ObjectiveTo identify the pathogen species responsible for the wilt disease of Tetradium ruticarpum in Chongqing, investigate there biological characteristics, and screen effective fungicides, so as to provide a theoretical basis for disease control in production. MethodsThe pathogen was isolated via the tissue culture method. Pathogenicity was verified according to Koch's postulates. The pathogen was identified based on morphological characteristics and multi-gene phylogenetic analysis. The mycelial growth rate method was used for biological characterization of the pathogen and fungicide screening. ResultsThe pathogen colonies were nearly circular with irregular edges, white, short, velvety aerial hyphae, and pale purple undersides. Macroconidia were colorless, sickle-shaped, with 3-5 septa, while microconidia were transparent, elliptical, aseptate or with 1-2 septa. Multi-gene phylogenetic analysis showed that the pathogen clustered in the same clade as Fusarium fujikuroi with 100% support, which, combined with morphological characteristics, identified the pathogen causing wilt of T. ruticarpum in Chongqing as F. fujikuroi. The optimal conditions for the mycelial growth of F. fujikuroi were mung bean agar (MBA) with glucose as the carbon source, beef extract and yeast powder as nitrogen sources, 28 ℃, pH 7.0, and alternating light/dark conditions. The optimal conditions for sporulation were potato dextrose agar (PDA) with glucose as the carbon source, beef extract as the nitrogen source, 28 ℃, pH 7.0, and complete darkness. Among chemical fungicides, phenazine-1-carboxylic acid exhibited the strongest inhibitory effect on F. fujikuroi. Shenqinmycin and tetramycin were the most effective bio-fungicides. ConclusionThis study is the first to report F. fujikuroi as the causal agent of wilt disease in T. rutaecarpa. The chemical fungicide phenazine-1-carboxylic acid and the bio-fungicides shenqinmycin and tetramycin showed strong inhibitory effects against F. fujikuroi.

Objective:
To explore the longitudinal relationship between bullying victimization and sleep quality among rural boarding junior high school students in Hebei Province, and to investigate the chain mediated role of loneliness and rumination, so as to provide evidence for promoting sleep health in the population.
Methods:
A baseline survey was conducted in May, 2023 (T1) by convenient sampling method, and two rounds of longitudinal surveys were conducted in November, 2023 (T2) and May, 2024 (T3) among students in two rural boarding junior high schools in Hebei Province, and a sample of 601 students who completed all the surveys was finally obtained. Students completed questionnaires, including the Delaware Bullying Victimization Scale Student (DBVS-S), the University of California at Los Angeles Loneliness Scale (UCLA), the Ruminative Responses Scale, and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Group differences were examined by using t-test or ANOVA, correlations between variables were analyzed by using Pearson correlation coefficients, and a serial mediation structural equation model was constructed, with mediation effects tested via the Bootstrap method.
Results:
Female students scored higher on sleep quality than male students (7.47±2.70, 6.47 ±2.46, t =4.74, P <0.01). Pearson correlation analysis indicated that bullying victimization was positively correlated with loneliness, rumination, and sleep quality; loneliness was positively correlated with rumination and sleep quality; and rumination was positively correlated with sleep quality ( r =0.26, 0.33, 0.23; 0.39, 0.38; 0.54, all P <0.01). Mediation analysis showed that T2 loneliness had an independent mediating effect of 0.70 (95% CI =0.36-1.35) between T1 bullying victimization and T3 sleep quality, T2 rumination had an independent mediating effect of 1.34 (95% CI =0.71-2.45), and the serial mediation effect of T2 loneliness and T2 rumination was 0.64 (95% CI =0.37-1.13), accounting for 22.11% of the total effect (all P <0.01).
Conclusions
Bullying victimization adversely affects sleep quality among rural boarding junior high school students through a longitudinal chain mediating pathway involving loneliness and rumination. Psychological interventions should be strengthened for students who experience bullying to alleviate their loneliness and reduce rumination, thereby improving sleep quality.

The dysregulation of cyclin-dependent kinase 12(CDK12),which may result from genomic alterations or modulation by upstream effectors,is implicated in cancer oncogenesis and progression.CDK12 over-expression or activation is sufficient to induce tumor initiation, recurrence, and therapeutic resistance.However,CDK12 may also exert tumor-suppressive functions in a context-dependent manner. Therefore, caution is warranted when targeting CDK12 in future clinical trials.A comprehensive elucidation of the dual roles and underlying mechanisms of CDK12 in carcinogenesis is urgently needed to advance pre-cision oncology. This review provides an overview of the current understanding of the dysregulation and biological roles of CDK12 in cancer.Subsequently,we systematically summarize the functions and mechanisms of the oncogenic and tumor-suppressive roles of CDK12 in different contexts. Finally,we discuss the potential of CDK12 as a novel therapeutic target and its implications in clinical oncology, offering insights into future directions for innovative cancer treatment strategies.

Microplastics and nanoplastics(MPs/NPs)are ubiquitous environmental pollutants that act as endocrine-disrupting chemicals(EDCs),raising significant concerns about their impact on human health,Research highlights the hazardous effects of MPs/NPs on both male and female reproductive systems, influencing germ cells, embryo development, and progeny.Additionally, studies show that MPs/NPs affect the gene expression of anabolic steroid hormones in vitro and in vivo, inducing reproductive toxicity through mechanisms such as oxidative stress and inflammation,Considering these adverse effects, identifying natural compounds that can mitigate the toxicity of MPs/NPs is increasingly important.Plants offer a wealth of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that can counteract these harmful effects.Among these, anthocyanins, natural colorants responsible for the vibrant hues of fruits and flowers, exhibit a wide range of biological activities, including antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and anti-neoplastic properties. Moreover, anthocyanins can modulate sex hormone levels and alleviate reproductive toxicity.Cyanidin-3-glucoside(C3G),one of the most extensively studied anthocyanins, shows promise in reducing reproductive toxicity, particularly in females, and in protecting male reproductive organs, including the testis and epididymis. This protective effect is believed to result from its interaction with steroid receptors, specifically the androgen and estrogen receptors(ERs).These findings highlight the need to explore the mechanisms by which anthocyanins mitigate the reproductive toxicity caused by MPs/NPs.This review provides novel insights into how natural compounds can be leveraged to lessen the impact of environmental contaminants on human health, especially concerning reproductive health.

Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of gastric-soleal turndown flap and knotless anchor bridging fixation via a modified incision in the treatment of chronic Achilles tendon rupture of Myerson type Ⅲ.Methods:A retrospective case series study was conducted to analyze the clinical data of the 18 patients who had been treated at Department of Minimally Invasive Orthopedics, Zhengzhou Orthopaedic Hospital from February 2020 to July 2023 for chronic Achilles tendon rupture of Myerson type Ⅲ by means of gastric-soleal turndown flap and knotless anchor bridging fixation via a modified incision. There were 15 males and 3 females, with an age of (37.2±6.8) years. All patients suffered from unilateral injury, involving 13 left sides and 5 right sides. Their body mass index was (22.6±2.5) kg/m 2. The operation time, blood loss, incision length, wound healing and complications were documented. The ankle dorsiflexion and plantar flexion at the last follow-up were compared between the affected side and the healthy side. The American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) ankle-hindfoot score and Achilles tendon total rupture score (ATRS) before operation were compared with those at the last follow-up. Results:All the 18 patients were followed up for (18.0±5.5) months. Their operation time was (69.1±5.2) minutes, blood loss (71.6±9.2) mL, incision at the broken end of the Achilles tendon (12.4±2.6) cm and incision at the proximal end (2.5±0.4) cm. At the last follow-up, the ankle dorsiflexion was 12.7°±1.9° and the ankle plantar flexion 35.2°±2.0° at the affected side, showing no significant difference from those at the healthy side (13.0°±2.1° and 34.7°±1.8°) ( P>0.05). The AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score was (89.4±3.4) points and the ATRS (85.3±3.2) points for the affected side at the last follow-up, showing significant improvements compared with the preoperative values [(54.2±4.2) points and (51.1±4.6) points] ( P<0.05). All the incisions healed at one stage after operation, with no such complications as incision infection or re-rupture of the Achilles tendon. One patient experienced mild pain at the anchor insertion site, but the pain disappeared 6 months after operation without any treatment. One patient had the symptoms of sural nerve injury which responded to 3 months of oral neurotrophic medication. Conclusion:In the treatment of chronic Achilles tendon rupture of Myerson type Ⅲ, gastric-soleal turndown flap and knotless anchor bridging fixation via a modified incision can result in limited invasion, a low incidence of complications, and definite effectiveness.
