BackgroundPostpartum depression （PPD） is a prevalent postpartum complications that significantly compromises women's psychological and physical well-being. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation （rTMS）， a conventional neuromodulation technique， has been increasingly used in the treatment of PPD. However， high-quality evidence regarding its efficacy and safety remains limited. ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of rTMS in the treatment of PPD， thereby providing references for clinical treatment. MethodsDatabases including Cochrane Library， PubMed， Embase， CNKI， Wanfang， VIP and China Biology Medicine disc （CBM） were electronically searched for randomized controlled trials （RCTs） on rTMS for PPD， with the search spanning from database inception to February 8， 2025. Study quality was assessed using the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions 5.0.1， and the certainty of evidence was graded according to the Grading of Recommendations Assessment， Development and Evaluation （GRADE） approach. Meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.3 and Stata 12.0. The outcomes of the Meta-analysis included the total effective rate， Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale （EPDS） score， Hamilton Depression Rating Scale （HAMD） score， and adverse reactions （dizziness， headache， nausea， diarrhea， and the overall incidence of adverse reactions）. ResultsA total of 11 studies involving 729 patients with PPD were included. Meta-analysis results showed that the total effective rate in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group （OR=5.54， 95% CI： 3.07–10.01， P<0.01）. Both EPDS score （SMD=-2.38， 95% CI： -3.39–-1.37， P<0.01） and HAMD score （SMD=2.53， 95% CI： 1.21–3.85， P<0.01） in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group， with statistically significant differences. Comparisons between the study group and control group reveal no significant differences in the incidence of dizziness and headache （RR=1.47， 95% CI： 0.63–3.43， P>0.05）， nausea （RR=1.46， 95% CI： 0.55–3.86， P>0.05）， diarrhea （RR=0.71， 95% CI： 0.23–2.20， P>0.05）， and overall adverse reactions （RR=1.30， 95% CI： 0.79–2.15， P>0.05）. GRADE assessment rated the four indicators of dizziness and headache， diarrhea， overall incidence of adverse reactions， and EPDS score as "moderate-certainty evidence"， and rated the total effective rate， nausea， and the HAMD score as "low-certainty evidence". BACKGROUND: There are few multi-city studies on the association between temperature and mortality in basin climates. This study was based on the Sichuan Basin in southwest China to assess the association of basin temperature with non-accidental mortality in the population and with the temperature-related mortality burden. METHODS: Daily mortality data, meteorological and air pollution data were collected for four cities in the Sichuan Basin of southwest China. We used a two-stage time-series analysis to quantify the association between temperature and non-accidental mortality in each city, and a multivariate meta-analysis was performed to obtain the overall cumulative risk. The attributable fractions (AFs) were calculated to access the mortality burden attributable to non-optimal temperature. Additionally, we performed a stratified analyses by gender, age group, education level, and marital status. RESULTS: A total of 751,930 non-accidental deaths were collected in our study. Overall, 10.16% of non-accidental deaths could be attributed to non-optimal temperatures. A majority of temperature-related non-accidental deaths were caused by low temperature, accounting for 9.10% (95% eCI: 5.50%, 12.19%), and heat effects accounted for only 1.06% (95% eCI: 0.76%, 1.33%). The mortality burden attributable to non-optimal temperatures was higher among those under 65 years old, females, those with a low education level, and those with an alternative marriage status. CONCLUSIONS Our study suggested that a significant association between non-optimal temperature and non-accidental mortality. Those under 65 years old, females, and those with a low educational level or alternative marriage status had the highest attributable burden.

BACKGROUND:Ischemic stroke is a serious threat to human health.After ischemia and hypoxia,astrocyte expresses lipocalin-2 in large amounts to aggravate brain injury,but the specific mechanism is not clear.Hydroxysafflor yellow A has anti-ischemia,anti-oxidation,anti-thrombosis and anti-inflammatory effects.However,whether hydroxysafflor yellow A affects the expression of lipocalin-2 in astrocytes after cerebral ischemia and hypoxia and its mechanism are not clear. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect and mechanism of hydroxysafflor yellow A on the expression of lipocalin-2 in astrocytes after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion. METHODS:(1)Thirty adult SD rats were randomly divided into three groups:sham operation group,middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion group,and hydroxysafflor yellow A group.The middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion model was established in the latter two groups,and hydroxysafflor yellow A group was intraperitoneally injected with 12 mg/kg hydroxysafflor yellow A after reperfusion.Longa score was used to evaluate the degree of neurological impairment.Infarct volume was determined by TTC staining.JAK2/STAT3 pathway and lipocalin-2 expression were detected by western blot assay and immunofluorescence.Levels of interleukin 1β,interleukin 6 and tumor necrosis factor α were detected by ELISA.(2)Astrocytes were divided into four groups:Normal group,glucose-oxygen deprivation group,hydroxysafflor yellow A group and AG490 group.In the latter three groups,glucose-oxygen deprivation and glucose-oxygen recovery models were established.Astrocytes were treated with 75 μmol/L hydroxysafflor yellow A and 10 μmol/L tyrosine phosphorylation inhibitor AG490 for 8 hours during glucose-oxygen deprivation,respectively.The mechanism of hydroxysafflor yellow A on lipocalin-2 was further verified. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Compared with the sham operation group,cerebral infarction was significantly increased in the middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion group,accompanied by aggravated neurological impairment(P<0.01).Hydroxysafflor yellow A treatment could reduce cerebral infarction volume and improve neurological function(P<0.01).(2)The expressions of p-JAK2,p-STAT3 and lipocalin-2 in the middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion group were higher than those in the sham operation group(P<0.01).Hydroxysafflor yellow A treatment reduced the expressions of JAK2,STAT3 and lipocalin-2(P<0.01).(3)The expression levels of interleukin 1β,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor α in the middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion group were higher than those in the sham operation group(P<0.01).Hydroxysafflor yellow A inhibited the expressions of interleukin 1β,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor α(P<0.01).(4)In vitro,the expressions of p-JAK2,p-STAT3 and lipocalin-2 in the glucose-oxygen deprivation group were significantly higher than those in the normal group(P<0.01).After adding AG490,the phosphorylation of JAK2 and STAT3 decreased,and the expression of lipocalin-2 was inhibited(P<0.01).The results suggest that hydroxysafflor yellow A may inhibit the expression of lipocalin-2 in astrocytes after ischemia and hypoxia by regulating the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway,thereby reducing brain injury.

Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive nursing measures on preventing venous thromboembolism(VTE)in elderly patients.Methods A total of 182 inpatients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected and divided into observation group(92 cases)and control group(90 cases)according to random number table method.Patients in control group were given VTE prevention by conventional methods,and patients in observation group were given VTE comprehensive preventive measures.After the implementation of preventive measures,VTE prevention compliance and health self-management"knowledge-attitude-practice"were compared between two groups.Results There was no significant difference in the assessment of VTE risk level between two groups(P>0.05).The compliance of observation group was significantly better than that of control group(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences between two groups in understanding and mastering VTE prevention knowledge,believing that VTE prevention measures were difficult to adhere to,and implementing VTE prevention according to medical advice(P<0.05).Patients in observation group had better health self-management.Conclusion The comprehensive nursing intervention of patients participating in VTE risk assessment and jointly implementing thrombosis prevention measures between nurses and patients can improve the compliance of VTE prevention and health self-management ability of elderly patients,which is of great significance for reducing the occurrence of VTE.

Objective To investigate the microbiome composition of deep invasive endometriosis lesions,offering novel insights into its pathogenesis,diagnosis,and treatment strategies.Methods From May 2021 to May 2022,we collected samples of normal endometrium(normal group,n=10),endometrium from patients with deep infiltrating endometriosis(DIE endometrium group,n=14),and lesions from these patients(DIE lesion group,n=10)for 16s rRNA sequencing analysis.We employed the bacterial community diversity algorithm(alpha diversity and beta diversity),principal coordinate analysis(PCoA)distance matrix algorithms(Bray-Curtis and Unifrac matrices),as well as the biological identification algorithm(LeFSe)to investigate microbiome differences between groups and identify differentially abundant bacteria and enriched KEGG functions.Results The diversity of the three groups did not show any significant difference,while the β diversity exhibited a statistically significant distinc-tion(P=0.005 5).The focus group had a relatively low abundance of Firmicutes at the phylum level and a relatively increased abundance of Fusobacteria.At the genus level,there was an increased relative abundance of Enterococcus and Prevotella.LEFse analysis suggested that Proteobacteria and Gammaproteobacteria were the main dominant in the lesion group.Notably,Gamma proteobacteria emerged as a key differential species among the three groups'microbial flora with statistical significance(P=0.021 2).Conclusion Compared to the normal group and DIE group,there was a significant increase in the abundance of Fusobacteria,Proteobacteria,Gammaproteobacteria,Enterococcus,and Prevotella.These findings offer novel therapeutic targets for the prevention and intervention of deep infiltrating endometriosis.

【Objective】 To analyze the characteristics and mobility of the overlapping population of voluntary blood donation and plasmapheresis donation, so as to provide a scientific basis for the formulation of recruitment and retention strategies for blood donation and plasmapheresis donation, and to further propose a scientific reference for the decision-making of blood banks and plasmapheresis station management in China. 【Methods】 The basic information of blood donors and plasmapheresis donors in two counties in Guangyuan, Sichuan Province, which carried out whole blood collection and plasmapheresis collection from the establishment of the station to July 31, 2021 was statistically compared and analzed using the chi-square test and Post hoc testing test. 【Results】 As of July 31, 2021, a total of 50 658 people participated in blood donation and 63 375 people participated in plasmapheresis donation in Jiange County and Cangxi County, with a total overlap of 6 189 people. In the two regions, 16 458 (35.2%) people aged 40 to 50, and 35 558 people (56.1%) were over 50 years old. Among the overlapping population, 2 496 (40.3%) were 40 to 50 years old, accounted for the largest proportion, and 3 146 (50.8%) were males. Significant differences were noticed in age (P<0.001) and gender (P<0.001). There was a shift in dontion in 5 183, including 2 072 people from plasma to blood and 3 111 people from blood to plasma, among which 2 671 (51.5%) were men and 3 632 (70.1%) were over 50 years old, with significant differences in gender (P<0.05) and age (P<0.001). 【Conclusion】 There were a small number of donors donating both blood and plasma in Jiange and Cangxi, and men aged 40 to 50 were the majority, and people over 50 years old were more likely to shift the donation goals. The vast majority of donors have a single and fixed donation goal (blood or plasma), and are not easy to change.

【Objective】 To analyze the dynamic relationship between the setting up of plasmapheresis station and the volume of voluntary blood donation collected using panel vector autoregressive model, so as to provide scientific reference for the management policies of blood stations and plasmapheresis stations in China. 【Methods】 The data collected from blood stations in seven administrative regions of Guangyuan, Sichuan Province from 2011 to 2021, as well as plasma collection data from two plasmapheresis stations in the region within two years since their operation, were collected. A panel vector autoregressive model was constructed. Impulse response analysis and variance decomposition analysis were used to analyze the impact and time lag effects of simulated plasmapheresis station settings on the collection volume of voluntary blood donation. Covariance analysis was used to explore whether the establishment of plasmapheresis station had an impact on the volume of voluntary blood donation collected after excluding the impact of initial value differences. 【Results】 The pulse response results showed that after the plasmapheresis station was set up, there was a negative impact effect on the voluntary blood donation collection volume at the first stage, and its impact began to rise after the second stage, reached the highest value in the third stage, and then began to decline. After the seventh stage, it tended to be stable. However, within the 10 stage range, the confidence interval for the response strength of voluntary blood donation collection volume always included 0, indicating that the response of blood collection volume to the plasmapheresis station setting in the region was not statistically significant. The results of variance decomposition showed that the contribution of collection volume of voluntary blood donation to their own impact reached 94.3%. In terms of the contribution of plasmapheresis station factors, the number of plasma donors has a relatively greater impact on the volume of voluntary blood donation collected(2.2%). Covariance analysis showed that after removing the initial confounding factors, whether to establish a plasmapheresis station had no significant impact on blood donation volume in the two groups of regions (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】 The establishment of a new plasmapheresis station will have a certain impact on blood collection volume of blood stations in the region in a short term, but in the long term, it may not directly affect the voluntary blood donation collection in the region.

【Objective】 To explore the difference of demographics and influencing factors of motivations between whole blood donors and plasmapheresis donors, so as to provide scientific reference for effective recruitment strategy. 【Methods】 A total of 200 whole blood donors from Guangyuan Blood Center and 200 plasmapheresis donors from Jiange Plasmapheresis Station were selected in August 2021 for on-site questionnaire survey using the method of cross-sectional survey. Statistical analysis was performed by chi-square test, univariate and multivariate logistic regression. 【Results】 There were significant differences in gender, age, occupation, education level and annual family income between whole blood donors and plasmapheresis donors (P<0.05). Males accounted for a large proportion of whole blood donors(124/196, 63.3%), whereas females accounted for a large proportion of plasmapheresis donors(117/198, 59.1%). There was little difference in the number of whole blood donors in different age groups, while the age of plasmapheresis donors was concentrated in 40~59 years old (167/198, 84.3%). In terms of occupation, civil servants (including public institutions) accounted the highest proportion in whole blood donors (41/196, 20.9%), and farmers accounted the highest proportion (152/198, 76.8%) in plasmapheresis donors. The number of whole blood donors increased with the education level, and donors with college/university and above degree accounted the largest proportion (80/196, 40.8%). Plasmapheresis donors with junior middle school education and college/university and above accounted the largest and smallest proportion (49.5% vs 4.5%). The annual family income of whole blood donors ranged from 30 000 to 80 000 yuan accounted the largest proportion (109/196, 55.6%), and the annual family income of plasmapheresis donors less than 30 000 yuan accounted the largest proportion (132/198, 66.7%). 【Conclusion】 There were significant statistical differences in gender, age, education level, occupation and annual family income between whole blood and plasmapheresis donors. Therefore, targeted recruitment strategies should be formulated.

Objective To analyze the clinicopathological features and prognostic factors of patients with breast invasive ductal carcinoma with extensive intraductal components (EIC).Methods The clinical data of 182 patients of early breast invasive ductal carcinoma undergoing breast-conserving surgery were analyzed retrospectively in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University,and the clinicopathological features and prognosis of two groups of breast cancer patients with EIC positive (n =23) and EIC negative (n =159) were compared.Results In the EIC positive group,ipsilateral breast tumor recurrence (IBTR) was 21.7％ (5/23) and the distant metastasis rate was 4.3％ (1/23);in the EIC negative group,ipsilateral breast tumor recurrence (IBTR) was 1.9％ (3/159) and the distant metastasis rate was 3.8％ (6/159).The Kaplan-Meier curve showed that the 5-year local recurrence-free survival rates in the EIC positive group was lower than that of the EIC negative group (78％ vs.97.7％) (P ＜ 0.001),and the difference was statistically significant,but the 5-year distant metastasis-free survival rates in the two groups was similar (95.7％ vs.96.2％) (P =0.892).COX multivariate analysis showed that EIC was an independent risk factor for local recurrence after breast-conserving surgery in breast invasive ductal carcinoma patients.Conclusions EIC increases the local recurrence rate in patients with breast invasive ductal carcinoma undergoing breast-conserving surgery.

Objective: To retrospectively analyze the distribution of non-fermentative bacteria causing bloodstream infection in hospitalized patients in Sichuan Province and their drug susceptibility to common antibiotics for better understanding their epidemiological characteristics. Methods: From January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2017, all of the non-fermentative bacteria isolated from patients with bloodstream infection in nine hospitals in Sichuan Province were collected. Species distribution and drug resistance test results were retrospectively analyzed. Results: A total of 6 291 strains of pathogenic bacteria were isolated, including 3 674 strains of gram-negative bacteria (58.4%) and 2 617 strains of gram-positive bacteria (41.6%). The gram-positive bacteria were 1 895 strains of Staphylococcus (30.1%), 372 strains of Streptococcus (5.9%), 317 strains of Enterococcus (5.1%) and 33 strains of other gram-positive bacteria (0.5%). The gram-negative bacteria were 3 191 Enterobacteriaceae strains (50.7%), 389 non-fermentative strains (6.2%) and 94 other gram-negative strains (1.5%). The isolated non-fermentative bacteria were mainly Pseudomonas aeruginosa (136 strains, 35.0%), Acinetobacter baumannii (126 strains, 32.0%) and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (33 strains, 8.5%). There were 167 (42.9%), 112 (28.8%) and 82 (21.1%) non-fermentative bacteria isolated in internal medicine departments, ICUs and surgery departments, respectively. The drug resistance rates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to cefepime, ciprofloxacin and gentamicin were 16.5%, 10.7% and 9.9%, respectively. Carbapenems-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa (CR-PA) accounted for 13.6%. No polymyxin-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa was found. The resistance rates of Acinetobacter baumannii to all antibiotics were over 30% except for minocycline and polymyxin and 75.7% of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CR-AB) were isolated. The drug resistance rates to levofloxacin, trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole and ceftazidime were 0%, 0% and 37.0% in Stenotrophomonas maltophilia isolates and 10.5%, 4.2% and 19% in Burkholderia cepacia isolates, respectively. Conclusions Non-fermentative bacteria causing 6.2% of bloodstream infection in Sichuan, mainly by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii. There were significant differences in the isolation rate of non-fermentative bacteria in different departments and most of the strains were isolated in internal medicine departments. The detection rate of Acinetobacter baumannii with multiple drug resistance was high, while other non-fermentative bacteria had good sensitivity to antibiotics.
