Objective:
To analyze the relationship of gross motor skills and perceptual motor abilities with physical activity levels in preschool children in a Beijing kindergarten, so as to provide a reference for promoting the development of motor competence.
Methods:
From September 2018 to March 2021, preschoolers aged 4-5 years were selected using convenience sampling method from an urban kindergarten in Beijing. The Test of Gross Motor Development-Third Version(TGMD-3) was used to assess basic preschoolers s gross motor skills ( n =152). The Pictorial Scale of Perceived Movement Skill Competence(PMSC) was used to evaluate perceptual motor skills ( n =151). Accelerometers (Actigraph GT3X) were used to record physical activity levels ( n =52). Data were analyzed using one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson correlation coefficients.
Results:
The mean scores for gross motor skills and perceptual motor abilities were (38.76±13.48) and (35.49±6.50), respectively. The moderate to vigorous physical activity(MVPA) level was(52.60±27.44) minutes per day. No statistically significant correlations were found between gross motor skills, perceptual motor abilities MVPA among boys, girls or the overall group ( r =-0.20 to 0.25, all P >0.05). However, Boys locomotor skills, overall children s locomotor skills, and boys gross motor skills were all positively correlated with MVPA( r =0.34-0.45, all P <0.05).
Conclusion
There is a correlation between locomotor skills and physical activity levels in 4 to 5-year-old children.

Objective:To develop and validate a diagnostic model for pancreatic benign and malignant tumors using radiomics technology. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 113 patients with pancreatic tumors who underwent surgical treatment at the Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Departments of the Second Hospital and the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2020 to December 2022. There were 59 male and 54 female patients, aged (55.3±16.8) years. Preoperative enhanced thin-slice computed tomography (CT) data and postoperative pathological diagnosis results were collected. Data from 74 patients at the Second Hospital were selected, and according to the random classification principle of 7∶3, the data of 52 patients were determined as the training set for model construction, while the remaining 22 patients' data served as the internal validation set. Data from 39 patients at the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University were used as the external validation set to assess the generali-zability of the established model. The region of interest in the lesions on CT images was analyzed using three-dimensional radiomics feature extraction, and the top 5 features were selected using feature selection methods. Radiomics models were established for the selected features using 17 classifiers. The performance of the models was evaluated using the area under curve (AUC) of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC).Results:Two hundred and fifty-five models were established with 15 feature selection methods and 17 classifiers. 7 models with the AUC greater than 0.7 were selected, among which the best one was LASSO-K neighbors classifier model, constructed using the LASSO feature selection method and the k-nearest neighbors algorithm, achieving AUC values of 0.933 (95% CI: 0.859-0.984) in the training set, 0.973 (95% CI: 0.896-1.000) in the validation set, and 0.774 (95% CI: 0.624-0.908) in the external validation set, with satisfactoryclassification and generalization ability. Conclusion:The radiomics-based diagnostic model for pancreatic benign and malignant tumors can effectively distinguish the benignancy and malignancy of tumors. The LASSO-K neighbors classifier model demonstrated high accuracy and reliability in this study.

Objective:To compare the therapeutic effects of cannulated screws and Kirschner wires in the treatment of medial malleolar fractures of Salter-Harris types Ⅲ and Ⅳ in children. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the data of 48 and 16 children who had been treated respectively at Department of Pediatric Orthopaedics, Fuzhou Second General Hospital, and Department of Pediatric Orthopaedics, Foshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for medial malleolar fractures of Salter-Harris types Ⅲ and Ⅳ from June 2016 to June 2022. There were 32 males and 32 females with an age of 12 (10, 14) years; 31 left and 33 right sides were affected. By the Salter-Harris classification: type Ⅲ in 45 cases, and type Ⅳ in 19 cases. The patients were divided into 2 groups according to their internal fixation methods. Group A (44 cases) was subjected to internal fixation with cannulated screws and group B (20 cases) to internal fixation with Kirschner wires. At the last follow-up, anteroposterior and lateral X-ray films of their ankle joints were taken for imaging evaluation. Functional recovery of the affected limbs was evaluated based on the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) ankle-hindfoot scoring, and related complications were recorded. Results:The 2 groups were comparable because there were no significant differences in their preoperative general data except laterality ( P>0.05). All the patients were followed up for (37.3±21.5) months and achieved bony union. At the last follow-up, for groups A and B respectively, the distal lateral angle of the tibia was 89.0° (89.0°, 90.0°) and 89.0° (89.0°, 90.0°), the range of ankle motion was 73.5° (67.8°, 76.0°) and 70.0° (70.0°, 75.0°), and the good and excellent rate by the AOFAS ankle-hindfoot scoring was 97.7% (43/44) and 95.0% (19/20), showing no significant difference between the 2 groups ( P>0.05). There was a significant difference between the 2 groups in the incidence of premature physeal closure [36.4% (16/44) versus 65.0% (13/20)] ( P=0.033). Conclusions:In the treatment of medial malleolar fractures of Salter-Harris types Ⅲ and Ⅳ in children, internal fixation with both cannulated screws and Kirschner wires can lead to comparable efficacy in good functional recovery and imaging evaluation. However, fixation with cannulated screws may be more advantageous in reducing the risk of early closure of the epiphysis.

Objective:To analyze the association between visceral fat area (VFA) and fatty liver based on quantitative CT (QCT) in people receiving health examination with normal body mass index (BMI).Methods:A cross-sectional study. A total of 1 305 physical examiners who underwent chest CT and QCT examination in the Department of Health Management of Henan Provincial People′s Hospital from January to December 2021 were retrospectively selected as subjects. The physical components at the central level of the lumbar two cone were measured with QCT, including subcutaneous fat area (SFA), VFA and liver fat content (LFC). And the metabolic indexes, such as blood lipids and blood glucose, were collected. The t-test and χ2 test were used to analyze the correlation between the detection rate of fatty live and LFCr and age and gender. According to level of VFA (<100 cm 2, 100-150 cm 2 and≥150 cm 2), the subjects were divided into three groups, and one-way ANOVA and χ2 test were used in comparison between groups. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the correlation between VFA and metabolic indexes and LFC. Results:Of the 1 305 subjects, there were 634 males and 671 females. The detection rate of fatty liver in normal BMI population was 65.67%, and it was 72.71% and 59.02% respectively in men and women ( χ2=27.12, P<0.001), and the detection rate of fatty liver and LFC increased with age (both P<0.05). With the increase of VFA, the age, BMI, SFA, LFC, total cholesterol (TC), triacylglycerol (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), fasting blood glucose (FBG), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), blood uric acid and prevalence of fatty liver increased (all P<0.05), and the low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) decreased ( P<0.001). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that after adjustment for age factors, regardless of male or female, LFC was independently positively related with VFA, BMI, and ALT (male β=0.206, 0.145, 0.174, female β=0.194, 0.150, 0.184; all P<0.05). FBG was positively correlated with male independently ( β=0.134; P<0.001). The indicators related to female independently were TC, TG, and blood uric acid ( β=-0.121, 0.145, 0.141, all P<0.05) Conclusion:In the population receiving health examination with normal BMI, the VFA measured by QCT technique is closely related to fatty liver.
