methods:The convenience sampling method was used to evaluate 260 patients with atrial fibrillation who were hospitalized in the Department of Cardiology of the Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical College from January to December 2020. The cognitive function of the patients was evaluated with the Montreal Cognitive Function Assessment Scale (MoCA). Univariate analysis was used to screen the independent variables that had influence on the occurrence of cognitive dysfunction, and the statistically significant variables were included in the multivariate Logistic regression model. According to the regression coefficients of statistically significant variables, a line map was drawn to construct the risk prediction model of cognitive dysfunction in patients with atrial fibrillation.Results:There were 209 cases with cognitive impairment and 51 cases without cognitive impairment. Univariate analysis showed that sex, age, smoking history, drinking history, education level, free thyroxine, hemoglobin, D-dimer and BMI ( χ2 values were 4.08-18.83, t values were -6.04-2.94, Z=-2.76) were significantly different between the patients with or without cognitive dysfunction. The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age ( OR values were 1.13), education level ( OR=0.01-0.05), quit smoking history ( OR=0.36), drinking history ( OR=0.35) and free thyroxine( OR=1.14) had significantly statistical significance ( P<0.05). The area under ROC curve (AUC) = 0.878 and AUC>0.8, this model had good clinical prediction ability. Conclusions:The construction of cognitive dysfunction risk prediction model for patients with atrial fibrillation can prevent or intervene high risk factors in advance, facilitate clinical use, and provide data support for the improvement of cognitive function in patients with atrial fibrillation.

Malignant tumors usually have no obvious clinical symptoms in the early stage. Most patients are already in the advanced stage when they are diagnosed. Some patients have lost the opportunity for operation, resulting in poor prognosis. Therefore, how to find the best therapeutic target for such patients and improve the prognosis of patients has gradually become the focus of scholar′s attention. Recently, Kruppel-like factor (KLF) is a transcriptional regulator that can bind to the target DNA, and its family plays an important role in the occurrence and development of malignant tumors. It has also been confirmed that the KLF family affects the proliferation, differentiation and migration of tumor cells, but the specific mechanism is still not fully elucidate. Consequently, in order to further explored the effect of the KLF family on tumors, this study intends to briefly review the roles and regulatory mechanisms of the KLF family in the cell proliferation, differentiation and migration of malignant tumors, hoping to provide new target for the biological treatment of tumors.

Objective:To explore effects of the total number of night shifts on BMI of medical workers in recent 5 years.Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study. Using the convenient sampling method, data of medical workers in Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University were collected from January 2016 to December 2020. The medical examination data of medical workers were obtained from the electronic information system of medical examination center, and the number of night shift and basic information of medical workers are extracted from the human resource management department. The covariates in this study included categorical variables and continuous variables. Categorical variables included gender, job title and job type. Continuous variables included age, working years, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, white blood cells, red blood cells, hemoglobin, average hemoglobin volume, platelets, ALT, total bilirubin, total protein, albumin, urea, creatinine, uric acid, triacylglycerol, Total cholesterol, HDL-C, LDL-C and glucose. The relationship between the number of night shift and BMI was processed by generalized addition model and smoothing curve fitting.Results:Finally, a total of 908 medical workers were selected for data analysis. The average number of night shifts for 908 medical workers in 5 years was (339.0±30.8) , and the average BMI was (22.88±2.08) kg/m 2. After adjusting for confounding factors, the number of night shift showed a non-linear relationship with BMI, and the number of inflection points was 634. On the left of the inflection point, there was no significant relationship between the number of night shifts and BMI ( P=0.829) . The relationship between the two on the right side of the inflection point was significant, the effect size and 95% confidence interval were 0.02 and 0.01-0.03, respectively. Conclusions:BMI value of medical workers increases significantly with the increase of night shift number when the number of night shift is more than 634 in recent 5 years. Hospital managers can calculate and plan the number of night shifts per year to reduce the effect of night shifts on the health of medical workers.

Objective:To explore the key influencing factors of public protective action from the angle of risk perception, protective cognition and authority trust so as to build the public protective action decision model in city with COVID-19.Methods:From 2ed February, 2020 to 6th February, 2020, we carried out cross-sectional investigation among 1 201 publics selected by convenience sampling with the "Wen Juan Xing" electronic questionnaire collection system. The investigation tool included the general information questionnaire and the COVID-19 public protective decision-making scale. SPSS 22.0 was used to data statistics and AMOS 23.0 was applied to explore correlations among four variables, risk perception, protective cognition, authority trust and protective action, so as to build the COVID-19 public protective action decision model.Results:The structural equation model had a high level of goodness-of-fit, the direct effect of risk perception on protective action was 0.410; the direct effect of protective cognition on protective action was 0.070; the total effect of authority trust on protective action was 0.377.Conclusions:In China, the public have good compliance of protective action. The model can effectively forecast the protective action of COVID-19 among city publics.

Objective To observe the effects of proximal gastric electrical stimulation (GES) on body weight and gastrointestinal motility in SD rats,and investigate the regulation of gastric nerve stimulation and serum gastrointestinal hormones by neuro-humoral regulation.Methods 12 SD rats were divided into experimental group (n =6) and control group (n =6),with gastric electrical stimulator implanted,and in experimental group dual-channel GES was activated.General status was observed for 4 weeks after GES activation,including body weight,feeding and water intake,urine and stool volumes,the resting gastric volume and gastric emptying were monitored via the establishment of intestinal fistula,and serum gastrointestinal hormones change was detected.Results During 4-week GES process,one rat had gastric retention and died at 1 week after GES activated.Compared with the control group,body weight,food intake,urine and stool volumes levels of the rats in experimental group decreased significantly (t =4.005,2.530,3.350,all P＜0.05).Resting gastric volume was significantly lower than that in the control group [(2.93 ± 0.50) ml vs.(5.10 ± 0.53) ml,Z =2.460,P =0.014],and the intestinal juice drainage was lower than the control group [(0.18 ±0.15)ml vs.(0.44 ±0.05)ml,Z =2.513,P =0.012],while serum GLP-1 levels were similar between the two groups [(0.44 ± 0.05) ml vs.(0.18 ± 0.15) ml,Z =1.026,P =0.305],but Ghrelin was significantly higher than that in the control group [(1.65 ± 0.58) vs.(0.65 ±0.36),Z =2.380,P =0.017].Conclusion The proximal GES may lead to the change of the body weight,food intake,gastrointestinal function and motility,possibly by stimulating nerve reflex inducing gastrointestinal hormones secretion and affect gastrointestinal function.

Objective To explore the function of Notch-3 in epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT) and prognosis of pancreatic cancer patients.Methods Patients who received radical resection for pancreatic cancer in our hospital between January 2004 and October 2012 were included in this study.Immunohistochemical staining was performed with Notch-3,E-cadherin and Vimentin antibodies.Imaging pro plus 3.0 was used for analyzing the staining intensity.Survival analysis was performed using Kaplan-Meier method.Results Sixty-seven patients were included.Low expression of E-cadherin was detected in 61.2％ (41/67) of patients,while high expression of Vimentin and Notch-3 was found in 65.6％ (44/67) and 59.7％ (40/67),respectively.Notch-3 expression was proportional to Vimentin expression (R2 =0.872,P ＜ O.05),while inversely proportional to E-cadherin expression (R2 =0.570,P ＜ 0.05).Median overall survival time in high expression group of E-cadherin,Vimentin and Notch-3 was (25.2 ± 2.3) months,(14.8 ±0.9) months and (15.8 ±0.8) months.While in low expression group,the median overall survival time was (14.3 ± 1.0) months,(25.5 ± 2.4) months and (25.1 ± 2.9) months,respectively.There were significant differences between these two groups (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Notch-3 expression was associated with EMT process in pancreatic cancer patients.Low expression of E-cadherin and high expression of Vimentin and Notch-3 predicated poor prognosis of pancreatic cancer.

Objective Through the assessment of clinical practice ability to improve the core competence of nursing staff. Methods Integrate the "Three points system" into the daily nursing work, to improve the core competence of the nursing staff by setting the method of assessing the clinical practice ability. Results Through training and assessment, application of nursing procedures, communication, emergency handling capacity, skills andhumanistic care ability of nursing staffbeforeassessment were 41.23±2.43, 14.32±1.23, 12.47±2.12, 24.32±2.23, 40.21±2.24, and the scores were 48.38±0.76, 19.14± 0.85, 18.79 ± 1.13, 28.89 ± 0.94, 49.31 ± 0.87 after the assessment.There were statistically significant difference (t=-46.69--22.68,P<0.01). Conclusions The "three point system" can significantly improve the core competency of nurses in the daily work of nurses. This training mode provides a good basis for nurses to participate in disaster relief work.

The article describes the epidemiology of spinal cord injury (SCI), the measurement methods and affecting factors of post-traumatic growth of SCI patients and treatment strategy of promoting post-traumatic growth of SCI patients. The purposes of the article are to provide help of promote positive psychological changes and improve the quality of life of SCI patients.

BACKGROUND: Splint fixation was a common treatment for limb fracture, but there were some limitations, such as lack of individual difference, easy to lose and being unable to self-adjusting.OBJECTIVE: To explore the design method of digital splint and related finite element analysis.METHODS: Forearms were scanned with CT; periphery parameters were extracted, followed by reverse modeling and modifying. The digital splint models were constructed. Material attribute and mechanical loading were conducted. Thelimb length, maximum stress and displacement of the bone, soft tissue and splint were calculated by finite elementanalysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The digital splint has favorable tight attaching and balanced stress to skin, and whichkeeps well stability for the micro-motion fracture ends. Our study indicated that better tight attaching splint could bedesigned by digital modeling technology. Favorable fracture fixation and mechanical property could be also achieved.
