Objective:To investigate the application value of fluorescence imaging in single-port thoracoscopic anatomic segmentectomy. Methods:The clinical data of 280 patients (145 patients with fluorescence method and 135 patients with modified inflation-deflation method) who underwent thoracoscopic anatomic segmentectomy were retrospectively studied in the Anhui Chest Hospital from June 2020 to June 2021. There were 113 patients in the simple segmentectomy group and 167 patients in the complex segmentectomy group. The baseline data of the fluorescence method and the modified inflation-deflation method in the complex segmentectomy group were corrected by propensity score matching, and the perioperative results were compared between the groups. Results:There were no significant differences in segmental resection time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage, postoperative pain, postoperative extubation time, length of hospital stay, incidence of complications and cost of hand-holding between the fluorescence method and the modified method of the simple segmentectomy group. In the complex segmentectomy group, the time of segmental resection with the fluorescence method was significantly shorter than that with the modified inflation-deflation method( P<0.05), and other indexes had no significant difference. Conclusion:Fluorescence method single-port thoracoscopic anatomic segmentectomy has the same perioperative safety and short-term efficacy as modified inflation-deflation method, which can significantly shorten the operative time and improve the operative efficiency in complex anatomic segmentectomy.

A commercial albumin-bound paclitaxel nano-formulation has been considered a gold standard against breast cancer. However, its application still restricted unfavorable pharmacokinetics and the immunogenicity of exogenous albumin carrier. Herein, we report an albumin-bound tumor redox-responsive paclitaxel prodrugs nano-delivery strategy. Using diverse linkages (thioether bond and disulfide bond), paclitaxel (PTX) was conjugated with an albumin-binding maleimide (MAL) functional group. These pure PTX prodrugs could self-assemble to form uniform and spherical nanoparticles (NPs) in aqueous solution without any excipients. By immediately binding to blood circulating albumin after intravenous administration, NPs are rapidly disintegrated into small prodrug/albumin nanoaggregates

Objective:To report 7 cases of vitiligo caused by eyebrow tattooing. Methods:Seven cases of vitiligo caused by eyebrow tattooing were collected from Department of Dermatology, Henan Provincial People′s Hospital from December 2017 to May 2019, and their clinical features were retrospectively analyzed. Results:One month to 1 year after eyebrow tattooing, several eyebrows became white in the 7 patients. In the early stage, only several eyebrows became white, and the surrounding skin was normal, but white patches with unclear boundaries gradually appeared around the eyebrows in the later stage. Reflectance confocal scanning microscopy of skin lesions on the eyebrow showed depigmentation in the basal layer and around hair follicles, and highly refractive amorphous substances (colorants) in the superficial and middle dermis. The 7 patients all showed negative patch test reactions to eyebrow colorants but positive reactions to sodium dodecyl sulfate. Conclusion:No depigmentation was observed on the eyebrow skin in the early stage of vitiligo caused by eyebrow tattooing, and reflectance confocal scanning microscopy of eyebrow lesions may be beneficial in reducing its misdiagnosis.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of adalimumab in the treatment of severe plaque psoriasis. Methods:From June 2018 to April 2019, 20 patients with severe plaque psoriasis were collected from Department of Dermatology, Henan Provincial People′s Hospital. After initial subcutaneous injection of adalimumab at a dose of 80 mg, these patients were subcutaneously injected with adalimumab at a dose of 40 mg at weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. At weeks 4, 8 and 12, psoriasis area and severity index (PASI) was recorded, and changes in skin lesions were observed by reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) . Adverse reactions were monitored during treatment. Results:At week 4, 12 patients achieved a 50% reduction in PASI (PASI50) ; at week 8, 14 achieved PASI75; at week 12, 20 patients achieved PASI75, of which 5 achieved PASI90 and 2 achieved PASI100. As RCM showed, the melanin content in the basal layer of skin lesions was lower compared with that of perilesional normal skin before treatment, gradually increased within 4 weeks, and nearly returned to normal at week 12. No infections, tumors or other related adverse reactions occurred in the 20 patients. Conclusion:Subcutaneous injection of adalimumab every other week is markedly effective in the treatment of severe psoriasis, with few related adverse reactions.

Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics of cryptococcus neoformans patients who suspected as lung cancer and treated with surgery, and to improve the diagnosis of the disease. Methods:A retrospective analysis on clinical data(including preoperative laboratory examination, chest CT imaging and postoperative pathology) of 21 cryptococcosis neoformans patients misdiagnosed as lung cancer in our hospital from February 2016 to July 2019.Results:Among the 21 patients, 17 cases were single nodules and 4 cases were multiple nodules, among which 15 cases were highly suspected malignancy. The postoperative pathological diagnosis was cryptococcal pulmonary granulomatosis. 14 patients were treated with antifungal therapy after surgery. No recurrence was found after postoperative follow-up.Conclusion:The clinical manifestations and imaging examination of pulmonary cryptococcus neoformans patients have no obvious specificity, and it is easy to be misdiagnosed as early lung cancer. The diagnosis can only be confirmed by the combination of various means such as regular follow-up, laboratory examination, percutaneous lung puncture or surgical biopsy.
