Objective To investigate whether the dosimetric effects of stereotactic body radiotherapy(SBRT)in hepatic carcinoma conform to the linear-quadratic(LQ)model.Methods Human hepatic carcinoma cell lines HepG2 and Hep3B cultured in vitro were selected and subjected to biological equivalent dose(BED)irradiation(6,8,10,12,14 Gy).The fractionation regimens included single-fraction irradiation(simulated SBRT)and 3-or 5-fraction irradiation(simulated IMRT).The surviving fraction after irradiation reflected the damage effects of different fractionation regimens;the effects of different fractionation regimens on cell proliferation were analyzed through survival curves;and cell scratch experiment after irradiation was used to observe the cell invasive and migration abilities after exposure to different fractionation regimens.Results Significant separation effect was observed in the in vitro validation of the LQ model in SBRT for hepatic carcinoma.For HepG2 cells and Hep3B cells,when BED<12 Gy(α/β=10 Gy),fractionation regimens did not show significant differences in terms of damage effects,proliferative ability,and invasive ability,indicating SBRT conformed to the LQ model;when BED≥12 Gy,single-fraction had more obvious damage effects as compared with multiple-fraction,indicating that the damage effect in SBRT was more significant than that in IMRT.Conclusion The LQ model applies to SBRT for hepatic carcinoma in a certain dose range,beyond which the damage effect is higher than the predicted results of the LQ model.

Objective::To assess the role of a nurse-assisted early warning intervention in improving prophylaxis against obstetric venous thromboembolism (VTE) and preventing VTE following cesarean delivery (CD).Methods::A prospective cohort study conducted between January 1, 2020, and December 30, 2022, enrolled pregnant women who underwent CD in the obstetric unit of Women’s Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital. The patients were assigned to a control group (routine nursing care) or the intervention group (nurse-assisted early warning intervention) depending on whether or not the nurse-assisted early warning intervention had been implemented. The χ2 test and Student’s t-test were used for statistical analysis. The primary outcome was the incidence of systemic VTE following CD, and secondary outcomes were the rates of mechanical or pharmacologic prophylaxis receipts for VTE and the frequency and severity of adverse events related to pharmacologic prophylaxis. Results::A total of 27,074 cases were enrolled. The incidence of symptomatic VTE following CD was significantly lower in the intervention group (0.29 per 1000 deliveries) than in the control group (2.4 per 1000 deliveries) ( P < 0.001). Significantly more cases received mechanical and pharmacological VTE prophylaxis in the intervention group than in the control group (respectively, 19.8% vs. 12.6% receiving mechanical prophylaxis and 0.9% vs. 0.2% receiving pharmacological prophylaxis). No cases of life-threatening bleeding occurred in either group. Conclusion::The application of nurse-assisted early warning intervention may be an effective method for preventing VTE following CD.

Objective:A new algorithm based on Hough transform (HT) was proposed to improve the accuracy and stability of the film image analysis of Automatic Quality Assurance (AQA) test, and to explore the influence of the resolution of film image on the test results.Methods:Nine pairs of films were obtained for AQA modules in this study. Firstly, the median filter was used to preprocess the grayed-out film image to remove noise interference. Then, a global threshold was utilized to binarize the image. The images were edge-detected and the film edge line was extracted by Hough transform. The film image was transformed to the correct position. Finally, the edge of the field shadow circle and the shadow circle of the tungsten ball were extracted by the edge detection method and Hough transform. The radial error was finally obtained by analyzing the concentricity.Results:There was no significant difference in the accuracy between the test results yielded by the HT method and the AQA software ( P>0.05). The difference in the standard deviation of the test results was statistically significant ( P=0.027), indicating that the algorithm increased the stability while ensuring the accuracy of film analysis. Increasing the resolution of film scanning failed to significantly improve the accuracy and stability of film analysis in both two methods. Conclusions:The algorithm used in this study can eliminate the human error caused by film scanning placement while ensuring the accuracy of film analysis, providing a more stable way for the AQA test of the CyberKnife system.

Objective To study the efficacy of voice therapy combined with Jinsangsanjie pill in patients with vocal nodule .Methods A total of 146 patients with vocal nodes were randomly divided into three groups :45 cases in group A(single Jinsangsanjie pill therapy) ,47 cases in group B(single voice therapy) and 54 cases in group C(voice therapy combined with Jinsangsanjie pill therapy) ,30 healthy adults were as a normal control group .The treatment lasted 1 month .The results were evaluated by voice handicap index ,voice acoustic analysis and electronic laryngo‐scope which were collected before and after 1 month treatments .Results The VHI ,jitter ,shimmer and NNE of all patients were reduced while the MPT was increased after the treatment .The differences were significant (P<0 .05) .VHI 3 .64 ± 2 .12 ,jitter 0 .30% ± 0 .08% ,shimmer 1 .41% ± 0 .31% ,NNE -16 .83 ± 5 .84 dB of group C were significantly lower while MPT 18 .87 ± 3 .38 s and cure rate(93 .5% ) were significantly higher than those of in groupA(7.39±2.56,0.38% ±0.12% ,1.78% ±0.41% ,-13.38±4.42dB,16.38±3.11s,80.5% )andgroupB (23.6±12.5,0.48% ±0.18% ,1.98% ±0.42% ,-9.42±3.82dB,14.98±3.28s,52.4% )(P< 0.05).The VHI ,,jitter shimmer ,NNE of group A were significantly lower .MPT and cure rate were significantly higher than those of in group B .There were no statistical differences in each vocal indicators between group C and the normal control group (P>0 .05) .Conclusion The voice therapy combined with Jinsangsanjie pill in the treatment of vocal nodules is more efficiently ,and can improve patient’s pronunciation features .
