Objective: To investigate the influencing factors for anxiety symptoms among human papilloma virus (HPV)-infected women, so as to provide the evidence to improve the mental health of HPV-infected women. Methods: HPV-infected women visiting the gynecology department of a tertiary hospital in Urumqi from September to December 2024 were selected using a convenience sampling method. Basic information of HPV-infected women and information related to HPV infection were collected through a self-designed questionnaire. Anxiety symptoms was assessed by using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), with a GAD-7 score of ≥5 determined to be the presence of anxiety symptoms. Factors affecting anxiety symptoms in HPV-infected women were analyzed using a multivariable logistic regression model. Results: A total of 436 HPV-infected women were investigated. Among them, 361 (82.80%) were aged 30-<60 years old, 286 (65.60%) had a high school/technical secondary school or above, 361 (82.80%) had a spouse, 389 (89.22%) had given birth, and 234 (53.67%) had a family monthly income of less than 5 000 yuan. There were 90 HPV-infected women with multiple HPV infections, accounting for 20.64%. The sexual life of 155 people was affected, accounting for 35.55%. A total of 165 HPV-infected women with anxiety symptoms were detected, with a detection rate of 37.84%. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that multiple HPV infections (OR=1.776, 95%CI: 1.068-2.954), HPV infection time <3 months (OR=1.858, 95%CI: 1.132-3.050), lack of HPV-related knowledge (OR=1.742, 95%CI: 1.045-2.905), sexual life was affected (OR=3.480, 95%CI: 2.146-5.642), and monthly family income was less than 5 000 yuan (OR=1.815, 95%CI: 1.119-2.946) had a higher risk of anxiety symptoms Conclusions The detection rate of anxiety symptoms in HPV-infected women is high. The type of HPV infection, the duration of HPV infection, the understanding of HPV-related knowledge, the impact on sexual life, and the monthly family income are influencing factors of anxiety symptoms among HPV-infected women.

The patient is a male neonate born at term. He was admitted 16 minutes after birth due to stridor and inspiratory respiratory distress. Physical examination revealed a cleft palate, and a grade II systolic ejection murmur was audible at the left sternal border. Whole exome sequencing identified a heterozygous variant in the SON gene, c.5753-5756del (p.Val1918GlufsTer87), which was absent in either parent, indicating a de novo mutation. According to the guidelines of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, this was classified as a "pathogenic variant" leading to a diagnosis of Zhu-Tokita-Takenouchi-Kim (ZTTK) syndrome. Upon admission, symptomatic supportive treatment was provided. Follow-up at the age of 8 months revealed persistent stridor; the infant could only consume small amounts of milk and was unable to sit steadily. This patient represents the youngest reported case to date, and his symptoms expand the clinical spectrum of the disease, providing valuable insights for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of menopause-related symptoms and cognition status of menopausal hormone therapy(MHT)among menopausal women.Methods A total of 619 menopausal women with menopause-related symptoms who were admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University were selected as the study subjects.Data were collected by questionnaire to analyze the characteristics of menopause-related symptoms,and the menopausal women's cognitive status of MHT and therapeutic effects were explored.Results Among 371 perimenopausal women,the menopause-related symptoms with the top three rates were fatigue(69.81％),insomnia(66.85％),and hot flush-sweating(58.22％).Among 248 postmenopausal women,the menopause-related symptoms with the top three rates were hot flashes and sweating(64.11％),bone and joint pain(60.89％),and fatigue(56.85％).The incidence of insomnia and fatigue in postmenopausal women was significantly lower than that in perimenopausal women(P＜0.01),while the incidence of bone and arthralgia,urinary system infection,vaginal dryness and painful intercourse was significantly higher than that in perimenopausal women(P＜0.01).There was no significant difference in Kupperman score between perimenopausal and postmenopausal women(P＞0.05),but score degree distribution differed significantly(P＜0.05).Perimenopausal women had the highest proportion of mild score while postmenopausal women had the highest proportion of moderate score.There were significant differences in Kupperman score among postmenopausal women with different menopause ages,menopause years and menopause mode(P＜0.05).The earlier menopause age and shorter menopause years,the higher Kupperman score was;the Kupperman score was significantly higher in surgical menopause than in natural menopause(P＜0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age of 45-54 years old,retirement or unemployment,spouse's disease or death,abnormal sexual life,and high education level were the risk factors for the occurrence of menopausal symptoms(P＜0.05);high family income and＞3 times/week exercise were the protective factors for the occurrence of menopausal symptoms(P＜0.05).The Internet was the way that accounted for the highest proportion of menopausal women's understanding of MHT(39.92％),and the tumor accounted for the highest proportion of menopausal women's concern about MHT(33.67％).There were 465 menopausal women without MHT contraindications(89.77％)who used MHT under the guidance of professional doctors,and their symptoms improved significantly after treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion Menopausal women have obvious menopause-related symptoms,and the earlier the age,the shorter the menopause years and the more severe symptoms in the surgical menopause.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the impact of menopause on the health of menopausal women and increase the use rate of MHT to improve the quality of life of menopausal women.

Objective To monitor the antifungal resistance of clinical isolates of Candida spp.in the East China region.Methods MALDI-TOF MS or molecular methods were used to re-identify the strains collected from January 2018 to December 2022.Antifungal susceptibility testing was performed using the broth microdilution method.The susceptibility test results were interpreted according to the breakpoints of 2022 Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute(CLSI)documents M27 M44s-Ed3 and M57s-Ed4.Results A total of 3 026 strains of Candida were collected,65.33％of which were isolated from sterile body sites,mainly from blood(38.86％)and pleural effusion/ascites(10.21％).The predominant species of Candida were Candida albicans(44.51％),followed by Candida parapsilosis complex(19.46％),Candida tropicalis(13.98％),Candida glabrata(10.34％),and other Candida species(0.79％).Candida albicans showed overall high susceptibility rates to the 10 antifungal drugs tested(the lowest rate being 93.62％).Only 2.97％of the strains showed dose-dependent susceptibility(SDD)to fluconazole.Candida parapsilosis complex had a SDD rate of 2.61％and a resistance rate of 9.42％to fluconazole,and susceptibility rates above 90％to other drugs.Candida glabrata had a SDD rate of 92.01％and a resistance rate of 7.99％to fluconazole,resistance rates of 32.27％and 48.24％to posaconazole and voriconazole non-wild-type strains(NWT),respectively,and susceptibility rates above 90％to other drugs.Candida tropicalis had resistance rates of 29.55％and 26.24％to fluconazole and voriconazole,respectively,resistance rates of 76.60％and 21.99％to posaconazole and echinocandins non-wild-type strains(NWT),and a resistance rate of 2.36％to echinocandins.Conclusions The prevalence and species distribution of Candida spp.in the East China region are consistent with previous domestic and international reports.Candida glabrata exhibits certain degree of resistance to fluconazole,while Candida tropicalis demonstrates higher resistance to triazole drugs.Additionally,echinocandins resistance has emerged in Candida albicans,Candida glabrata,Candida tropicalis,and Candida parapsilosis.

Aim To prepare prostate cancer exosomes containing melittin and observe their uptake by prostate cancer cells. Methods Cells treated with starvation for different time were screened for exosome extraction. Exosomes from PC-3 cells were extracted by ultracentrifugation, and the extracted particles were examined by transmission electron microscopy, nanoparticle tracking analyzer(NTA), and Western blot. Melittin exosome system was prepared by repeated freeze-thaw method, incubation at room temperature as well as electroporation, and the size of encapsulation efficiency was measured by centrifugation. A high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method was applied to assay the content of melittin exosomes(exo-mel). Fluorescence inverted microscopy was employed to evaluate the uptake of melittin exosomes by PC-3 cells, DU145 cells as well as LNCaP cells. Results The results of starvation treatment showed that 24 h starvation treatment was the optimal time point. TEM results showed that the exosomes were round or oval in shape with a distinct membranous structure, and the diameter was around 100 nm. The reagent protein concentration for NTA analysis of exosomes was 0.222 g·L-1. The results of Western blot for the marker proteins of exosomes showed that Alix and CD63 were positively expressed, which indicated that the exosomes could be obtained by starvation culture of PC-3 cells and ultracentrifugation. The results of entrapment efficiency showed that the entrapment efficiency of electroporation method was 17.51% ± 2.39%, that of repeated freeze-thaw method was 11.46% ± 1.02%, and that of room temperature incubation method was 3.93% ± 2.44%. The encapsulation efficiency of electroporation was the highest with significant difference(P<0.05). The uptake assay showed that PC-3 cells could efficiently take up exo-mel in a time-dependent manner, and DU145 cells and LNCaP cells also could take up exo-mel over time. Conclusions Exosomes can be accessed by starvation treatment and high-speed centrifugation, and the prostate cancer melittin exosome system prepared by electroporation method could be taken up by prostate cancer cells.

Objective To investigate the biological role of LINC01614 in non-small cell lung cancer A549 cells and its drug resistance-related mechanism. Methods The CRISPR/Cas9 technology was used to construct the A549 cell model with knockdown of LINC01614. Transcriptome sequencing was performed on A549 cells knocked down with LINC01614. We validated the transcriptomic differential genes MCAM and ABCC3 at the gene level and MCAM at the protein level, detected the IC₅₀ changes of A549 cells after knockdown of LINC01614 under the effect of different concentrations of cisplatin, and detected the effect of knockdown of LINC01614 on the migration ability of A549 cells. Results Of the 2 713 DEGs after knockdown of LINC01614, a total of 1 626 genes were up-regulated and 1, 087 genes were down-regulated. GO analysis showed that DEGs were associated with intracellular signaling, cell adhesion, and so on. Meanwhile, the KEGG analysis showed that DEGs were associated with the Wnt signaling pathway, TGF-β signaling pathway, and Rap1 signaling pathway. Selection of drug resistance-associated gene ABCC3 from DEGs for validation with MCAM: qRT-PCR results showed that knockdown of LINC01614 significantly down-regulated the expression of MCAM (P<0.05) and upregulated the expression of ABCC3 on A549 cells (P<0.05). After knockdown of LINC01614, the protein expression of MCAM, was significantly decreased in A549 cells (P<0.05); the IC₅₀ of A549 cells to cisplatin was significantly increased (P<0.05); and the scratch healing rate of A549 cells was also significantly decreased (P<0.05). Conclusion LINC01614 may be associated with the proliferation, invasion, and apoptotic pathways of A549 cells. In addition, LINC01614 may exert its migration ability through MCAM and chemoresistance to cisplatin through ABCC3.

Objective:To investigate the grouping characteristics of psychological state symptom clusters in patients with non-small cell lung cancer during programmed death 1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody combined with chemotherapy, and to analyze the predictors of different symptom cluster characteristics.Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study. In the form of a questionnaire, 171 patients with non-small cell lung cancer who received PD-1 monoclonal antibody combined with chemotherapy in Gansu Wuwei Tumor Hospital from March 2019 to March 2021 were selected as the research object by convenient sampling method. The general data questionnaire, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Cancer-Related Fatigue Survey Scale, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, Physical Activity Measurement Scale for Cancer Patients, Distress Thermometer, and Quality of Life Measurement Scale for Lung Cancer Patients were used for investigation. The latent class model was fitted based on the evaluation results of physical fatigue, anxiety, depression, sleep quality and psychological distress in patients with non-small cell lung cancer during treatment. Latent class model analysis was performed on the scale results to establish a category group model. Logistic regression analysis was used to compare the demographic characteristics, disease stage, classification, and personality characteristics of patients in each group, and to explore the predictive indicators between different categories.Results:According to the symptoms of fatigue, anxiety, depression, sleep disorder and psychological distress in patients with non-small cell lung cancer during PD-1 monoclonal antibody therapy combined with chemotherapy, they were divided into two different categories. The group with high psychological symptoms accounted for 44.44% (76/171) and the group with low psychological symptoms accounted for 55.56% (95/171). The scores of physiological status, social/family status, emotional status, functional status, additional attention and physical activity in the quality of life scale of lung cancer patients with low psychological symptoms were 11.28 ± 5.62, 17.57 ± 4.31, 11.14 ± 3.27, 14.83 ± 5.24, 14.76 ± 4.03 and 88.61 ± 17.38, respectively. The scores were higher than those in the high psychological symptom group 17.82 ± 4.43, 10.76 ± 3.63, 18.62 ± 6.06, 9.34 ± 3.13, 26.26 ± 3.23, 58.04 ± 15.41, the differences were statistically significant ( t values were 10.36-15.84, all P<0.05); logistic regression analysis showed that personality traits [extroverted ( OR=0.08, 95 % CI 0.03-0.23, P<0.05), intermediate ( OR=0.16, 95 % CI 0.08-0.33, P<0.05)] and physical activity in cancer patients ( OR=0.91, 95 % CI 0.88-0.93, P<0.05) were predictors for distinguishing high psychological symptom group. Conclusions:There are obvious classification characteristics of psychological symptom clusters in patients with non-small cell lung cancer during PD-1 monoclonal antibody combined with chemotherapy. Different psychological interventions and nursing care are given according to different psychological symptom characteristics during treatment to improve the quality of life of patients.

Objective: To evaluate the prognostic value of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) reserve assessed by gated SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging (SPECT G-MPI) for major adverse cardiovascular event (MACE) in patients with coronary artery disease. Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study. From January 2017 to December 2019, patients with coronary artery disease and confirmed myocardial ischemia by stress and rest SPECT G-MPI, and underwent coronary angiography within 3 months were enrolled. The sum stress score (SSS) and sum resting score (SRS) were analyzed by the standard 17-segment model, and the sum difference score (SDS, SDS=SSS-SRS) was calculated. The LVEF at stress and rest were analyzed by 4DM software. The LVEF reserve (ΔLVEF) was calculated (ΔLVEF=stress LVEF-rest LVEF). The primary endpoint was MACE, which was obtained by reviewing the medical record system or by telephone follow-up once every twelve months. Patients were divided into MACE-free and MACE groups. Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between ΔLVEF and all MPI parameters. Cox regression analysis was used to analyze the independent factors of MACE, and the optimal SDS cutoff value for predicting MACE was determined by receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC). Kaplan-Meier survival curves were plotted to compare the difference in the incidence of MACE between different SDS groups and different ΔLVEF groups. Results: A total of 164 patients with coronary artery disease [120 male; age (58.6±10.7) years] were included. The average follow-up time was (26.5±10.4) months, and a total of 30 MACE were recorded during follow-up. Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that SDS (HR=1.069, 95%CI: 1.005-1.137, P=0.035) and ΔLVEF (HR=0.935, 95%CI: 0.878-0.995, P=0.034) were independent predictors of MACE. According to ROC curve analysis, the optimal cut-off to predict MACE was a SDS of 5.5 with an area under the curve of 0.63 (P=0.022). Survival analysis showed that the incidence of MACE was significantly higher in the SDS≥5.5 group than in the SDS<5.5 group (27.6% vs. 13.2%, P=0.019), but the incidence of MACE was significantly lower in the ΔLVEF≥0 group than in theΔLVEF<0 group (11.0% vs. 25.6%, P=0.022). Conclusions: LVEF reserve (ΔLVEF) assessed by SPECT G-MPI serves as an independent protective factor for MACE, while SDS is an independent risk predictor in patients with coronary artery disease. SPECT G-MPI is valuable for risk stratification by assessing myocardial ischemia and LVEF.

Objective:To understand the status of knowledge, attitude and practice of metabolic syndrome(MS) among the elderly in the community and analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide guidance for the prevention and treatment of MS.Methods:From January 2021 to August 2021, permanent residents(residence duration ≥6 months)aged 65 and above with regular health check examination in Fangzhuang Community Health Service Center of Fengtai District, Beijing were investigated using self-designed MS knowledge, attitude and practice questionnaire.After excluding 34 incomplete questionnaires, the 491 valid questionnaires were recycled with questionnaire valid percentage of 93.5%(491/525). The survey results were analyzed by descriptive analysis, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis H test and multiple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression.Results:The scores of MS knowledge, attitude and practice of the elderly in the community were 7(5, 10), 9(8, 10)and 19(18, 21)respectively.The correct answer rate of the diagnostic criteria of MS components was less than 50%.The score of knowledge about MS in the elderly was positively correlated with the scores of attitudes( r=0.263)and practice( r=0.134)(all P<0.01). The results of univariate and multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender, attending educational lectures and the prevalence of MS were the influencing factors of MS knowledge score(all P<0.05). Leisure time, attending educational lectures, pre-retirement occupation and regular health check examination were the influencing factors for MS attitude score(all P<0.05); attending educational lectures, leisure time, regular health check examination and pre-retirement occupation were the influencing factors for MS practice score(all P<0.05). Conclusions:The elderly in the community have a low level of knowledge about the components and diagnostic criteria of MS, but have a positive attitude and practice towards the prevention and treatment of MS.The level of knowledge, attitude and practice of MS is affected by health education lectures, occupation, regular health check examination and other factors.Health education on the diagnostic criteria and the awareness of disease prevention for the elderly in the community should be strengthened to improve the levels of the knowledge, attitude and practice of MS.

Flavonoids are important active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine, mainly with cardiovascular, anti-liver injury, antioxidant, antispasmodic, and estrogen-like effects. These compounds have obvious effects on the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Macrophage-derived foam cells are the key medium in the process of atherosclerosis(AS). In plaque, allserum lipids, serum lipoproteins, and various pro-or anti-inflammatory stimulating factors, chemokines, and small bioactive molecules can significantly affect the macrophage phenotype and induce stronger pro-inflammatory or anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that some flavonoids can be used for macrophages through different pathways and mechanisms, playing an anti-atherosclerosis effect to different degrees, including promotion of cholesterol efflux from macrophages, anti-foaming of macrophages, inhibition of secretion of inflammatory factors, and antioxidant modified low density lipoprotein(ox-LDL)-induced apoptosis of macrophages. Related gene regulation inclu-ded ATP-binding cassette transporter A1(ABCA1), ATP-binding cassette transporter G1(ABCG1), Toll-like receptor(TLR), and scavenger receptor(SR). In this article, we would review the recent research progress of flavonoids on anti-atherosclerosis effect me-diated by macrophage. It is expected to provide new treatment strategies for AS-related cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and provide research ideas and development directions for the use of related natural medicines and design of new products.
