OBJECTIVES: Urinary calculi are characterized by a high recurrence rate, and patients' adherence to self-management after discharge directly affects health outcomes. Traditional offline follow-up models often face problems such as poor compliance and uneven allocation of medical resources, making it difficult to meet individualized health management needs. Remote follow-up provides a novel solution to optimize long-term management, improve health literacy, and enhance clinical outcomes. This study aims to evaluate the effect of remote follow-up under an intelligent medical collaborative model on quality of life and health-promoting lifestyle in patients with urinary calculi, and to assess its short-term impact on clinical outcomes. METHODS: A total of 118 patients with urinary calculi admitted to a tertiary hospital in Hunan Province between August and November 2024 were recruited and randomly assigned to a control group (n=59) or an intervention group (n=59). The control group received routine departmental follow-up, while the intervention group underwent remote follow-up based on an intelligent medical collaborative model for one month. Assessments were conducted before discharge (T0), 15 days after discharge (T1), and one month after discharge (T2), using the Wisconsin Stone Quality of Life Questionnaire and the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile. At T2, the incidence of forgotten ureteral stents (FUS), ureteral stent-related complications, unplanned readmissions, and patient satisfaction were evaluated. RESULTS: No significant differences were observed between groups at T0 in baseline characteristics or outcome measures (all P>0.05). At T1 and T2, the intervention group had significantly higher health-related quality of life scores than the control group (P<0.05). Generalized estimating equation (GEE) analysis showed significant between-group effects (Wald's χ²=22.961, P<0.001), time effects (Wald's χ²=23.065, P<0.001), and interaction effects (Wald's χ²=6.930, P<0.05). Similarly, at T1 and T2, the intervention group scored significantly higher on health-promoting lifestyle than the control group (P<0.05), with significant between-group effects (Wald's χ²=22.936, P<0.001), time effects (Wald's χ²=10.694, P<0.001), and interaction effects (Wald's χ²=18.921, P<0.05). No significant differences were found between groups in the incidence of FUS, ureteral stent-related complications, or unplanned readmissions (all P>0.05). Patient satisfaction was significantly higher in the intervention group (t=4.089, P<0.001). CONCLUSIONS Remote follow-up under an intelligent medical collaborative model helps improve quality of life, promote health-oriented lifestyles, and enhance patient satisfaction among individuals with urinary calculi.

OBJECTIVE To observe the efficacy and safety of camrelizumab combined with pemetrexed and nedaplatin in the treatment of epidermal growth factor receptor （EGFR） and anaplastic lymphoma kinase （ALK） wild-type advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer （NSCLC）. METHODS The data of 92 patients with EGFR/ALK wild-type advanced non-squamous NSCLC patients who visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from August 2021 to May 2023 were collected and divided into nedaplatin group （46 cases） and carboplatin group （46 cases） based on different treatment regimens. Nedaplatin group was given camrelizumab for injection+nedaplatin for injection+pemetrexed disodium for injection； carboplatin group was given camrelizumab for injection+carboplatin injection+pemetrexed disodium for injection. Both groups received treatment with 21 days as one cycle， and all patients would be treated at least two cycles. The recent efficacy and the incidence of adverse drug reactions were observed in two groups， and the factors affecting progression-free survival （PFS） of patients were analyzed. RESULTS There was no statistically significant difference in the objective response rate， disease control rate， median PFS， and the incidence of grade 3-5 treatment-related adverse event （TRAE） between the two groups （P＞0.05）. While the incidence of grade 1-2 renal and urinary system TREA， palpitations and pericardial effusion in nedaplatin group were significantly lower than carboplatin group， the incidence of nausea， vomiting and decreased appetite were significantly higher than carboplatin group （P＜0.05）. The patient’s gender， age， smoking history， Eastern United States Cancer Collaboration score， and TNM staging were not significant factors affecting patient’s PFS （P＞0.05）. CONCLUSIONS Camrelizumab combined with pemetrexed and nedaplatin has significant efficacy in the treatment of EGFR/ALK wild-type advanced non-squamous NSCLC， with good safety.

Serum levels of CXC chemokine ligand 10 (CXCL10) and chemokine receptor 3 (CXCR3) were determined in 50 patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1 DM) and 30 normal control subjects by ELISA method.The results showed that serum levels of CXCL10 and CXCR3 in T1DM patients were significantly higher than those in normal subjects [(258.17 ± 39.12 vs 96.47 ± 26.91) ng/L,(851.87 ± 70.04 vs 441.82 ± 72.24) pg/ml,both P＜0.05].Serum level of CXCL10 in patients dropped sequentially with durations of diabetes ＜6 weeks,≥6 weeks or ＜3 years,and ≥ 3 years,being statistically significant between groups (P＜0.05).These results suggest that serum levels of CXC10 and CXCR3 may reflect the immune activity in T1DM.

Metastasis is a multistep process involving modification of morphology to suit migration, reduction of tumor cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix, increase of cell mobility, tumor cell resistance to anoikis, and other steps. MicroRNAs are well-suited to regulate tumor metastasis due to their capacity to repress numerous target genes in a coordinated manner, thereby enabling their intervention at multiple steps of the invasion-metastasis cascade. In this study, we identified a microRNA exemplifying these attributes, miR-124, whose expression was reduced in aggressive MDA-MB-231 and SK-3rd breast cancer cells. Down-regulation of miR-124 expression in highly aggressive breast cancer cells contributed in part to DNA hypermethylation around the promoters of the three genes encoding miR-124. Ectopic expression of miR-124 in MDA-MB-231 cells suppressed metastasis-related traits including formation of spindle-like morphology, migratory capacity, adhesion to fibronectin, and anoikis. These findings indicate that miR-124 suppresses multiple steps of metastasis by diverse mechanisms in breast cancer cells and suggest a potential application of miR-124 in breast cancer treatment.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the anti-earthquake military rescuers' psychosomatic health and social support, and observe the effect of intervention to the army men who suffered troubles.Methods By cluster random sampling, 152 military rescuers and 139 army men not taking part in the rescues were investigated by Facility Psychosomatic Health Scale and Social Support Rating Scale. Mental intervention or medication was performed to those produced psychosomatic health. Results The scores of somatic symptoms,mental status,psychosomatic health and social support of military rescuers and the control group were (4.09±4.70) ,(2.18 ±3.16) ,(6.27 ±7.08) ,(6.14 ±4.20) and (2.11 ±4.16) ,(1.37 ±3.09),(3.47 ±6.55),(4.57 ± 4.17 )respectively, the difference was significant(P＜0.05). The somatic symptoms had significantly positive correlation with mental status in military rescuers (r=0.17～0.52, P＜ 0.05 or 0.01 ). Failure of social support had positive correlation with mental disorders (r=0.18～0.40, P＜0.05 or 0.01). The degree of social support was the main factor which had affected on the psychosomatic health of military rescuers. The somatic symptoms of military rescuers were apparently higher than their mental symptoms. Mental and pharmaceutical intervention showed good effect on them. Conclusion There is an apparent effect for military rescuers injured seriously psychosomatic health through medication or mental intervention.

AIM: To detect the effect of conjunction matrigel with mammary fad pat(MFP)implantation on the tumorigenesis, proliferation, apoptosis and metastasis of Her2 positive and negative breast cancer model. METHODS: The Her2 positive BT 474 and Her2 negative MDA-MB 231 breast cancer cells were injected into MFP of nude mice with or without matrigel to establish breast cancer model. The tumor volume was measured every 3 d. Followed up for 30 d after implantation, the nude mice were killed and the tumors and associated organs were dissected for pathological sectioning and staining with hematoxylin and eosin. The time of tumor formation and the tumorigenesis were determined after implantation. The tumor volume and metastasis rate were calculated and compared with each other. The proliferation and apoptosis of Her2 positive and negative tumors were also determined. RESULTS: Matrigel and MFP implantation technology shortened the time of tumorigenesis significantly(P<0.01). The tumorigenesis rate of BT 474 and MDA-MB 231 breast cancer cells did not show any different(P>0.05). The metastasis rate of MDA-MB 231 breast cancer cells were improved from 25.0% to 37.5%(P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Matrigel and MFP implantation can be combined to shorten the time of tumor formation by two kinds of breast cancer cells, and improve the metastasis of Her2 negative MDA-MB 231 cells. Using matrigel does not show any effect of proliferation and apoptosis on Her2 positive and negative breast cancer cells.
