Through an analysis of the pathogenesis of cholinergic urticaria and the therapeutic principle of "treating fire constraint by dispersing it"， it is proposed that the disease is located between the sweat pore and interstitial space. The key pathogenesis lies in fire constraint in the interstitial space and stagnation of the sweat pore. The manifestation is rash due to fire-heat constrained in the interstitial space， while the root is the obstruction of qi and fluids in the sweat pore， and the transformation involves constraint fire damaging yin and entering the collaterals. Treatment should consistently follow the principle of "diffusing constraint and dissipating fire"， with staged approaches based on disease progression. In the acute stage， treatment emphasizes activating sweat pore and rapidly dispersing constraint fire through modified Shengjiang Powder （升降散）. In the remission stage， therapy should focus on harmonizing ying-wei （营卫） and clearing residual fire using modified Zhuye Shigao Decoction （竹叶石膏汤） combined with Xiaofeng Powder （消风散）. In the chronic stage， treatment should nourish yin， penetrate collaterals and clear latent fire through modified Qinghao Biejia Decoction （青蒿鳖甲汤）.

Phosphorylation is a common post-translational modification of specific protein 1(SP1),which can affect its transcriptional activity and DNA-binding stability by altering the structure of SP1.Phosphorylation of SP1 can promote telomere maintenance,immune escape,and production of vascular endothelial growth factor in cancer cells,promote tumor invasion and metastasis,and increase drug resistance to chemotherapy.

[Objective]To explore the etiology,pathogenesis and treatment methods of ulcerative colitis(UC),in order to provide theoretical basis for expanding the differentiation and treatment of UC.[Methods]Based on a review of the theoretical connotation of"spleen acting as the guard for five Zang-organs and six Fu-organs",and the understanding of the pathogenesis of UC in modern medicine,the correlation between spleen dysfunction and UC was explored from the perspective of"spleen losing of guard".Combined with the changes in the pathogenesis of UC during its progression,the principles of differentiation and treatment in each substage were specifically discussed.[Results]The key pathogenesis of UC is"spleen losing of guard",which runs through all stages of the disease.Therefore,it is proposed to use"assisting spleen to restore the function of guard"as the treatment principle.In the active phase,the method of treatment is to eliminate accumulation and transform stagnation,regulate the spleen and defensive Qi.In the remission phase,the method of treatment is to regulate Qi and relieve depression,and strengthen the spleen and promote defensive Qi.In the recovery phase,the method of treatment is to nourish the muscles,and strengthen the spleen and defensive Qi.[Conclusion]The application of the theory of"spleen acting as the guard for five Zang-organs and six Fu-organs"helps to understand the close relationship between the pathogenesis of UC and the spleen,refine the treatment rules and specific prescriptions of UC related to the spleen in each stage.

Objective To explore the medication rules and mechanism of action of traditional Chinese medicine compound patent formulas for vitiligo,and provide ideas for the development and the patent declaration work of new Chinese medicines for vitiligo.Methods China Patent Publication Bulletin website,National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Patent Information Service Platform of China Intellectual Property Right Net(CNIPR),and Baiten Patent Platform were used to search for the patents of traditional Chinese medicine compound formulas for vitiligo from the establishment of the databases to 30th September,2023.Excel software and Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Computing Platform(TCMICS V3.0)were used to establish a database of compound formulas,and carry out the statistics of frequency,association rules and clustering analysis of the formulas for internal and external prescriptions.The target and mechanism of action of the internal prescriptions of core high-frequency Traditional Chinese Medicine group for the treatment of vitiligo were further explored by Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP),Symptom Mapping(Symmap),The Human Gene Database(Genecards),UniversalProtein(UniProt),STRING,Pharmaceutical DataBase(PDB)and other databases as well as software such as R Studio 4.2.2 and Cytoscape 3.9.1,and AutoDock Vina was used for molecular docking validation.Results The internal formulas included 335 patents and the external formulas included 189 patents.The rules of internal and external use are similar.The high-frequency traditional Chinese medicines are Tribuli Fructus,Psoraleae Fructus,Angelicae sinensis,Radix Polygoni Multiflori,Carthami Flos,Angelica dahurica,etc.;the key efficacies of the medicines are based on tonifying the deficiency,activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis;and the properties of the Chinese medicines are the nature of warmth,coldness and flatness,sweetness,bitterness,pungency and attribution to the liver,the spleen,the heart and the kidneys.Commonly used oral medicine pairs are Chuanxiong rhizome-Angelica,Astragalus-Angelica,etc.,high-frequency pairs of external medicines are Fructus mume-Psoraleae fructus,cuscuta-Psoraleae fructus,etc.;internal and external clustering of the core drugs are Psoraleae fructus,Tribuli Fructus,Angelica,Polygonum multiflorum,Angelica dahurica,Safflower,and other high-frequency medicines.The key targets of internal patents for the treatment of vitiligo are genes such as albumin,protein kinase B1,cystatinase 3,etc.The main active ingredients of the internal grouping for the treatment of vitiligo may be quercetin,kaempferol,luteolin,etc.,and the therapeutic mechanism may be related to the end products of glycosylation/receptor for glycosylation end products,tumour necrosis factor signalling pathway,phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B and other signalling pathways,and involved in the process of blood lipids and atherosclerosis,human cytomegalovirus infection.The molecular docking results confirmed the docking activity of the herbal components with key receptor proteins.Conclusion This study reveals the similarity between the internal and external patented formulas of vitiligo in terms of medication,flavour,and meridian,suggesting that the pathways and indexes such as albumin,interleukin,and tumour necrosis factor of vitiligo patients can be improved by tonifying the liver and kidney,activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis,which also provides a reference for the research and development of new medicines for vitiligo,patent protection,and the use of clinical prescriptions.

[Objective]To summarize the clinical experience of Professor JIANG Deyou in the treatment of gallbladder and stomach disharmony.[Methods]This paper analyzes the identification and treatment ideas of Professor JIANG in the treatment of a series of symptoms of gallbladder and stomach disharmony,expounds understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease,and attaches clinical medical cases to verify the treatment.[Results]Gallbladder and stomach disharmony often produces cholestogastric syndrome,mental disorders,insomnia and series of diseases.Professor JIANG emphasizes discriminating the mechanism of disease in clinical diagnosis.In view of the pathological mechanism of gallbladder and stomach disharmony of the three diseases,Futu Decoction with choleretic drugs were used to treat cholestogastric syndrome,Gaoxing Decoction to treat mental disorders,and first Gaoxing Decoction then Futu Decoction to treat insomnia.In both cases,although the patients had symptoms of gallbladder and stomach disharmony such as gastritis,cholecystitis,and fatty liver,as well as emotional problems such as mental disorders and insomnia,this treatment achieved significant results.[Conclusion]Professor JIANG has unique insights in the etiology and pathogenesis of gallbladder and stomach disharmony,and the treatment method has achieved significant clinical efficacy,which is worth learning and imitating.

PURPOSE: Although the effect of lysosome-associated protein transmembrane 4 beta (LAPTM4B) on the proliferation, migration, and invasion of breast cancer (BC) cells has already been studied, its specific role in BC progression is still elusive. Here, we evaluated the effect of different levels of LAPTM4B expression on the proliferation, invasion, adhesion, and tumor formation abilities of BC cells in vitro, as well as on breast tumor progression in vivo. METHODS: We investigated the influence of LAPTM4B expression on MCF-7 cell proliferation, invasion, adhesion, and tube formation abilities in vitro through its overexpression or knockdown and on breast tumor progression in vivo. RESULTS: Cell growth curves and colony formation assays showed that LAPTM4B promoted the proliferation of breast tumor cells. Cell cycle analysis results revealed that LAPTM4B promoted the entry of cells from the G1 into the S phase. Transwell invasion and cell extracellular matrix adhesion assays showed that LAPTM4B overexpression increased the invasion and adhesion capabilities of MCF-7 cells. More branches were observed in MCF-7 cells overexpressing LAPTM4B under an electron microscope. In comparison with LAPTM4B overexpression, LAPTM4B knockdown decreased the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor-A and significantly inhibited the vasculogenic tube formation ability of tumors. These results were also verified with western blot analysis. CONCLUSION: LAPTM4B promoted the proliferation of MCF-7 cells through the downregulation of p21 (WAF1/CIP1) and caspase-3, and induced cell invasion, adhesion, and angiogenesis through the upregulation of hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha, matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP2), and MMP9 expression. This specific role deems LAPTM4B as a potential therapeutic target for BC treatment.

The information organization mode of Chinese medicine is a key factor of meeting informational or analytical demands on Chinese medicine. This paper summarized the research status on information organization mode of Chinese medicine by using the basic principle of multidimensional data model, designing basic dimensions of Chinese medicine and its concept hierarchies. Finally, with an example of information query, this paper designed the multidimensional data model of Chinese medicine based on the star pattern and a multidimensional query system of Chinese medicine information. Based on the multidimensional data model, the information organization mode of Chinese medicine can provide powerful supports for the multi-angle and multi-level query using of Chinese medicine information.

[Objective] In order to guide the clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment, and provide the basis for further research on the ideological system of Wu Weikang, a famous professor of Longjiang medical school, the article studied Wu Weikang's experiences in the treatment of nephropathy and discussed the three basic prescriptions of him for treatment of kidney diseases. [Methods] The article discussed experiences in the treatment of nephropathy and academic thought on the basic of the three prescriptions of Wu Weikang such as eight-ingredients detoxification decoction ,yinqiao dihuang decoction and jiawei shenqi decoction. [Results] According to the common pathogenesis and kidney disease clinical symptoms, Professor Wu Weikang often chooses eight-ingredients detoxification decoction,yinqiao dihuang decoction and Jiawei Shenqi decoction as the basic prescriptions applied to the treatment of the dampness-heat of bladder syndrome, kidney deficiency and dampness-heat of bladder syndrome, and edema syndrome due to kidney yang deficiency, and the curative effect is remarkable. [Conclusion] Eight-ingredients detoxification decoction ,yinqiao dihuang decoction and Jiawei Shenqi decoction are the three prescriptions commonly used to treat the nephropathy by professor Wu Weikang in clinic. These prescriptions are widely used in clinic and highly effective. Practical experiences of these prescriptions will be elaborated here, so as to extract their essences to guide clinical practice.

Objective] In order to guide the treatment based on syndrome differentiation and to provide theory and thinking method for further research , the article researched the experience in treating phlegm syndrome of Pro.Wu Weikang,a prominent physician of Longjiang medical school,and discussed the four treatments of phlegm syndrome. [ Methods] The article researched experience in treatment of phlegm syndrome mainly from four aspects: ①searching for the primary cause of disease in treatment; ②harmonizing method with warm medicine; ③treat qi before phlegm; ④synchronic treating phlegm and blood stasis. [Results] Pro.Wu Weikang maintained that strange and chronic diseases are accompanied with phlegm. Thus he advocated that searching for the primary cause of disease in treatment,the treatment with mild medicine,the priority over qi treatment and the simultaneous treatment of both phlegm and stasis. These principles are widely used in clinic and highly effective. [Conclusion]The experience in prescription component of the treatment of phlegm syndrome not only has a high scientific content ,but also has significant guidance of clinical practice.
