Objective To explore the clinical effects of hypoglycemic drugs on depression degree in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 160 newly diagnosed T2DM patients or T2DM patients who have not used hypoglycemic drugs in the past 3 months with mild to moderate depressive episodes and visited our outpatient department were enrolled in this study from January to December 2022.All the participants HbA1c were ranged from 7%to 9%.They were randomly divided into four groups:Metformin treatment group(Met,n=40),Met combined with sulfonylurea treatment group(Met+SUs,n=40),Met combined with DPP-4i treatment group(Met+DPP-4i,n=40),and Met combined with GLP-1 receptor agonist treatment group(Met+GLP-1RA,n=40).All the patients were scored with the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD)and the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAMA)in each group. Results The Met+DPP-4i and Met+GLP-1RA groups showed the most significant decrease in HAMD and HAMA scores after treatment(P<0.05),while the proportion of moderate depression and significant anxiety in HAMD decreased(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that?HAMD,?HAMA were positively correlated with ?HbA1c in the Met+GLP-1RA group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Met with DPP-4i and GLP-1RA has the most significant effect on improving the degree of depression in patients with T2DM and depression.

Objective:
To analyze the status quo and influencing factors of psychological collectivism of nurses in hematology department of tertiary care hospital, so as to provide guidance for improving the cohesion of nurses in hematology department.
Methods:
A total of 249 hematological nurses from 6 tertiary care hospitals in Wuhan and Jingzhou were selected by convenience sampling. The basic information and psychological collectivism scale (PCS) were used to investigate psychological collectivism.
Results:
The score of psychological collectivism of nurses in hematology department was 53.21±6.84. Univariate analysis showed that the scores of psychological collectivism of nurses in hematology department had significant differences in age, educational background, professional title, hospital grade, children or not, working hours, advanced studies, monthly income and employment methods (

Objective To evaluate the clinical features of local advanced glottic laryngeal cancer patients with beyond five years survival and to provide help for the treatment of advanced glottic laryngeal cancer patients. Methods The data of 129 cases of patients with local advanced glottic laryngeal cancer treated in our hospital from January 1999 to August 2005 were analyzed retrospectively. They were divided into two groups based on their survival time.Forty six patients with beyond five years survival were included in the first group and the other eighty three patients were in the second group. The clinical features were compared and factors associated with survival were identified. Results Compared with the group with under five years survival, the lymph node metastatic rate before treatment was lower, patients treated concurrently with operation were more, and complete remission rate after treatment were higher in the group with beyond five years survival. The differences between two groups had statistical significant.Cox regression analysis identified only operation and complete remission rate were independent prognostic factors. Conclusion For local advanced glottic laryngeal cancer, rational comprehensive treatment and complete remission after treatment and complications prevention are important. But they need to be validated by the large-scale clinical trials.

Objective To investigate the influencing factors on re-examination compliance of patients with breast cancer Who were in the stage of recovery. Methods By clinic services and telephones,we investigated the reexamination compliance of 189 cases of breast cancer. Results 66.1% of the cases took periodic re-examinations and on the opposite,33.9% of the patients didn't do so.Statistical meaning could be found from the difference of ages, living sites and survival time limits(P<0.05).Conclusions The main factors to influence the re-examination compliance of patients with breast cancer are age, living site and survival time limit. And it is possible to improve the re-examination compliance of patients by enhancing health education, raising medicsl levels and service qualities, and creating comfortable environment for patients.

OBJECTIVE To explore the effect of vacuum packaging technique for storing sterilized packs in order to extend the period of valid storing.METHODS From 420 sterilized packages 210 were randomly taken as a test group, and the other 210 packages as the control group.According to aseptic techniques the packages of test group were vacuumized and the control group was packed as by outine protocol. Two groups were simultaneously stored in aseptic closet, and then regularly taken out 30 samples from two groups respectively for microbial(culturing).RESULTS Bacterial growth was seen in the control group at first month. But none of the specimens in test group showed any microbial growth until the eighth month. There was a statistically significant difference((P

OBJECTIVE To explore the effect of smearing catheter surface with chloramphenicol for preventing catheter -associated urinary tract infections. METHODS Totally 100 cases of preoperative patients needed for indwelling urethral catheters were randomly grouped, 50 of 100 cases as test group, and the others 50 cases as the control group. Catheters after smearing surface with chloramphenicol were inserted using aseptic technique in the test group, urinary catheters without using chloramphenicol were inserted in the control group according to routine aseptic technique protocol, and then regularly taken out urinary specimen from two groups respectively for microbial culture. RESULTS The observation showed bacterial growth positive rate was 30%, and 66.7%, respectively in the control group, but positive rate was 6.7%, and 30%, respectively in the test group after the seventh day and the tenth day. There was a statistic significant difference (P
