Objective To explore the predictive value of myocardial vitality in the improvement of cardiac function after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in patients with ischemic heart failure. Methods From December 8, 2015 to November 12, 2018, 46 patients with ischemic heart failure who underwent CABG operation alone were collected retrospectively. There were 41 males and 5 females with an average age of 60.4±8.0 years. The myocardial vitality and number of different types of myocardium were measured. The clinical data of patients in the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) improvement group (≥5%) and non-improvement group (<5%) were compared and analyzed. The correlation between each index and LVEF improvement was analyzed by logistic multivariate regression analysis, and the boundary value of hibernating myocardium between LVEF improvement and non-improvement was obtained by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Results There were significant differences in the number of hibernating myocardium (15.0%±12.3% vs. 4.3%±4.5%, P=0.000), the number of normal myocardium (74.7%±13.7% vs. 82.4%±8.6%, P=0.027), and cardiac function classification (NYHA) development (−0.7±0.7 vs. −0.3±0.5, P=0.047) between the two groups, but there was no significant difference in other indexes between the two groups (P>0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that the number of hibernating myocardium was an independent factor affecting the improvement of LVEF after CABG in patients with ischemic heart failure (OR=1.366, 95%CI 1.033-1.807, P=0.029). The ROC curve showed that the threshold value, sensitivity and specificity of hibernating myocardium were 15.0%, 43.8% and 100.0%, respectively. Conclusion The percentage of hibernating myocardium to left ventricular wall area ≥15.0% can accurately predict the improvement of LVEF in patients with ischemic heart failure after CABG. Preoperative myocardial vitality assessment has important diagnostic value in predicting the improvement of cardiac function in patients with ischemic heart failure after simple CABG.

Objective:Serum cytokines and chemokines in patients with fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) and the severity of the disease was studied. Methods:Serum of 47 SFTS patients from 2014 to 2017 in Jinan city was collected. Serum of 11 dead patients and 36 survivors were selected as the survival group and serum of 10 healthy people was selected as the control group. Luminex liquid phase chip was used to detect and analyze the expression levels of 40 cytokines and chemokines in peripheral blood. Results:The expression levels of 27 cytokines and chemokines in the death group were significantly higher than those in the control group ( P<0.05). The expression level of 33 cytokines and chemokines in the death group was significantly higher than that in the survival group ( P<0.05). The expression level of 12 cytokines and chemokines in the survival group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P<0.05). The expression levels of 10 cytokines and chemokines in the patients were increased in different degrees during the recovery period compared with the acute period ( P<0.05). The expression levels of 5 cytokines and chemokines were lower in the recovery period than in the acute period ( P<0.05). Receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve) analysis showed that 22 factors were statistically significant and could be used as biomarkers to predict the severity of the disease. Conclusions:The expression levels of various cytokines and chemokines in serum of SFTS patients changed significantly during the development of the disease and the cytokine storm caused by SFTS may be the cause of death.

Objective:
To design and evaluate a new method for measuring the center of rotation of the hip joint, and to compare it with the traditional methods.
Methods:
Data of healthy hips of 120 total hip arthroplasty (THA) patients (120 hips) and bilateral hips of 20 healthy volumteers (40 hips) were collected. A series of X-rays and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were taken from each patient with the hip joint abductted at differenct angles (0°, 7.5°, 15°, and 22.5°). The motion track of rotation center was obtained by comparing these X-ray and MRI images. The preoperative and postoperative data of 67 surgical patients who underwent two different measurement methods before surgery were compared.
Results:
Compared with traditional measurement methods, the accuracy of our new method was significantly improved; the results of hip MRI verified the objectivity and accuracy of our new method; preoperative measurements and postoperative follow-up results showed that our new method had a better clinical effect than traditional measurements.
Conclusions
The team′s innovative new measurement method based on pelvic orthotopic X-ray photographs with different abduction angles of the hip shows more accurate data than traditional measurement methods and shows better clinical results.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2019;40(8):1220-1223
Objective:
To understand the current situation of toilet facilities among rural primary schools and toilet-using behavior among primary students, and to provide a reference for improving school environment.
Methods:
Totally 149 students in 2 rural non-boarding primary schools in northern China were selected. and on-site observation and questionnaire survey were used to obtain the current situation of toilet hygiene, toilet time and toilet behavior, as well as feelings towards school toilet. The results of the survey were statistically analyzed by using SAS 9.4.
Methods:
Both two schools were deep pit latrine, the number of pit in female toilets is lower than the requirements of the “Code for design of school”, and the urinal trough and the number of pit in male toilet meet the standard requirements. The average total time of toilet-using was (28.46±11.72)s for boys and (42.48±15.52)s for girls, the difference was of significant difference (t=-7.96, P<0.01). The average actual time of toilet-using is (24.27±9.13)s for boys and (24.69±9.40)s for girls, with no statistical difference. The result showed that school 2 was better than school 1 in the behavior of urinating frequency in toilet, queuing when using toilet, and the way to express needs of toilet-using in class(χ2=11.70,27.19,17.74,P<0.05); senior students use less toilets than lower grade students. The main complains for students in school toilet hygiene is its bad smell(χ2=5.28,13.18,P<0.05).
Conclusion
Primary school students in northern China always take bathroom breaks in the morning, and the average time of toilet-using is different from that of adults. Senior students are more willing to express their toilet needs than lower grade students. Students are not satisfied with the hygiene of school toilets, and the toilet experience is poor.

A liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometer(LC-Q/TOF-MS) based urinary metabolomic approach was employed to assess the toxicity-alleviation effect of Huangqi oral solution(HOs) on cisplatin-exposed rats and explore its possible mechanisms. Rat toxicity model was developed by multiple intraperitoneal injection of low-dose cisplatin, while HOs was orally administrated to rats simultaneously for 16 consecutive days to attenuate or reduce the cisplatin-induced toxicity. 24-hour urine samples on day 18 were collected and analyzed using LC-Q/TOF-MS to obtain the dataset of urinary metabolites. Principal component analysis(PCA) and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA) were employed to assess the quality of the dataset and screen the potential toxicity-alleviation biomarkers. The serum level of rat creatinine and urea nitrogen on day 20 was determined, and the results showed that successive administration of HOs significantly reduced the cisplatin-induced increase of creatinine and urea nitrogen. PCA cluster analysis clearly demonstrated that HOs could partly improve the CDDP-induced abnormality of metabolic profiling. 35 urinary metabolites were finally screened as the potential biomarkers associated with the toxicity-attenuation effect of HOs, according to the combination of the analysis results of OPLS-DA, t-test and fold change analysis. Further metabolic pathway analysis revealed that HOs could restore the metabolic disorders of amino acid, energy and nucleotide, thereby exerted its toxicity-alleviation effect.

Objective To explore the relationship between accessory renal artery(ARA)and essential hypertension, and the possible mechanism using CT angiography(CTA).Methods The patients who underwent CTA examination on renal artery were reviewed retrospectively in our hospital.A variety of CTA reconstruction techniques were used to observe the type and number of ARA,as well as the diameter of ARA and the main renal artery. Results A total of 126 ARA(66 left ARA and 60 right ARA)were found in 253 patients. 10% of the patients had more than two ARAs.In 164 patients with essential hypertension,ARA detection rate was 40.2%(66/164).In the non-hypertension patients, the proportion of ARA was 31.5%(28/89).There was higher proportion of young(P=0.002)and male (P=0.022)patients in ARA hypertension group compared with ARA non-hypertension group. There were no significant differences on the prevalence of type(P=0.826)and number of ARA(P=0.501)between these two groups. In all of the patients with single ARA,no significant differences were detected on the ratios of diameter of ARA and main renal artery between the two groups(P=0.32). However,in ARA hypertension group, the diameter of main renal artery on the ARA side was significantly smaller than that on the opposite side(P=0.01).In non-hypertension ARA group,no statistical difference was found between the diameter of bilateral main renal arteries(P=0.06).Conclusion ARA is more prevalent in essential hypertensive patients, especially in young male. The decrease of the diameter of main renal artery in the ARA side may be a possible mechanism for essential hypertension.
