Treatment based on meridian differentiation is a characteristic method in clinical acupuncture diagnosis and treatment. Accurately defining and explaining its main content and core concepts is essential for effective clinical guidance. This paper reviews the historical and contemporary understanding, concepts, and primary content of treatment based on meridian differentiation. It proposes a four-step process for clinical application: meridian examination, treatment based on meridian differentiation, acupoint selection, and appropriate treatment methods, with TCM syndrome differentiation applied throughout. Constructing a diagnostic and treatment system which is based on meridian differentiation and suited to clinical acupuncture is significant for enhancing therapeutic efficacy and maximizing the benefits of acupuncture in disease treatment.

Objective To analyze the relationship between follow-up service, personal characteristics, lifestyle and blood sugar management of diabetic patients in Gansu Province, and put forward scientific suggestions on influencing blood sugar management of diabetic patients. Methods Based on the data of the 6th National Health Service Questionnaire, 273 subjects were included. Chi-square test and unconditional logistic regression were used to analyze the blood glucose control and its influencing factors of diabetic patients. Results A total of 39.56% patients' blood sugar status was well controlled. 76.92% patients signed up for family doctor service, and 77.66% patients took hypoglycemic drugs according to the law of doctor's advice. There were significant differences in blood sugar control among patients in different regions, educational levels and occupational types (P <0.05) , logistic regression analysis showed that Hui patients (OR=0.21), doctors without family contract (OR=2.86) and patients taking hypoglycemic drugs intermittently (OR = 6.58). Conclusion The blood sugar control rate of diabetic patients in Gansu is low, and the nationality, contracted family doctors and medication plan affect the blood sugar control level of patients. In order to ensure the high efficiency of follow-up treatment, the related follow-up services provided by primary medical institutions, it is necessary to provide self-management programs that meet the individual characteristics and meet the needs of the disease.

Objective:The study investigated and analyzed the health-related quality of life of diabetes patients in Gansu province before and after the healthcare reform and its influencing factors, so as to provide scientific evidence to improve the health-related quality of life of diabetes patients. Methods:The study used data of the fourth and sixth national health service household survey in Gansu province before (2008) and after (2018) medical reform separately, and EQ-5D health utility index was calculated on the basis of Chinese time frade-off values for EuroQol Five-Dimensions Questionnaire Utility Value scoring system. Results:Compared with the period before the healthcare reform, the five dimensions of EQ-5D for residents, aged 15 and above in Gansu, changed significantly after the healthcare reform: action capability improved by 8.08% (27.43% vs. 19.35%), self-care improved by 16.16% (26.55% vs. 10.39%), normal activity improved by 8.97% (28.32% vs. 19.35%), pain/discomfort worsened by 1.38% (38.05% vs. 39.43%), anxiety/depression worsened by 1.83% (16.81% vs. 18.64%), and the EQ-VAS score increased by 3.36 (60.53 vs. 63.89). The health utility index increased by 0.04 (0.83 vs. 0.87). Multivariate regression analysis results showed that the dimension influence factors were not completely consistent, on the whole, the health-related quality of life of diabetes patients with older age, lower education level, no physical exercise and multi chronic diseases was worse ( P<0.05), and multiple chronic disease had the most serious effect on the health of patients with diabetes. The health-related quality of life of diabetes patients with the medical insurance in urban area and after the new medical reform was higher ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The new healthcare reform has active influence on the health-related quality of life of diabetes patients in Gansu province, health care providers and policy makers should pay attention to the impacts of multi prechronic diseases on the health-related quality of life of diabetes patients and the mental health of patients with diabetes.

Chinese Journal of Practical Pediatrics 2019;34(08):648-652
Autism spectrum disorder(ASD) is a group of multi-factor brain development disorders. At present,ASD treatment is still based on behavioral intervention, for there are no specific drugs. ASD comorbidities are extremely common in children with ASD,and the presence of comorbidities has an important impact on the treatment and prognosis of ASD. In recent years, the etiology and behavioral intervention of ASD has become a research hotspot at home and abroad, but there are few studies on comorbidity and drug intervention. Therefore,we summarize relevant literatures at home and abroad, hoping to be helpful for clinical research on ASD comorbidity and drug treatment.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the effect of occupational stress on abnormity of serum total cholesterol and triglyceride in male steel workers. METHODS: A total of 3 957 male steel workers from an iron and steel group company were selected as study objects by judgment sampling method. Occupational stress was measured by the Chinese version of Job Content Questionnaire. The serum total cholesterol and triglyceride levels were measured using fasting venous blood. RESULTS: Among the 3 957 workers, the detection rate of occupational stress was 56. 8%,and 55. 0% of them showed high social support. The abnormal rates of total cholesterol and triglyceride were 21. 8% and 40. 9%,respectively. The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that workers with high social support had high risk of abnormal total cholesterol and abnormal triglyceride than workers with low social support( P < 0. 05) after adjusting for confounding factors such as age, education level, marital status, body mass index, smoking and drinking alcohol, tea. The odds ratio of abnormal total cholesterol in occupational stress workers was 1. 17 times of that of non-occupational stress workers. No association was found between occupational stress and abnormal triglyceride( P > 0. 05). CONCLUSION: Occupational stress may be associated with abnormity of total cholesterol in male steel workers. Social support is an important influences factor to the abnormity of total cholesterol and triglyceride in male steel workers.
