OBJECTIVE: To assess the value of non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) for the identification of numerical and structural chromosomal abnormalities and copy number variations (CNVs) in fetuses. METHODS: 46 197 pregnant women undergoing NIPT at the Prenatal Diagnosis Center of Chenzhou First People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2021 were selected as the study subjects. Positive cases were subjected to chromosomal karyotyping and copy number variation sequencing (CNV-seq) following amniocentesis. RESULTS: Nearly 50% of common chromosomal aneuploidies were found in the elder pregnant women. Among these, sex chromosome aneuploidies were mainly found in pregnant women with advanced age as well as borderline risks by serological screening. Rare autosomal aneuploidies and CNVs were mainly found in those with borderline or high risks by serological screening. The positive predictive values (PPV) for fetal chromosomal abnormalities indicated by NIPT were as follows: T21 (92.37%, 109/118), T18 (53.85%, 14/26), sex chromosome aneuploidies (45.04%, 59/131), T13 (34.62%, 9/26), CNVs (29.17%, 14/48), and rare autosomal aneuploidies (2.60%, 2/77). CONCLUSION NIPT has a high detection rate for T21, T18, T13 and sex chromosome aneuploidies. It can also detect rare autosomal aneuploidies and CNVs, including some rare structural abnormalities, though verification is required by analyzing amniotic fluid samples.

This paper summarizes the current situation and necessity of the training of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) nursing specialists in China, as well as the existing achievements and existing problems, and puts forward the prospects and suggestions for the training of TCM nursing team, so as to strengthen the construction of TCM nursing culture, build a high-quality TCM nursing talent team, and promote the high-quality development of TCM nursing.

Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare, multisystemic, low-grade neoplasm character-ized by diffuse cystic lesions in the lung.In recent years, emerging imaging examination such as ⁶⁸Ga-NEB PET-CT scan provides efficient and precise non-invasive diagnostic methods to detect lymphatic circulation abnormalities in LAM patients. The long-term efficacy and safety of sirolimus for LAM has accumulated further evidence, and genetic profiling studies have unveiled more information of genetic mechanisms. Prognosis of LAM has been much improved. We briefly reviewed the research advances of LAM in China and other countires.

Objective To observe clinical nurses′knowledge, attitude, and practice of evidence-based practice (EBP), and to explore its potential influencing factors, so as to provide targeted knowledge training for nurses.Methods The nurses′ information form and evidence-based practice questionnaire ( EBPQ) were used in this survey. Totally 140 nurses from a hospital in Beijing from June to July 2015 participated in this survey. Results The average score of practice, attitude, and knowledge on EBP were (22.94±7.32), (21.69±6.47) and (57.39±15.31). Statistically significant correlations were found among different nurses′ age, length of employment, educational background, job tittle and nurses′ practice, attitude, and knowledge score on EBP ( P<0.05) . Multivariate linear regression showed that the EBP of nurses was mainly decided by their knowledge level, attitude level, amount of literature reading, and endorsement related to EBP.Conclusions The status of nurses′knowledge and practice level related to EBP was low, and the attitude level was relatively positive. Knowledge training program should be established according to nurses′ age, length of employment, educational background, and job tittle, in order to raise the level of their knowledge, attitude and behavior on EBP. As well as the amount of literature reading and endorsement related to EBP are also primarily factors that influence the practice level.
