Objective To gain insights into the biological characteristics of different populations of Culex tritaeniorhynchus within and around the Yellow Sea wetland from the perspective of the occurrence of resistance, we investigated the levels of resistance to deltamethrin and kdr gene mutation in the wetland and its peripheral areas. Methods Specimens were collected from Cx. tritaeniorhynchus populations at two monitoring sites in the Rare Bird National Nature Reserve and Tiaozi Ni Wetland Scenic Area, and also from two populations in Yancheng City and the Liuhe District of Nanjing, and the resistance of these mosquitoes to deltamethrin was determined using the CDC biotest bottle method. For each concentration of deltamethrin assessed, a random subset of exposed specimens was selected for amplification of the kdr gene fragment, followed by Sanger sequencing to identify and analyze resistance-associated mutations. Results The LC50 levels of deltamethrin among mosquitoes from the four populations in Luhe, Yancheng, the Rare Bird National Nature Reserve and the Tiaozi Ni Wetland Scenic Area were 2.048 5, 7.798 2, 3.473 3, and 17.695 5 mg/mL, respectively, with corresponding concentrations of deltamethrin ranging from 0.005 to 5.000,0.050 to 50.000,0.050 to 25.000 and 0.050 to 50.000 mg/mL, respectively. Furthermore, the ranges of the KT50 values were 11.76-107.43, 67.05-216.30,29.77-107.43 and 28.40-329.51 min; the 1-h knockdown rates were 34.58%-99.15%, 9.52%-43.80%, 55.09%-73.01%, and 10.09%-68.07%; and the 24-h mortality rates were 12.15%-67.52%,9.52%-79.56%,13.17%-82.21%, and 11.01%-78.99%, respectively. With respect to kdr gene mutation, we assayed a total of 63,70,59, and 57 mosquitoes for the four populations, for which we detected L1014F mutation frequencies of 14.29%, 35.00%, 20.34%, and 31.58%, respectively, with a majority of these mutations being heterozygous for resistance. In addition, five adult mosquitoes were identified has having synonymous mutations at site 1011[i. e. , AAT(asparagine)mutation to AAC(asparagine)]. Conclusions Our findings revealed the clear resistance of Cx. tritaeniorhynchus to deltamethrin in the Yancheng region of the Yellow Sea wetland, and the resistance phenotype and kdr frequency of Cx. tritaeniorhynchus in the wetland environment were comparable to those of Cx. tritaeniorhynchus in the wetland environment, thereby indicating that the resistance of different populations of Cx. tritaeniorhynchus was homogeneous under the pressure of different insecticide selection within and around the wetland. However, the underlying mechanisms need to be further studied.

Using a multi-round Delphi method, the group established a standardized informed consent framework covering the initial consultation, treatment, and retention phases. The consensus emphasizes that informed consent is not only a fundamental legal and ethical requirement but also a key step in building trust, improving patient compliance, and enhancing treatment satisfaction. Orthodontists should clearly and comprehensively explain treatment plans, potential risks, uncertainties, and associated costs, while respecting the autonomy of patients or guardians, and maintain continuous communication and dynamic evaluation throughout the treatment process. The release of this consensus provides unified and authoritative guidance for clinical orthodontics, helping to standardize informed consent, enhance its transparency, safeguard patient rights, reduce medical risks, and promote high-quality, sustainable development of orthodontic practice.

Objective To evaluate the application value of superb microvascular imaging(SMI)in pre-dicting ovarian cancer staging.Methods One hundred and thirty-six patients with ovarian cancer who under-went surgical treatment in our hospital from March 2019 to May 2024 were enrolled.Transvaginal,transab-dominal low-frequency,and transabdominal high-frequency two-dimensional grayscale imaging,Color Doppler Flow Imaging(CDFI),and SMI were performed before surgery for staging prediction.Taking surgical-patho-logical staging as the gold standard,the sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy of the combined application of transvaginal SMI,transabdominal low-frequency SMI,and transabdominal high-frequency SMI for predicting ovarian cancer staging were calculated.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was established,the area under the ROC curve(AUC)was calculated,and the diagnostic efficacy of SMI for predicting ovarian cancer staging was determined.Results The combined application of transvaginal SMI,transabdominal low-frequency SMI,and transabdominal high-frequency SMI for predicting ovarian cancer staging showed that sen-sitivity was 89.35%,92.36%,81.65%,and 83.21%for stages Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,respectively;specificity was 86.93%,84.29%,83.39%,and 82.88%;accuracy was 92.50%,94.38%,80.15%,and 84.96%;and AUC was 0.799,0.760,0.695,and 0.727.Conclusion SMI has a high application value in predicting the stage of ovarian cancer,especially for stage Ⅰ and stage Ⅱ ovarian cancer.

Objective:To investigate the prevalence of skeletal fluorosis and the management and treatment of patients in endemic fluorosis areas of Shaanxi Province.Methods:From March to November 2023, in accordance with the requirements of the "2023 Monitoring Plan for Endemic Fluorosis in Shaanxi Province", the implementation of prevention and control measures of endemic fluorosis in Shaanxi Province was investigated. The data of patients with skeletal fluorosis from January to December 2023 were downloaded from Shaanxi Province Endemic Disease Control Information Management Platform, and the epidemiological characteristics were analyzed. At the same time, the management and treatment of patients with skeletal fluorosis in endemic fluorosis areas of Shaanxi Province were carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "Shaanxi Province Endemic Disease Patient Management Service Specification".Results:In 2023, there were 10 drinking water-borne endemic fluorosis cities in Shaanxi Province, involving 3 715 endemic villages, including 3 650 water improvement villages with a water-improving rate of 98.25%. There were 2 coal-burning-borne endemic fluorosis cities in Shaanxi Province, involving 641 746 households in 1 414 endemic villages. Among them, 641 617 households had changed their furnaces and stoves, with a furnace and stove change rate of 99.98%. There were 37 462 patients with skeletal fluorosis in the province, with 35 792 from drinking water-borne endemic fluorosis areas and 1 670 from coal-burning-borne endemic fluorosis areas. The condition was mainly mild and moderate (94.12%, 35 258/37 462), with females accounting for 55.13% (20 654/37 462). The education level was mainly primary school and illiteracy (83.64%, 31 333/37 462), and the occupation was mainly farmers (99.29%, 37 196/37 462). A total of 37 116 patients with skeletal fluorosis were followed up and managed, with a management rate of 99.08% (37 116/37 462). A total of 35 756 patients were managed in a standardized manner, and the standardized management rate was 96.34% (35 756/37 116). A total of 30 649 patients with skeletal fluorosis were actually treated, with a treatment rate of 84.27% (30 649/36 370) and a total effective rate of 98.08% (30 062/30 649).Conclusion:In 2023, the prevalence of skeletal fluorosis in endemic fluorosis areas of Shaanxi Province is mainly mild and moderate, with a wide coverage of community management and a high level of treatment efficiency.

Ischemic stroke is an acute cerebro-vascular disease with high disability and mortality,is the most common cause of death in China.De-spite years of research,there are still no biomark-ers for stroke,and the molecular mechanisms re-main largely unknown.In the past decade,single-cell sequencing technology,as a rapidly developing emerging technology,can conduct high-throughput sequencing of multiple omics including genome,transcriptome,epigenome and proteome at the level of a single cell,providing a new way to discov-er biomarkers and analyze pathological mecha-nisms.In this paper,the progress of single-cell multi-omics sequencing technology and its applica-tion in the discovery of biomarkers,pathological mechanisms and drug development of ischemic stroke are introduced in detail,in order to provide valuable reference for precision medicine of isch-emic stroke.

Objective:To investigate serum long non-coding RNA H19(lncRNA H19),microRNA-140-5p(miR-140-5p)expression levels in elderly patients with cerebral hemorrhage,and their correlation with cognitive dysfunction.Methods:A total of 131 elderly patients with cerebral hemorrhage who were treated in Gezhouba Central Hospital of Sinop-harm between January 2020 and January 2022 were selected.According to score of Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),the patients were divided into normal cognitive function group(n=79,MMSE score≥ 26 points)and cognitive dysfunction group(n=52,MMSE score＜26 points);another 60 cases undergoing physical examination simultaneously were regarded as the control group.General data were collected in all groups,the serum expression levels of lncRNA H19 and miR-140-5p were measured;the correlation among MMSE score,serum expression levels of lncRNA H19 and miR-140-5p was analyzed by Pearson method;multivariate Logistic regression model was used to analyze risk factors of cog-nitive dysfunction in elderly patients with cerebral hemorrhage.Results:Compared with the normal cognitive function group,patients in cognitive dysfunction group had significant higher score of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)and serum lncRNA H19 expression,and significant lower MMSE score and miR-140-5p expression(P＜0.001 all).In patients with cognitive dysfunction,MMSE score was inversely correlated with serum lncRNA H19 expression level(r=-0.643,P＜0.001),and positively correlated with miR-140-5p expression level(r=0.612,P＜0.001),and ln-cRNA H19 expression was inversely correlated with miR-140-5p expression(r=-0.561,P＜0.001).Multivariate Lo-gistic regression analysis indicated that lncRNA H19 was independent risk factor for cognitive dysfunction in elderly patients with cerebral hemorrhage(OR=2.576,P=0.002),while miR-140-5p was its independent protective factor(OR=0.659,P=0.038).Conclusion:Serum lncRNA H19 and miR-140-5p expression levels are closely associated with cog-nitive dysfunction in elderly patients with cerebral hemorrhage,and their detection may have important significance for clinical assessment of these patients.

Objective:To establish scientific and objective indicators of basic professional competencies for undergraduate students of Public Management (Health Management specialty).Methods:Based on the 18 classic competency elements of Hay Group, the basic indicators of professional competencies for undergraduate students of Public Management (Health Management specialty) was established primarily through behavior event method and Delphi method. Data entry was made by EpiData3.1, and SPSS 26.0 and Excel 2010 were used for data analysis and descriptive statistical analysis.Results:The response rates of the two rounds of consultation were 100.0% and 95.5%, and the overall authority coefficient of experts was 0.80. Finally, the basic indicators of professional competencies of undergraduate students of Public Management (Health Management specialty) were developed, which constituted 4 primary indicators and 27 secondary indicators.Conclusion:The indicators of basic professional competencies of undergraduate students of Public Management (Health Management specialty) are scientific and practical, which will guide the cultivation, selection, training, and assessment for health management professionals.
