As the leading cause of cancer death worldwide, lung cancer sees about 2.1 million new cases and 1.8 million deaths every year, mainly caused by smoking, secondhand smoke and air pollution. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and small cell lung cancer (SCLC) are the main types, which put a heavy burden on patients’ family. In order to reduce the burden of lung cancer patients, prevention and early screening are crucial, and the survival rate of patients with early-stage NSCLC can exceed 85%, but the lack of primary medical resources affects early detection and early treatment. To this end, professor Bai Chunxue’ team has developed the GPT-enabled Lung Cancer Screening 5A program (GPT-LSapp 5A) by combining generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The program integrates chest CT, clinical information and laboratory data to provide personalized diagnosis and treatment plans through the cloud platform to alleviate the imbalance of medical resources. This technology can improve the efficiency of lung cancer screening in primary hospitals and achieve hierarchical diagnosis and treatment. GPT-LSapp 5A can integrate multi-source data to generate detailed screening reports, shorten the CT reading time, reduce the burden on doctors, and help upload case information, generate artificial intelligence (AI) reports, and remote consultation with experts to achieve resource sharing. Its “cloud” system is responsible for data integration and analysis, generating intelligent reports and diagnostic recommendations, and optimizing clinical pathways. The “end” program is responsible for data collection, preliminary analysis and user interaction at primary hospitals to improve the intelligence of the front-end. Although GPT-LSapp 5A faces challenges such as data privacy, format integration, and network performance, it can be solved through measures such as encryption, standardized interfaces, and edge computing. With the advancement of AI technology, GPT-LSapp 5A is expected to play a key role in lung cancer screening at primary hospitals, channeling medical resources down to the community level and improving patient outcomes.

ObjectiveTo explore effect of Huanglian Jiedutang (HLJDT) on autophagy-related protein expression in septic mice with liver injury induced by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP). MethodSixty eight-week-old C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into four groups, namely, the sham operation group, model group, and low- (1.44 g∙kg-1) and high-dose (2.88 g∙kg-1) HLJDT groups, with 15 in each group. The septic model was established by CLP after the last administration of HLJDT for three successive days. The survival rate of mice with 24 h was observed. The mice were sacrificed 12 h after operation for collecting the serum and liver tissue. The levels of serum interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in serum by biochemical method. The pathological changes in liver tissue were observed by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining, and the apoptosis index (AI) of hepatocytes by TdT-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end-labeling (TUNEL). The expression levels of protein high-mobility group box 1 protein (HMGB1), Beclin1, and microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 (LC3)-Ⅱ/Ⅰ in the liver tissue were assayed by Western blot. ResultCompared with the sham operation group, the model group showed reduced survival rate at 12 and 24 h, elevated IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-1β levels, enhanced AST and ALT activities (P<0.05), hepatocyte swelling, inflammatory cell infiltration, and apoptosis, and up-regulated HMGB1 (P<0.05), Beclin1, and LC3-Ⅱ/Ⅰ (P<0.05). Compared with the model group, each medication group exhibited increased survival rate at 12 and 24 h, lowered IL-6 and TNF-α levels, weakened AST and ALT activities (P<0.05), alleviated liver injury and apoptosis (P<0.05), down-regulated HMGB1 expression ( P<0.05), and up-regulated Beclin1 and LC3-Ⅱ/Ⅰ (P<0.05). ConclusionHLJDT alleviates the liver injury of septic mice possibly by inducing autophagy and inhibiting apoptosis.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2020;37(2):280-287
Wireless power transfer (WPT) is a new power transmission way, which can be widely used in electric vehicles and other fields. Its electromagnetic environment must be analyzed to ensure safe application. A low-power wireless power transfer system experimental platform was built, with 25 W receiving power and 47 kHz resonant frequency, which was used to carry out animal experiments. Treatment mice were exposed to environment of wireless power transfer system for 5 h a day and 6 days as one cycle. At the end of every cycle, learning memory behavior of mice were detected in T-shaped maze. The exposure experiment lasted for 12 weeks. Finally, immune parameters, sex hormones and part of organ physiological structure were detected. The results are as follows: as exposure time increased, memory behavior of mice did not change obviously with no statistical difference in sex hormone either ( > 0.05), the concentration of immune factors including tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin 6 (IL-6) and interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) significantly increased ( < 0.05), and the structure of some organs showed some changes. The experimental results show that the environment of the wireless power transfer system has no effect on the memory behavior of mice, and has some effect on physiological properties of mice.

Chinese journal of integrative medicine 2018;24(7):531-536
OBJECTIVETo reveal the force mechanism for therapeutic effect of pushing manipulation with one-finger meditation.
METHODSA total of 15 participants were recruited in this study and assigned to an expert group, a skilled group and a novice group, with 5 participants in each group. Mechanical signals were collected from a biomechanical testing platform, and these data were further observed via similarity analysis and cluster analysis.
RESULTSComparing the force waveforms of manipulation revealed that the manipulation forces were similar between the expert group and the skilled group (P>0.05). The mean value of vertical force was 9.8 N, and 95% CI rang from 6.37 to 14.70 N, but there were significant differences compared with the novice group (P<0.05). The result of overall similarity coefficient cluster analysis showed that two kinds of manipulation forces curves were existed between the expert group and the skilled group.
CONCLUSIONPushing manipulation with one-finger meditation is a kind of light stimulation manipulation on the acupoint, and force characteristics of double waveforms continuously alternated during manual operation.

We have carried out the investigation on a sponge-derived fungus, which was identified as Emericella variecolor from the south sea of China. Two new chemical constituents,(+)-2-acetyl-dihydroterrein (1) and (+)-3-acetyl-dihydroterrein (2),with four known compounds, anditomin (3),andilesin A (4),andilesin C (5) and andilesin B (6),were isolated from this fungus by column chromatography over silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, and ODS. The structures of 1 and 2 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including NMR,HR-ESI-MS,and CD.
