Objective: To explore the impact of personalized early treatment appliances (ETA) on the relationship between dental and maxillofacial structures in patients with ClassⅡ malocclusion during the replacement phase, and to provide a basis for clinical treatment. Methods: This study was reviewed and approved by the Medical Ethics Committee, and informed consent was obtained from patients. From May 2023 to December 2023, 15 patients with Angle ClassⅡ malocclusion accompanied by mandibular retraction and anterior deep overjet during mixed dentition were enrolled in this study (8 males and 7 females; mean age 8.8 years). Each patient received a customized domestically manufactured ETA that was created based on dental arch dimensions, overjet severity, and occlusal relationships assessed from study models. Patients were instructed to wear the appliance for at least 2 hours during the day and throughout the night. The treatment duration was 6 months, at which time the changes in cephalometric data before treatment (T0) and after treatment (T1) were compared using Uceph software Results: The angle between sella, nasion and supramentale point B (SNB) of the patients increased significantly by (1.03 ± 1.74°) compared to before treatment (P = 0.039). The angle between subspinale point A and supramentale point B (ANB), the distance between point A and point B on the FH plane (wits value), the overjet, and the overbite decreased by (0.47 ± 0.61°), (2.48 ± 2.11) mm, (2.48 ± 3.42) mm, and (0.79 ± 1.40) mm, respectively, compared to before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The angle between sella, nasion and subspinale point A (SNA), the angle between the FH and MP planes (FMA), the angle between the long axis of the L1 and MP plane (IMPA), the angle between the MP plane and SN plane (MP-SN), the distance from S to Go divided by the distance from N to Me (S-Go/N-Me), and the distance of the FH plane perpendicular from G point to the Pog point (G Vert Pog) increased compared to before treatment, while the angle between the SGn and FH planes (Y-axis) and the angle between the long axis of the L1 and FH plane (FMIA) decreased compared to before treatment, but there was no statistical difference (P>0.05). Conclusion Personalized, customized ETA orthodontic appliances can effectively improve the sagittal and vertical relationships between the maxilla and mandible in patients with ClassⅡ malocclusion.

Purpose To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics of the gastric oxyntic gland adenoma(GOGA).Methods We collected 18 samples of GOGA,histopathological features and immunohistochemical staining were assessed.Main features of pathological diagnosis,treatment methods and follow-up were retrospectively analyzed.Results There were 18 patients,including 9 females and 9 males,aged from 36 to 86 years old.The endoscopic im-age showed a flat lesion with whitish in color or a polypoid protrusions.The size ranged from 0.3 cm to 0.8 cm.Hema-toxylin and eosin staining showed irregular glandular structures in the mucosal lamina propria,with branched and anas-tomosed patterns.The tumour demonstrating composed of chief cells hyperplasia with mild nuclear atypia.All lesions were confined to the mucous lamina propria.There was no atrophic within the peripheral gastic mucosa.Immunohisto-chemical examination showed positive for Pepsinogen-Ⅰ and MUC6.Gene mutation were analyzed in 2 cases using next generation sequence technology,and no KRAS and GNAS mutation had been detected.Endoscopic surgical treatment was performed in 11 cases,and biopsy forceps removal was carried out in 7 cases.No recurrence or metastasis was ob-served during the follow-up period of 1 to 58 months.Conclusion GOGA is a rare lesion,and appears to behave bio-logically benign.A full understanding of its histological morphology and biological behavior can improve the diagnostic ability of clinincans,and facilitate further research in the future.

Objective To investigate the occurrence risk for common complications of internal jugular vein(IJV)and subclavian vein(SCV)catheterization,and provide reference for the prevention and treatment of common com-plications during clinical intravenous infusion therapy.Methods Data from China National Knowledge Infrastruc-ture(CNKI),Wanfang Database,VIP Database,Embase(via OVID),PubMed,Cochrane Library,CINAHL,Web of Science,and ScienceDirect were retrieved,with the search period from database establishment to August 3,2023.Prospective cohort and experimental studies on common complications in patients with IJV and SCV cathete-rization were collected.Meta-analysis on the extracted data was performed with RevMan 5.3 software.Results A total of 29 studies involving 14 096 patients were included in the analysis,including 6 355 patients with SCV cathe-terization(SCV group)and 7 741 patients with IJV catheterization(IJV group).Meta-analysis results showed that the occurrence risk for hemopneumothorax(OR=0.23,95％CI[0.14-0.37])and catheter tip ectopic(OR=0.16,95％CI[0.03-0.85])in SCV group was higher than that in IJV group,and the occurrence risk for central venous catheter-related deep venous thrombosis in IJV group was higher than that in SCV group(OR=2.35,95％CI[1.31-4.21]),with statistically significant differences(all P＜0.01).There were no statistical differences in the occurrence risk of vascular catheter-related bloodstream infection(CRBSI),catheter blockage,and catheter local he-matoma between the two groups(all P＞0.05),there was difference in the combined result of subgroup analysis re-garding catheter bacterial colonization.Conclusion Compared with IJV,patients in SCV group have a higher risk of developing hemopneumothorax and catheter tip ectopic,while patients with catheterization in IJV group have a high-er risk of deep veinous thrombosis.There are no significant differences in the occurrence risk for CRBSI,catheter blockage,and catheter local hematoma between two groups of patients.It is suggested that patient's own conditions and the accessibility of deep vein catheterization should be considered more when selecting the site of deep venous catheterization.

ObjectiveTo study the changing law of appearance color and physicochemical properties of Angelicae Sinensis Radix Carbonisata（ASRC） during the processing by color space method combined with statistical analysis， so as to provide reference for determining the processing endpoint and evaluating the quality of the decoction pieces. MethodsTaking processing time（4， 8， 12， 16 min） and temperature（180， 200， 220， 240 ℃） as factors， ASRC decoction pieces with different processing degrees were prepared in a completely randomized design. Then， the brightness value（L^*）， red-green value（a^*）， yellow-blue value（b^*）， and total chromaticity value （E^*ab） of the decoction pieces were determined by spectrophotometer， the color difference value（ΔE） was calculated， and the data of colorimetric values were analyzed by discriminant analysis. At the same time， the pH， charcoal adsorption， and contents of tannins， 5-hydroxymethylfurfural（5-HMF）， tryptophan， chlorogenic acid， ferulic acid， senkyunolide I， senkyunolide H and ligustilide of ASRC with different processing degrees were determined by pH meter， ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometry and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography（UPLC）. Principal component analysis（PCA） was used to analyze the data of physicochemical indexes， after determining the processing technology of ASRC， the canonical discriminant function was established to distinguish the decoction pieces with different processing degrees， and leave-one-out cross validation was conducted. Finally， Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between various physicochemical indexes and chromaticity values. ResultsWith the prolongation of the processing time， L^*， a^*， b^* and E^*ab all showed a decreasing trend， and the established discriminant model based on color parameters was able to distinguish ASRC with different processing degrees. The pH showed an increasing trend with the prolongation of processing time， and the charcoal adsorption， and the contents of tannins， 5-HMF， and tryptophan all showed an increasing and then decreasing trend. Among them， the charcoal adsorption， contents of tannin and 5-HMF reached their maximum values successively after processing for 8-12 min. While the contents of chlorogenic acid， ferulic acid， senkyunolide I， senkyunolide H and ligustilide decreased with the increase of processing time， with a decrease of 60%-80% at 8 min of processing. Therefore， the optimal processing time should be determined to be 8-12 min. PCA could clearly distinguish ASRC with different processing degrees， while temperature had no significant effect on the processing degree. The 12 batches of process validation results（10 min， 180-240 ℃） showed that except for 3 batches identified as class Ⅱ light charcoal， all other batches were identified as class Ⅲ standard charcoal， and the chromaticity values of each batch of ASRC were within the reference range of class Ⅱ-Ⅲ sample chromaticity values. The correlation analysis showed that the chromaticity values were negatively correlated with pH and charcoal adsorption， and positively correlated with contents of tryptophan， chlorogenic acid， ferulic acid， senkyunolide I， senkyunolide H， and ligustilide. And both pH and charcoal adsorption were negatively correlated with the contents of the above components， but the charcoal adsorption was positively correlated with the content of 5-HMF. ConclusionThe chromaticity values and the contents of various physicochemical indicators of ASRC undergo significant changes with the prolongation of processing time， and there is a general correlation between chromaticity values and various physicochemical indicators. Based on the changes in color and physicochemical indicators， the optimal processing time for ASRC is determined to be 8-12 min. This study reveals the dynamic changes of the relevant indexes in the processing of ASRC， which can provide a reference for the discrimination of the processing degree and the quantitative study of the processing endpoint.

Ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA)is a naturally occurring,low-toxicity,and hydrophilic bile acid(BA)in the human body that is converted by intestinal flora using primary BA.Solute carrier family 7 member 11(SLC7A11)functions to uptake extracellular cystine in exchange for glutamate,and is highly expressed in a variety of human cancers.Retroperitoneal liposarcoma(RLPS)refers to liposarcoma originating from the retroperitoneal area.Lipidomics analysis revealed that UDCA was one of the most significantly down-regulated metabolites in sera of RIPS patients compared with healthy subjects.The augmentation of UDCA concentration(≥25 μg/mL)demonstrated a suppressive effect on the proliferation of liposarcoma cells.[15N2]-cystine and[13Cs]-glutamine isotope tracing revealed that UDCA impairs cystine uptake and glutathione(GSH)synthesis.Mechanistically,UDCA binds to the cystine transporter SLC7A11 to inhibit cystine uptake and impair GSH de novo synthesis,leading to reactive oxygen species(ROS)accumulation and mitochondrial oxidative damage.Furthermore,UDCA can promote the anti-cancer effects of ferroptosis inducers(Erastin,RSL3),the murine double minute 2(MDM2)inhibitors(Nutlin 3a,RG7112),cyclin dependent kinase 4(CDK4)inhibitor(Abemaciclib),and glutaminase inhibitor(CB839).Together,UDCA functions as a cystine exchange factor that binds to SLC7A11 for antitumor activity,and SLC7A11 is not only a new transporter for BA but also a clinically applicable target for UDCA.More importantly,in combination with other antitumor chemotherapy or physiotherapy treatments,UDCA may provide effective and promising treatment strategies for RLPS or other types of tumors in a ROS-dependent manner.

Objective: To review the current development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the field of transfusion medicine. Methods: A systematic search was conducted in the Clarivate Web of Science Database from inception to December 2024 for literature related to AI and transfusion. A total of 4 775 publications were identified. Based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, 133 original studies were ultimately included and analyzed using a narrative synthesis approach. Results: Research on AI in transfusion has surged since 2020 (accounting for 77% of all publications), with China ranking second globally in publication volume. Among the included studies, 69.2% focused on predicting individual transfusion needs, followed by inventory management (8.3%), diagnosis and prediction of adverse transfusion reactions (6.0%), factors influencing transfusion outcomes (5.3%), blood group identification (5.3%), blood quality testing (4.5%), and precise blood volume measurement (1.5%). Additionally, 4.5% of the studies were published in journals with an impact factor greater than 10; 19.5% developed software or applications; 31.5% were multi-center studies; 48.1% utilized decision tree methods, while 31.5% employed neural network approaches; and 14.2% conducted external validation of the algorithms. Conclusion: AI demonstrates significant potential in transfusion risk prediction, decision support, and blood management. However, challenges remain, including limited model generalizability, insufficient algorithm interpretability, and barriers to clinical translation. The deep integration of AI with transfusion medicine will accelerate the advent of precision transfusion era, maximizing blood resource utilization, reducing waste, and ensuring transfusion safety.

The pregnant woman was 34 years old，G9P0，at 32 weeks of gestation，the routine prenatal examination of the fetus in the Second Xiangya Hospital，Central South University indicated that “The hyperechoic mass in the right lobe of the liver，Hepatic hemangioma？Hepatoblastoma？”. Since then，multiple fetal and postnatal color ultrasound scans indicated progressive enlargement of the mass. The fluctuation of serum alphafetoprotein（AFP）was increased after birth，the possibility of a malignant tumor could not be ruled out by imaging and laboratory examinations. The child underwent hepatectomy 70 days after birth. The final diagnosis was hepatic hemangioma，and a one-year follow-up showed that she had a good prognosis. Fetal liver hemangioma is the most common benign liver tumor，prenatal ultrasound diagnosis is not difficult. However，atypical fetal hepatic hemangioma has complex ultrasound manifestations，and prenatal diagnosis is hard to determine its nature. In this article，the ultrasonographic features of typical and atypical fetal hepatic hemangioma were compared to provide the basis for early diagnosis of atypical fetal hepatic hemangioma.
