Early correction of childhood malocclusion is timely managing morphological, structural, and functional abnormalities at different dentomaxillofacial developmental stages. The selection of appropriate imaging examination and comprehensive radiological diagnosis and analysis play an important role in early correction of childhood malocclusion. This expert consensus is a collaborative effort by multidisciplinary experts in dentistry across the nation based on the current clinical evidence, aiming to provide general guidance on appropriate imaging examination selection, comprehensive and accurate imaging assessment for early orthodontic treatment patients.

Objective To explore the effect of the POC CLOUD intelligent management platform on the training of resi-dent doctors with the principles and operation of various point-of-care testing(POCT)instruments to develop quality control man-agement skills and ensure result accuracy.Methods In alignment with Standardized Training Content and Standards for Resi-dent Trainees(2022 Edition and the development of POCT teaching in departments,the POC CLOUD platform was employed to provide information-based and standardized training for resident trainees.Results The POC CLOUD platform standardized resi-dent trainees'qualifications for operating POCT instruments and facilitated a quick understanding of the instruments'status in ro-tating departments.This approach enhanced resident trainees'learning and quality control management skills,enabling them to analyze and review test results effectively.Conclusion POCT teaching method based on the POC CLOUD platform systematical-ly develops resident trainees'operational and quality control abilities,ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results and im-proving the overall quality of resident trainees.

Objective:To evaluate the meaning of arthrography with cone-beam CT（CBCT） imaging in the diagnosis of temporomandibular disorders(TMD).Methods:Four hundred and forty-eight cases of temporomandibular upper joint cavity arthrography with CBCT imaging were retrospectively analyzed. The distribution of disc displacement with reduction or without reduction, disc perforation, enlargement or tearing of joint capsule were analyzed. The characteristics of arthrography with CBCT imaging were also described.Results:There were 384 female and 64 male among the 448 cases of TMD with CBCT arthrographic images. The median age was 31.5 years， range from 14 to 81 years old. As about the age distribution, there were 63 cases in the group of ≤20 years old, 150 cases in the group of >20 and ≤30 years old, 86 cases in the group of >30 and ≤40 years old, 59 cases in the group of >40 and ≤50 years old, 58 cases in the group of>50 and ≤60 years old, and 32 cases in the group of >60 years old. There were 356 cases with disc displacement, in which there were 328 cases of disc displacement without reduction, and 28 cases of disc displacement with reduction. There were 152 cases with disc perforation, and 12 cases with articular capsule tearing or laxation.Conclusions:Arthrography with CBCT imaging was a meaningful approach to diagnose the TMD with structure disorders.

Objective To study the expressions of osteopontin (OPN),caspase-3 and mt-P53 proteins, and their relationship in gliomas. Methods Seventy gliomas specimens of patients (glioma group) were selected, and 10 samples of non-glioma brain tissue were used as control group. The SP method was used to detect the positive rates of protein expressions of OPN, caspase-3 and mt-P53 between two groups. The relationship between protein expressions of OPN, caspase-3 and mt-P53 in gliomas and grade of gliomas were detected by Western blot assay. Spearman rank correlation was compared between the positive expression of OPN, caspase-3 and rate mt-P53. Results The positive expression rates of OPN and mt-P53 were significantly higher in glioma group (64.29%and 60%) than those of control group (no positive expression), but the positive expression rate of caspase-3 was significantly lower than that of control group (47.14%vs. 90%, P<0.05). There were no significant differences in OPN, caspase-3 and mt-P53 expressions between different gender, age, tumor size and tumor position (P>0.05). The higher the WHO classification, the higher the positive expression rates of OPN and mt-P53 (P<0.001), and the lower the positive expression rate of caspase-3 (P<0.001). With the increased level of glioma grade, OPN and mt-P53 protein levels were increased, but caspase-3 protein expression level was decreased. There was a negatively correlation between OPN and the positive expression of caspase-3, but there was a positive correlation between OPN and the expression of mt-P53 (rs=-0.720 and 0.722, P<0.05). There was a negative correlation between caspase-3 and mt-P53 expressions (rs=-0.556, P<0.05). Conclusion The higher the WHO classification, the higher the positive expression rates of OPN and mt-P53, while the lower the positive expression rate of caspase-3. The study reveals that OPN, caspase-3 and mt-P53 expressions are associated with the occurrence and the progress of gliomas. The combined detection of them can contribute to the judgment of biological behavior of gliomas.

Aim To study the protective effects of limb remote ischemic postconditioning ( LRIP ) on is-chemic stroke rats under hyperglycemia and explore the mechanisms. Methods Rats were given 50% glucose (6 mL·kg-1 ) by intraperitoneal injection to get acute hyperglycemia model. Then middle cerebral artery oc-clusion ( MCAO) models were created. After blocking middle artery for 1. 5 h and reperfusion for 2 h, behav-ioral testing, infarct size of brain, NO concentration and SOD activity in the serum of those rats were detec- ted. Results LRIP could improve behavioral score, decrease the area of cerebral infarction, increase the concentration of NO and the SOD activity in serum of MCAO rats. Conclusion LRIP can relieve cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury of MCAO rats under acute hyperglycemia.
