1.Practical research for enhancing the teaching effectiveness of animal surgery courses through life education

Animal surgery courses are a critical component of medical training;however,teaching practices have demonstrated problems,such as the difficulty of interdisciplinary teaching,students' weak concepts of sterility,poor clinical thinking,insufficient teamwork,shallow emotional investment,and ineffective value guidance.By integrating the characteristics of student learning and utilizing virtual simulation experiments alongside peer role models,an emotional-guidance teaching model has been established to enhance the effectiveness of"life education",through strengthened emotional identification and improved value guidance.The result indicate that this teaching model forms a closed-loop teaching process,aligns with students' cognitive patterns and cultivates their comprehensive abilities,and enhances teaching effectiveness.

Diabetes mellitus(DM)is an endocrine metabolic disease mainly characterized by chronic hyperglycemia,which seriously threatens the health and quality of life of human beings,and with the improvement of living standard and unhealthy lifestyle in China,the incidence of DM continues to rise and tends to be younger,so it is urgent to carry out in-depth research on hypoglycemic treatment.DM is pathologically based on absolute or relative insulin deficiency,and there is no radical cure for it,and Western medicine mostly adopts insulin injection or oral hypoglycemic drugs for symptomatic treatment,which is effective but prone to toxic side effects in long-term use.Chinese medicine has the advantages of multi-path and multi-target in treating DM,and plays a role in lowering blood sugar by promoting insulin secretion,improving insulin resistance,regulating glucolipid metabolism and anti-oxidative stress,etc.Its efficacy is remarkable and the rate of toxic side effects is low.In recent years,there have been more studies on the mechanism of action of traditional Chinese medicine and compound prescriptions on animal models of DM.By reviewing the relevant literature in recent years,the author has systematically sorted out the mechanism of hypoglycemic action of single Chinese medicine,traditional Chinese medicine compound prescriptions,effective components of traditional Chinese medicine and their related experimental designs,from promoting insulin secretion,inhibiting gluconeogenesis,promoting glycogen synthesis,improving insulin resistance,inhibiting glycosidase activity,alleviating oxidative stress damage,inhibiting inflammatory response and regulating intestinal stress.The study and experimental design of the hypoglycemic mechanism of Chinese medicine were summarized in terms of promoting insulin secretion,inhibiting gluconeogenesis,promoting glycogen synthesis,improving insulin resistance,inhibiting glucosidase activity,alleviating oxidative stress damage,inhibiting inflammatory response and regulating intestinal flora,etc.,with a view to providing reference for the wider clinical application of Chinese medicine in hypoglycemia and its in-depth pharmacodynamic study.
4.Modeling Method and Evaluation of Animal models of Hypertensive

Hypertension is one of the main factors leading to cardiovascular death.The number of cardiovascular patients were about 330 million in China,and 245 million among them were suffering from hypertensive in 2021.The rates of treatment and control of hypertension were less than 45.8%from 1991 to 2018.Therefore,it is of great clinical significance and social value to carry out hypertension related research.Animal models of hypertension are important tools to explore the pathogenesis of hypertension and evaluate the development of antihypertensive agents.At present,there are many ways to establish animal models of hypertension,by consulting and sorting out the relevant papers of animal models of hypertension at home and abroad,the author summarized and discussed the replication methods,principles,features and applications of commonly used animal models from four aspects,such as genetics,surgical induction,environmental induction and pharmaceuticals induction,in order to provide a reference for the selection and establishment of more scientific animal models of hypertension and lay the foundation for the combined treatment of hypertension with Chinese and Western medicine.

【Objective】 To understand the current situation of blood components distribution in domestic prefecture-level blood stations through analyzing the components distribution data of 24 prefecture-level blood stations in China. 【Methods】 The data of components distribution of 24 blood stations from 2017 to 2020 as well as the data of blood deployment of 24 blood stations from 2019 to 2020 were collected and analyzed. 【Results】 From 2017 to 2020, positive annual growth in red blood cells, plasma and cryoprecipitate was observed in 22, 19 and 15 out of the 24 blood stations, and the annual growth median rate of above three components was 5.24%, 3.80% and 3.25%, respectively. Among the 24 prefecture-level blood stations, 23 carried out the preparation of cryoprecipitate. 【Conclusion】 The distribution of red blood cells, cryoprecipitate and plasma in prefecture-level blood stations is increasing year by year. However, there is a overstock of plasma, and most blood stations need blood employment.
7.A real-time and modular approach for quick detection and mechanism exploration of DPIs with different carrier particle sizes.

Dry powder inhalers (DPIs) had been widely used in lung diseases on account of direct pulmonary delivery, good drug stability and satisfactory patient compliance. However, an indistinct understanding of pulmonary delivery processes (PDPs) hindered the development of DPIs. Most current evaluation methods explored the PDPs with over-simplified models, leading to uncompleted investigations of the whole or partial PDPs. In the present research, an innovative modular process analysis platform (MPAP) was applied to investigate the detailed mechanisms of each PDP of DPIs with different carrier particle sizes (CPS). The MPAP was composed of a laser particle size analyzer, an inhaler device, an artificial throat and a pre-separator, to investigate the fluidization and dispersion, transportation, detachment and deposition process of DPIs. The release profiles of drug, drug aggregation and carrier were monitored in real-time. The influence of CPS on PDPs and corresponding mechanisms were explored. The powder properties of the carriers were investigated by the optical profiler and Freeman Technology four powder rheometer. The next generation impactor was employed to explore the aerosolization performance of DPIs. The novel MPAP was successfully applied in exploring the comprehensive mechanism of PDPs, which had enormous potential to be used to investigate and develop DPIs.
8. Simultaneous determination of three chlorobenzene compounds in workplace air by portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

OBJECTIVE: To establish a method for simultaneous determination of chlorobenzene, p-dichlorobenzene and o-dichlorobenzene in workplace air by portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS). METHODS: The portable GC-MS heat tracing sampling probe was used for sampling. Samples were separated with LTM DB-5 MS rapid chromatographic column. The qualitative analysis was based on retention times and characteristic ions, and the quantification was based on standard curves. RESULTS: The linear correlation coefficient of this method was higher than 0.999 6. The minimum detectable concentrations were 0.03, 0.03 and 0.06 mg/m~3, and the minimum quantification concentrations were 0.10, 0.10 and 0.20 mg/m~3. The recovery rates were 84.68%-92.61%, 86.27%-93.92% and 82.31%-92.36% respectively for three chlorobenzenes compounds. The within-run relative standard deviations(RSD) were 8.51%-9.34%, 7.93%-9.19%, 5.47%-7.48% respectively for three chlorobenzenes compounds, the between-run RSD were 7.29%-9.73%, 8.08%-10.04% and 5.19%-5.98% respectively for three chlorobenzenes compounds. CONCLUSION: The portable GC-MS could be used for qualitative and quantitative detection of three chlorobenzenes compounds in workplace air.
9.Novel approach for real-time monitoring of carrier-based DPIs delivery process pulmonary route based on modular modified Sympatec HELOS.

An explicit illustration of pulmonary delivery processes (PDPs) was a prerequisite for the formulation design and optimization of carrier-based DPIs. However, the current evaluation approaches for DPIs could not provide precise investigation of each PDP separately, or the approaches merely used a simplified and idealized model. In the present study, a novel modular modified Sympatec HELOS (MMSH) was developed to fully investigate the mechanism of each PDP separately in real-time. An inhaler device, artificial throat and pre-separator were separately integrated with a Sympatec HELOS. The dispersion and fluidization, transportation, detachment and deposition processes of pulmonary delivery for model DPIs were explored under different flow rates. Moreover, time-sliced measurements were used to monitor the PDPs in real-time. The Next Generation Impactor (NGI) was applied to determine the aerosolization performance of the model DPIs. The release profiles of the drug particles, drug aggregations and carriers were obtained by MMSH in real-time. Each PDP of the DPIs was analyzed in detail. Moreover, a positive correlation was established between the total release amount of drug particles and the fine particle fraction (FPF) values ( = 0.9898). The innovative MMSH was successfully developed and was capable of illustrating the PDPs and the mechanism of carrier-based DPIs, providing a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of carrier-based DPIs.
10.Preliminary study on the pathway of scientific and technological achievements of clinical hospitals transferred by medical device enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta

Objective:To provide references for promoting clinical hospital technology transfer, through on-site investigations of medical device manufacturers and sorting out the situation of the participation of enterprises in technology transfer.Methods:Purposive sampling and questionnaire are used; the study analyzed the collected data by quantitative and qualitative research on the selected 5 enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta, and introduced the procedures of enterprises purchasing scientific payoffs.Results:It shows that the medical device enterprises have strong demand for the technology innovation, and the cooperation between enterprises and researchers at an earlier stage are conducive to technology transfer. At present, the overall technology readiness level for the hospitals is generally not high. The commercialization of scientific and research findings could achieve the win-win situation for both the hospitals and enterprises.Conclusions:To further promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in China, We should establish a more diversified achievement promotion platform to push forward the hospital-enterprise cooperation to improve the technology readiness level, and meanwhile, accelerate the application-oriented clinical scientific research.
