Objective:
To analyze the school tuberculosis (TB) outbreaks and preventive treatment in Hefei from 2022 to 2024, so as to provide reference for TB prevention and control in schools.
Methods:
Data were collected on all school based TB outbreaks occurring during 2022-2024 in Hefei, defined as ≥2 epidemiologically linked TB cases within the same school during a single semester. Statistical analyses were performed using the Chi square test.
Results:
Close contacts exhibited significantly higher TB incidence (2.88%) and latent mycobacterium tuberculosis infection (LTBI) rates (13.80%) in the school TB outbreaks, compared to non close contacts (0.12% and 2.63%, respectively). Among close contacts, secondary school students showed lower TB incidence (0.48%) and LTBI prevalence (3.42%) than both primary school or younger children (0.68%, 6.95%) and college students ( 0.78% , 6.50%), with statistically significant differences ( χ 2=360.91, 6.37; 791.71, 102.03, all P <0.05). The proportion of LTBI individuals recommended for preventive therapy was higher in primary school or younger groups (98.59%) than in secondary (95.25%) or college students (86.34%) ( χ 2=25.86, P <0.01). However, among those recommended, close contacts had higher uptake (85.82%) and completion rates (87.25%) of preventive therapy than non close contacts (69.63% and 70.57%); similarly, secondary school students demonstrated higher uptake (91.21%) and completion rates (86.45%) compared to primary school or younger (88.57%, 83.87%) and college students (57.28%, 64.08%) ( χ 2=30.52, 26.72; 125.17, 38.84, all P <0.01). Subsequent TB incidence among LTBI close contacts (13.30%) and among those who did not complete preventive therapy (22.73%) were significantly higher than among non close contacts (2.80%, 2.41%), respectively ( χ 2=32.19, 13.87, both P <0.05).
Conclusions
In school TB outbreaks, close contacts face higher LTBI prevalence and subsequent TB risk than non close contacts. College students show notably low adherence to preventive therapy. It is necessary to take targeted measures to improve the compliance of preventive measures among students.

Cancer Research on Prevention and Treatment 2021;48(1):7-11
In recent years, antiangiogenic drugs based on VEGF and VEGFRs signaling pathway have been widely used in the treatment of malignant tumors. Apatinib is an orally bioavailable small-molecule antiangiogenic agent and can specifically inhibit the tyrosine kinase activity of VEGFR, thereby inhibiting tumor angiogenesis. Apatinib is the first-level recommendation of third-line treatment of gastric cancer in CSCO Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Gastric Cancer published in 2018. Apatinib has been proved to be effective and safe in gastric, lung and breast cancers. In addition, the drug shows great potential in the treatment of a variety of solid tumors. This article reviews the recent progress on the mechanism, clinical efficacy, related efficacy predictors of apatinib and its combination with other antitumor drugs.

Based on the intermolecular interaction, a molecularly imprinted polymer electrochemical sensor with specific identification of cavity on gold electrode surface was proposed with o-aminophenol as functional monomers and morin as template molecule. The performance and effect of MIP were investigated by cyclic voltammetry ( CV) and differential pulse voltammetry ( DPV) . Factors affecting the properties of sensor, such as polymeric membrane ratio, scanning cycles, elution time and adsorption time were investigated. Substances which had a similar structure to morin was used to compared the selective response. The result showed that the sensor had a good selectivity to morin. Under the optimized experiment conditions, the current response of the imprinted sensor was linear to the concentration of morin in the range of 0 . 05-1 . 7 μmol/L with linear equation as follows: I(μA)= 1. 0800lgc(mol/L)+ 9. 3599(R=0. 9934), and the detection limit of 0. 1 μmol/L. The sensor was used to determine the content of morin in black tea samples, and the recoveries of standard addition were between 104 . 0% and 108 . 0%.

Objective To investigate the surgical selection of retinal detachment with myopic macular holes. Methods Management strategies were adopted according to the ocular symptoms of patients with high myopia involved in posterior chorioretinal atrophy, the colour showed by the bottom of macular holes and the shape of posterior staphyloma. Seventy-five eyes of 72 patients fulfilled the study criteria. The patients were followed up in an average of eight-month-observation and were divided into three groups: single 16% C2F6 gas tamponade (26 eyes of 26 patients) as group A,vitrectomy combined with 16% C2F6 gas tamponade (26 eyes of 23 patients) as group B and vitrectomy with silicon oil tamponade (23 eyes of 23 patients) as group C. Results 69.2%(18/26) of the macular holes were closed in group A, 73.1%(19/26)in group B and 87.0% (20/23) in group C after the primary surgery. Comparison of postoperative outcomes, macular hole closure rate was not significantly different among three groups (P= 0.3184). Conclusions It suggests that good anatomic retinal reattachment be achieved using any approach. However, the optimal surgical choice regarding of the personality case offered less surgical burden and more rapid visual rehabilitation to patients.
