Objective To investigate the risk factors associated with mortality in patients undergoing surgical treatment for myocardial infarction complicated by ventricular septal rupture, and to establish a prediction model. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data of patients who underwent surgical treatment of myocardial infarction with ventricular septal rupture at Beijing Anzhen Hospital from 2008 to 2022. Patients were followed up and divided into a survival group and a death group based on perioperative and follow-up outcomes. Univariate analysis was performed for all variables, followed by least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression to screen risk factors affecting postoperative mortality. A Cox regression model was constructed and a Nomogram was developed. Results A total of 83 surgical patients were included, comprising 49 males and 34 females, with a mean age of (64.4±7.7) years. There were 13 perioperative deaths, and among the 70 surviving patients, 6 additional deaths occurred during follow-up. Consequently, 64 patients were assigned to the survival group and 19 to the death group. Univariate analysis revealed statistically significant differences between groups in age, culprit vessel patency status, intra-aortic balloon pump use, Killip classification, time from myocardial infarction to surgery, and time from perforation to surgery (all P<0.05). LASSO regression identified three independent predictors: age [HR=1.092, 95%CI (1.005, 1.187), P=0.039], Killip classification [HR=2.024, 95%CI (1.009, 4.059), P=0.047], and culprit vessel patency [HR=0.110, 95%CI (0.014, 0.869), P=0.036]. The Nomogram based on these variables demonstrated good discriminative ability, with area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.907 at 1 month and 0.876 at 1 year postoperatively. Follow-up revealed cumulative survival rates of 78.2%, 78.2%, 74.6%, and 74.6% at 2, 5, 8, and 10 years postoperatively for all patients, and 92.7%, 92.7%, 88.5%, and 88.5% for perioperative survivors. Conclusion Patients with myocardial infarction complicated by ventricular septal rupture demonstrate favorable mid-to-long-term prognosis after surgical repair. Age, Killip classification, and culprit vessel patency are independent predictors of postoperative mortality, and the established prediction model shows satisfactory prognostic performance.

In this study, 577 (58.2%) were male and 415 (41.8%) were female,with an age of (65±9) years (range: 26 to 86 years). Follow-up continued until June 2024. Survival rates were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method,and prognostic factors were identified using univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards models.Results:Among 992 patients,open surgery was the predominant approach (89.1%, 884/992), and radical antegrade modular pancreatosplenectomy (RAMPS) was performed in 317 patients (32.0%). Combined organ resection,venous resection,and arterial resection were performed in 23.5%, 9.3%,and 11.2% of patients,respectively. The rates of R0, R1-1 mm, and R1-direct resections were 49.8% (494/992),41.5% (412/992), and 8.7% (86/992),respectively. Stage ⅡB was the most common TNM stage (32.2%,319/992). A total of 801 patients (80.8%) received adjuvant chemotherapy. The median follow-up period was 32.0(8.8) months(range:3.2 to 105.3 months),during which 508 patients (51.2%) died. The overall median survival (OS) was 26.4 months,with 1-,3-, and 5-year survival rates of 79.0%,40.0%, and 29.0%, respectively. In the recent five years (from 2020 to 2024), the median OS improved significantly to 34.1 months compared to 20.0 months from 2016 to 2019 ( P<0.01). Histological subtype analysis showed that the median OS time was 26.7 months for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC, n=855),58.9 months for invasive intraductal papillary mucinous carcinoma (IPMC, n=32),and 15.7 months for adenosquamous carcinoma of pancreas (ASCP, n=73) ( P=0.001). Among PDAC patients, adjuvant chemotherapy significantly improved survival (29.1 months vs. 14.4 months, P<0.01);in IPMC patients, adjuvant chemotherapy also extended survival (65.7 months vs. 58.9 months, P=0.047). Although ASCP patients receiving chemotherapy had a longer median OS time than those without (18.8 months vs. 8.9 months),the difference was not statistically significant ( P=0.151). Multivariate Cox regression analysis in PDAC patients indicated that adjuvant chemotherapy, R0 resection, T stage,N stage,and tumor differentiation were independent prognostic factors ( P<0.01). The median OS time by TNM stage was:not reached for stage ⅠA, 51.6 months for ⅠB, 25.5 months for ⅡA, 23.7 months for ⅡB, 23.0 months for Ⅲ, and 14.4 months for Ⅳ. The median OS time for R0,R1-1 mm,and R1-direct resections was 34.1,24.7,and 15.7 months,respectively ( P<0.01). Conclusion:Adjuvant chemotherapy,R0 resection,tumor stage,and differentiation are independent prognostic factors for pancreatic body and tail cancer.

Huanglian Jiedutang （HLJDT）， as a classical formula for clearing heat and removing toxins， has been widely applied in the treatment of various clinical diseases in recent years， particularly during the fire-heat stage of stroke， where it has attracted considerable attention. Based on previous studies， this paper systematically elaborates on the research progress on the active components of HLJDT， its clinical application in ischemic stroke， and advances in studies on its mechanisms of action. Modern pharmacological studies have demonstrated that HLJDT contains multiple active components， including baicalin， geniposide， and berberine. In the treatment of ischemic stroke， these components exert therapeutic effects through multi-target， multi-pathway， and multi-level mechanisms. Clinical studies have shown that HLJDT can increase cerebral blood flow， reduce cerebral infarct volume， and improve post-stroke physical dysfunction in patients with ischemic stroke. Experimental studies have indicated that HLJDT can improve neurological function scores and increase cerebral perfusion in experimental stroke models. In addition， the mechanisms underlying the anti-ischemic stroke effects of HLJDT may be related to anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities， promotion of angiogenesis， and regulation of amino acid and energy metabolism. Although existing studies have confirmed that HLJDT exhibits multi-target and multi-pathway synergistic therapeutic characteristics， further large-sample randomized controlled trials are still needed to verify its long-term efficacy and to further elucidate the dynamic interaction network among components， targets， and pathways. Combined with network pharmacology and molecular docking analyses， this study further clarifies the synergistic targets of the core components （berberine， baicalin， and geniposide）， providing a theoretical basis for in-depth research and clinical translation of HLJDT in the treatment of ischemic stroke.

Objective To gain insights into the biological characteristics of different populations of Culex tritaeniorhynchus within and around the Yellow Sea wetland from the perspective of the occurrence of resistance, we investigated the levels of resistance to deltamethrin and kdr gene mutation in the wetland and its peripheral areas. Methods Specimens were collected from Cx. tritaeniorhynchus populations at two monitoring sites in the Rare Bird National Nature Reserve and Tiaozi Ni Wetland Scenic Area, and also from two populations in Yancheng City and the Liuhe District of Nanjing, and the resistance of these mosquitoes to deltamethrin was determined using the CDC biotest bottle method. For each concentration of deltamethrin assessed, a random subset of exposed specimens was selected for amplification of the kdr gene fragment, followed by Sanger sequencing to identify and analyze resistance-associated mutations. Results The LC50 levels of deltamethrin among mosquitoes from the four populations in Luhe, Yancheng, the Rare Bird National Nature Reserve and the Tiaozi Ni Wetland Scenic Area were 2.048 5, 7.798 2, 3.473 3, and 17.695 5 mg/mL, respectively, with corresponding concentrations of deltamethrin ranging from 0.005 to 5.000,0.050 to 50.000,0.050 to 25.000 and 0.050 to 50.000 mg/mL, respectively. Furthermore, the ranges of the KT50 values were 11.76-107.43, 67.05-216.30,29.77-107.43 and 28.40-329.51 min; the 1-h knockdown rates were 34.58%-99.15%, 9.52%-43.80%, 55.09%-73.01%, and 10.09%-68.07%; and the 24-h mortality rates were 12.15%-67.52%,9.52%-79.56%,13.17%-82.21%, and 11.01%-78.99%, respectively. With respect to kdr gene mutation, we assayed a total of 63,70,59, and 57 mosquitoes for the four populations, for which we detected L1014F mutation frequencies of 14.29%, 35.00%, 20.34%, and 31.58%, respectively, with a majority of these mutations being heterozygous for resistance. In addition, five adult mosquitoes were identified has having synonymous mutations at site 1011[i. e. , AAT(asparagine)mutation to AAC(asparagine)]. Conclusions Our findings revealed the clear resistance of Cx. tritaeniorhynchus to deltamethrin in the Yancheng region of the Yellow Sea wetland, and the resistance phenotype and kdr frequency of Cx. tritaeniorhynchus in the wetland environment were comparable to those of Cx. tritaeniorhynchus in the wetland environment, thereby indicating that the resistance of different populations of Cx. tritaeniorhynchus was homogeneous under the pressure of different insecticide selection within and around the wetland. However, the underlying mechanisms need to be further studied.

Objective This study reports on the obligatory parasitism of water mites Arrenurus sp. on Anopheles messeae at the Manzhouli Port, Inner Mongolia, China. Methods Duing July 2024, a survey on the mosquito diversity was conducted at the Manzhouli Port. Captured mosquitoes and their ectoparasites were identified to species level. Results A total of 1840 adult mosquitoes were collected, representing species from three genera: Culex(Cx. modestus, Cx. pipiens pallens), Aedes(Ae. dorsalis, Ae. flavidorsalis, Ae. flavescens), and Anopheles (An. messeae). Among all the mosqutioes specimens,3 out of 150 captured An. messeae were found to carry ectoparasitic mites, with number of 2,4,27 mites separately. Morphological and molecular identification reached the same result as water mites(Hydrachnidiae, Hydracrina). COI gene sequence showed 94% similarity with the closest species Arrenurus truncatellus. Conlusions Literature review suggests water mites are host-specific parasitism of mosquito species and herein with the first record of Arrenurus sp. parasiting on An. Messeae in the most high-latitude region globally.

Purpose To investigate the diagnostic value of immunohistochemical(IHC)and molecular markers in diffuse pleural mesothelioma(DPM).Methods A total of 114 cases of DPM were retrospectively analyzed for clinical and imaging manifestations,histologic subtype and tumor grade.The positivity rates of Calretinin,WT-1,CK5/6,MC,D2-40,UPK3B,and GATA3 were assessed by IHC,and the loss rates of BAP-1 and MTAP were determined.The concordance between MTAP IHC and p16 gene fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)status was calculated,a-long with the sensitivity and specificity of MTAP IHC relative to p16 FISH.Results Among the 114 DPM patients,66(57.9％)were male and 48(42.1％)were female,with a mean age of 58.1 years(range 16-85 years).Imaging predominantly demonstrated pleural effusion and multiple pleural nodules(55.3％,63/114).Histologically,epitheli-oid,sarcomatoid and biphasic subtypes accounted for 88(77.2％),17(14.9％)and 9(7.9％)cases,respectively.Within the epithelioid group,low and high-grade tumors numbered 69(78.4％)and 19(21.6％),respectively.In epithelioid DPM,the highest IHC positivity rates were observed for Calretinin(92.4％,81/88),D2-40(90.0％,79/88)and WT-1(90.0％,79/88).In sarcomatoid DPM,D2-40(76.5％,13/17),WT-1(64.7％,11/17),and Cal-retinin(29.4％,5/17)showed the greatest positivity.UPK3B was positive in epithelioid(59.1％,39/66)and bi-phasic cases(66.7％,4/6),but was absent in sarcomatoid tumors(0/12).Among all DPM cases,loss rates were 47.3％(53/112)for BAP-1 and 19.2％(20/104)for MTAP by IHC,p16 gene deletion by FISH was 31.5％(34/108);Concordance between MTAP IHC and p16 FISH was 81.0％(81/100);MTAP IHC had a specificity of 95.5％(64/67)and sensitivity of 51.5％(17/33)relative to p16 FISH.Additionally,GATA3 was highly expressed in sarco-matoid DPM(76.5％,13/17).UPK3B positivity differed significantly between thoracoscopic DPM(59.2％,32/54)and percutaneous biopsy samples(36.7％,11/30)in epithelioid DPM(P＜0.05).WT-1 positivity was higher in thoracoscopic than percutaneous samples of sarcomatoid DPM(90.0％ vs 28.6％,P=0.009).Conclusion Calreti-nin,D2-40,and WT-1 are highly sensitive mesothelial markers and should serve as first-line IHC stains in DPM diag-nosis.UPK3B is diagnostically valuable in epithelioid DPM,GATA3 may complement the diagnosis of sarcomatoid DPM,and MTAP IHC can be used as a surrogate or adjunct to p16 FISH.

Objective:To investigate the influence of diabetes mellitus (DM) and high-sen-sitivity C-reactive protein (Hs-CRP) on the risk of digestive system malignancy.Methods:The pro-spective cohort study was conducted. The clinical data of 93 928 participants who participated health examination in 9 hospitals at Tangshan, including Kailuan General Hospital Affiliated to North China University of Science and Technology et al, in 2006 were selected. According to the presence or absence of DM and the level of Hs-CRP, all participants were divided into 4 groups, including the DM(-)CRP(-) group defined as absence of DM and Hs-CRP ≤3 mg/L, the DM(-)CRP(+) group defined as absence of DM and Hs-CRP>3 mg/L, the DM(+)CRP(-) group defined as presence of DM and Hs-CRP ≤3 mg/L, and the DM(+)CRP(+) group defined as presence of DM and Hs-CRP >3 mg/L. The data of participants were collected by a fixed team of physicians. The first physical examination in 2006 was taken as the starting point for follow-up. The end event of follow-up was defined as the occurrence of digestive system malignancy or death, and the follow-up was up to December 31, 2021. Observation indicators: (1) comparison of clinical data among the 4 groups of participants; (2) the incidence and cumulative incidence rate of digestive system malignancy in participants; (3) influence of DM and Hs-CRP level on the risk of digestive system malignancy; (4) the combined influence of DM and Hs-CRP level on the risk of digestive system malignancy; (5) sensitivity analysis. Comparison of measurement data with normal distribution among multiple groups was conducted using the one-way analysis of variance. For pairwise comparison, least significant difference test was used for homogeneity of variance, and Dunnett′s T3 test was used for heterogeneity of variance. Comparison of measurement data with skewed distribution among multiple groups was conducted using the Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test, and Dunn-Bonferroni test was used for pairwise comparison. Comparison of count data among multiple groups was conducted using the chi-square test, and Bonferroni test was used among multiple comparisons. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to plot cumulative incidence curve, and Log-rank test was used for cumulative incidence rate analysis. The Cox proportional risk model was used for multivariate analysis. All models were adjusted for relevant confounders. Results:(1) Comparison of clinical data among the 4 groups of participants. Of the 93 928 participants, there were 70 743 cases in the DM(-)CRP(-) group, 14 644 cases in the DM(-)CRP(+) group, 6 425 cases in the DM(+)CRP(-) group, and 2 116 cases in the DM(+)CRP(+) group. There were significant differences in gender, age, fasting blood glucose, Hs-CRP, triglyceride, alanine aminotransferase, body mass index, marrital status, smoking, drinking, high school degree or above, physical exercise, high salt diet, high fat diet, positive hepatitis B virus surface antigen, fatty liver, liver cirrhosis, gallstone, taking hypoglycemic drugs, taking lipid-lowering drugs among the 4 groups of participants ( P<0.05). (2) The incidence and cumulative incidence rate of digestive system malignancy in participants. At the end-up of follow-up, 2 008 cases developed digestive system malignancy in the 93 928 participants, including 717 cases of colorectal cancer, 456 cases of liver cancer, 396 cases of gastric cancer, 195 cases of esophageal cancer, 144 cases of pancreatic cancer, 65 cases of gallbladder cancer or extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, 35 cases of small bowel cancer. The cumulative incidence rates of digestive system malignancy were 2.19%, 2.42%, 2.86%, 3.59% in participants of the DM(-)CRP(-) group, DM(-)CRP(+) group, DM(+)CRP(-) group, DM(+)CRP(+) group, respectively, showing a significant difference among the 4 groups ( χ2=31.72, P<0.05). (3) Influence of DM and Hs-CRP level on the risk of digestive system malignancy. After adjusting for the confounding factors of the participants, results of multivariate analysis showed that DM and Hs-CRP >3 mg/L were independent influencing factors for the incidence of digestive system malignancy ( hazard ratio=1.32, 1.19, 95% confidence interval as 1.13-1.56, 1.06-1.33, P<0.05). Futher analysis showed that there was a significant difference in interaction between DM and Hs-CRP >3 mg/L ( P<0.05). (4) The combined influence of DM and Hs-CRP level on the risk of digestive system malign-ancy. After adjusting for confounding factors, results of multivariate analysis showed that using the DM(-)CRP(-) group as the control group, the risk of incidence of digestive system malignancy increased in the DM(-)CRP(+) group, DM(+)CRP(-) group, and DM(+)CRP(+) group, respectively ( hazard ratio=1.14, 1.23, 1.79, 95% confidence interval as 1.01-1.29, 1.02-1.48, 1.38-2.31, P<0.05). In the site-specific analysis of digestive system malignancy, using the DM(-)CRP(-) group as the control group, the risk of incidence of liver cancer increased in the DM(-)CRP(+) group ( hazard ratio=1.37, 95% confidence interval as 1.07-1.75, P<0.05), the risk of incidence of liver cancer and pancrea-tic cancer increased in the DM(+)CRP(-) group ( hazard ratio=1.60, 1.74, 95% confidence interval as 1.16-2.21, 1.00-3.02, P<0.05), the risk of incidence of small bowel cancer, pancreatic cancer and colorectal cancer increased in the DM(+)CRP(+) group ( hazard ratio=5.05, 2.31, 2.23, 95% confidence interval as 1.57-16.21, 1.00-5.31, 1.54-3.24, P<0.05). (5) Sensitivity analysis. After adjusting for confounding factors of excluding 3 types of participants (103 cases of digestive system malignancy within 1 year of follow-up, 2 370 cases of taking glucose-lowering drugs, and 915 cases of taking lipid-lowering drugs), results of multivariate analysis showed that using the DM(-)CRP(-) group as the control group, the risk of incidence of digestive system malignancy increased in the DM(+)CRP(-) group, and DM(+)CRP(+) group, respectively ( hazard ratioexcluding cases of digestive system malignancy within 1 year of follow-up=1.26, 1.66, 95% confidence interval as 1.04-1.52, 1.26-2.18, P<0.05; hazard ratioexcluding cases taking glucose-lowering drugs=1.23, 1.75, 95% confidence interval as 1.02-1.49, 1.31-2.33, P<0.05; hazard ratioexcluding cases taking lipid-lowering drugs=1.24, 1.80, 95% confidence interval as 1.03-1.49, 1.39-2.34, P<0.05). Conclusions:DM and Hs-CRP >3 mg/L are independent influencing factors for the incidence of digestive system malignancy. There is an interation and synergistic effect between DM and Hs-CRP to promote the incidence of digestive system malignancy.

Objective:To investigate the impact of postoperative complications on adverse outcomes following curative-intent resection for gallbladder cancer (GBC).Methods:The multi-center real-world study was conducted. The clinicopathological data of 629 patients with GBC, who were admitted to 14 medical centers including The First Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University from the national multicenter database of Biliary Surgery Group of Elite Group of Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery, from April 2020 to April 2024 were collected. There were 225 males and 404 females, aged (64±10)years. Patients underwent open curative-intent resection for GBC. Observation indicators: (1)surgery, postoperative complica-tions and adverse outcomes; (2) analysis of risk factors affecting postoperative adverse outcomes in patients and population attributable fraction (PAF). Missing data in predictor variables were addressed using multiple imputation with chained equations, while cases with missing outcome variables were addressed using the "multiple imputation then deletion (MID)" strategy. The severity of multicollinearity among independent variables was assessed using the variance inflation factor (VIF) test. Multivariable possion regression models with log link and robust error variance were construc-ted incorporating restricted cubic splines (3 knots) to address nonlinear relationships in continuous variables, calculating adjusted relative risk ( RR) with corresponding 95% confidence interval ( CI). Adjusted PAF was calculated for each imputed dataset using the AF package of R software, with subsequent pooling performed according to Rubin's rules. Results:(1) Surgery, postoperative complications and adverse outcomes. All 629 patients underwent curative-intent resection for GBC, of which 143 cases had postoperative complications, including 68 cases of intra-abdominal ascites, 39 cases of pulmonary infection, 21 cases of bile leakage, 12 cases of intra-abdominal hemorrhage, 11 cases of liver failure, 10 cases of pan-creatic fistula, 10 cases of wound infection, 10 cases of gastroparesis, 7 cases of cholangitis, 7 cases of sepsis. The same patient could have more than one kind of complication. Of 629 patients, there were 19 cases of postoperative 90-day death and 11 cases of missing data, 42 cases with post-operative 90-day reoperation and 7 cases with missing data, 44 cases with postoperative 90-day readmission and 3 cases with missing data, 155 cases with prolonged postoperative hospital stay and 3 cases with missing data. (2) Analysis of risk factors affecting the postoperative adverse outcomes in patients and PAF. Results of multivariate analysis showed that pulmonary infection and liver failure were independent risk factors for postoperative 90-day mortality ( RR=3.74, 12.15, 95% CI as 1.18-11.83, 1.98-74.48, P<0.05). Pulmonary infection demons-trated the highest PAF as 4.61% (95% CI as 3.94%-5.28%, P<0.05). Intra-abdominal ascites, pulmonary infection, bile leakage, and intra-abdominal hemorrhage were independent risk factors for post-operative 90-day reoperation ( RR=4.80, 3.62, 3.46, 4.99, 95% CI as 2.49-9.26, 1.42-9.21, 1.34-8.92, 1.55-16.06, P<0.05). Intra-abdominal ascites demonstrated the highest PAF as 8.65% (95% CI as 8.22%-9.08%, P<0.05). Intra-abdominal ascites, bile leakage, and liver failure were independent risk factors for postoperative 90-day readmission ( RR=6.20, 3.33, 14.33, 95% CI as 3.21-11.95, 1.33-8.35, 3.72-55.28, P<0.05). Intra-abdominal ascites demonstrated the highest PAF as 9.11% (95% CI as 8.85%-9.37%, P<0.05). Intra-abdominal ascites, pulmonary infection, bile leakage, liver failure, and wound infection were independent risk factors for prolonged postoperative hospital stay ( RR=2.29, 2.21, 2.26, 2.14, 3.35, 95% CI as 1.63-3.23, 1.41-3.46, 1.32-3.86, 1.11-4.13, 1.70-6.60, P<0.05). Intra-abdominal ascites demonstrated the highest PAF as 6.03% (95% CI as 5.71%-6.35%, P<0.05). Conclusion:Pulmonary infection is the most significant risk factor for postoperative 90-day mortality after curative-intent resection for GBC, while intra-abdominal ascites is the most significant risk factor for postoperative 90-day reoperation, postoperative 90-day readmission, and prolonged postoperative hospital stay.

Objective To survey the free influenza vaccination status and willingness among the elderly in Deqing County,Zhejiang Province,and analyze the influencing factors.Methods Based on population data and the electronic medical system of Deqing County,the influenza vaccine coverage from 2018 to 2022 after the implementation of the free influenza vaccination policy was calculated.A proportional stratified random sampling method was used to select elderly individuals aged 60 and above from six streets/towns in Deqing County.A questionnaire survey was conducted to assess influenza vaccination behaviors from 2020 to 2022 and vaccination willingness for the 2023 influenza season.The chi-square test and logistic regression were used to analyze potential factors associated with vaccination behavior and subsequent willingness among the elderly.Results An average of influenza vaccines for the elderly per year were 56.2 thousand,with influenza vaccination coverage rate of 46.16%in average over the five years.Among 729 subjects,the vaccination rate increased from 69.3%in 2020 to 75.3%in 2022,and 81.9%of them were willing to receive influenza vaccines in the next flu season.Logistic regression analysis revealed that individuals with agricultural household registration(OR=3.05,95%CI:1.82-8.99),lower education levels(OR=2.82,95%CI:1.15-6.93),awareness of the free vaccine policy(OR=4.65,95%CI:1.82-11.91),and belief in vaccine efficacy(OR=6.61,95%CI:3.20-13.61)had higher vaccination rates.Factors associated with a more positive vaccination willingness included an annual household income of<150 thousand CNY(OR=1.65,95%CI:1.04-2.60),awareness of the free vaccine policy(OR=3.07,95%CI:1.84-5.12),perceived vaccine efficacy(OR=4.39,95%CI:2.77-6.96),and perceived vaccine safety(OR=1.57,95%CI:1.01-2.43).The main reasons for non-vaccination were concerned about the side effects of the vaccine(37.9%),thoughts that they were in good health and did not need to be vaccinated(30.3%),and influenza vaccines were ineffective(21.2%).The main reasons for vaccination were to protect themselves(89.1%),vaccination was free(65.5%)and to protect their families(60.6%).Conclusion The elderly in Deqing County had a relatively high influenza vaccination rate and follow-up vaccination willingness rate,but there still existed a gap to reach at target rate recommended by WHO.The local government should strengthen health education related to influenza vaccine knowledge,and publicize free vaccination policy to improve the vaccination rate and willingness in next season.
