OBJECTIVE: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) incorporates traditional diagnostic methods and several major treatment modalities including Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese patent medicine, and non-pharmacological methods such as acupuncture and tuina. Even though TCM is used daily by more than 70,000 healthcare facilities and over 700,000 clinical practitioners in China, there is a poor understanding of the extent to which TCM diagnostic methods are used, how different treatment modalities are deployed in general, and what major factors may affect the integration of TCM and Western medicine. This study aimed to fill this void in the literature. METHODS: In the 2021 National Healthcare Improvement Evaluation Survey, we included three questions gauging the perception and practices of TCM amongst physicians working in TCM-related facilities, investigating the frequency of their deployment of TCM diagnostic methods, and predominant TCM treatment methods. Our empirical analysis included descriptive statistics, intergroup chi-square analysis, and binary logistic regression to examine the association between different types of facilities and individual characteristics and TCM utilization patterns. RESULTS: A total of 7618 clinical physicians comprised our study sample. Among them, 84.27% have integrated TCM and Western medicine in their clinical practice, and 80.77% of TCM practitioners used the 4 diagnostic methods as a tool in their clinical practice. Chinese herbal medicine was the most widely utilized modality by Chinese TCM physicians (used by 88.49% of respondents), compared with the Chinese patent medicine and non-pharmacological TCM methods, which were used by 73.14%, and 69.39%, respectively. Herbal tea as an out-of-pocket health-maintenance intervention is also a notable practice, recommended by 29.43% of physicians. Significant variations exist across certain institutions, departments, and individual practitioners. CONCLUSION Given that most of the surveyed physicians integrated TCM with Western medicine in their clinical practices, the practice of "pure TCM" appears to be obsolete in China's tertiary healthcare institutions. Notably, remarkable variation exists in the use of different TCM modalities across institutions and among individuals, which might be related to and thus limited by the practitioners' experience. Future research focusing on the efficacy and safety of TCM interventions for specific diseases, the development of standardized clinical guidelines, and the enhancement of TCM education and training are called for to optimize TCM-Western medicine integration. Hepatolenticular degeneration is a rare disease,and the number of cases of primary liver cancer occurring on the basis of liver cirrhosis caused by hepatolenticular degeneration is very small.This paper reports a case of hepatolenticular degeneration with primary liver cancer,and then reviews and summarizes current cases of this disease both domestically and internationally.

In recent years,significant breakthroughs have been achieved in the immunotherapy for Alzheimer's disease.In line with global advancements,two anti-amyloid-β monoclonal antibodies have been approved and successfully launched in China for clinical use.Lecanemab and Donanemab were officially used in June 2024 and April 2025 in China,respectively.In order to standardize the rational and safe application of anti-amyloid-β monoclonal antibodies for Alzheimer's disease in China,this article integrates recom-mendations from the clinical trials and real-world experience from the author's team and domestic peers to further update the recom-mendations for the clinical use of anti-amyloid-β monoclonal antibody based on the 2024 version.It includes indications for therapy,pre-treatment evaluation and preparation,administration protocols and safety measures during treatment,and post-treatment monitor-ing strategies.

Trichinosis is a global food-borne zoonotic parasitic disease caused by Trichinella spiralis(T.spiralis),which causes serious harm to animal production,and the public health safety of humans and animals.T.spiralis has a complex devel-opment history,and its entire life cycle is completed in the same host.To coexist with the host,it has evolved various immune escape mechanisms for avoiding immune clearance by the host,thus establishing long-term chronic infection.In this study,to aid in understanding the pathogenic mechanism of T.spiralis,the immune escape mechanism of Trichinella is discussed from three aspects:the molecular role of antigens in various stages,the immune regulatory effect on the host,and the formation of cysts to generate immune isolation.

BACKGROUND:The reciprocal force generated by the molar distalization with clear aligners can lead to anchorage loss.The effect of arch shapes and missing second premolars on anchorage has not been reported. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the effect of arch shapes and missing second premolars on anchorage during molar distalization with clear aligners using the finite element method. METHODS:Cone-beam CT data from an adult male were acquired from the database to establish the maxilla-upper dentition-periodontium-rectangular attachment-clear aligner model.The distal movement amount designed on the bilateral second molars was set to 0.25 mm.First,there were two groups in the study:second premolar bilateral presence and absence groups.Then,four subgroups in each group were created:tapered arch,ovoid arch,square Class Ⅱ Division 1 arch,and Class Ⅱ Division 2 arch groups.The Ansys software was used to calculate the displacement of the anchorage tooth and the stress of the periodontal ligament. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Mesial tipping and extrusion of first molars and premolars,labial inclination and intrusion of anterior teeth occurred during the upper second molar distalization with clear aligners.When the bilateral second premolars were missing,the mesial displacement of first molars increased significantly while that of first premolars and anterior teeth decreased in all groups.The square Class Ⅱ Division 1 arch group showed the least anterior labial inclination,while the tapered arch group showed the most.There was no significant difference between the ovoid arch group and the tapered arch group.Moreover,the magnitude of tipping in the square Class Ⅱ Division 2 arch group was slightly higher than that in the Class Ⅱ Division 1 arch group.The stress of the periodontal ligament of the anchorage teeth was concentrated on the cervical and apical regions of the teeth.And the lowest stress level was detected in the square arch group.Compared with the other groups,the stress on the labial cervical area of the periodontal ligaments was also significantly relieved in the square arch group.To conclude,the square arch is more favorable in terms of anterior anchorage control and periodontal ligament stress distribution.Anterior labial inclination efficiency can be increased in cases of Class Ⅱ Division 2 by designing the anterior labial inclination in conjunction with molar distalization.If the second premolar is missing during molar distalization,it is not conducive to opening up the space in the area of the missing tooth.

AIM To establish the HPLC fingerprints for Tanacetum tatsienense(Bureau & Franchet)K.Bremer & Humphries and to determine the contents of chlorogenic acid,quercetin-3-O-glucoside,luteolin-7-O-glucoside,luteolin-7-O-glucuronide,apigenin-7-O-glucuronide,luteolin and apigenin.METHODS The analysis was performed on a 35 ℃ thermostatic Agilent ZORBAX Extend C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm,0.5 μm),with the mobile phase comprising of 0.5％phosphoric acid-acetonitrile flowing at 1.0 mL/min,and the detection wavelength was set at 350 nm.Subsequently,principal component analysis,partial least squares discriminant analysis and cluster analysis were carried out.RESULTS There were twelve common peaks in the fingerprints for fourteen batches of samples with the similarities of 0.761-0.975.Seven constituents showed good linear relationships within their own ranges(R2≥0.999 1),whose average recoveries were 84.00％-105.11％with the RSDs of 1.28％-2.86％.Various batches of samples were clustered into three types,and seven differential constituents were observable,containing peaks 4(luteolin-7-O-glucoside),12(apigenin),9(apigenin-7-O-glucuronide),8,11(luteolin),5(luteolin-7-O-glucuronide)and 2.CONCLUSION This precise,stable,specific and reproducible method can be used for the quality control of T.tatsienense.

AIM To study the chemical constituents from the methanol fraction of Premna fulva Craib leaves and their anti-inflammatory activities.METHODS The methanol fraction from P.fluva were isolated and purified by TLC,column chromatography,and HSCCC,then the structures of obtained compounds were identified by physicochemical properties and spectral data.Their anti-inflammatory activities in vitro were evaluated by RAW264.7 model.RESULTS Twelve compounds were isolated and identified as vitexin(1),balanophonin(2),inotodisaccharide(3),4-allyl-2,6-dimethoxyphenol-β-D-glucopyranoside(4),dehydrovomifoliol(5),loliolide(6),(E)-4-((1S,3R,4R)-1-hydroxy-4,5,5-trimethyl-7-oxabicyclo[4.1.0]heptan-1-yl)but-1-en-3-o-ne(7),(E)-4-hydroxyphenylprop-7-ene 4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(8),4-O-β-D-glucopyranosylbenzoic acid(9),vicenin(10),oleanicacid(11),sesamin(12),respectively.Compounds 1,2,5,7,10,and 12 showed good inhibitory activities against NO,and the IC50 values were(26.42±2.5)、(21.24±2.2)、(25.88±1.9)、(29.72±2.1)、(8.90±1.1)、(9.73±0.7)μmol/L,respectively.CONCLUSION Compounds 2,4-8 are isolated from Premna genus plants for the first time.Compounds 1,2,5,7,10,12 have anti-inflammatory activities.

DRG payment reform is an important means to control the unreasonable growth of medical expenses, improve the quality of medical services and achieve a win-win situation among three sides of hospitals, medical insurance and patients. This study adopted the Smith policy implementation process model to analyze the difficulties in the DRG policy implementation process from four aspects(idealized policies, policy implementation institutions, target groups, and policy environment), including the deviation between policy connotations and actual needs; the interest objectives of all parties were not completely aligned, the target group lacked a sense of identity, and the social impact and technological support needed to be improved. It was suggested that optimization should be carried out from four dimensions: policy supply coordination and precision, performance evaluation and personnel literacy, target group cognitive level and participation willingness, and policy implementation environment and atmosphere, in order to synergistically promote the effective implementation of DRG policies.

Objective:To investigate the molecular mechanism and distribution characteristics of RhD negative phenotypes in Han population of blood donors in Wuhu city.Methods:A total of 210 RhD-samples from August 2021 to August 2022 were screened by serological test and collected from Wuhu Central Blood Station for the voluntary blood donor population.Exons 1 and 10 of the RHD gene were amplificated by PCR to determine whether the samples had the RHD gene.Exons 1-10 of the RHD gene were amplificated by PCR and zygosity analysis were performed in 82 samples containing D gene,and Sanger sequencing was performed on 55 samples containing all RHD exons to determine the genotype.Results:Among 210 RhD-specimens,128 cases(60.38％)had RHD gene deletion.27 cases had partial exons of RHD,including 2 cases with RHD*DVI.3/RHD*01N.01,24 cases with RHD*01N.04/RHD*01N.01,and 1 case with RHD-CE(2-10)/RHD*01N.01.55 cases had retained all of 10 exons,including 4 cases with RHD*01/RHD*01N.01,6 cases with RHD*15/RHD*01N.01,1 case with RHD*01W.72/RHD*01N.01,1 case with RHD*15/RHD*01EL.01,39 cases with RHD*01EL.01/RHD*01N.01,and the remaining 4 cases were determined to have no RHD gene deletion by zygosity analysis and sequencing showed the presence of 1227G＞A mutation loci.Conclusion:There is polymorphism in the molecular mechanism of RhD-D gene in Wuhu blood donor population,among which RHD*01EL.01 and RHD*15 are the main variants in this region.The results of this study provide a theoretical basis for RhD blood group identification and clinical blood transfusion in this region.

In recent years, clear aligner technology has been maturing and is rapidly gaining popularity in the orthodontic market for its aesthetic and removable properties. However, despite the background of its large-scale clinical application, mechanical properties of clear aligners need to be studied in depth. This paper reviews the factors influencing mechanical properties of clear aligners and the current status of research to provide evidence-based guidance for clinical application.
