Objective:To evaluate the clinical curative effect of invigorating the spleen and kidney and regulating menstrual cycle treament combined with Dong's extra-point acupuncture on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).Methods:According to random number table method, 70 patients with PCOS meeting inclusion criteria in the hospital were divided into western medicine group (23 cases), TCM group (23 cases) and combination group (24 cases) between January and December 2020. The western medicine was treated with ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate tablets, TCM group was treated with invigorating the spleen and kidney and regulating menstrual cycle treatment, and combination group was treated with invigorating the spleen and kidney and regulating menstrual cycle treatment and Dong's extra-point acupuncture. All the three groups were treated continuously for 3 menstrual cycles. Before and after treatment, levels of testosterone, estradiol, FSH and LH were detected by full-automatic immunoluminescence analyzer. The ovaries were detected by color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic apparatus. The ovarian volume, number of follicles and adverse reactions were recorded. The clinical curative effect was evaluated. Results:The differences in total response rate among western medicine group, TCM group and combination group were statistically significant [52.17% (12/23), 60.87% (14/23) vs. 87.50% (21/24), P<0.05]. After treatment, levels of testosterone [(1.02±0.12) μg/L vs. (1.23±0.25) μg/L, (1.46±0.19) μg/L, F=30.47], estradiol [(40.18±12.31) ng/L vs. (48.62±12.58) ng/L, (50.73±12.37) ng/L, F=4.78] and LH [(6.87±2.45) U/L vs. (8.28±2.29) U/L, (8.54±2.51) U/L, F=3.26] in combination group were significantly lower than those in the TCM group and western medicine group ( P<0.05). After treatment, ovarian volume [(7.05±2.34) m 3vs. (8.79±2.11) m 3, (9.12±2.18) m 3, F=5.97] in combination group was significantly lower than that in TCM group and western medicine group ( P<0.05), and number of follicles (<10 mm) (8.28±2.24 vs. 9.67±2.40, 10.15±2.64, F=3.77) was significantly lower than that of TCM group and western medicine group ( P<0.05). During treatment, difference in incidence of adverse reactions among western medicine group, Tiaozhou group and combination group was not statistically significant [21.7% (5/23), 13.0% (3/23) vs. 8.3% (2/24), P>0.05]. Conclusion:The invigorating the spleen and kidney and regulating menstrual cycle treatment combined with Dong's extra-point acupuncture can regulate levels of sex hormones, promote follicles development and ovulation, and improve ovarian morphology of PCOS patients safely.

Objective To analyze the composition and distribution of pathogens from 1366 superficial candidiasis cases in Shanghai. Methods Candida species identification was carried out for 1366 adults or children with superficial candidiasis by using CHROMagar Candida plates,API20C AUX system, etc.Pal's agar,Xylose assimilation and the test for growth at 45 ℃ were utilized to differentiate Candida dubliniensis.Newly identified pathogenic Candida species including Candida orthopsilosis,Candida metapsilosis,Candida fermentati,Candida nivariensis and Candida bracarensis were differentiated by molecular biological methods. Finally, the composition and distribution of pathogens in superficial candidiasis cases were statistically analyzed. Results A total of 1366 Candida strains, included 2 Candida orthopsilosis strains and 4 Candida metapsilosis strains, were isolated from these cases.Among these isolates,Candida albicans predominated(79.0%),followed by Candida parapsilosis(9.5%),Candida tropicalis(2.9%)and Candida guilliermondii(1.9%).The composition of Candida species was significantly different between child and adult patients(x2 =196.46,P < 0.01),with the isolation rate of non-albicans Candida species being 14.4% and 45.8% respectively in child and adult patients. Conclusions Candida albicans is still the dominant pathogen of superficial candidiasis.Candida orthopsilosis and Candida metapsilosis can cause superficial candidiasis. The isolation rote of non-albicans Candida species is higher in adult patients than in child patients.

Objective To evaluate the role of Restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis in detection of the fragment of GEF1α/a gene which are both located at ct and a mating type loci in identification of species, varieties, genotypes and mating types of Cryptococcus neoformans species complex(Cryptococcus neoformans and Cryptococcus gattii). Methods The GEF1α/a gene was selected from 20 genes which both located at α and a mating type loci for RFLP analysis, according to the requirements of sequence similarities and primer design in PCR-RFLP analysis. Primer pair was designed from the conserved regions of GEF1α/a genes of distinct genotypes and mating types of reference strains to amplify a fragment of GEF1α/a gene from Cryptococcus neoformans and Cryptococcns gattii strains tested. Sequence alignment, restriction maps analysis, endonucleases selection and electrophoresis stimulation were conducted by using DNAMAN and Vector NTI software. EeoT14 Ⅰ and Hap Ⅱ endonucleases were selected for RFLP analysis of the GEF1α/a fragments amplified from 125 isolates of Cryptococcns neoformans and Cryptococcus gattii. Results An approximate 1 300 bp fragment was amplified from total 82 Cryptococcus neoformans and 43 Cryptoceccus gattii isolates. However, negative PCR results were found in the reference strains of Cryptococcus laurentii, Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis, Candida parapsilosis, Candida krnsei,Candida glabrata, Trichosporon asahii, Aspergillus fumigatns and Aspergillus flavus. RFLP analysis successfully identified the species, varieties, genotypes and mating types of total 125 isolates of Cryptococcus neoformans and Cryptococcns gattii tested in this study. Condusion PCR-RFLP analysis of the GEF1α/a fragment has the potential value in identification of species, varieties, genotypes and mating types of Cryptococeus neoformans species complex simultaneously and rapidly, and may be a useful tool in molecular epidemiological analysis.

Objective To further study the value of MR T2WI fat saturation sequence in acute Spinal Trauma. Methods 109 cases of acute Spinal Trauma underwent MR imaging were analysed retrospectively. The detection rate of lesions with bone marrow edema, Vertebral fracture and spinal cord injury was compared in T2WI and FS T2WI. Results FS T2WI could detect more lesions of obscure fracture and bone marrow edema than that in T2WI,and it could accurately show the extent and the feature of anatomic structure in acute injury of bone. Conclusion FS T2WI can improve the diagnostic sensition and accuracy in Spinal Trauma, and it should be used as a routine MR sequence for detecting Spinal Trauma.

Objective To study the imaging features of Scheuermann disease and compare the value of MRI, X-Ray and CT images in diagnosis of this disease. Methods The images of 14 Scheuermann disease patients were analyzed retrospectively. Results The pathological changed vertebraes have wedge-shaped changes in different degree. The edges of the vertebraes manifest roughness and have become step-shaped, or Schmorl′s nodes were demonstrated. Conclusion The multi-vertebraes wedge-shaped changes and the Schmorl′s nodes are the main imaging features of Scheuermann disease. The pathological change occurs in the different spine segments, and the imaging features are not completely same. X-Ray and MRI images are more important in diagnosis of this disease. MRI Multi-direction imaging displays clearly the Schmorl′s nodes, marrow dropsy, the fat accumulation and the intervertebral disc denaturation. What′s more important is that MRI has its own superiority in the differential diagnosis of this disease.
