Chest low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) is a widely utilized modality for lung cancer screening and follow-up in high-risk populations, owing to its low radiation dose. However, the diagnostic accuracy of LDCT is significantly constrained by inherent limitations, including elevated image noise and reduced contrast resolution. The potential for deep learning technologies to address these challenges through data-driven LDCT image denoising approaches has been demonstrated. In this review, the advantages and limitations of deep learning models were introduced, including supervised, unsupervised, and self-supervised learning. The potential and challenges of these models in clinical applications were analyzed, thereby providing a reference for subsequent research and clinical practice.

The tumor microenvironment,particularly the hypoxic property and glutathione(GSH)overexpression,substantially inhibits the efficacy of cancer therapy.In this article,we present the design of a magnetic nanoplatform(MNPT)comprised of a photosensitizer(Ce6)and an iron oxide(Fe3O4)/manganese oxide(MnO2)composite nanozyme.Reactive oxygen species(ROS),such as singlet oxygen(1O2)radicals produced by light irradiation and hydroxyl radicals(·OH)produced by catalysis,are therapeutic species.These therapeutic substances stimulate cell apoptosis by increasing oxidative stress.This apoptosis then triggers the immunological response,which combines photodynamic therapy and T-cell-mediated immunotherapy to treat cancer.Furthermore,MNPT can be utilized as a contrast agent in magnetic resonance and fluorescence dual-modality imaging to give real-time tracking and feedback on treatment.

Objective:To study the emergency cerebral hemorrhage grading scale (EDICH) score and the modified emergency intracerebral hemorrhage grading scale (mEDICH) score on the adverse prognosis of patients with cerebral hemorrhage 90 days after discharge.Methods:The clinical data of 248 patients with cerebral hemorrhage in the Department of Neurosurgery, Lianyungang Hospital Affiliated to Xuzhou Medical University from January 2022 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the modified Rankin scale (mRS) 90 days after discharge, patients were divided into a good prognosis group (212 cases) and a poor prognosis group (36 cases). Independent-samples t-test and rank-sum test were used to compare the basic information, vital signs, laboratory tests, imaging characteristics, EDICH score and mEDICH score of the two groups. Multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors affecting the poor prognosis of patients with cerebral hemorrhage. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to analyze the predictive value of EDICH score and mEDICH score for the poor prognosis of patients with intracerebral hemorrhage 90 days after discharge.Results:The diameter of intracerebral hematoma (5.53±0.32) cm, the rate of intraventricular hemorrhage (61.11%,22/36) and the rate of subtentorial hemorrhage (27.78%, 10/36) in poor prognosis group were significantly higher than those in good prognosis group (3.50±0.07) cm, intraventricular hemorrhage (30.19%, 64/212) and infratentorial hemorrhage (14.15%, 30/212), the differences were statistically significant ( t=6.19, P<0.001; χ 2=12.99, P<0.001; χ 2=4.22, P=0.040). GCS scores in the poor prognosis group were lower than those in the good prognosis group ( H=72.01, P<0.001). EDICH scores and mEDICH scores in the poor prognosis group were higher than those in the good prognosis group (EDICH score: H=65.79, P<0.001; mEDICH score: H=76.56, P<0.001). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed EDICH score ( OR=5.869,95% CI 3.451-9.981, P<0.05) and mEDICH score ( OR=10.353,95% CI 4.842-22.137, P<0.05)could predict the prognosis of patients with cerebral hemorrhage 90 days after discharge. ROC curve analysis showed that the sensitivity and specificity of EDICH score and mEDICH score were 0. 861,0.889 and 0. 821,0.953, respectively, but the predictive effect of mEDICH score was significantly better than that of EDICH score ( Kappa values were 0. 787 and 0. 494, respectively). The predicted results are highly consistent with the actual results. Conclusion:MEDICH score can accurately predict the prognosis of patients with intracerebral hemorrhage 90 days after discharge, which has clinical application value.

Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of tumor budding as an indicator of postoperative distant organ metastasis after radical gastrectomy in elderly patients diagnosed with gastric cancer.Methods:The clinical and pathological data of 124 elderly patients who experienced metastasis after undergoing radical gastrectomy were retrospectively analyzed.The analysis was conducted from March 2015 to June 2022, focusing on the clinicopathological factors that influenced the occurrence of postoperative distant metastasis in these patients.Tumor budding in gastric cancer tissues was assessed using hematoxylin-eosin staining, and its clinical significance was analyzed.Results:The tumor budding grade of gastric cancer tissues showed a significant correlation with vascular invasion( χ2=6.731, P=0.009), the number of lymph node metastases( rs=0.481, P<0.001), and the time of distant metastasis( rs=-0.450, P<0.001).In the univariate analysis, factors such as tumor budding grade, tumor size, vascular invasion, postoperative chemotherapy, cancerous nodule, preoperative serum carbohydrate antigen 125, and the number of lymph node metastases were found to influence distant metastasis-free survival after radical gastrectomy in elderly patients(all P<0.05).The multifactorial analysis also indicated that tumour outgrowth grade was an important independent prognostic factor for postoperative distant metastasis in elderly gastric cancer patients( HR=3.731, P<0.001). Conclusions:The findings of this study indicate that tumor budding may serve as a potential marker for predicting distant organ metastasis in elderly patients who have undergone radical gastrectomy.This discovery holds significant clinical implications.

Objective:To analyze the effect of perineural invasion(PNI)on immune cell infiltration in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)by the CIBERSORT deconvolution algorithm.Methods:The pancreatic cancer patients from the dataset GSE102238 were re-evaluated for the severity of PNI.And then the high and low PNI subgroups were subjected to immune scoring and immune cell infiltration analysis using the ESTIMATE and CIBERSORT algorithms to find immune cell subgroups associated with PNI.Finally,the results were validated by tissue microarrays.Results:Twenty-five cases were selected from 50 pancreatic cancer specimens for PNI reassessment and then divided into two high and low groups.Compared to the low PNI group,specimens from patients in the high group showed significantly less CD8+T-cell infiltration(P<0.05)and significantly more resting memory CD4+T-cells and M0 macrophages(P<0.05).Significantly reduced CD8+T cells(P<0.01)and slightly increased CD4+T cells(P<0.05)were confirmed in the patients with the high PNI using tissue microarrays.Meanwhile,macrophages significantly increased in the high PNI group(P<0.001).Conclusion:High PNI in PDAC inhibits infiltration of CD8+T cells which promote the infiltration of macrophages.

Objective To observe the electromyography characteristics of children's handwriting with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD),and explore its electrophysiological mechanism,so as to provide an objective basis for developing non-pharmacological treatment for such children.Methods Between September 2021 and April 2022,29 ADHD children were recruited from an ordinary public primary school and the psychiatric clinic of a class-3 grade-A hospital in Beijing.Among them,25 were boys and 4 were girls,with an average age of 8.21±1.78 years.Meanwhile,23 male and 5 fe-male healthy counterparts were selected with the age gap no more than 6 months.The Delsys wireless surface EMG system was used to collect the electromyographic signals of the abductor pollicis breve,the first dorsal interosseous muscle,the flexor radial carpi motor and the extensor finger muscles dur-ing their writing tasks such as tracing trajectories,writing Arabic numerals 0-9,26 small and capital English letters,Chinese characters one to ten and"Yong".The percentage of the averaged electromyog-raphy(AEMG)of a muscle in the sum value of all measured muscles,and the coefficient of differ-ence were selected to evaluate the muscle contribution rate and the consistency of exertion,respective-ly.Moreover,the independent sample t-test was employed to compare the two different groups with the significance set at α=0.05.Results There was a significant difference in the muscle contribution of abductor pollicis breve and first dorsal interosseous muscles when writing Arabic numerals and that of abductor pollicis breve muscles when writing Chinese characters between ADHD children(27.29%,25.58%and 27.53%)and their healthy counterparts(42.87%,19.96%and 37.13%)(P<0.05).Most muscle differentiation coefficients of ADHD children were higher than 100%,with that of the domi-nant hand radial wrist flexor muscle reaching 270%in the trajectory tracing task.Conclusion Accord-ing to the characteristics of EMG signals,school-age ADHD children show an immature writing pat-tern,including poor stability of writing-related muscles,insufficient control of small finger muscle groups,poor control of hand coordination,and insufficient muscle inhibition of non-dominant hand.It is recommended to conduct the electromyoelectric assessment of handwriting movements in ADHD chil-dren,so as to carry out targeted intervention at an early stage.

Currently, as the key raw material of artificial biological heart valve, bovine pericardium is mainly depend on import and has become a "bottleneck" challenge, greatly limiting the development of domestic biological heart valve. Therefore, the localization of bovine pericardium is extremely urgent. In this study, the pericardium of Sichuan yak was compared with that of Australian cattle in terms of fundamental properties and anti-calcification performance. The results demonstrated that the appearance and thickness of yak pericardium were more advantageous than the Australian one. Sichuan yak pericardium and Australian cattle pericardium had comparable performance in shrinkage temperature, mechanical test and anti-calcification test. This study preliminarily verifies the feasibility of substitution of Australian cattle pericardium by Sichuan yak pericardium and promotes the progression of bovine pericardium localization with data support.

ObjectiveTo investigate the status of sleep insufficiency in children and adolescents with mental disorders and related influencing factors. MethodsA total of 131 children and adolescents who were admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Fuyang from February to June 2021 and met the diagnostic criteria of International Classification of Diseases， tenth edition （ICD-10） for schizophrenia， depression or childhood-onset mood disorders were selected as the research subjects. A self-compiled questionnaire was used to collect the general demographic information， sleep status， lifestyle habits， family and school status of the selected individuals. The demographic information was compared between sleep sufficiency group and sleep insufficiency group. Spearman rank correlation was used to screen the influencing factors. Results① Among 131 children and adolescents with mental disorders， 93 cases （71.0%） had sleep insufficiency. There were significant differences between sleep insufficiency group and sleep sufficiency group in terms of disease types （χ²=8.798， P=0.012）， experience of being beaten in recent 6 months （χ²=3.427， P=0.035）， being scolded in recent 6 months （χ²=4.145， P=0.031）， and cyberbullying over the past year （χ²=4.187， P=0.041）. ② Among patients with sleep insufficiency， 77 cases （82.8%） reported difficulty in falling asleep and 69 cases （74.2%） reported nocturnal awakenings. ③ Sleep insufficiency in children and adolescents with mental disorders was positively correlated with the experience of being scolded （r=0.210， P=0.037） or beaten （r=0.145， P=0.023） over the past 6 months and cyberbullying over the past year （r=0.179， P=0.041）. ConclusionChildren and adolescents with mental disorders suffer a high risk of sleep insufficiency， and is closely associated with depressive disorder， experience of being scolded or beaten over the past 6 months， and cyberbullying over the past year.

Objective:To Investigate the application strategy and effect of cuffed tracheostomy tube with inner cannula in the treatment of postoperative complications of laryngeal and hypopharyngeal cancer.Methods:A total of 60 patients with laryngeal and hypopharyngeal cancer occurred serious postoperative complications, including 31 cases of severe postoperative neck infection, 8 cases of dyspnea, 5 cases of massive hemorrhage and 16 cases of seriously intractable aspiration. The tracheal cannula with inner cannula and outer cuff was immediately worn on these patients and the cuff was inflated. Different treatments were carried out according to different complications. The outer cuffs were inflated for patients with severe neck infections to prevent a large amount of neck secretions inhaled to the trachea. Patients with dyspnea immediately received ventilator-assisted ventilation. For those with massive hemorrhage on the wound, doctors should prevent bleeding and stop bleeding under general anesthesia. Patients with severely coughing should perform eating training to prevent food aspiration. The inner cannula was regularly replaced once a month for all of these patients.Results:Through targeted treatment, the complications of 60 patients with cuffed tracheostomy tube with inner cannula were effectively controlled. After dressing change, the neck wounds of 31 patients with neck infection were shrunk or healed. Finally, all of the patients were replaced with metal tracheal tubes. Eight cases with dyspnea were rescued with the symptomatic and related special treatment, and finally replace by metal tracheal tube. Five cases with massive bleeding in the neck wound were successfully rescued and replaced with metal tracheal cannula. Thirteen patients among 16 cases with intractable aspiration were removed the tracheal cannula and other 3 cases of old and severely ill were replaced with metal tracheal cannula.Conclusions:The cuffed tracheostomy tube with inner cannula is of great value in the treatment of severe postoperative complications of laryngeal or hypopharyngeal cancer. It is strongly recommended that the operators should fully understand and use it reasonably after the operation of laryngeal or hypopharyngeal cancer.
