Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics and risk factors of rotavirus infected in children aged 3-5 years seeking treatment for diarrhea in Jining area. Methods:The epidemiological data of 698 children aged 3-5 years seeking treatment for diarrhea in Jining area hospitals from September 2022 to September 2023 were collected, and fecal samples were collected for laboratory examination. The epidemiological characteristics of the rotavirus infection were analyzed, and logistic regression analysis was applied to analyze the risk factors of rotavirus infection in children aged 3-5 years seeking treatment for diarrhea in Jining area. A predictive model of rotavirus infection in children aged 3-5 years seeking treatment for diarrhea in Jining area was established based on decision tree, and the predictive performance of the model was verified by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Results:The detection of rotavirus antigen showed 302 positive cases, with a positive rate of 43.27% (302/698). Gender distribution: There was no statistically significant difference in the positive rate of rotavirus infection in these diseased children etween different genders ( χ2=1.862, P=0.172). Age distribution: The positive rate of rotavirus infection in these diseased children showed a decreasing trend with age ( χ2=28.893, P<0.001). Time distribution: There was a statistically significant difference in the positive rate of rotavirus infection in these diseased children among different months ( χ2=241.607, P<0.001), showing obvious seasonal characteristics, the high incidence months were from October to the following March, the highest positive rate was in December, and the lowest was in July. Rotavirus genotype: The G genotype result showed that G9 was the most common, P genotype result showed that P[8] was the most common, and the G/P combination genotype result showed that G9P[8] was the most common. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that having finger sucking habits ( OR=4.193, P=0.018), lack of vaccination against rotavirus ( OR=1.947, P=0.002), whether to clean hands before feeding ( OR=4.719, P=0.007), and a history of contact with rotavirus infected children ( OR=4.976, P=0.001) were independent risk factors for rotavirus infection in children aged 3-5 years old who seek treatment for diarrhea in Jining area. The sensitivity of the decision tree model was 58.94%, the specificity was 87.12%, and the AUC was 0.814, indicating that the four selected risk factors could predict rotavirus infection well. Conclusions:Children aged 3-5 years old who seek treatment for diarrhea in Jining area have a relatively high positive rate of rotavirus infection, showing obvious age and time characteristics. The genotype distribution was mainly G9, P[8], and G9P[8]. Rotavirus infection is related to finger sucking habits, lack of vaccination against rotavirus, whether to clean hands before feeding, and a history of contact with rotavirus infected children.

Objective: To study the incidence of bloodstream infections, pathogen distribution, and antibiotic resistance profile in patients with hematological malignancies. Methods: From January 2018 to December 2021, we retrospectively analyzed the clinical characteristics, pathogen distribution, and antibiotic resistance profiles of patients with malignant hematological diseases and bloodstream infections in the Department of Hematology, Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University. Results: A total of 582 incidences of bloodstream infections occurred in 22,717 inpatients. From 2018 to 2021, the incidence rates of bloodstream infections were 2.79%, 2.99%, 2.79%, and 2.02%, respectively. Five hundred ninety-nine types of bacteria were recovered from blood cultures, with 487 (81.3%) gram-negative bacteria, such as Klebsiella pneumonia, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Eighty-one (13.5%) were gram-positive bacteria, primarily Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Enterococcus faecium, whereas the remaining 31 (5.2%) were fungi. Enterobacteriaceae resistance to carbapenems, piperacillin/tazobactam, cefoperazone sodium/sulbactam, and tigecycline were 11.0%, 15.3%, 15.4%, and 3.3%, with a descending trend year on year. Non-fermenters tolerated piperacillin/tazobactam, cefoperazone sodium/sulbactam, and quinolones at 29.6%, 13.3%, and 21.7%, respectively. However, only two gram-positive bacteria isolates were shown to be resistant to glycopeptide antibiotics. Conclusions: Bloodstream pathogens in hematological malignancies were broadly dispersed, most of which were gram-negative bacteria. Antibiotic resistance rates vary greatly between species. Our research serves as a valuable resource for the selection of empirical antibiotics.

OBJECTIVE:
To observe the skin surface microcirculation of acupoints of conception vessel, governor vessel and thoroughfare vessel in patients with primary dysmenorrhea using laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI), and provide acupoint selection basis of acupuncture-moxibustion for primary dysmenorrhea.
METHODS:
Ninety-nine healthy female college students with regular menstrual cycles (normal group) and 94 female college students with primary dysmenorrhea (dysmenorrhea group) were recruited. Before menstrual period, on the first day of menstruation, and on the third day after menstruation, LSCI was used to observe the surface microcirculation at the abdominal acupoints of conception vessel, i. e. Yinjiao (CV 7), Qihai (CV 6), Shimen (CV 5), Guanyuan (CV 4), Zhongji (CV 3) and Qugou (CV 2), acupoints of thoroughfare vessel, i. e. Huangshu (KI 16), Zhongzhu (KI 15), Siman (KI 14), Qixue (KI 13), Dahe (KI 12), Henggu (KI 11) and acupoints of lumbosacral region of governor vessel, i. e. Xuanshu (GV 5), Mingmen (GV 4), Yaoyangguan (GV 3), Yaoshu (GV 2) as well as two non-acupoints.
RESULTS:
Before menstrual period, there was no significant difference in the surface blood perfusion of the acupoints between the dysmenorrhea group and the normal group (P>0.05). On the first day of menstruation, the surface blood perfusion of Xuanshu (GV 5), Mingmen (GV 4), Yaoyangguan (GV 3) and right Huangshu (KI 16) in the dysmenorrhea group was higher than that in the normal group (P<0.05, P<0.01). On the third day after menstruation, the surface blood perfusion of the right Henggu (KI 11) in the dysmenorrhea group was lower than that in the normal group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSION
In patients with primary dysmenorrhea, on the first day of menstruation, the surface blood perfusion of Xuanshu (GV 5), Mingmen (GV 4), Yaoyangguan (GV 3) of governor vessel, and the right Huangshu (KI 16) of thoroughfare vessel is increased, while on the third day after menstruation, the surface blood perfusion of the right Henggu (KI 11) of thoroughfare vessel is decreased. These findings might provide a basis for acupoint selection in the acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of primary dysmenorrhea.

Chronic heart failure(CHF) is a series of clinical syndromes in which various heart diseases progress to their end stage. Its morbidity and mortality are increasing year by year, which seriously threatens people's life and health. The diseases causing CHF are complex and varied, such as coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, cardiomyopathy and so on. It is of great significance to establish animal models of CHF according to different etiologies to explore the pathogenesis of CHF and develop drugs to prevent and treat CHF induced by different diseases. Therefore, based on the classification of the etiology of CHF, this paper summarizes the animal models of CHF widely used in recent 10 years, and the application of these animal models in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) research, in order to provide ideas and strategies for studying the pathogenesis and treatment of CHF, and provide ideas for TCM modernization research.

Chronic heart failure(CHF) is a comprehensive clinical syndrome caused by multiple factors that result in structural and/or functional abnormalities of the heart, leading to impaired ventricular contraction and/or relaxation functions. This medical condition represents the final stage of various cardiovascular diseases. In the treatment of CHF, multiple clinical studies have demonstrated the benefits of using traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) to control oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis, thereby delaying ventricular remodeling and reducing myocardial fibrosis. In this study, common TCM syndromes in the diagnosis and treatment of CHF in recent years were reviewed and summarized. Five common treatment methods including benefiting Qi and activating blood circulation, enhancing Qi and nourishing Yin, warming Yang for diuresis, eliminating phlegm and dampness, rescuing from collapse by restoring Yang, and corresponding classic prescriptions in prevention and treatment of CHF were concluded under the guidance of TCM syndrome differentiation thinking. Meanwhile, research progress on the modern pharmacological effects of these classic prescriptions was systematically discussed, so as to establish a unique treatment system for CHF by classic prescriptions under the guidance of TCM syndrome differentiation theory and provide innovative diagnosis and treatment strategies for clinical CHF.
