Objective:To investigate the application of time series models in forecasting pre-hospital emergency ambulance trips in Handan City and develop the LPro ensemble model for improved prediction accuracy to support emergency resource allocation.Methods:Pre-hospital emergency data from Handan Emergency Medical Command Center (2019-2023) were retrospectively analyzed. From 324 799 original records, 289 949 valid records were included after cleaning. The training set (2019-2022: 215 918 records) included 35 527 records in 2019, 52 015 in 2020, 61 836 in 2021, and 66 540 in 2022. The validation set (2023) contained 74 031 records. ARIMA, linear trend seasonal, exponential smoothing, and Prophet models were fitted to the training set. The LPro ensemble model was constructed using MAPE-based weighting (linear trend seasonal model: 0.38, Prophet: 0.62). Performance metrics included MAPE, RMSE, MAE, and R 2. Results:Data showed annual growth (compound annual growth rate 23.27%) and seasonal patterns (October peaks, February troughs). Ambulance dispatches increased annually with monthly cyclical patterns. For 2023 validation predictions: ARIMA (MAPE 8.76%, RMSE 619, MAE 491, R 2 0.4563), linear trend seasonal (MAPE 9.83%, RMSE 671, MAE 545, R 2 0.3608), Prophet (MAPE 8.43%, RMSE 562, MAE 503, R 2 0.5513), exponential smoothing (MAPE 8.08%, RMSE 643, MAE 410, R 2 0.4124). LPro model showed superior performance (MAPE 7.05%, RMSE 491, MAE 393, R 2 0.6570), with 16.37% lower MAPE, 12.63% lower RMSE, 21.87% lower MAE, and 19.17% higher R 2 versus Prophet. Conclusion:The LPro ensemble model substantially enhances prediction accuracy and reliability, offering scientific support for emergency resource optimization and dispatch scheduling in Handan City.

The ways of treating diabetes mellitus with depression by using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) include internal treatment, external treatment and combining internal and externalmethod, mostly based on the viscera syndrome differentiation and Qi blood phlegm stasis syndrome differentiation, focusing on soothing the liver qi and regulating, liver and spleen. The internal treatments mainly include self-made prescriptions or classic prescriptions, such as Jiawei-Xiaoyao Powder, Danggui-Shaoyao Decoction, Wendan Decoction, etc; External treatments mainly include common acupuncture, ear acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, abdominal acupuncture, acupoint application, etc. The above treatments can improve the symptoms of depression, and control the blood glucose level.

The epidemic of COVID-19 has lasted for nearly a year, the number of confirmed cases worldwide is still rising, and the trend of the epidemic is unclear. How will be the further development of COVID-19 epidemic? What is the current status of research on new drugs for coronary virus disease? Will the vaccine currently used change the epidemic pattern? In the context of the normalization of the epidemic, whether the epidemiology of other respiratory viruses will change? This article will discuss and analyze these hot and difficult issues.

Objective To indentify the cognitive status of Chinese patients to acne and the influencing factors to theirs' cognitive status,so as to provide solid evidences for the prevention and treatment of acne. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was made to conduct this survey of 16,156 acne patients, who seeked to the treatment in the dermatological departments from 112 hospitals in China. The survey consisted of several parts, including the general status of patients, the patients' cognition of occurrence, development and risk factors of acne, whether the first choice was seeking treatment at the hospital when the patients had acne and the condition of selection of skin care products. The factors were analyzed, which could impact the cognition of the patients' behavior of treatment, how did the patients' cognition to influence their medical behavior and skin care as well as the consistency of assessment of the severity of acne by doctors and patients themselves. Results The acne patients studied had the best knowledge of "acne is a skin disease","it not only occurs in the period of adolescence" and "the disease can be prevented and cured",which accordingly accounted for 80.65%,69.16% and 65.49% of the total patients respectively. However, the awareness of acne patients to heredity, high sugar and dairy products as risk factors for acne was insufficient, which accounted for 48.72%,42.40% and 18.25% of the total patients, respectively.Gender, age, educational level, occupation and health knowledge were the main factors affecting the cognitive level of patients;the survey also found that men, patient with educational level of junior high or even lower educational condition, occupation of labor workers or farmers and patients were lack of health education with poor knowledge of the genetics and dietary were risk factors for acne;patients with age over 36 years or with mild illness had poor knowledge of dietary risk factors for acne;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The analysis of the influence of cognitive status on medical treatment behavior and skin care showed that the better the cognition, the higher the probability of patients would choose medical treatment as the first choice as well as choosing functional skin care products;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The consistency of assessment of the severity of acne by doctors and patients was poor (Kappa value <0.4),and the assessment of severity of acne by patients was more serious than doctors' assessment. Conclusions Patient's cognitive status will affect their medical behavior and skin care, and there is also a phenomenon that patients have a more serious assessment of their acne condition. It is suggested that health education for acne patients should be strengthened in clinical medicine so as to improve their knowledge of acne as well as preventing from acne effectively.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of Compound pueraria tablets on the kidney tissues of diabetic nephropathy rats. METHODS:High sugar and lipid diet combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin were used to establish the model of diabetic nephropathy (DN). Normal control group was established. Model rats were randomly divided into model control group, positive control group(Irbesartan tablet),Compound pueraria tablets low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose [0.102,0.203,0.406 g/(kg·d)] groups(n were 8-10). The corresponding drugs were given, and fasting blood glucose(FBG)and 24 h urinary protein (Upro) were collected at 1st,14th,28th,42nd,56th day after treatment. SCr,BUN,TC,TG and KI were detected, and renal pathology was observed after the last dose. RESULTS:Compared with normal group,FBG of those groups were all increased after modeling, and 24 h Upro of them were all increased after 28th day (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with model control group, FBG of Compound pueraria tablets medium-dose and high-dose groups were all decreased since 42nd day (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and 24 h Upro of Compound pueraria tablets groups were all decreased since 28th day(P<0.05 or P<0.01);BUN,TC,TG and KI of Compound pueraria tablets in medium-dose and high-dose groups were all decreased significantly, and SCr of 3 dose groups were all increased (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The morphological structure of renal cells was improved significantly in drug treatment groups. CONCLUSIONS:Compound pueraria tablets can correct lipid metabolism disorder, reduce Upro and improve renal func-tion,indicating certain protective effect on the kidney tissues of diabetic nephropathy rats.
