Objective To systematically evaluate the risk prediction models for acute kidney injury in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) based on machine learning, providing a reference for clinical selection of appropriate risk assessment tools. Methods Clinical studies using machine learning methods for predicting the risk of acute kidney injury in ACS patients were retrieved from PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, Web of Science core database, CNKI, Wanfang Database, CBM, and VIP. The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to May 24, 2025. The quality of the models were evaluated using the prediction model risk of bias assessment tool. Results Nine articles were included, and a total of 58 prediction models were constructed using 20 machine learning methods. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve ranged from 0.733 to 0.894. The most commonly used predictors were age and creatinine. The overall bias risk of the included studies was relatively high, but the applicability was good.Conclusion Machine learning models can identify the risk of acute kidney injury in ACS patients. All models have good predictive potential, but they are still in the development stage. It is recommended that future studies adopt prospective design with external validation to improve the stability and predictive accuracy of the models.

OBJECTIVE To observe the expressions of micro ribonucleic acid-129-5p(miR-129-5p),interleukin-6(IL-6)/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 gene(STAT3)/helper T cell 17(Th17)signaling path-ways in peripheral blood of the sepsis children complicated with pulmonary infection and analyze the clinical signif-icance.METHODS A total of 123 sepsis children who were complicated with pulmonary infection and were treated in the 971st Hospital of the Navy of The Chinese People's Liberation Army,the 904 Hospital of the Joint Logis-tics Support Force of the People's Liberation Army and Qingdao Women's and Children's Hospital from Jan.2020 to Dec.2023 were assigned as the sepsis complicated with pulmonary infection group,meanwhile,55 sepsis children who were not complicated with pulmonary infection were chosen as the simple sepsis group.The expres-sion levels of miR-129-5p,IL-6 mRNA,STAT3 mRNA and Th17 mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)were statistically analyzed.Receiver operating characteristics(ROC)curves were drawn to analyze the efficiencies of miR-129-5p and IL-6/STAT3/Th17 pathways in prediction of poor prognosis of the sepsis children with pulmonary infection.RESULTS The miR-129-5p level of the sepsis complicated with pulmonary infection group was lower than that of the simple sepsis group,while the levels of IL-6 mRNA,STAT3 mRNA and Th17 mRNA of the sepsis complicated with pulmonary infection group were higher than those of the simple sepsis group(all P＜0.05).With the aggravation of illness condition,the miR-129-5p level was reduced,and the levels of IL-6 mRNA,STAT3 mRNA and Th17 mRNA were elevated(all P＜0.05).The miR-129-5p level of the poor prog-nosis group was lower than that of the favorable prognosis group,while the levels of IL-6 mRNA,STAT3 mRNA and Th17 mRNA of the poor prognosis group was higher than those of the favorable prognosis group(all P＜0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve(AUC)of miR-129-5p was the largest(0.887)in prediction of the poor prognosis of the sepsis children complicated with pulmonary infection(P＜0.05).CONCLUSION The sepsis children complicated with pulmonary infection show the decline of expression level of peripheral blood miR-129-5p and enhancement of activation degree of IL-6/STAT3/Th17 pathways,which can be used as the indexes for assessment of illness condition and as auxiliary indexes for assessment of prognosis.

Heart failure,as a global public health challenge,is experiencing an increasingly severe disease burden.Given the close relationship be-tween the Nitric Oxide-Soluble Guanylate Cyclase-Cyclic Guanosine Monophosphate(NO-sGC-cGMP)signaling pathway and heart failure,this study,through a comprehensive search and review of re-cent literature on the NO-sGC-cGMP pathway and heart failure,aims to outline the mechanism of ac-tion of this signaling pathway and its connection with heart failure,in order to explore new avenues for the treatment of heart failure.

Objective To quantitatively analyze the energy loss ( EL) of the left ventricle in dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) by vector flow mapping (VFM). Methods Sixty-four DCM patients confirmed by clinical were enrolled and divided into three groups according to the level of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF):mild decreased LVEF group(group A,40% ≤ LVEF＜ 50% ),moderate decreased LVEF group ( group B,30% ≤LVEF＜40% ) and severe decreased LVEF group ( group C,LVEF＜30% ). Forty healthy volunteers were selected as control group ( group D,53% ≤ LVEF≤73% ) for physical examination. The images of apical four-chamber and three-chamber in color Doppler echocardiography were acquired and EL was analyzed in different phases in a cardiac cycle. Results There was no significant difference of the EL in isovolumic systole and isovolumic diastole between DCM groups and the control group ( P ＞ 0.05). In rapid and slow ejection period,the EL in group B and C were much lower than those in the control group ( P＜0.05). In rapid filling phase,the EL in DCM groups were much lower than that in the control group ( P＜0.05).While in slow filling period and atrial systole the EL in group C was lower than that in the control group ( P ＜0.05). Conclusions VFM provides a new perspective for the cardiac function study of DCM patients.

Colistin is a kind of old cationic drug,which can interfere bacterial cell membrane,thus to cause bacterial death.It is mainly used for the treatment of infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria,and its antimicrobial activity against multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria is also very significant.At present,colistin is widely used in veterinary medicine.This article aims to review colistin in chemical,pharmacological,and pharmacokinetic studies,and also summarizes the application and resistance of this drug,which will provide reference for the reasonable selection and use of this drug in animals.

Objective To quantitatively investigate the dynamic changes of aortic-mitral angle (AMA) using real-time three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography (RT3D-TEE) in the whole cardiac cycle. Methods RT3D-TEE was performed in 19 patients in West China Hospital of Sichuan University in January to March 2016. Custom software of Acuson-4.0 eSie Valves was used to detect and track the mitral and aortic annuli in 3D space throughout the cardiac cycle, allowing automated measurement of changes in AMA. The dynamic changes of AMA during a whole cardiac cycle were observed using paired t test. And the inter-observer and intra-observer variability were evaluated by Bland-Altman analysis. Results AMA was smaller in systole than in diastole (111.35°±10.68°vs. 118.14°±10.89°, t=-2.56, P < 0.05).The inter-observer and intra-observer repeatability were good,and the 95% confidence interval was (-6.6°, 5.6°) and (-7.1°, 8.7°) (r=0.80, P=0.0055 and r=0.69, P=0.0283). Conclusions Quantitative measurement of the AMA by RT3D-TEE is feasible, with good inter-observer and intra-observer agreement. These parameters may contribute to the implementation of the aortic or mitral valves replacement.

Objective To explore the serum level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) of the patients with asymptomatic and symptomatic peripheral artery disease (PAD) in diabetics for providing evidence for screening the patients with PAD early. Methods Selected the study population including diabetics without PAD(90 cases),diabetics with asymptomatic PAD patients(93 cases)and diabetics with symptomatic PAD patients(92 cases). The level of serum VEGF was measured using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and analyzed in the three groups. The varia-tion of serum VEGF was further analyzed in the three groups excluding the diabetic retinopathy in the stratified analysis. Results The serum level of VEGF with asymptomatic and symptomatic PAD in diabetics were increased,compared with the diabetics without PAD (P<0.05). Excluding the patients with diabetic retinopathy, the serum level of VEGF of the patients with asymptomatic and symptomatic PAD in diabet ics was still increased, compared with the dia betics without PAD (P<0.05). The serum level of VEGF level was significantly positively associated with HbA1c in the pa-tients with asymptomatic and symptomatic PAD in diabetics (r=0.267, 0.352, P all<0.05). Conclusion The level of serum VEGF in the patients with asymptomatic and symptomatic PAD in diabetics had been significantly increased.
