Obstructive sleep apnea(OSA)is a common sleep disorder characterized by repeated episodes of upper airway collapse and obstruction during sleep.Polysomnography is the gold standard for diagnosing OSA,but it is expensive,time-consuming,and can cause discomfort for patients.In recent years,acoustic-based approaches for detecting OSA have emerged as a research focus.This review summarizes recent advances in OSA automatic detection techniques based on snoring and speech signals,and systematically examines their applications in diagnosis,severity assessment,and localization of obstruction sites.Findings indicate that the acoustic features of snoring and speech signals hold significant value for OSA screening,and when combined with machine learning and deep learning models,it can achieve high diagnostic accuracy.Future research should focus on elucidating the relationship between acoustic features and the pathophysiological mechanisms of OSA,integrating multimodal information,and advancing the clinical application of wearable devices,with the aim of promoting intelligent,non-invasive,and cost-effective screening technologies for OSA.
2.Serum lipidomic profiling in patients with dermatomyositis based on ultra-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry

Objective:To investigate differences in serum lipid profiles between patients with dermatomyositis (DM) and healthy controls.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data and serum samples collected from 51 patients with DM who visited the First Affiliated Hospital, Anhui Medical University from September 2020 to January 2022. Serum samples were also collected from 66 healthy controls during the same period. Serum lipid profiles were analyzed using ultra-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry in both groups. Differential lipids were screened using principal component analysis and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis. The predictive value of these differential lipids for DM was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, and their correlations with clinical indicators were also evaluated.Results:A total of 51 patients with DM were enrolled, including 27 males and 24 females, with ages ( M[ Q1, Q3]) of 55.00 (47.00, 66.00) years and body mass index (BMI) values of 22.64 (19.79, 24.75) . The control group included 66 healthy individuals (33 males and 33 females) , with ages of 51.00 (43.75, 56.00) years and BMI values of 23.60 (21.18, 25.19) . No significant differences were observed between the two groups in terms of sex, age, or BMI (all P > 0.05) . A total of 341 lipid metabolites were identified, and 16 lipid metabolites such as ceramides (Cer) , sphingomyelins, phosphatidylcholines (PC) , phosphatidylethanolamines, lysophosphatidylcholines (LPC) , and triglycerides (TG) significantly differed between the DM group and the control group, of which 8 were upregulated and 8 were downregulated in the DM group. ROC curve analysis identified 7 differential lipids with area under the curve (AUC) values of > 0.9, of which 2 were Cer, 3 were TG, 1 was phosphatidylethanolamine, and 1 was LPC. In the DM patients, serum LPC (22∶1) levels were negatively correlated with creatine kinase isoenzyme MB levels ( r = -0.276, P < 0.05) , serum PC (15∶1/16∶0) levels were negatively correlated with aspartate aminotransferase levels ( r = -0.305, P < 0.05) , and serum Cer (d18∶1/18∶0) levels were positively correlated with C-reactive protein levels ( r = 0.283, P < 0.05) . Significant differences in serum lipid levels were observed between some DM subgroups (all P < 0.05) : sphingomyelin (d24∶0) levels significantly differed between anti-Sj?gren syndrome type A/Ro52 antibody-positive and -negative DM patients; LPC (17∶1) levels significantly differed between anti-PM-SCL75 antibody-positive and -negative DM patients; LPC (20∶0) and PC (32∶1p) levels significantly differed between anti-Mi-2 antibody-positive and -negative DM patients; LPC (22∶1) and TG (9∶0/9∶0/9∶0) levels significantly differed between anti-TIF1-γ antibody-positive and -negative DM patients; Cer (d18∶1/18∶0) levels significantly differed between DM patients with and without Heliotrope's sign. Conclusion:Lipid profiles were significantly altered in DM patients compared with healthy controls, and some lipids showed potential diagnostic value for DM.

5.Effects of mind mapping based on evidence-based theme in health education of patients undergoing thoracentesis and drainage

Objective:To explore the effect of mind mapping based on evidence-based theme in health education of patients undergoing thoracentesis and drainage.Methods:From September 2020 to December 2021, 78 patients with pleural effusion and thoracentesis drainage diagnosed by infection in Beijing Chaoyang Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University were selected by convenience sampling as the research object. The patients from September 2020 to March 2021 were set as the control group, and the patients from May to December 2021 were set as the observation group, with 39 cases each. The control group was given traditional health education, while the observation group received evidence-based health education with mind mapping. The health education knowledge examination score, self-care ability, adverse event rate and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:The scores of health education knowledge examination in the observation group were higher than those in the control group before , 24 hours after catheterization and before decannulation, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.01) . The total score and each dimension score of self-care ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.01) . The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the score of Nursing Satisfaction Questionnaire was higher than that in the control group, with statistical differences ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The mind mapping on the basis of evidence-based themes can effectively improve patients' health education knowledge and self-care ability, reduce the incidence of adverse events, and increase nursing satisfaction.
6.Diagnosis of acanthosis nigricans in a family by targeted sequencing

A pedigree with familial acanthosis nigricans presenting with atypical clinical symptoms was reported. The 4-year-old female proband began to develop black patches on the neck and abdomen since the age of 1 year, which had gradually spread to the lips and front of the trunk in recent years. Reflectance confocal microscopy of the abdominal skin showed downward extension and twisting of dermal papillary rings with formation of gully-like structures, and moderately to highly refractive particles in the dermal papillary rings. The proband′s father and grandmother had similar medical history, but the pigmentation spontaneously subsided with age, leaving only local thickened skin lines. Peripheral blood samples were collected from the proband, her parents and grandmother, and panel-based targeted sequencing of peripheral blood DNA was performed for the proband. Sequencing showed a missense mutation c.1949A>C (p.Lys650Thr) in exon 14 of the FGFR3 gene in the proband, and Sanger sequencing confirmed the presence of this mutation in the proband and her father and grandmother. A diagnosis of familial acanthosis nigricans was made.
7.Investigation and analysis of prevention and nursing of deep vein thrombosis in Department of Orthopedics of China hospitals

Objective:To explore the current status of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) prevention and nursing in Department of Orthopedics of China hospitals, and provide a basis for hospitals and related departments to promote systematic DVT prevention and nursing management.Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study, and convenience sampling method was used. In September 2019, the self-designed Domestic Orthopedic Deep Vein Thrombosis Prevention and Nursing Questionnaire was used to investigate the members of the Orthopedic Nursing Professional Committee who signed up for the China Health Promotion Foundation Orthopedic Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Prevention and Nursing Management Forum. The survey subject came from 125 hospitals in 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. Respondents completed the electronic questionnaire survey by scanning the quick response code, and 118 valid questionnaires were finally recovered.Results:The proportion of 118 hospitals carrying out in-hospital DVT special training was 82.2% (97/118) . Among the ways for nurses to acquire knowledge, the exchanges outside the hospital, literature review, and international exchange accounted for 70.3% (83/118) , 60.2% (71/118) and 14.4% (17/118) respectively. The proportion of establishing hospital DVT risk early warning information system was 57.6% (68/118) . The hospital-level professional group formulated a complete DVT prevention and nursing system process accounting for 44.1% (52/118) , and the department-level professional group formulated a complete DVT prevention and nursing system process accounting for 36.4% (43/118) . In the comprehensive evaluation of DVT prevention and nursing management, 65.3% (77/118) of hospitals rated it as excellent, and 34.7% (41/118) of hospitals rated it as fair and lacking.Conclusions:The Department of Orthopedics of China hospitals attaches great importance to DVT prevention, but in the construction of DVT prevention and nursing management system for orthopedic patients, the popularization of DVT risk early warning information system, the application of DVT preventive equipment measures, the improvement of DVT prevention and nursing related systems, and the implementation of professional management specifications needs to be further strengthened.
8.JAK-STAT signaling pathway and its inhibitors in the treatment of atopic dermatitis

Janus kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK-STAT) signaling pathway plays an important role in immune pathways in atopic dermatitis (AD) . Drugs that block the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, such as classic JAK inhibitors tofacitinib, ruxolitinib, etc., have been gradually applied to the treatment of AD in clinical trials, and good clinical efficacy has been achieved. In addition, other inhibitors of the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, such as apamin and dupilumab, also show some efficacy in the treatment of AD. This review summarizes recent studies on the JAK-STAT signaling pathway and its inhibitors.
