Objective:To explore the correlation among disease uncertainty,quality of life and psychological resilience in patients undergoing radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer.Methods:This study was a prospective study.A total of 106 patients who underwent radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer and were admitted to Shanxi Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital from July 2023 to July 2024 were included in observation group.Connor-davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC),Mishel disease uncertainty scale(MUIS)and European qrganization for research and treatment of cancer quality of life questionnaire-C30(EORCT QLQ-C30)were used to evaluate the psychological resilience,disease uncertainty and quality of life of observation group.Pearson test was used to analyze the correlations among disease uncertainty,quality of life and psychological resilience in patients undergoing radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to investigate the influencing factors of decreased postoperative psychological resilience in patients undergoing radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer.Result:Pearson test analysis showed that,the MUIS score and EORCT QLQ-C30 score of patients undergoing radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer was negatively correlated with CD-RISC(P＜0.05).Through univariate analysis,age,educational level,annual family income,MUIS and EORCT QLQ-C30 were the influencing factors of decreased psychological resilience in patients undergoing radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer(P＜0.05).Multivariate logistic analysis showed that,increased age,educational level of primary school or below,annual family income＜50,000 yuan,increased MUIS score and increased EORCT QLQ-C30 score were independent risk factors for decreased psychological resilience in patients undergoing radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer.Conclusion:The disease uncertainty,quality of life and psychological resilience of patients undergoing radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer are negatively correlated.Increased age,educational level of primary school or below,annual family income＜50,000 yuan,increased MUIS score and increased EORCT QLQ-C30 score are independent risk factors for decreased psychological resilience in patients undergoing radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer.

Objective:To investigate the correlation between postoperative perceived stress,quality of life and fear of cancer recurrence(FCR)in elderly non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients.Methods:This study was a prospective research design,a total of 147 elderly NSCLC patients who visited Shanxi Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital from January 2023 to June 2024 were prospectively selected for the study.All patients underwent thoracoscopic lobectomy.FCR in patients was evaluated by fear of disease progression simplified scale(FoP-Q-SF),and they were divided into dysregulation group and non dysregulation group according to the FoP-Q-SF score.Quality of life was evaluated by functional assessment of cancer therapy-lung cancer(FACT-L).Perceived stress was evaluated by Chinese version of the perceived stress scale(CPSS)score.The scores of postoperative perceived stress,quality of life and postoperative FCR in elderly NSCLC patients were analyzed,and the influence of demographic and clinical characteristics on the postoperative FCR in elderly NSCLC patients.The postoperative perceived stress and quality of life scores of elderly NSCLC patients with different FCR were compared,the correlation between postoperative FCR and perceived stress and quality of life in elderly NSCLC patients were analyzed,as well as the model fitting index of the influence of postoperative perceived stress and quality of life on FCR in elderly NSCLC patients.Results:The postoperative CPSS score in elderly NSCLC patients was(52.17±4.02)points,the FACT-L score was(80.39±4.56)points,and the total score of FoP-Q-SF was(31.16±8.69)points.Family relationship,economic burden of disease,chemotherapy and clinical stage were closely associated with the postoperative FCR in elderly NSCLC patients(P＜0.05).The CPSS score in dysregulation group was higher than that in nondysregulation group,and the FACT-L score was lower than that in nondysregulation group(P＜0.05).Pearson correlation analysis,postoperative FCR in elderly NSCLC patients was positively correlated with perceived stress,but negatively correlated with quality of life(P＜0.05).The postoperative quality of life in elderly NSCLC patients was recorded as the independent variable,the postoperative perceived stress was recorded as the mediating variable,and the postoperative FCR was recorded as the dependent variable,a structural model of the mediating effect was routinely constructed.The results showed that the model fits well.Quality of life had a direct negative predictive effect on postoperative FCR in elderly NSCLC patients(P＜0.05),and could affect FCR through postoperative perceived pressure(P＜0.05),with the mediating effect accounting for 34.15％of the total effect.After repeatedly sampling the data using the Bootstrap method and implementing the mediating effect,the 95％CI of each model path did not include 0,indicating that the difference in the mediating effect was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Postoperative FCR in elderly NSCLC patients is positively correlated with perceived stress,but negatively correlated with quality of life,clinically,monitoring such indicators can be considered to better evaluate the postoperative FCR in elderly NSCLC patients.

Objective:To explore the incidence characteristics and correlation analysis of Western dryness syndrome in pulmonary tuberculosis patients in Moyu County,Hetian Prefecture,Xinjiang,and to provide a basis for the prevention and treatment strategies and effectiveness evaluation of pulmonary tuberculosis in Xinjiang.Methods:89 confirmed cases of pulmonary tuberculosis in Moyu County,Hotian Prefecture,Xinjiang from October 2023 to October 2024 were selected as the case group,and 117 healthy individuals matched with the case group in terms of gender,age,and education level in Moyu County,Hotian Prefecture,Xinjiang during the same period were selected as the control group.The general information and incidence of Northwest dryness syndrome between two groups were compared.The incidence and severity of Northwest dryness syndrome in tuberculosis patients,as well as the main and secondary syndrome scores of Northwest dryness syndrome were analyzed.The influencing factors of pulmonary tuberculosis were analyzed.The scores of the main syndrome of Northwest dryness syndrome(lung wei kong pi dryness syndrome)and the concurrent syndrome of Northwest dryness syndrome(heart kidney yin deficiency syndrome,lung heart spleen wind fire dryness syndrome,liver kidney essence blood deficiency syndrome,spleen stomach dampness syndrome,spleen stomach yin deficiency syndrome)between the control group and the case group were compared.The correlation between pulmonary tuberculosis and the on set of Northwest dryness syndrome were analyzed by Spearman rank sum test.Results:There was no significant difference between the control group and the case group in terms of body mass index(BMI),age,education level,gender,etc.(P＞0.05).The incidence of Northwest dryness syndrome in the case group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The Northwest Dry Syndrome Scale score in the severe group was higher than that in the mild and moderate groups,and the Northwest Dry Syndrome Scale score in the moderate group was higher than that in the mild group(P＜0.05).Among 89 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis,the main syndrome of lung wei kong pi dryness syndrome had the highest number of cases,totaling 42 cases(47.19％).The highest number of concurrent syndromes were heart kidney yin deficiency syndrome,totaling 36 cases(40.45％),followed by spleen stomach yin deficiency syndrome,totaling 35 cases(39.33％).The results showed that suffering from Northwest dryness syndrome was a risk factor for pulmonary tuberculosis(P＜0.05).There were significant differences in the scores of the main syndrome of Northwest dryness(Lung Wei Kong Pi dryness syndrome),the concurrent syndrome of Northwest dryness(Lung Heart Spleen Wind Fire dryness syndrome),and the concurrent syndrome of Northwest dryness(Spleen Stomach Yin Deficiency syndrome)between the control group and the case group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of Northwest dryness syndrome(liver and kidney essence and blood deficiency syndrome),Northwest dryness syndrome(heart and kidney yin deficiency syndrome),and Northwest dryness syndrome(spleen and stomach dampness syndrome)between the control group and the case group(P＞0.05).The score of pulmonary tuberculosis syndrome was positively correlated with various types of Northwest dryness syndrome(P＜0.05),and there was a significant correlation at the 0.001 level between pulmonary Wei Kong Pi dryness syndrome,pulmonary heart spleen wind fire dryness syndrome,and spleen stomach dampness syndrome(P＜0.05).The correlation between liver and kidney essence and blood deficiency syndrome and spleen and stomach yin deficiency syndrome is significant at the 0.01 level(P＜0.05).The correlation between heart and kidney yin deficiency syndrome is significant at the 0.05 level(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The northwest dryness syndrome is related to the occurrence of pulmonary tuberculosis in Moyu County,Hotan Prefecture,Xinjiang,and is a risk factor for the occurrence of pulmonary tuberculosis.There is a significant positive correlation between the pulmonary tuberculosis syndrome score and various types of northwest dryness syndrome,among which the lung wei kong pi dryness syndrome,lung heart spleen wind fire dryness syndrome,and spleen stomach dampness syndrome have the most significant impact on the pulmonary nucleus syndrome score.

OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of thiotepa (TT)-containing conditioning regimens for allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) in children with inborn errors of immunity (IEI). METHODS: Clinical data of 22 children with IEI who underwent HSCT were retrospectively reviewed. Survival after HSCT was estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method. RESULTS: Nine patients received a traditional conditioning regimen (fludarabine + busulfan + cyclophosphamide/etoposide) and underwent peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (PBSCT). Thirteen patients received a TT-containing modified conditioning regimen (TT + fludarabine + busulfan + cyclophosphamide), including seven PBSCT and six umbilical cord blood transplantation (UCBT) cases. Successful engraftment with complete donor chimerism was achieved in all patients. Acute graft-versus-host disease occurred in 12 patients (one with grade III and the remaining with grade I-II). Chronic graft-versus-host disease occurred in one patient. The incidence of EB viremia in UCBT patients was lower than that in PBSCT patients (P<0.05). Over a median follow-up of 36.0 months, one death occurred. The 3-year overall survival (OS) rate was 100% for the modified regimen and 88.9% ± 10.5% for the traditional regimen (P=0.229). When comparing transplantation types, the 3-year OS rates were 100% for UCBT and 93.8% ± 6.1% for PBSCT (P>0.05), and the 3-year event-free survival rates were 100% and 87.1% ± 8.6%, respectively (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS TT-containing conditioning for allogeneic HSCT in children with IEI is safe and effective. Both UCBT and PBSCT may achieve high success rates.

Sophorae Flavescentis Radix is one of the commonly used traditional Chinese medicine in China, and a large amount of pharmaceutical residue generated during its processing and production is discarded as waste, which not only wastes resources but also pollutes the environment. Therefore, elucidating the chemical composition of the residue of Sophorae Flavescentis Radix and the differences between the residue and Sophorae Flavescentis Radix itself is of great significance for the comprehensive utilization of the residue. This study, based on ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS) technology combined with multivariate statistical methods, provides a thorough characterization, identification, and differential analysis of the overall components of Sophorae Flavescentis Radix and its residue. Firstly, 61 compounds in Sophorae Flavescentis Radix were rapidly identified based on their precise molecular weight, fragment ions, and compound abundance, using a self-constructed compound database. Among them, 41 compounds were found in the residue, mainly alkaloids and flavonoids. Secondly, through principal component analysis(PCA) and orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA), 15 key compounds differentiating Sophorae Flavescentis Radix from its residue were identified. These included highly polar alkaloids, such as oxymatrine and oxysophocarpine, which showed significantly reduced content in the residue, and less polar flavonoids, such as kurarinone and kuraridin, which were more abundant in the residue. In summary, this paper clarifies the overall composition, structure, and content differences between Sophorae Flavescentis Radix and its residue, suggesting that the residue of Sophorae Flavescentis Radix can be used as a raw material for the extraction of its high-activity components, with promising potential for development and application in cosmetics and daily care. This research provides a scientific basis for the future comprehensive utilization of Sophorae Flavescentis Radix and its residue.

Aim To investigate the synergistic sensiti-zation effect of saikosaponin D(SSD)combined with temozolomide(TMZ)on glioblastoma cells(GBM)and its molecular mechanism.Methods The sensitiv-ity of RG-2,U251 and LN-428 GBM cell lines to SSD and TMZ was analyzed by CCK-8 method combined with HE staining,and the optimal compatible concen-tration was screened.The effect of HE staining com-bined with Hoechst fluorescence staining on the prolif-eration of GBM cell line was detected by clonal forma-tion experiment.The autophagosome formation of GBM cells was observed by monodansylcadaverine(MDC)staining.The expression and distribution of endoplas-mic reticulum stress-related factors and apoptosis and autophagy proteins were detected by Western blot and ICC.Results The sensitivity order of GBM cells to TMZ was RG-2＞U251＞LN-428.The results of com-bined administration showed the synergistic inhibitory effect of SSD combined with TMZ on proliferation of GBM cell lines,which was confirmed by cell cloning formation experiment.Compared with the TMZ group,Hoechst fluorescence staining showed a significant in-crease in the number of nuclear bright staining in the combined administration group.MDC fluorescence staining showed that there were more dense green parti-cles in the cytoplasm of SSD/TMZ plus group than that of TMZ group.Western blot results showed that com-pared with TMZ group,the expression of ER stress markers GRP78,CHOP,p-PERK and ATF6 signifi-cantly increased in SSD/TMZ group(P＜0.05).The expressions of apoptosis proteins caspase-12,caspase-9,caspase-3,cleaved caspase-3,Bax and autophagy proteins LC3 and Beclin-1 significantly increased(P＜0.05),which were verified by ICC test.Conclusions SSD can cooperate with TMZ to inhibit the prolifera-tion of GBM cells and induce apoptosis and autophagy,and enhance the sensitivity of GBM cells to TMZ by ac-tivating endoplasmic reticulum stress pathway.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy on back-shu and front-mu points and external application on shenque(RN8)point for premature ovarian failure(POF).Methods A total of 62 patients with POF were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 31 patients in each group.The observation group was treated with acupuncture combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy on back-shu and front-mu points and external application on shenque point,and the control group was treated with hormone replacement therapy.After three months of treatment,the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated,and the changes in the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,as well as the ovarian volume,number of antral follicle,and antral follicle diameter of the patients in the two groups before and after treatment were observed.The changes of serum follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)and estradiol(E2)levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results(1)The total effective rate was 93.55%(29/31)in the observation group and 80.64%(25/31)in the control group.The efficacy of the observation group was significantly superior to that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).(2)After treatment,the serum FSH,LH and E2 levels of patients in the two groups were significantly improved(P＜0.05),and the improvement in the observation group was significantly superior to that in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).(3)After treatment,ovarian volume,number of antral follicle,and antral follicle diameter were significantly improved in the two groups(P＜0.05),and the improvement in the observation group was significantly superior to that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment of POF with acupuncture combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy on back-shu and front-mu points and external application on shenque point can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of the patients,conducive to the recovery of ovarian function,and significantly improve the sex hormone levels of the patients,with precise clinical efficacy.
