Objective:
To explore the association between processed food consumption and anxiety symptoms among college students in Yunnan Province, so as to provide a reference for the prevention and treatment of anxiety symptoms in this population.
Methods:
A cluster random sample of 2 515 first year students from two universities in Yunnan Province was selected to carry out a longitudinal investigation which included a baseline survey (November 2021, T1) and three follow up visits (June 2022, T2; November 2022, T3; June 2023, T4). The food frequency questionnaire was administered to assess processed food consumption, and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 (DASS-21, Chinese version) was used to evaluate anxiety symptoms. A generalized estimation equation model was used to analyze the relationship between processed food consumption and anxiety symptoms.
Results:
The detection rates of T1-T4 anxiety symptoms among college students in Yunnan Province were 29.70%, 36.70%, 37.69% and 38.73 %, respectively, and the corresponding anxiety symptom scores were 4(0,8), 4(0,10), 4(0,12), 2(0,14). After controlling for demographic variables and confounding factors in the generalized estimation equation model, a statistically significant association was found between consumption of carbonated beverages ( β=0.06, 95%CI =0.03-0.08), and other processed snacks ( β= 0.04 , 95%CI =0.01-0.07) ( P <0.05). The stratified analysis by gender showed that the consumption of carbonated beverages ( β=0.08, 95%CI =0.05-0.12) and fast food ( β=0.03, 95%CI =0.00-0.06) was significantly associated with anxiety symptoms in female college students ( P <0.05). There was no significant association between processed food consumption and anxiety symptoms in male college students ( P >0.05).
Conclusions
Processed food consumption by college students in Yunnan Province may increase the risk of anxiety symptoms, particularly among female students. There is a need to strengthen guidance in respect to processed food consumption, so as to prevent and treat anxiety symptoms.

Objective:To explore the application effect of 3D printing technology in comprehensive reconstruction of thumb and finger. Methods:From January, 2018 to January, 2020, 67 patients with 84 thumbs and fingers defects were selected, which were 37 thumbs and 47 fingers, and 45 of I-III degree and 39 of IV-VI degree. The method of operation was comprehensive reconstruction of thumbs and fingers assisted by 3D printing technology. The patient's hands and feet were scanned with CT and 3D modeling, and the 1∶1 model was derived. The skin model and bone model of thumb and finger defect were printed. Put the skin model on the great toes, and design the shape of the nail flap to be cut. Then the flap was spread in the groin area to design the perforating branch flap of the superficial circumflex iliac artery. The interphalangeal joint or metatarsophalangeal joint of the second toe was cut off according to the skeleton model (when the length of the bone joint was not enough, the iliac bone strip was taken to be connected in series). The effect of operation was observed in outpatient. Results:All of the 84 thumbs and fingers survived and were followed-up for 3 to 24 months. The appearance of the reconstructed thumbs and fingers was similar to that of the normal ones, with good texture and elasticity. The nail was smooth and glossy. The sensory recovery was S 3+, and the TPD was 4-6 mm. According to the Evaluation Standard of Finger Replantation and Reconstruction of Hand Surgery Society of Chinese Medical Association, 70 thumbs and fingers were excellent and 14 thumbs and fingers were good. In 64 thumbs and fingers, all toes were preserved in the donor area, and the color and texture of the flap were satisfactory, which did not affect walking, running and jumping, and had no walking pain. Conclusion:With the help of 3D printing technology, the tissues can be cut more accurately during the thumb and finger comprehensive reconstruction, which not only improves the beauty of reconstructed thumbs and fingers, but also avoids unnecessary trauma and improves the satisfaction of patients.

Objective The aim of this study is to dynamically investigate peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets in fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) patients at different stages,to evaluate the influence of these changes in the infection process. Methods Case-control study was used in the research.Twelveconfirmedthrombocytopeniasyndromevirus ( SFTSV ) infectedpatientswere enrolled.According to SFTS prevention guide issued by Chinese Ministry of Health, these patients were divided into two groups, recovery group and death group. For each group, dynamic profiles of the CD3 + T cells,CD4 + helper T cells,CD8 + cytotoxic T cell and CD3 - CD16 + CD56 + natural killer cells were tested by flow cytometry.Meanwhile, the relationshipsbetween these dynamicchanges and liver function, leukocytes, and platelets were analyzed respectively. Two independent-samples t test was used to compare the difference of the peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets count between the SFTS patients and healthy control.Small sample was analyzed by Mann-Whitney U test. Results In the early stage of infection,Th cells in peripheral blood of recovery group were significantly reduced and Th/Tc ratio was reversed. On day 5,7,9 of post infection,Th cell counts in peripheral blood were (740.9 ± 6.4),(836.2 ± 272.3 ) and ( 1083.6 ± 319.7 ) cells/μl respectively, which were significantly lower than health control ( 1351.4 ± 295.1 ) cells/μl ( t value was -2.883,-4.235,-2.145 respectively, all P <0.05).Tc cell counts were significantly more than healthy controls (690.1 ± 194.8) cells/μl through the course, which were ( 1006.3 ±356.5),(1166.4±242.4),(1102.4±245.9),(991.3±205.1) and (886.5±154.5) cells/μl on day 7,9,11,13,15 of the course (t value was 3.312,5.661,4.574,3.874,2.382,all P<0.05).NK cells were decreased significantly from the ninth day of the course.Associated with abnormal changes of cell subsets,WBC and PLT decreased significantly, and serum ALT,AST,LDH and CK etc.were higher than normal level. With the disease recovery, the abnormality above was gradually improved. In contrast, death cases showed significant decrease in T and Th cells compared with health control (P < 0.05).On day 7,8,9 of the course, the counts of total T cell were (735.9 ± 359.9),(724.9 ± 125.9),(845.3 ± 389.3) cells/μl and the counts of Th cell were ( 533.2 ± 246.9 ),( 532.1 ± 105.7 ),( 551.7 ± 86.9 ) cells/μl,significantly lower than healthy control ( 1727.9 ± 230.2 ) cells/μl and ( 1351.4 ± 295.1 ) cells/μl,with statistically differences (z value was - 2.828, - 2.342,- 2.342 and - 2.828, - 2.342, - 2.342,all P < 0.05 ).On day 7,8,9 of the course, the numbers of NK cell in death group were ( 1141.8 ± 415.5),( 1047.2 ±68.4),( 1276.3 ±545.3) cells/μl,which were significantly more than health group (470.7 ± 242.2) cells/μl,with statistically differences (z value was - 2.180,- 2.335,- 2.258,all P <0.05).Conclusions SFTSV infection can induce cell immunity damage. The changes of lymphocyte subsets are associated with clinical classification and prognosis.Significant reduction of T cell and CD4 +cell in peripheral blood are accompanied with significant increase of NK cell, which may be a pivotal indicator of poor prognosis and play an important role in making appropriate strategy in clinical treatment.( Chin J Lab Med,2012,35:826-831 )
