Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Qi Shi Shen Shu Capsule combined with dapagliflozin in treating type 2 diabetic nephropathy.Methods 120 patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy(qi-yin liangxu syndrome)admitted to the endocrinology department in the inpatient and outpatient depart-ments of endocrinology from May 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into control and observation groups(60 cases each).The control group received dapagliflozin plus placebo capsules,while the observation group received dapagliflozin plus Qi Shi Shen Shu Capsule for 6 months.The therapeutic effects were observed between the two groups.Parameters including serum creatinine(Scr),urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio(uACR),24-hour urinary protein quantification(24hUP),glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),and high sensitivity-C reactive protein(hs-CRP)were measured be-fore and after treatment.Results The total effective rate was higher(P＜0.05)in the observation group(93.33％)than in the control group(78.33％).After treatment,both groups showed decreased levels of uACR,Scr,24hUP,HbA1c,TNF-α,IL-6,and hs-CRP compared with baseline,with lower levels in the obser-vation group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Qi Shi Shen Shu Capsule combined with dapagliflozin can effectively re-duce uACR,Scr levels and serum inflammatory cytokines levels in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy.

Viruses constitute a significant group of pathogens that have caused numerous fatalities and substantial economic losses in recent years, particularly with the emergence of coronaviruses. While the impact of SARS-CoV-2 appears to be diminishing in daily life, only a limited number of drugs have received approval or emergency use authorization for its treatment. Given the high mutation rate of viral genomes, host-directed agents (HDAs) have emerged as a preferred choice due to their broad applicability and lasting effectiveness. In contrast to direct-acting antivirals (DAAs), HDAs offer several advantages, including broad-spectrum antiviral activities, potential efficacy against future emerging viruses, and a lower likelihood of inducing drug resistance. In our review article, we have synthesized known host-directed antiviral targets that span diverse cellular pathways and mechanisms, shedding light on the intricate interplay between host cells and viruses. Additionally, we have provided a brief overview of the development of HDAs based on these targets. We aim for this comprehensive analysis to offer valuable perspectives and insights that can guide future antiviral research and drug development efforts.

(±)-Talapyrones A-F (1-6), six pairs of dimeric polyketide enantiomers featuring unusual 6/6/6 and 6/6/6/5 ring systems, were isolated from the fungus Talaromyces adpressus. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic analysis and HR-ESI-MS data, and their absolute configurations were elucidated using a modified Mosher's method and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. (±)-Talapyrones A-F (1-6) possess a 6/6/6 tricyclic skeleton, presumably formed through a Michael addition reaction between one molecule of α-pyrone derivative and one molecule of C₈ poly-β-keto chain. In addition, compounds 2/3 and 4/5 are two pairs of C-18 epimers, respectively. Putative biosynthetic pathways of 1-6 were discussed.

Objective On the basis of systematically summarizing and organizing the existing standards of mineral drugs in traditional Chinese medicine,this study aims to construct the top-level framework of the mineral drug standard system and promote the standardization process of the mineral drug industry.Methods A comprehensive search and analysis of the standards for 87 kinds of mineral drugs were conducted on authoritative platforms such as the National Standard Information Public Service Platform,China Standard Service Network,and Traditional Chinese Medicine Standard and Guideline Information Service.By delving into the theoretical foundation and scientific methods,combined with practical research,this study uses analogy reference,systematic decomposition,and process analysis to design the top-level framework of the mineral drug standard system.Results Through comprehensive analysis and scientific design,this study summarizes the construction process and methods of the mineral drug standard system,clarifies the hierarchical structure and classification principles of the system,proposes the compilation path,and forms a standard system covering the entire industry chain of mineral drugs,including raw minerals,product categories,and circulation categories.Conclusion This study constructs a full industry chain process framework for the standard system of mineral drugs,providing a clear perspective for the research of mineral drugs.It can more comprehensively display the current state of development of mineral drug standards in our country,laying a foundation for the research on the standardization of mineral drugs.

General Information Questionnaire, Chinese version Short of Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile-Ⅱ, Health Conception Scale, and Self-rated Abilities for Health Practice Scale were used to conduct the survey. Cluster analysis was used to explore the health behavior categories of community residents, and a decision tree model was applied to analyze the influencing factors of different categories.Results:A total of 830 questionnaires were distributed, and 795 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a valid recovery rate of 95.78%. The health behaviors of 795 community residents in Dongfang City were divided into four categories of comprehensive behavior group (26.04%, 207/795), healthy behavior group (37.23%, 296/795), risky behavior group (18.99%, 151/795), and poor health behavior group (17.74%, 141/795). The decision tree model showed that exercise efficacy, gender, ethnicity, and clinical health concepts were the factors influencing different health behavior categories of community residents in Dongfang City ( P<0.05), with exercise efficacy being the core factor. Conclusions:There is heterogeneity in the health behavior of community residents in Dongfang City. Community healthcare workers can implement targeted health promotion measures according to the behavioral characteristics of the population.

Objective:To investigate the current status of vocational training for pediatric clinical research coordinators (CRC), and discuss the construction of base-based pediatric CRC training, and to promote the ability of pediatric CRCs.Methods:From July 25 to October 16, 2023, an anonymous self-designed questionnaire survey was conducted through the Wenjuanxing platform to investigate the current situation of pediatric CRC vocational training and base training needs. The data were collated using Excel. Categorical data were described as numbers and percentages.Results:A total of 328 usable questionnaires were returned. Only 7.62% (25 people) believed that existing CRC training was sufficient and could meet actual work needs; 4.88% (16 people) responded that there was no training; 46.34% (152 people) believed that the training was insufficient to support actual work needs; 87.50% (287 people) believed that continuous CRC training was needed; 46.95% (154 people) preferred experienced CRCs for teaching, who should have at least 3 years of CRC work experience; and 46.95% (154 people) preferred a duration of 3 months for CRC training. The preferred training methods were: practice under the direction of experienced CRCs (90.85%, 298 people), step-by-step teaching of practical skills (88.41%, 290 people), case analysis and discussion (87.20%, 286 people), process simulation (83.23%, 273 people), and lecture-based teaching (76.52%, 251 people). The preferred post-training assessment methods were: case analysis (76.52%, 251 people), operation simulation (74.09%, 243 people), process simulation (73.17%, 240 people), written examination (66.16%, 217 people), and interview (63.72%, 209 people).Conclusions:The current pediatric CRC training is not enough to meet actual work needs. It is urgent to develop and promote a CRC training system that can meet work needs, laying the foundation for the construction of pediatric clinical research ecology in China.

Objective To investigate the application effect of red furnace massage tank therapy in the patients with wind-cold Bizu type Xiangbi disease.Methods Eighty patients with wind-cold Bizu type Xiangbi disease admitted to this hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the study subjects and di-vided into the test group and control group according to the random number table method,40 cases in each group.The control group was given the conventional treatment,the test group was given the red furnace mas-sage tank therapy.The cervical vertebral function symptoms,pain degree and clinical effect on 14 d after inter-vention were evaluated.The patients were followed up in 1 month after intervention.Results After interven-tion,the improvement degree in the test group was superior to that in the control group[total effective rate:100.0％vs.87.5％,VAS score:0.5(0,1.0)point vs.1.0(0,1.0)point,cervical spondylosis symptom scale(NPQ)score:(3.55±1.83)points vs.(5.15±2.99)points,Tanaka Yasuhisa score:(17.05±1.32)points vs.(14.88±2.10)points],and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).No adverse reactions occurred in both groups.Conclusion Red furnace massage tank therapy could effectively improve the pain symptoms and cervical vertebral function of the patients with wind-cold Bizu type Xiangbi disease.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the changes in high performance liquid chromatography （HPLC） fingerprint spectra and nucleoside components between Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine and its processed product Succus bambusae pinella preparata， providing a reference for the quality evaluation of the latter. METHODS HPLC fingerprint was established for 10 batches of Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine and its processed product Succus bambusae pinella preparata following the Similarity Evaluation System of TCM Chromatographic Fingerprints （2012 Edition）. Hierarchical cluster analysis （HCA）， principal component analysis （PCA）， and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis （OPLS- DA） were conducted on their common peaks. The contents of four nucleoside components， hypoxanthine， uridine， adenine， and guanosine， in both Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine and Succus bambusae pinella preparata were determined. RESULTS The similarity between the fingerprints of the 10 batches of Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine， Succus bambusae pinella preparata， and their corresponding reference fingerprints ranged from 0.851 to 0.990. A total of 10 common peaks were obtained for both samples， and 4 components were identified as hypoxanthine， uridine， adenine， and guanosine. The results of HCA， PCA and OPLS-DA showed that the samples of Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine and Succus bambusae pinella preparata were clustered into separate categories， with OPLS-DA selecting 4 differential components between them， ranked by variable importance projection values as peak 8， peak 1， peak 6 （adenine） and peak 10. The content determination results showed that the average contents of hypoxanthine， uridine， adenine and guanosine in Succus bambusae pinella preparata declined by 15.90%， 12.00%， 26.04% and 22.18% compared to Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine， respectively， with statistically significant differences in the contents of hypoxanthine， adenine and guanosine （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）. CONCLUSIONS The established fingerprint and content determination methods are simple to operate and have good repeatability， which are suitable for qualitative and quantitative analysis of Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine and Succus bambusae pinella preparata. The average contents of the four nucleoside components decreased after the processing of Succus bambusae pinella preparata.
