A method was developed for determination of dilauryl thiodipropionate(DLTDP)in fried foods by coupling solid-phase extraction(SPE)pretreatment with reverse-phase liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(RPLC-MS/MS)detection.Samples were extracted with n-hexane as the solvent,purified using a neutral alumina SPE cartridge,and finally analyzed by RPLC-MS/MS.Quantitative analysis was performed using matrix-matched calibration curves combined with an external standard method under optimal experimental conditions.The results showed that DLTDP exhibited good linearity in the range of 2.0-50.0 μg/L,with a correlation coefficient(R2)≥0.999.The limit of detection(LOD)and the limit of quantification(LOQ)of the method were 0.15 mg/kg and 0.5 mg/kg,respectively.The mean recoveries at three fortification levels(0.5,1.0,and 200 mg/kg)in different samples ranged from 84.8%to 96.8%,with the relative standard deviations(RSDs)all less than 8.0%.The developed method was highly sensitive,accurate and reliable,and easy to operate,making it well suited for the routine quantitative analysis of DLTDP in fried foods.

Objective To investigate factors influencing the occurrence of early haematoma expansion(HE)in patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage(sICH),to develop a predictive model and evaluate its predictive efficacy.Methods A retrospective cohort of 238 patients with sICH,admitted to General Hospital of Western Theater Command between January 2017 and December 2022,was analyzed.Patients were categorized into two groups based on the criteria of HE exceeding 33%in relative volume or 6 ml in absolute volume:HE group(n=62)and non-haematoma expansion(NHE)group(n=176).Clinical characteristics,laboratory findings,Non-contrast Computed Tomography(NCCT)imaging,and Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS)scores were compared between the two groups.Multifactorial logistic regression analysis was employed to identify risk factors for HE and to model the probability of its occurrence.The R language rms package was utilized to construct a nomogram model for predicting HE in sICH patients,Additionally,the related clinical,NCCT,and GCS models were constructed.The predictive efficacy of each model for HE in sICH patients was evaluated using area under Receive Operative Characteristic(ROC)curve(AUC),and the clinical application value of each model was assessed using accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,and Jordon's index.The Delong test was applied to analyze differences in the predictive values of the models.Results Significant differences in satellite sign,vortex sign,and history of anticoagulant treatment were observed between two groups(P<0.05).Multifactorial logistic regression analysis revealed independent risk factors for HE in sICH patients,including the first CT examination time,homogeneity,history of anticoagulant medication,volume,maximal diameter,hypodensity sign,island sign,satellite sign,and vortex sign(P<0.05).The AUCs for the constructed clinical model,NCCT model,GCS model and nomogram model in predicting the occurrence of HE in sICH patients were 0.672,0.706,0.518 and 0.754,respectively.The nomogram model demonstrated higher accuracy,sensitivity,Jordon's index and AUC compared with those in the clinical and NCTT models.Conclusions The first CT examination time,homogeneity,history of anticoagulant treatment,volume,maximum diameter,hypodensity sign,island sign,satellite sign,and vortex sign are independent predictors of early HE in sICH patients.The nomogram model,constructed with the above parameters,demonstrated high predictive efficacy for HE and holds potential for clinical application.

Objective:To analyze the efficiency of human resource allocation and its spatial distribution characteristics of district-level Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC)in city N of Jiangsu Province in 2020,in order to provide a strong decision-making reference for optimizing and strengthening the CDC talent team.Methods:The efficiency of human resources of district-level CDC of City N in2020 was measured using the Super-Efficiency SBM model,and the spatial association pattern was analyzed using the natural break point classification method and Moran's index,with the visualization presented through LISA maps.Results:The overall level of human resource efficiency in district-level CDC of City N is relatively high.However,spatially,there are significant differences among the regions,showing a trend of high efficiency in the central areas and low efficiency at the ends.Moran's index and LISA maps indicate a negative spatial correlation in efficiency,with a low-high(L-H)cluster centered on Area L and a high-low(H-L)cluster centered on Area J.The high-high(H-H)cluster pattern has not yet formed,exhibiting a characteristic of interspersed high and low efficiency.Conclusions:There are regional differences in the human resource efficiency of the Disease Control Center in City N,and the spatial cluster pattern needs to be optimized.It is recommended to focus on efficiency improvement in Areas P and L,formulate appropriate policies,and promote coordinated regional development.

OBJECTIVE: The prevalence and related factors of serum anti-HCV in different regions and hospitals have not been studied extensively in China. We used routine screening data to determine the prevalence of HCV antibody in hospital patients, evaluate the epidemic trend of hepatitis C and formulate screening strategies. METHODS: Patient information and HCV antibody testing results were collected from January 2017 to December 2019 in 77 HCV sentinel hospitals in China. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression was used to determine the characteristics and associations. RESULTS: HCV antibody prevalence rates were distinct among patients in different departments, with a range of 0.33%-6.93%. Patients who were admitted to the liver disease-related departments (a OR = 10.76; 95% CI, 10.27-11.28), Internal Medicine (a OR = 2.87; 95% CI, 2.75-3.00), and Department of Surgery (a OR = 1.95; 95% CI, 1.87-2.04), were more likely to be tested for HCV antibody positive. HCV antibody prevalence was associated with patients aged 45 years and older (a OR = 2.74; 95% CI, 2.69-2.80), testing in infetious disease hospitals (a OR = 2.33; 95% CI, 2.26-2.40) and secondary hospitals (a OR = 1.72; 95% CI, 1.69-1.75). Patients in sentinel hospitals of the Northeast (a OR = 12.75; 95% CI, 12.40-13.11), the Central (a OR = 1.65; 95% CI, 1.61-1.70), and the West (a OR = 1.78; 95% CI, 1.73-1.83) China had higher HCV prevalence than those who were in the Eastern coastal area. CONCLUSION Those who were over 45 years old and saw doctors for liver diseases, and invasive diagnosis and treatment should be referred to HCV antibody testing.

OBJECTIVES: To investigate local cerebral blood perfusion in preterm infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) based on cerebral blood flow (CBF) values of arterial spin labeling (ASL). METHODS: A prospective study was conducted on 90 preterm infants with a gestational age of <32 weeks and a birth weight of <1 500 g who were born in the Department of Obstetrics and admitted to the Department of Neonatology in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from August 2021 to June 2022. All of the infants underwent cranial MRI and ASL at the corrected gestational age of 35-40 weeks. According to the presence or absence of BPD, they were divided into a BPD group with 45 infants and a non-BPD group with 45 infants. The two groups were compared in terms of the CBF values of the same regions of interest (frontal lobe, temporal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, thalamus, and basal ganglia) on ASL image. RESULTS: Compared with the non-BPD group, the BPD group had a significantly lower 1-minute Apgar score, a significantly longer duration of assisted ventilation, and a significantly higher incidence rate of fetal distress (P<0.05). After control for the confounding factors such as corrected age and age at the time of cranial MRI by multiple linear regression analysis, compared with the non-BPD group, the BPD group still had higher CBF values of the frontal lobe, temporal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, basal ganglia, and thalamus at both sides (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS BPD can increase cerebral blood perfusion in preterm infants, which might be associated with hypoxia and a long duration of assisted ventilation in the early stage.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the mechanism of Haitongpi Prescription extract in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis based on transcriptome. METHODS: Total of 12 SPF grade rats were divided into control group(group C), model group(group M), and Haitongpi prescription group(group HP). The knee osteoarthritis rat model was established using the Panicker method for group M and group HP, and group HP was intervened by local topical application of Haitongpi Prescription extract for 4 weeks. Total RNA from mouse knee cartilage was extracted and three sets of differential genes were obtained through sequencing.Differential genes were prediction and analysis through GO function and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis. RESULTS: A total of 109 differentially expressed genes were identified in Group C versus Group M, while 118 differentially expressed genes were identified in Group M versus Group HP, resulting in a total of 28 genes. GO functional enrichment analysis showed that the mechanism of HP extract in treating knee osteoarthritis mainly involved immunoglobulin mediated immune response, immunoglobulin complexes, and antigen binding; KEGG pathway enrichment analysis showed correlation with tumor necrosis factor (TNF) signaling pathway, interleukin 17(IL-17) signaling pathway, and estrogen signaling pathway. CONCLUSION HP extract can exert therapeutic effects on knee osteoarthritis through mechanisms such as immunoglobulin mediated immune response, immunoglobulin complexes, and antigen binding, as well as signaling pathways such as TNF signaling pathway, IL-17 signaling pathway, and estrogen signaling pathway.

Objective To investigate the occurrence and clinical characteristics of the adverse reactions of hyperammonemic encephalopathy caused by sodium valproate and provide reference for the safe clinical use of the drug.Methods CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,PubMed and Web of Science databases were electronically searched to collect case reports on valproate-induced hyperammonemic encephalopathy from the inception to March 2023.The extracted data was conducted for statistical analysis.Results A total of 37 documents with 41 patients were finally included.Among them,28 patients(68.3%)were males and 13 patients(31.7%)were females,aged 5 to 78 years,the median age was 41 years;most of the patients had no underlying diseases but the blood ammonia concentrations of them were abnormally high in laboratory tests,and the main clinical manifestations were neurological impairment such as cognitive impairment,drowsiness,coma and other disorders of consciousness.After drug discontinuation,drug switch and symptomatic treatment,they gradually recovered consciousness and the blood ammonia concentrations returned to normal.Conclusion It is not easy to recognize and detect the high blood ammonia encephalopathy caused by the application of sodium valproate in clinical practice,so the clinical performance and blood concentration of this drug should be closely monitored,and once the abnormalities are detected,patients should be treated symptomatically in time to ensure the safety of the drug use.
