Objective:Predictive modelling of risk of cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI) in lung cancer patients from the perspective of precision health in nursing science. Methods:Prospectively collected lung cancers treated in the Department of Respiratory Medicine of Affiliated Nanjing Brain Hospital, Nanjing Medical University from October 2023 to April 2024 as study subjects by a convenience samphing method. Lasso regression was used to screen the characteristic variables and construct the prediction model, and the predictive ability was evaluated by the AUC of the subjects′operating characteristics; Bootstrap resampling (1 000 times) internal validation of the model; the Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit test was performed and the calibration curve was plotted to evaluate the calibration of the model; the clinical validity of the model was evaluated by decision cure analysis (DCA).Results:A total of 142 patients with lung cancer were included, 94 males and 38 females. The incidence of CRCI in lung cancer patients was 69.7%(99/142). Lasso regression showed that age(≥65), education, tumor stage, serum albumin, and PLR were independent risk factors for CRCI (coefficients of 0.372 048 72, - 0.361 265 78, 0.068 728 00, - 0.039 940 32, 0.001 639 92 respectively). The model AUC was 0.874 (95% CI: 0.815-0.933), with a sensitivity of 0.768, and a specificity of 0.860; the H-L goodness-of-fit test showed good agreement ( χ2 = 4.51, P>0.05), and Bootstrap re-sampling internal validation showed an AUC of 0.826. Calibration curves showed good agreement and accuracy between the model predicted probabilities and the actual observed probabilities. DCA showed that the model had clinical benefit when the threshold probability was approximately>25%. Conclusions:The CRCI column-line diagram risk model constructed in this study has good predictive efficacy and can effectively predict the occurrence of CRCI in lung cancer patients.

Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)is a typical spinal arthritis characterised by inflammatory back pain, which seriously affects the health and quality of life of patients. The clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis is clear, but the mechanism is not clear, and the existing animal models cannot be well applied to the evaluation of Chinese medicine in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis. Therefore, this paper summarizes the existing animal models based on Chinese and Western medicine clinical diagnosis, disease characteristics, etiology and Chinese medicine evidence, and finds that among the existing animal models, the proteoglycan-induced arthritis mouse model has a higher Chinese and Western medicine clinical fit than the other models, but lacks the corresponding Chinese medicine evidence model evaluation. The other animal models had a higher Western clinical match, but lacked the characteristics of the Traditional Chinee Medicine(TCM)syndrome. As ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease with complex pathogenic factors, the existing animal models cannot better simulate the clinical symptoms. Therefore, the establishment of animal models of ankylosing spondylitis with the characteristics of Chinese and Western clinical evidence is a future research priority for AS TCM.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a group of digestive tract diseases characterized by chronic intestinal inflammation, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn′s disease. The over-sustained immune response driven by imbalance of intestinal microbiota plays a key role in the initiation and progression of IBD. Studies have identified that intestinal microbiome possesses more than a hundred trillion types, including bacteria and fungi, which collectively participates in energy metabolism, intestinal barrier function and immune balance. There exists a stable relationship between fungi and bacteria in the intestine, involving cooperation, antagonism, and mutualism. Fungus-bacterium homeostasis plays an important role in maintaining intestinal homeostasis. Based on intestinal fungus changes in IBD patients, this article reviews the research progress in intestinal immunomodulation and therapeutic strategies derived from fungus-bacterial homeostasis.

Patients with Crohn's disease (CD) are often complicated with malnutrition and enteral nutrition is the preferred option for nutritional support. Enteral nutrition is the first-line therapy to induce remission of CD in children, but its application in adults has not been well established. In recent years, studies have found that enteral nutrition can not only improve the nutritional status in adult CD patients, but also induce and maintain CD remission through various mechanisms. Given its favorable nutritional efficacy and safety, enteral nutrition has been considered as the basic treatment for adult CD patients and often used in combination with other treatment approaches. However, any combination therapy should be assessed in terms of benefit and risk. This review aims to describe the efficacy and safety of enteral nutrition combined with other treatment approaches in adult CD patients and enumerate common applicable clinical settings, so as to better inform clinical treatment.
