OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the differences between high-frequency ultrasound-guided manual detorsion combined with surgery (MD+S) and surgery alone in the treatment of testicular torsion, and to provide some new evidence for the timely diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
METHODS:
We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data on 134 cases of unilateral testicular torsion within 48 hours treated in our hospital by MD+S or by surgery alone from January 2015 to May 2022. We statistically analyzed the age distribution, and duration and degrees of testicular torsion, followed by comparison between the two groups.
RESULTS:
In the 134 cases, the median age of onset was 15 (13-19) years old, the median onset-to-visit time was 15 (8-25) hours, and the median degree of torsion was 360° (180°-1080°). Of the total number of patients, 21 underwent testicular excision and the other 113 were treated with the testis preserved, with no statistically significant difference in age distribution between the two groups (P>0.05), and a higher rate of testis resection in those with longer duration and greater angle of torsion (P<0.05). Totally, 33 of the patients were assigned to the MD+S group and 101 to the surgery alone group. According to the actual clinical conditions and excluding those with torsion time longer than 24 hours and torsion angle greater than 720 °, 28 of the patients underwent ultrasound-guided MD+S (with 1 case of testis resection, 3.6%), and 68 received surgery alone (with 7 cases of testis resection, 10.3%). The rate of testis resection was higher in the surgery alone than that in the MD+S group, but with no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05), which was considered to be related to the small sample size in this study.
CONCLUSION
The popularization of testicular torsion knowledge can shorten the onset-to-visit time, and reasonable manual detorsion before emergency surgery can reduce the rate of testis resection.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of laparoscopic-assisted anorectoplasty in the treatment of children′s congenital anal atresia. Methods:In this study , 49 children undergoing laparoscopic-assisted anorectoplasty between Mar 2009 and Mar 2015 were compared in terms of outcomes with 42 children under going posterior sagittal anorectoplasty during this period. The post-operative complications, bowel functions and courses were evaluated. Results:The ratio of primary healing in laparoscopic-assisted anorectoplasty was higher than posterior sagittal anorectoplasty(22 % vs. 10%, χ 2=4.306, P=0.038), the age of sequential operation in the former was lower than control group [(9.9±6.5) d vs. (13.4±5.1) d, t=2.823, P=0.003]. The perioperative complications were lower than that in the control group(20% vs. 50%, χ 2=8.817, P=0.003), the bowel function was better than control group(χ 2=7.419, P=0.025). Conclusions:Perioperative complications in laparoscopic-assisted anorectoplasty is lower than posterior sagittal anorectoplasty, with better bowel function and higher primary healing rate.

OBJECTIVE:
To observe the effects of conventional drug therapy combined with acupuncture and conventional drug therapy on the morbidity of post-stroke depression and recovery of neurological function in patients with acute stroke, and provide new ideas for prevention and treatment of post-stroke depression.
METHODS:
Sixty patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 30 cases in each one.Conventional drug therapy was given in the control group;on the basis of conventional drug therapy, acupuncture was applied at Baihui (GV 20), Sishencong (EX-HN1), Neiguan (PC 6), Hegu (LI 4), Taixi (KI 3), etc. The treatment was given once every day, 6 times a week for 4 weeks in the two groups. The 24 Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD), modified Edinburgh-Scandinavian stroke scale (MESSS) scores were recored before treatment, after 1 week of treatment, and after 4 weeks of treatment in the two groups, and the morbidity of post-stroke depression was compared between the two groups.
RESULTS:
After 1 week of treatment, the HAMD scale scores of the two groups were higher than those before treatment (both <0.05), and the MESSS scores were lower than those before treatment in the two groups (both <0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment, the HAMD scale scores in the observation group were lower than that before treatment (<0.05), and significantly better than that in the control group (<0.01), but there was no significant difference in the control group before and after treatment (>0.05). The MESSS scores were lower than those after 1 week of treatment in the two groups (both <0.05), and the score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (<0.01). After 4 weeks of treatment, the morbidity of post-stroke depression in the observation group was 23.3% (7/30), which was lower than 66.7% (20/30) in the control group (<0.05).
CONCLUSION
Early acupuncture intervention on stroke patients can not only promote the recovery of neurological function, but also reduce the morbidity of post-stroke depression effectively.

Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(1):85-87
Acupuncture mechanics in acupuncture manipulation of traditional Chinese medicine is important information for elucidating the essence of acupuncture manipulation and clinically observed acupuncture effects and has some morphological, histochemical and biochemical effects on fibroblasts and cytoskeletons in the tissue. This article generalizes from the present newest research advances, which is of important significance for revealing the mechanism of the therapeutic effect of acupuncture.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2011;28(5):946-950
In this paper, a seriesly connected three phase bipolar symmetrical voltage multiplier (VM) is proposed, which is a novel VM for X-ray power supply. It consists of three single phase bipolar symmetrical VM, which are connected in series at their smoothing columns. The charging and discharging process occurs six times in a cycle and the frequency of the output voltage ripple is six times as large as the drive signal frequency. The proposed VM has three times larger output voltage and three times smaller ripple factor as compared to single phase bipolar symmetrical VM, and smaller voltage drop and faster dynamic response than those of the series connected three phase symmetrical VM. The simulation is provided to show the feasibility of proposed VM.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2011;36(11):1534-1538
Through textual research of herbalism about Chinese Goldthread Rhizome in different periods of ancients and some modern study, and analysis on correlativity between its name and different germplasm, it showed that the knowledge level of quality of the medicinal materials was gradually increased in its historical record of application by the society improvement and increasing of requirements and population from producing area, diversity of character to germplasm resources. The materials name of Chinese Goldthread Rhizome was from unitary to diversity and referred to the rhizomes of all plants of Coptis in China, while Deltaleaf Goldthread Rhizome took an important role in the evolution of Chinese Goldthread Rhizome. The aim of the work was to provide a reference for the correlative study of phylogeny, individual distribution, ecological environment and medical resources.
