Objective To provide clinical evidence for the mental nursing mode of child patients with limb fracture through in -vestigation of the anxiety and depression status and analysis of influential factors in traumatic child patients. Methods An investigation was made on the mode and coping style of 37 child patients with limb fracture,by using the self-rating depression scale(SDS),the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)for children, and the self-made fracture knowledge questionnaire.Possible influential factors affecting the mode of child patients were found out, through statistical analysis. Results There was statistical significance in anxiety in child patients be-tween the ages of less than10 years old and more than 10 years old following trauma(P<0.05);The SDS and SAS survey revealed that the children whose parents could correctly answer more than 4 questions(7 questions in total)about the knowledge of fracture got lower scores than other parents, and statistical significance could be noted when comparisons were made between them(P<0.01).Conclusion The age of child patients and fracture knowledge of parents had obvious impact on depression and anxiety.Attention should be paid to mode change in child patients of less than 10 years old,and efforts should be made to intensify propaganda among parents of child patients.
