Objective The application value of left ventricular global longitudinal strain(LVGLS)in early cardiac function impairment in diabetes mellitus was analyzed by two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging. Methods A total of 45 patients with diabetes mellitus who were treated in Loudi Central Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as study objects.Based on the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),patients were divided into group A(HbA1c≤11.5%,20 cases)and group B(HbA1c>11.5%,25 cases). The clinical data and echocardiographic parameters of two groups were compared. The relationship between clinical data, echocardiographic parameters and LVGLS was analyzed by multifactor linear regression. Results Weight and LVGLS in group B were significantly lower than those in group A,HbA1c and interventricular septal thickness were significantly higher than those in group A(P<0.05).Multifactor linear regression analysis showed that there was a linear relationship between HbA1c and LVGLS(β=-0.511).Conclusion Increased HbA1c in diabetes mellitus patients is an independent risk factor for LVGLS.

Objective: The current investigation aimed to determine the appropriate dosage form by comparing solid dispersion and liposome to achieve the purpose of improving the solubility and bioavailability of linarin. Methods: Linarin solid dispersion (LSD) and linarin liposome (LL) were developed via the solvent method and the thin film hydration method respectively. The Transwell chamber model of Caco-2 cells was established to evaluate the absorption of drug. The pharmacokinetics of linarin, LSD and LL in rats after ig administration were carried out by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method. Results: The solubility of LSD and LL was severally 3.29 times and 3.09 times than that of linarin. The permeation coefficients of LSD and LL were greater than 10

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the clinical and pathologic features of angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma(AITL) and provide evidence for diagnosis.
METHODS:
Eighteen AITL patients (9 males and 9 females aged from 14 to 70 years) were retrospectively analyzed in Xiangya Hospital of Central South University from July 2002 to September 2007.
RESULTS:
Characteristic features at the presentation of AITL included generalized lymphadenopathy, fever, splenomegaly, and skin rashes with polyclonal hyper-gammaglobulinemia and other hematological abnormalities (such as Coombs-positive hemolytic anemia), which often involved the bone marrow and had well-described histologic features. The positive rate for CXCL13 was 93.3%.
CONCLUSION
Repeated lymphadenbiopsy is helpful for AITL diagnosis. Routine histological and immunohistochemical examinations (especially including CXCL13) play significant role in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of AITL.
