ObjectiveThis study aims to improve the management efficiency of zebrafish strains and zebrafish facilities and to transform the traditional management model that relies on manual labor. The goal is to promote a comprehensive transition from traditional manual operation to standardized, digitalized, automated, and refined management, thereby significantly improving management quality and work efficiency. MethodsThe research group independently developed the "Zebrafish Facility and Zebrafish Strain Automation Management System V1.0" (Software Copyright Registration No. 2021SR0236837), which comprehensively recorded all operational data of the zebrafish facilities and completed data on zebrafish strains. By combining in-depth mining of these data with management experience, management regulations were transformed into executable system instruction sets, and a full-process automated closed-loop management framework of "Monitoring–Analysis–Early Warning–Task Assignment–Execution–Recording" was established. ResultsThis management system has been operating stably for 5 years and has been successfully applied in 3 zebrafish facilities, cumulatively supporting 78 researchers and efficiently managing 1 108 plasmids and 1 123 zebrafish strains, among which 291 strains has been incorporated into zebrafish sperm bank management. A Likert scale survey of 28 core users covering 14 evaluation dimensions across 4 major categories showed average scores of 4.46–4.89, all far above the midpoint (3 points) of the scale, indicating that users gave high evaluations to all dimensions of the system. Meanwhile, the standard deviations of most dimensions were low (s ≤ 0.44), reflecting good consistency in user evaluations. ConclusionThis study integrates information technology, big data analysis, and modern management concepts to achieve a virtuous cycle of "data collection–analysis and execution–system optimization" in zebrafish facility management. It significantly improves management efficiency and refinement and promotes the development of management models toward automation.

OBJECTIVETo understand the distributions of DNA and neutralizing antibodies of human papillomavirus (HPV)16, 18 in 18-45 year-old women.
METHODSTotally, 1494 women were enrolled through multistage random sampling in Funing, Jiangsu province. Cervical exfoliated cells were collected from them for HPV DNA testing, and serum samples were taken from them for the detection of HPV16, 18 neutralizing antibodies by using pseudovirion-based neutralization assay(PBNA).
RESULTSAmong the 1494 women, 28(1.9%) and 188(12.6%) were positive for DNA and neutralizing antibody of HPV16 respectively, and 15(1.0%) and 60(4.0%) were positive for DNA and neutralizing antibody of HPV18, respectively. There were no significant differences in the detection rates of DNA and neutralizing antibody of HPV16, 18 among different age groups. About 16.7% of the women were infected with HPV16, 18, or both.
CONCLUSIONIn Funing county of Jiangsu province, most women aged 18-45 years has no immunity to HPV16 and 18, indicating that they are appropriate targets for HPV 16/18 vaccination.

Objective To determine the in vitro production of virulence factors for Candida (C.) tropicalis, including aspartyl proteinases, phospholipases and hemolytic activities, describe the regulation of virulence factors varying with time in C.tropicalis, and analyze the differences in aspartyl proteinases and hemolytic activities of C.tropicalis isolated from anatomically distinct sites. Methods A total of 64 C.tropicalis strains were spot-inoculated onto bovine albumin agar, egg yolk agar and sheep blood agar plates, respectively. Then the plates were incubated for 24,48 and 72 hour at 37 ℃,respectively. The aspartyl proteinases, phospholipase and hemolytic activities were determined at each time point, respectively. Results All the C.tropiclais isolates showed positive aspartyl proteinases and hemolytic activities at each time point, but no phospholipases activity was detected in C.tropicalis.On comparison of aspartyl proteinases and hemolytic activities at different time points, aspartyl proteinases activity at 48 and 72 hour was higher than that at 24 hour.During 72 hour, hemolytic activity of C.tropicalis increased. No statistical significant differences in aspartyl proteinases and hemolytic activities of C.tropicalis were observed among different infection sites (P=0.368 and 0.985).Conclusion The C.tropicalis clinical isolates in China have aspartyl proteinases activity, hemolytic activity, but have no phospholipase activity.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of simultaneous endoscopic bilateral placement of self-expandable metal biliary stents. Methods A total of 9 patients with hilar malignancy of Bismuth type Ⅱ to Ⅳ were enrolled in the current study, with a mean serum bilirubin at 162. 8 ± 193. 8 μmol/L before the procedure. Two guide wires were selectively inserted into the left and right intrahepatic ducts and kept in site. After aggressive dilatation for beth sides, the metal stents were deployed one by one bilaterally. Success rate of the procedure, remission of jaundice, early complications, and short-term clinical outcome were ob-served. Results The procedure was succeeded in all patients with Y type stent in 2, plastic stent transition in 1 and parallel stenting in 6, which took an average time of 38. 1 min. The most convenient way was the parallel method with both distal ends of the stents remaining at outside of papilla. The serum bilirubin re-turned to normal level within 3 weeks in all patients except 1, and no major complications were observed. Conclusion Simultaneous endoscopic bilateral metal stent placement is technically feasible and safe, with the benefit of prompt and effective control of jaundice and infection, caused by hilar tumors. A better method is to place specially designed endoprotheses in parallel and leave the distal ends outside papilla.
