The global aging intensification has made geriatric wound repair a medical challenge. Diabetic foot and venous ulcers are highly prevalent and difficult to heal in the elderly population, seriously affecting patients′ quality of life and increasing medical burdens. The repair of geriatric wounds is constrained by multiple factors, including weakened regenerative capacity and immune dysfunction. Current research has gradually focused on mechanism analysis and precise intervention. Fibroblast growth factor (FGF) has been confirmed as a key factor in wound repair, and exogenous FGF can activate signaling pathways to promote wound healing. Exosomes have shown an important role in wound regeneration by promoting cell migration and proliferation, thereby accelerating the wound healing process. Geriatric wounds also face the challenge of drug-resistant bacterial infections, so future treatment strategies should combine microecological reconstruction and immune function recovery. Overall, research on geriatric wounds has formed a multidimensional repair framework aimed at activating the regenerative capacity of aging organisms.

Objective To explore the predictive efficacy of platelet distribution width/platelet count(PDW/PLT)in retinopathy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 120 pa-tients with T2DM admitted to Ma'anshan 17th Metallurgical Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the study group and were divided into the non-retinopathy group(n=69)and the retinopathy group(n=51).Another 80 healthy people who came to the hospital for physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group.The PDW and PLT were detected in all subjects after admission,and the PDW/PLT was calculated.The general data and biochemical indexes of each group were analyzed and compared.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the predictive efficacy of PDW/PLT in patients with T2DM complicated with retinopathy,and multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the related factors affecting patients with T2DM complicated with retinopathy.Results PDW and PDW/PLT in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and PLT was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).PDW and PDW/PLT in the ret-inopathy group were higher than those in the non-retinopathy group,and PLT was lower than that in the non-retinopathy group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The ROC curve analysis re-sults showed that the area under the curve(AUC)of PDW for predicting retinopathy in T2DM patients was 0.840(95％CI:0.790-0.890),and the AUC of PLT for predicting retinopathy in T2DM patients was 0.765(95％CI:0.715-0.815),and the AUC of PDW/PLT for predicting retinopathy in T2DM patients was 0.906(95％CI:0.876-0.936).Multivariate Logistic stepwise regression analysis results showed that disease dura-tion(OR=3.047,95％CI:1.863-4.983),glycosylated hemoglobin(OR=3.963,95％CI:1.976-7.947),PDW/PLT(OR=4.191,95％CI:1.833-9.584)were risk factors for retinopathy in patients with T2DM(P＜0.05).Conclusion PDW/PLT is increased in T2DM patients with retinopathy,which could be used as an inde-pendent risk factor for T2DM patients with retinopathy,and has a high predictive value for retinopathy.

OBJECTIVE:To study the spectrum-effect relationship of the antipyretic effect of Radix Bupleuri injection. METH-ODS:HPLC method was used to establish the fingerprint of Radix Bupleuri injection. The antipyretic effect of 10 batches of Radix Bupleuri injection on fever rats induced by dried yeast were determined respectively. The fingerprint peaks were screened,along with the temperature value of different time points(0,10,15,30,40,55,70 min). The principal components were extracted by principal component method and the indirect relationship between the fingerprint and antipyretic effect was analyzed,depending on the principal component correlation coefficient matrix. RESULTS:There were 39 common peaks in fingerprint(similarity>0.85), No. 8,12,14,19,26,31,34,35 and 39 common peaks with large peak area were included in the study. Four principal compo-nents were extracted by principal component analysis(87% of total variant). First principal component showed that the active com-ponents of the 12th peak may be related to the antipyretic effect of 6 to 13 hours. The second principal component showed that the active components of the 26th peak may be related to the antipyretic effect of 0.5 to 5 hours. The third principal component showed that the similar effect of the active components could be caused by 34th,35th and 39th peaks. The fourth principal component sug-gested that there were some similarities between the 14th and the 31st peaks. CONCLUSIONS:Radix Bupleuri injection have obvi-ous improvement for fever rats. There is certain corresponding relation between HPLC fingerprint and antipyretic effect of Radix Bu-pleuri injection .
